00:27the dinner was good and the show as very enjoyable the lead slash mc was a fabulous and memorable
00:35entertainer i'm still talking about him three days after returning home to the u.s if there was any
00:42negatives the layout of the restaurant had some obstructed views the attendees who sat along the
00:49sides and in the back frequently had their views blocked otherwise i would recommend this tour slash
00:55show the dances and costumes superbly demonstrated the diversity of filipino culture truly very nice
01:05we liked the bamboo dances the best for the rhythms and complexity the audience slash diners that night
01:12were all on our feet applauding most of the routines and the musicians they were fantastic not only were
01:20they superior on their stringed instruments but when they moved to the native and innovative
01:25percussion instruments we were blown away the dinner buffet though offering fewer selections that
01:33other larger restaurants was nevertheless delicious and sufficient for our palates the porchetta with
01:39the crispiest skin ever was exceptional the evening began with delicious food in a spanish-style
01:47restaurant barbara's the atmosphere was delightful and the food delicious every need was met with our
01:54waiters then the show began and we enjoyed a variety of performances from the spanish period to
02:01classical philippines with almost balinese type costuming to gamalan and bamboo pole dancing
02:07initially we began with flamenco guitars and cello love this evening totally lots of tourists there but it did not
02:16matter went out into the courtyard and took some beautiful photos when booking this tour i thought it was an
02:25event that
02:25you go to and experience the filipino culture however that's not the case it was a restaurant that provides this
02:33cultural dance and it includes food if you can book directly at the restaurant that will save you lots of
02:40money
02:41because booking through this medium is too expensive and all the service they provide is transportation
02:47and booking the table at the restaurant however barbara's restaurant is a must-do if you are in manila
02:55what a fun evening started with my amazing tour guide malu she was extremely helpful and knowledgeable
03:02had a fantastic filipino meal options great and oh so yummy show was great musicians and dancers very
03:11professional costumes colorful prior to show a trio performed musically and vocals extremely good
03:20i came away with a full stomach and enriched with the performances oh what tonight
03:26we wanted to revisit our cultural heritage this tour made our trip more meaningful retelling the history
03:34was a good thing to know again the cultural dances are very entertaining the food was great overall was an
03:43unforgettable experience and especially to our 94 year old mother who they saying happy birthday thank you
03:50for a tour like this we were tourists as we now live in california the cultural dance show is worth
03:59visiting colorful and well prepared though the image photo on the internet is not identical with barbara's
04:06restaurant i would rate the prepared dinner buffet rather average also once i saw the low price which i
04:14compared with our price asked from the organizer the pickup from the hotel and drop-off was also very fine
