00:21We are inventing the house.
00:24We invent the house of life of Colombia,
00:27which are the forests.
00:29This objective is associated with knowing where the house is,
00:33who the house is,
00:34the component arboreo, arbustivo, herbáceo,
00:39how are the soils of the forests.
00:41We invent the forest that falls.
00:44We invent how the community lives around the forests.
00:48In this component of the society,
00:51those who protect them,
00:53those who are using forest resources,
00:55who are interacting in an ecological balance,
01:00in an ecological balance that allows forest management.
01:03This forest inventory also serves us to protect the life.
01:08What is the forest?
01:16Well, we talked about the botanical expedition
01:18that we brought from more than 230 years ago,
01:22our sabio José Celestino Mutis.
01:24He is a wise man,
01:26I also thank the team
01:27from the forest inventory,
01:29to the chalupers,
01:31to the lanchers,
01:32to the trees,
01:33to the trees,
01:35to the trees,
01:36to the trees,
01:37to the trees,
01:38to the trees,
01:39to the trees,
01:41to the forest,
01:42to the trees,
01:44to the forest,
01:45to the forest,
01:46to the forestry.
01:50230 years later,
01:54we are here,
01:55knowing even more our forest resources in Colombia, our forests, our land, our soil, our agricultural composition.
02:03It could be our second expedition, and with a very important connotation,
02:09with new technologies, images of satellites, drones, photographs, information in real time.
02:15They passed many years, were more than 50 years the expedition, here we have 5 years.
02:22We reduced the time from 50 years to 5 years, with all the knowledge, with all the work in team,
02:30inventing, documenting, studying and making plans.
02:35We hope that this forest inventory allows you to take the best decisions in your daily life,
02:43in the use of energy, in the use of water, in the food, in the safety, in the health,
02:49in each one of the components of your daily life,
02:52think that every action, every instrument that you have in your hand,
02:57has to do with the protection of the forests.
03:08I think the most powerful threat that they have in the forests is not to know them,
03:15ignore them.
03:17When you ignore an element of life or of nature,
03:21they have to tell you that it exists,
03:24and only know that it exists when you lose it.
03:29When you lose it,
