00:00India is the only country to safely cross the Strait of Hormuz, while other countries'
00:04ships are either stuck or bombed.
00:06But India's success comes from its own experience, a diplomacy that every Indian learns from
00:12childhood.
00:13According to a survey conducted by Galgothia, almost every Indian metro city has its own
00:18Strait of Hormuz.
00:19Yet India doesn't stop, and every Indian has developed this art of diplomacy and bureaucracy,
00:24which helps them navigate even the narrowest of routes.
00:27Whether entering a stadium, a concert, a theatre, a public event, political rallies or even
00:33a Mumbai flat, one needs a skill to pass through extremely narrow passages.
00:37Growing up in such conditions has made every Indian capable of easily crossing the Strait
00:42of Hormuz.
00:43Speaking to the Foxy, one of the Indian diplomats involved in Strait of Hormuz diplomacy said
00:50When I used to go to the office, I would take the fastest lane, but get stuck at the toll.
00:55There I would request the shortest lane to let me pass.
00:58I learned the skill of negotiation in my early working days.
01:01The same skill helped me negotiate the Strait of Hormuz.
01:06With every city having its own Strait of Hormuz, India is confident about crossing the real
01:11one, but not so confident about avoiding getting stuck in one of its own.
01:15Foxy also spoke to an office goer who crosses Mumbai's Strait of Hormuz daily.
01:20I always thought I would quit my job, become an IS officer and change the system and infrastructure.
01:27But then I realized that even after becoming an IS officer, I would still be negotiating
01:32just to cross the route.
01:33So what's the point?
01:34What does that mean?
01:37With growing global tensions and war in the Middle East and West Asia, India needs more
01:41Strait of Hormuz, one in every city, to produce more diplomats and have the country future ready.
01:46We must thank our BABS, engineers and contractors for foreseeing the global crisis and preparing
01:52us for it.
