00:07In the 11.30pm incident, the 49-year-old victim was travelling towards Kluang town when an
00:14elephant suddenly crossed the poorly lit road.
00:17The animal is believed to have emerged from the roadside, leaving no time to avoid the
00:22collision and causing severe damage to the car.
00:25Despite the impact, the driver was not injured.
00:28The elephant escaped without serious injuries and fled into a nearby forest shortly after
00:33the incident.
