The new RAV4 enhances the driving experience for both driver and passengers: New technologies and materials contribute to improved driving dynamics and enhanced ride comfort.

The lightweight, highly rigid body is based on the improved K platform of the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA). Its rigidity has been improved by approximately ten percent compared to the previous generation, while modifications to the suspension mounting points increase stiffness in these areas by 31 percent at the front and 27 percent at the rear. The result is improved road holding and enhanced cornering.

Passengers also benefit from the improvements to the body and structure, enjoying a smoother and more comfortable ride. Modifications to the suspension mounting points and the A-pillar, combined with highly damping adhesive in the footwells, underbody, and rear wheel wells, reduce vibrations. New sliding elements in the shock absorbers contribute to a smoother ride at low speeds, while softer suspension bushings further reduce road vibrations. Wind noise was also reduced thanks to the optimized shape of the exterior mirrors, the adapted profile of the A-pillar and improved door seals.
