Released for iOS and Android in 2017, Dakar Game 2017, also known as Dakar Rally, is an mobile exclusive game that had a plan to make this rally raid racing game, was the Peruvians, it was developed by Plop! Studio, unofficially collaborated with Dakar, organized by Amaury Sport Organisation (ASO), set in the 2017 season in the edition of Peru-Bolivia-Argentina. Besides, this was a 8th Dakar rally racing game released, now on mobiles, after releasing the first title, Parigi Dakar from 1985, Paris-Dakar from 1988, Paris-Dakar 1990 computer game, an PS1 exclusive, Dakar '97, Paris-Dakar Rally from 2001 and a console-exclusive, Dakar 2 and the Dakar game series by EA, exclusively for old mobile phones.
The game is actually a version 2.1.1 of the base game. The gameplay involves navigating challenging terrains from Paraguay to Argentina, with a focus on the Dakar Peru-Bolivia-Argentina Edition series. Players must manage vehicle health and damage system called the influences, during races and can utilize in-game purchases to influence outcomes. The game employs an arcade-style race time limit, where hitting checkpoints extends the available time. It features real-life licensed cars with bikes like KTM, 4x4s like Toyota Hilux, SxS lke Polaris Extreme Plus, trucks like Kamaz and quad bikes like the Team Alexis Hernandez quad. As of now, "Dakar Game 2017" is no longer available for download. It has been succeeded by the 2018 season with the version 3.1.6 of base game (later now suceeding with Dark Rally) which continues to offer the unique mobile rally racing experience with the same five vehicle categories.
The game offers logics with two controls with buttons and gyroscope, and camera views with traditional chase and interior view. As the buttons can make it clunky, leading when tapping a button like throttle can softlock. As a gyroscope control is better to play. While some vehicles looks slow, as very easy and good ones like Iveco truck and Toyota Hilux, the AI competitors could make a way quick when the player is driving any weakest vehicles, less if you drive the good ones. The gameplay is making absurdly.
Played on PC using LDPlayer 4 with Android 7.1 and 32-bit support. Running on real phones crashes after the Unity logo screen. Use the only one VM on your phone, VPhoneOS, to play this game.
