A hilarious attention-seeking dog has built up a sweet trait of walking up to complete strangers and pretending he has no owner. Five-year-old golden retriever Joey has been extroverted since she he was a puppy, according to his owner Maria, 33. Having initially grown up in an apartment, Joey would start networking as soon as he left the front door – whether it be in the elevator with strangers riding with him, or his local coffee shop, where staff knew his order. But most of all, Joey loves nothing more than going wandering in busy, crowded places to get pets from strangers. At bars, restaurants and parks, Maria often finds Joey many feet away, getting pets from complete passersby who may be wondering where his owner has gone. The wholesome interactions have become so common that Maria, from Melbourne, Australia, started sharing compilations of his antics on her social media pages, which then went viral. She said she finds it funny how the beloved pooch likes nothing more than to pretend to strangers that he has now owner, getting all the love and attention.
