Arene provides the technological foundation for the latest Toyota T-Mate – including a new generation of Toyota Safety Sense, which makes its debut in the RAV4. This brings an even more comprehensive range of safety and driver assistance systems to the standard equipment, and they also operate faster than before.
The new Blind Spot Warning alerts the driver to vehicles they may not have seen in the side mirrors. The system also now includes the new Close Traffic Alert, which reduces driving stress, especially on highways. It provides audible and visual warnings of vehicles approaching from behind at high speed, giving the driver time to react safely.
The Rear Cross Traffic Alert is a new feature for the RAV4, giving the driver even greater awareness of their surroundings, particularly at intersections and in areas with limited visibility. It detects vehicles passing in front of the vehicle and warns visually and audibly of an impending collision.
