00:00I was very nervous about directing because I never directed a film.
00:03I never even thought of myself as ever directing a film.
00:05I couldn't believe it that in my age, I would direct a movie.
00:12I've decided to resign as chairman of the distillery.
00:16My brother will take over the reins.
00:20What?
00:21I think I was very blessed by having this movie
00:25because, in a way, what it is, it's about people rather than about ideas.
00:31This distillery is the heart of this village.
00:33This whiskey is these people.
00:36You sell it to some outsider and who knows what will happen.
00:39Nothing will change.
00:41Everything will bloody change.

00:47but it's not about drug addicts and it's not about alcoholics.
00:50It's about people just getting on with their lives on a day-to-day level
00:52and their whole lives over 30-odd years.
00:55I've missed you, Donald.
00:57You're family.
00:59Better late than never, eh?
01:00That, to me, was the most appealing thing about the script.
