Tensions are rapidly escalating as U.S. President Donald Trump orders a naval blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most critical oil routes. Trump заявил that Iran is “blackmailing the world” and insisted that Tehran will never be allowed to develop nuclear weapons.

He revealed that Iranian officials are “desperate to make a deal,” even as the U.S. military tightens pressure in the region. The move follows failed peace talks and could push the already volatile situation toward a dangerous confrontation, with global energy markets and security at stake.

00:00Well, he's done a good job. Steve and Jared have all done a very good job.
00:04And I can tell you that we've been called by the other side.
00:09They'd like to make a deal very badly. Very badly.
00:12What was the sticking point over? You said it was over nuclear.
00:15It was over nuclear. Very similar, yeah. Very good.
00:18I guess you're listening. It's over the fact that they will never have a nuclear weapon.
00:23Iran, you mark it down, Iran will not have a nuclear weapon.
00:28And we agreed to a lot of things, but they didn't agree to that.
00:32And I think they will agree to it. I'm almost sure of it.
00:34In fact, I am sure of it. If they don't agree, there's no deal. There'll never be a deal.
00:38Iran will not have a nuclear weapon, and we're going to get the dust back.
00:43We'll get it back either. We'll get it back from them, or we'll take it.
00:46Mr. President, as far as the naval blockade is concerned, what's the endgame?
00:50Is it, of course, Iran back to the negotiating table?
00:53Is it to open up the springs so the gas prices ultimately come down?
00:56Maybe everything. I mean, both of those things, certainly, and more.
01:01We can't let a country blackmail or extort the world, because that's what they're doing.
01:08They're really blackmailing the world. We're not going to let that happen.
01:11And, you know, the amazing thing is we don't – can you believe this?
01:15We don't use the trade. We don't need the trade.
01:17We have our own oil and gas, much more than we need.
01:20We have more oil and gas than Saudi Arabia. Think of this.
01:24We produce more. Saudi Arabia and add Russia to it, substantially more.
01:30And by next year, we'll have double that amount.
01:32So we don't need it, but the world needs it.
01:36And many ships are heading to our country right now, as we speak, to load up with the best –
01:42really, I guess you could say – somebody said the best and sweetest.
01:46I don't know exactly what sweet is, but when it relates to oil, it's a good thing.
01:50But they're coming to our country right now.
01:53There are many boats coming to our country.
01:54Now, it could very well be this is going to be settled before then.
01:58We've been called this morning by the right people, the appropriate people, and they want to work a deal.
02:05They would like to work a deal.
02:06Is it your anticipation, Mr. President, that other countries will assist in this effort to lock the Iran in those
02:12– this –
02:13Yeah, other countries are going to assist.
02:15Which countries, sir?
02:16We don't need other countries, frankly, but they've offered the services.
02:20We'll let it – we'll let it be known probably tomorrow.
02:22Has the Lockheed started, sir?
02:24Yeah, started at 10 o'clock.
02:26Bishop Robert Barron.
02:27Bishop Robert Barron supports you and your policies.
02:30He praises you for defending religious freedom.
02:33Yeah.
02:33He also owes Pope Leo and Paul's peace.
02:36Do you apologize?
02:37No, I don't, because Pope Leo said things that are wrong.
02:41He was very much against what I'm doing with regard to Iran.
02:46And you cannot have a nuclear in Iran.
02:48Pope Leo would not be happy with the end result.
02:51You'll have hundreds of millions of people dead.
02:53And it's not going to happen.
02:55So I can't – I think he's very weak on crime and other things.
03:00So I'm not – I mean, he went public.
03:02I'm just responding to Pope Leo.
03:04And, you know, his brother is a big MAGA person.
03:06And he's a great guy, Lewis.
03:08And I said, I like Lewis better than I like the Pope.
03:11Now, you have to have law and order in our country.
03:14And that's what we have now.
03:16We have the lowest crime numbers we've had in a long time, despite the fact that many criminals were allowed
03:21into our country.
03:22But we've gotten a lot of them out.
03:24We've done a great job on crime.
03:26So we have the lowest murder rate in 125 years.
03:30Since 1900, the lowest murder rate.
03:33So we believe strongly in the right order.
03:37And he seemed to have a problem with that.
03:39So there's nothing to apologize for.
03:42He's wrong.
03:43The other thing is he didn't like what we're doing with respect to Iran.
03:47But Iran is a – wants to be a nuclear nation so they can exterminate the world.
03:54Not going to happen.
03:56And it's just about Iran.
03:57If the deal is not reached by the end of the ceasefire, is your threat from before still stands?
04:03Yeah, I don't want to comment on that.
04:05But it won't be pleasant for them.
04:06Let me put it that way.
04:07Do you still pay to charge for it?
04:09Is your time table changed in any way in terms of ending this conflict?
04:14No, I would.
04:15It's going – it's going on.
04:16Because right now there's no fighting.
04:18Right now we have a blockade.
04:21They're doing no business.
04:22I didn't like seeing boats come out if they were doing business with Iran.
04:27But if they weren't, no boats came out.
04:28So now they're doing – Iran is doing absolutely no business.
04:32And we're going to keep it that way very easily.
04:34Don't forget, their navy is gone.
04:36Their air force is gone.
04:37Their anti-aircraft is gone.
04:39Their radar is gone.
04:40And their leaders are gone.
04:42It's a lot.
04:43Do you want to charge for it?
04:44Do you think your state government is coming from predominantly going to China, Mr. President,
04:49has – has he reached out of it?
04:51No, but we have a very good relationship with China.
04:54He would like to see this end at all.
04:56He certainly wants it ended.
04:57Everyone – I want to see it ended too.
04:59But we can't give a nuclear weapon to a group of people that have caused nothing but havoc for 47
05:07years.
05:08Look, I'm the president that's done something about it.
05:12This should have been – and many other presidents regret that they didn't.
05:16Yeah, so I'm doing something.
05:18President, Ukraine impeachment documents that were misclassified show that Eric Charanella
05:22not only submitted false information, but that he had no direct knowledge of the alleged
05:27conversation, which is for all of your sake.
05:29Do you feel vindicated by those –
05:31Yeah, I do.
05:32They're a bunch of crooked people.
05:33You're talking about with respect to all of the things that they put against me?
05:38Yeah.
05:39Well, it's come out that in so many different ways – thank you very much for that question.
05:43I appreciate it.
05:43But in so many different ways, the election was rigged.
05:46The 2020 election was rigged.
05:48We found that out.
05:49But what you just said is just a piece of that.
05:52It's a big piece, but minor, relatively speaking, compared to what they did.
05:57They cheated on the election.
05:58They cheated on the vote.
06:00They cheated in every way possible.
06:01And it's the only way we got an incompetent man to be a president.
06:05And he was an incompetent man.
06:06Many of the things that we're talking about, even including this, this would have been settled
06:10a long time ago, not now.
06:12And it should have been settled by other presidents.
06:15But the election was a rigged election.
06:17We can't let that happen to our country.
06:19It's concealment of exculpatory information.
06:21What should happen?
06:22Well, it's a very serious charge against them and the Democrats.
06:26They cheat.
06:27They can't get elected with their policies.
06:30So their policy is no good.
06:32They want to have – I mean, open borders.
06:35They want to have men playing in women's sports.
06:38Do you think that men should play in women's sports?
06:41I really don't have an opinion on that.
06:43You don't?
06:44I'll bet you do.
06:45I'm here about tax and tips.
06:48Yeah.
06:49Mr. President, if you know your namesake said you deliver to White House, some more understanding
06:53is –
06:53Go ahead, please.
06:54Thank you, Mr. President.
06:55Is it your understanding that during this period of time, while the U.S. has instituted this
06:59naval blockade, that oil companies will be able to send their oil tankers through the
07:05strait, get more oil out from this area?
07:07Yeah, I think they're going to be doing very well there, and I think they're doing very
07:10well here.
07:11You know, a lot of tankers are coming up here.
07:13They're coming in empty and out full, and we have a great capacity to take care of that
07:19business.
07:20Mayor, can we know your name, please?
07:21Have you delivered to the White House before?
07:22I have not.
07:23My name is Sharon Simmons.
07:25And are the White House contributors, do you know?
07:28Um, wait.
07:30Potentially.
07:32Mr. President, can I ask you something about Cuba?
07:36That's great.
07:36You reminded me.
07:38Mr. President, what on Cuba, sir?
07:40You previously said that you had no problem with countries sending fuel to Cuba after previously
07:47promising to America.
07:49What happened?
07:50What changed?
07:50Well, we're going to see with Cuba.
07:52Cuba's another story.
07:54Cuba's been a terribly run country for a long time.
07:57It's got a bad system.
07:58It's been very aggressive, as you know.
08:00And we have a lot of great Cuban Americans, all of whom just about voted for me.
08:05And they were treated very badly.
08:07In many cases, family members have been killed.
08:09They've been beaten up and mugged and, like, terrible things happened in Cuba.
08:15And Cuba's a failing nation.
08:17And we're going to do this.
08:19And we may stop by Cuba after we're finished with this.
08:22But Cuba is a nation that has been horribly run for many years by Castro.
08:35I don't know if federal prosecutors have evidence to charge.
08:39Well, I don't know.
08:40I know she's a very corrupt person.
08:43And you're talking about the so-called attorney general of New York.
08:47She's a very corrupt person.
08:48That's been proven now.
08:50And I know they've – I have nothing to do with it.
08:53But they're looking at things all over – all over the place, more than one state concerning her.
08:59And concerning people like Comey, who's a dirty cop.
09:03Comey's a dirty cop.
09:05And dirty cops are bad.
09:07I love – nobody likes the police more than me, law enforcement more than me.
09:11But Comey's a totally dirty cop.
09:14And they're not going to – we're not going to stand for it.
09:16Yeah.
09:17The UFC fight that's happening at the White House this summer.
09:20The UFC typically numbers those fights consecutively.
09:23But should they label this one UFC 1776?
09:27That's a good idea.
09:28I'll tell that to Dana White.
09:29I like that idea.
09:30I will say I've been involved with a lot of big events.
09:33I have never had an event that's had more interest than the UFC fight that we have right at the
09:38front.
09:39But right there, they're going to start building about a 4,500-seat arena.
09:44And then in the back, at the Ellipse, we're going to have maybe 100,000, 50,000 to 100,000
09:50people, I guess.
09:51They're building tremendous stages.
09:54And we're going to have massive screens.
09:57And it's, you know, very popular in the sport.
09:59But I have never been involved – because of the White House and everything.
10:03You know, there's a lot of reasons for it.
10:04But we're having a fight at the White House on June 14th.
10:08And we're going to have an arena built right at the front door.
10:12And, you know, if you want – is your husband up to coming with it?
10:15Does he like UFC?
10:17He might.
10:18If he's feeling good, we'll make sure you come, okay?
10:20That would be wonderful.
10:21That's better than the tip I just gave you.
10:23I said, I've got it.
10:25But, no, if he's feeling good, right?
10:26Is he doing okay?
10:27Is he going to be okay?
10:28He's doing very well.
10:29He's doing very well.
10:30He actually, during the process, he wrote a book.
10:37Don't give him the name.
10:38Maybe you're saying?
10:38He hasn't had it published yet, but it's a book on humility.
10:43And his name is Leo, and he's just –
10:46Good guy.
10:47Doing good.
10:48He's doing great.
10:49How long are you married?
10:51We have been married for six years.
10:54Oh, so.
10:55That's cool.
10:55You know, like most people, we've been together for over ten.
10:59That's very good.
11:01Let's say hello to him.
11:02He's going to be good.
11:03Okay.
11:04He's going to get better, and he's going to be good.
11:06Yes, sir.
11:06Good.
11:06Well, I want to thank you all, and I especially want to thank you for being here.
11:10Well, I want to thank you for the No Tax on Tips.
11:14That's great.
11:15It has helped my family out immensely, and I definitely appreciate it.
11:20You know, the one thing that I – I just didn't leave it.
11:24We've had more good press for a change having to do with the fact that people are receiving
11:29more money from their tax refunds than they ever thought possible.
11:34We had a man the other day got $5,000.
11:35There was another one about seven.
11:37They weren't expecting anything like this, and it's because of the great, big, beautiful
11:40bill, and that's why you came, and I really appreciate it, and tell your husband to get
11:45better.
11:46I will.
11:46And if he's feeling good, you'll come up and you'll watch that.
11:49All right.
11:49I appreciate it.
11:50All right?
11:51Thank you very much.
11:52Thank you so much.
11:57Any update on who you want to leave DOJ?
11:59Have you been an update?
12:00Well, I think Todd, as far as doing a fantastic job, I will say that.
12:03He's a great lawyer.
12:04I know that because he's been with me a long time, and so far he's doing a great job.
12:10But we have incredible people in the DOJ, getting better all the time.
12:13Thank you very much, everybody.
12:16Thank you, sir.
12:19Do you want to come in for a second?
12:20All right.
12:27All right, guys.
