00:14I've just experienced so many things that I've never thought I'd ever be able to experience.
00:23I knew when I was going to be a wrestler, I was going to change the cycle.
00:26This kind of violent, destructive, aggressive, angry at life cycle where it's like, you think you're set up to fail.
00:36You don't think there's success at the end of it.
00:39You just think like, well, this is what I'm going to be.
00:43But I didn't think that.
00:44I was like, no, this isn't going to be my life.
00:47I'm going to make something of it.
00:48And that's what I'm going to do.
00:49I'm going to be the WWE.
01:17Hey, you know me.
01:19Well, you know me as Liv.
01:21But my real name is Gianna.
01:23Oh my God, Gianna.
01:24You see these cameras?
01:25They have been following me for the last 18 months.
01:29What a roller coaster it's been.
01:32This story is full of twists and turns.
01:35And the ending?
01:36Well, that's a surprise too.
01:38So let me take you on a ride.
01:41The ride of my life.
01:43My journey in WWE has been anything but usual.
01:47From the Performance Center to NXT.
01:50And of course, being a member of the Riot Squad.
01:53With Ruby and Sarah.
01:55They're my best friends.
01:57We had some success from Evolution to Super Showdown in Australia.
02:01And even WrestleMania.
02:04But if we're going to tell this story, I think it's best we start here.
02:09At the Superstar Shake-Up in Montreal.
02:18We weren't ready.
02:21We weren't ready for it.
02:24That was a very sad day.
02:26It was a hard day.
02:28No one told us anything.
02:30We thought we were on our way to being tag team champions.
02:33And then we go to TV and Liv's being moved to SmackDown.
02:37And we just were like, oh.
02:40It was just unexpected.
02:42Because we felt like we had so much left to do together.
02:45You know, we barely even scratched the surface.
02:48I get the goosebumps.
02:49We were just getting like, you know, our groove.
02:51And then that was it.
02:54It was gone.
02:55If superstars and teams are split up.
02:57So know where you're going with that.
03:00That's not an option.
03:01Like, there was no payoff.
03:04There was no, like, closure for us.
03:09Yeah.
03:10It was definitely unexpected.
03:13It was just a day, man.
03:15Like, it's a day I still, like, don't know quite how I feel about it.
03:20I don't, it's still not over.
03:22That day is still not over.
03:24I felt a little bit like it was my fault.
03:27Because I had to go get surgery.
03:32They knew, they knew what it's like to travel the roads with someone.
03:37And only know this company with them.
03:40And only know this world with them.
03:43And that that was going to change very abruptly.
03:47I felt for Liv.
03:49Because she was going to SmackDown on her own.
03:53And so there you go.
03:55Two years with the Riott Squad.
03:57And just like that, it was over.
03:59We never got to the heights we hoped.
04:02We didn't become tag team champs.
04:04We broke up.
04:06I just found out that I'm going to SmackDown.
04:10And I know I look really sad.
04:12I am a little bit sad.
04:13But I'm happy.
04:14I just, uh, when I started this journey, I didn't want to be in a tag team, you know?
04:23And I didn't expect, like, Ruby and Sarah to just become such a huge part of my life.
04:29Like, my best friends and my sisters.
04:31And, um, now that I'm on this road with them, I can't imagine ever getting off of it.
04:37And, um, I'm excited for the opportunities, you know, for them and for me.
04:40But the squad is, like, so real.
04:44You guys don't even know.
04:45And, um, I'm just going to miss them.
04:48And I want to be with them.
04:49But I'm excited to go back to, um, SmackDown Live, where it all started for me.
04:56And I'm going to miss my friends.
04:57And so that's how I feel right now.
04:58I just wish that we could be together forever.
05:03But it wasn't forever.
05:05And that was okay.
05:07This was the chance I had been waiting for.
05:10Ever since I was a little girl.
05:14Every family has issues.
05:16Like, I'm five years old and no one's checking to see that I've done my homework.
05:21Or no one's checking to see that I'm even passing school, you know?
05:26And, um, I was, like, left to my own devices really, really, really young when I didn't even have a
05:33grasp of, like, what being a responsible adult is supposed to be.
05:38I had no one telling me anything.
05:41Um, I just was watching what was in front of me, which were my brothers who were angry and upset
05:47at life and destructive and mean and, like, abusive.
05:50And my mom, who has all these kids by herself, just trying to hold it together as best as she
05:55can.
05:56And it was hard, financially, very hard.
06:02I was working 60 hours a week.
06:06So, most of the times, we were above water.
06:11But there were times when it just didn't work.
06:17My mom, who was a waitress, worked hard.
06:20Working 60 hours a week, my mom tried.
06:23She had to.
06:25In 1994, my father passed away of a heart attack just three months before I was born.
06:31So, I was raised by a single mother, and it was us.
06:35All seven of us, including my brothers and sisters.
06:44I lived in the suburbs.
06:47I went to a good school.
06:49Elwood Park Memorial Middle-slash-High School, because that's what it was.
06:53It was a middle-slash-high school.
06:54We'd, like, walk to parties.
06:56And I was a cheerleader.
06:57I'd do the football games.
06:59And my social life was the most normal part about my life, you know?
07:03It's, like, not even, like, my friends really knew what my life was at home.
07:07They didn't know the other side of me, which was, like, the girl that's in her room with
07:12wrestling on the loudest it can go because of the commotion that's going on outside the
07:17door.
07:18A secret.
07:19It was, like, a secret.
07:20You know, my home life sucks, and it's a secret.
07:24But it also was, like, my normal.
07:25So I was able to really take it on the chin, because that was my normal.
07:30I knew it wasn't normal, but it was my normal, and my tolerance for it grew so high that I
07:35appeared to be okay, you know?
07:38And didn't realize how much I needed someone to, like, give me some structure.
07:43And it's just something that I was lucky enough to realize when I was so young.
07:49WWE gave me a purpose.
07:51I watched it, knew I was going to do it, and so I shaped my life.
07:54Like, how am I going to get there?
07:57You know, like, when there's just things that you just, like, can't explain, but you
08:01can feel it?
08:02You just can't explain why you feel this way, but you just, something inside of you.
08:07I was, like, five years old, and I put on WWE.
08:09My brothers were watching it, and I watched it, and I just was like, I was like, whoa.
08:13You know, I just, I just knew, like, that's what I'm going to do.
08:19I'm going to be in this WWE, and I watched it, and I thought they were amazing.
08:25I thought the physicality, the stories, I was completely in awe by it.
08:34So much that my brothers and I, we built, like, a little makeshift ring in the backyard, and
08:39we would wrestle, and we'd do entrances, and it was, it was their dream, too.
08:50Ever since she was a little girl, it was always about wrestling.
08:55Wrestling was a big thing in our household.
08:58We didn't have much at that time, so I built a ring for her in the backyard with old cushions
09:06from the lounge chairs, sticks from a pear tree, and I went to the store, and I bought 200 feet
09:17of laundry line.
09:20It became the after-school event, and that's where they wrestled.
09:26That's where she started, and she's been wanting to be a wrestler forever.
09:33That dream became my mission when I dropped out of high school in 2010 during my sophomore
09:39year.
09:41Got my GED, and across the street from the GED Center was the Hooters, and I was like, damn,
09:48I mean, I just got out of high school.
09:49I need to, I need to make money.
09:51I need to start getting things going.
09:52So I was like, I'm going to work at Hooters.
09:54I went in there, and I applied.
09:56I got hired, and I loved it.
09:59Hooters is great.
10:00It gives so many opportunities to women.
10:02There's so many little things in Hooters, aside from just, you know, being a server.
10:06There's the beauty pageants, and there's the calendars, like I was in the calendar.
10:10Hooters not only gave me a job, but gave me an opportunity, something I needed at that
10:16time.
10:17It was the first time in my life I had responsibility, even if it was as simple as making sure
10:24your
10:24wings were hot and your beer was cold.
10:26I took it and ran with it.
10:30I started working out and got in the best shape of my life with the help of Joe DeFranco,
10:36who has trained high-level professional athletes, including Triple H.
10:42Soon after, I got a tryout with the one place I had dreamed about, WWE.
10:50In the summer of 2014, I got the call from WWE's head of talent development, Canyon Seaman.
10:58I see an email from Canyon, and he's like, your phone's not working, call me.
11:05And I'm like, oh, I thought I was in trouble, I didn't know.
11:07So then I call him, and I'm like, hello, sir, like, you know, sorry.
11:11He's just like, oh, it's okay, um, how's your weekend going?
11:15It was Fourth of July weekend, and I was like, oh, it's going good.
11:17And he was like, I just wanted to call.
11:22He was like, I just wanted to call to give you some good holiday news.
11:26We want to give you a contract.
11:28And I was just, like, so blown away.
11:31I was so blown away.
11:35I couldn't believe it.
11:36And I reacted just like how I'm reacting now.
11:38I started crying.
11:40And my brother knew from that, you know, just from me crying, that I got signs.
11:44So my brother's in the background screaming.
11:46Canyon's on the phone, like, do you need a minute?
11:48Because I'm hysterically crying.
11:49I'm like, no, I'm okay, I'm okay.
11:51I'm listening, I'm listening.
11:52And all of us went crazy.
11:54We were just nuts.
11:55We were, like, waiting for the cops to come.
11:59Because it was just crazy.
12:00We were so happy because she wanted it so bad.
12:04And from then on, it was just, like, tunnel vision.
12:08Like, going to WWE, going to WWE.
12:10And that's, yeah.
12:14Yeah, that's how it happened.
12:17I did it.
12:18I was 19 years old and heading to Orlando, Florida.
12:22To the Performance Center as the newest WWE signee.
12:28I can't paint the PC in a better light, you know.
12:30That, to me, was, like, my home, you know.
12:32I learned everything at the PC.
12:34I learned everything at the PC.
12:35And the coaches were so patient with me.
12:38Because I was a 19-year-old girl that didn't know.
12:41I thought she knew everything.
12:43So they were patient.
12:45PC is a pure place in my mind.
12:49It really shaped my work ethic.
12:53We worked so hard.
12:54Your first couple months learning how to work are, like, intense.
12:59People don't realize how hard it is.
13:01I couldn't really walk.
13:03I was tired all the time.
13:05My body was so beat up.
13:06And I've got to, like, be focused because you're retaining so much information.
13:10It was so hard.
13:11It was just very pivotal years for me.
13:14In my, just, development of being an adult.
13:19I know what you guys think when you look at me.
13:21That I got here based on my looks.
13:23That I have no talent or drive.
13:25The mirror room at the Performance Center was kind of like your mirror at home.
13:30That's why it's called the mirror.
13:31You know, like, go home, look in your bathroom mirror, and talk to yourself.
13:36And see the faces that you make, and see how you say it.
13:40Examine what you're looking at.
13:41Because if you don't like it, you know, fix it.
13:44Very, very, very pivotal for learning how to do promos, for sure.
13:48And they'd go, and they'd count how many mirrors you did.
13:52You know, and like, oh, you only did, like, three mirrors all month?
13:55Do you think you're that good at promos?
13:57Because you're not.
13:58You know?
13:59And it's like, you're held accountable.
14:01Like, do your mirrors.
14:02You know, you want to get promos?
14:03Do your mirrors.
14:10Even if, you know, I wasn't great.
14:12I was in there all the time just talking about what I had for breakfast.
14:14And with Aaliyah just talking shit about everyone.
14:19I'm kind of getting some liminal messages here.
14:22Okay.
14:23It's just, it's a tool.
14:25Learn how to talk, and learn to see what other people see when you talk.
14:29Bye.
14:32In 2015, I finally had my first match.
14:36It wasn't televised, but the cameras did capture me afterwards.
14:42Let's just say my debut, or whatever you call it, was the first of many learning experiences.
15:01Over the next three years, I tried different characters and techniques.
15:07Every year, I got better in the ring and on the mic.
15:11Then, the next step came.
15:14On November 21st, 2017, that date is forever for us.
15:20We got it tattooed.
15:21And we were in this together.
15:24I went from, like, being there with Bailey, Sasha, Charlotte, to being, like, the longest tenured person there.
15:31And we finally got called up.
15:33And we had no idea what show we were going on.
15:36I got a mass email with yada, yada, yada, yada, yada, yada.
15:39We need you to come to Raw to do a dark match.
15:42And then we show up, and we get sat in a room that no one knows we're in all day.
15:49And Triple H and Mark Carano walk in, and they look at Sonya and Mandy, and they just tell them,
15:55you're going to debut on Raw tomorrow with Paige as a heel faction.
15:58And they're like, oh, my God.
16:01And they look at me, Ruby, and Sarah, and he's like, you're going to debut on SmackDown as a heel
16:05faction.
16:06And we're just like, okay.
16:08He looked at us and said, congratulations, you've made it to the main roster.
16:13And all of us are, like, internally dying because we're just shaking.
16:17We're so excited, but we just want to remain cool and, like, calm and collect, you know.
16:22And we're just, like, sitting there, and he can see it in our eyes.
16:26Like, he can see that we want to just freak out.
16:28And so he stands up, and he goes, you guys can freak out now.
16:31And as soon as he gave us permission, we all shot up and just started hugging each other and crying.
16:38And yelling.
16:42And the Riot Squad was born.
16:45It was Ruby, Sarah, and me.
16:48You're going to SmackDown Women's Champion!
16:49Oh, Sarah Logan!
16:51Not only did we bond on screen, but off screen, too.
16:55Traveling the world together, we quickly became huge parts of each other's lives.
17:01We're like, how can we make the most out of this?
17:03So we went to the ring every single week and made the most out of whatever we did.
17:08And we had a hell of a time doing it.
17:09Give me please!
17:13It's the Riot Squad!
17:15It's what we're waiting for.
17:18Hey, hey!
17:20It's just weird how we meshed so fast and just how strong our bond became.
17:27And we were way more alike than we ever could have thought.
17:31You know, we look completely different.
17:32We couldn't look more different, actually.
17:36I remember Sarah feeling nervous that I wouldn't feel included in the group, that I wouldn't feel part of.
17:44But it just happened so naturally and so fast, you know?
17:49I was like, I'm going to get these girls to like me.
17:51And they did.
17:52And now, um, I have a lifelong friendship.
17:56Okay.
17:57That was a lot.
18:00But all of that shows you my journey and brings us back to the week the Riot Squad was dissolved.
18:07I was sent to a new show, SmackDown Live, or as I call it, SmackDown Live.
18:14And now, I was on my own.
18:22So, before I was in a sex team, I didn't think I was a tech team wrestler.
18:24I didn't want to be a sex team.
18:26And I was like, not mad about it, but I was like, damn, you know, I have to share my
18:29child with these two girls.
18:30Two girls.
18:30And I did it for two years and I fell in love with them.
18:32You're going to have that forever.
18:33So then if you end up working with those guys as a ready-made story.
18:37And you've got ready-made reports so you'll help each other out when you work together.
18:41It's good stuff.
18:42It's also that I've been protected.
18:45All my work ethic is split into the series because I have these two girls with me.
18:49But now that it's solely based on me, I'm questioning my work ethic and my abilities in the ring.
18:54All that's going to change and all that's going to go up is your cardio.
18:57I know.
18:57That's the only thing.
18:58Treat it as a good thing and it's just a way to advance you and you get to work with
19:03other people and build those relationships again.
19:05And you're young, which means there's a lot of future.
19:08You've got nothing to worry about.
19:12I didn't see her for weeks and weeks and I would text her every week.
19:16You got anything this week?
19:17Nope.
19:18Got anything this week?
19:19Nope.
19:20I keep getting told I have something.
19:22I keep getting told I have something big in the works.
19:25And it just wouldn't happen.
19:27I know both me and Sarah have both tried every week to explain to her.
19:32It's going to happen.
19:33They just, they're saving you for something special.
19:35It's going to happen.
19:37But we can only tell someone that so many times before we don't believe it ourselves.
19:46I feel confident today.
19:49One week became two weeks and then a lot of weeks.
19:53It was three months.
19:55And in July 2019, I finally got my opportunity and returned to action against the queen, Charlotte Flair.
20:08Oh, no, she's not going to mess out.
20:13Text her.
20:14Call me.
20:29Hey Tina.
20:32Hey.
20:33What's going on?
20:36Oh, I'm viewing tonight.
20:40I'm going to be on SmackDown tonight.
20:46Yeah.
20:49Yeah.
20:51Yeah.
20:52Uh-huh.
20:54Oh, my God.
20:55Yeah.
20:55You're pre, you're debut.
20:57Oh, my God.
20:58I know.
21:00Oh, my God.
21:01All right.
21:06Yeah.
21:07Yeah, just watch it.
21:08I love you.
21:08I gotta go.
21:10Bye.
21:11Bye.
21:25I finally made my debut on SmackDown.
21:29I spoke up in this fan hall meeting.
21:30I called Charlotte out and we had a match, which ended up to me setting off on a journey to
21:40find myself.
21:43Liv Morgan go up against the eight-time champion.
21:52Look at Morgan go.
21:55Morgan can get ahead in a big way tonight if she can knock off Charlotte Flair.
22:00Charlotte Flair came into the matchup underestimated Liv Morgan.
22:03I absolutely think she did.
22:05Liv Morgan has said to Charlotte Flair, quote, because of people like you, it's why people like me don't get
22:11opportunities here on SmackDown Live.
22:24Listen, again, I have a lot of respect for Liv Morgan for coming out here and making her own opportunity,
22:29okay?
22:29She did.
22:32Charlotte was right.
22:34And when I come back, I'm going to be real.
22:43I felt so f***ing good.
22:46I cried at the end of my match just because I was so happy.
22:48I was real tears.
22:50I feel like my promo, like my emotions just came naturally, you know what I mean?
22:54I'm already ready for my re-debut.
22:58So I had my first singles match, and it was a success.
23:03Or so I thought.
23:07She's a part for me.
23:08Like, it must be.
23:10It must be.
23:11Where are we?
23:11She's not lost.
23:12You'd think she'd be lost without the Riot Squad, but she's not.
23:14She seems even more focused, and I like it.
23:18She seems really like she knows where she's going.
23:20She's got direction now.
23:21Hello.
23:22Of course, she could be reliant on the girls, but now she's very focused to herself.
23:26Selfie.
23:28And I can't wait to beat her in the ring tonight!
23:32What are you talking about?
23:34Don't you ever!
23:35I'm not saying nice things about you, Nick.
23:39It was weird, you know, traveling every week, renting cars, getting hotels, going to TV,
23:46not knowing anything, and just there's so much uncertainty.
23:51You know, because it didn't necessarily feel like it was in my hands.
23:55I was ready.
23:59Do you not have anything for me?
24:00You know, I was ready to go.
24:06Obviously, you get paranoid.
24:08You're like, am I doing something wrong?
24:10Is there something that I don't see?
24:12You start, like, worrying about your job, because you don't know why you're not being used.
24:18What week is this?
24:20What week is this?
24:21I don't know.
24:22I feel like I've been going for a while.
24:24Wow.
24:25What?
24:29It's pretty good.
24:29I know, right?
24:30I was pitching tons of characters.
24:32I was pitching, you know, more dark.
24:34In my perfect world, I was going to play this character that I, you know, worked so hard
24:39writing about and studying about, you know, writing out, like, really deep, dark feelings
24:42that I've had, maybe that I suppressed, and revisiting, because that's what this character
24:47was going to be.
24:47She was going to be like this tortured soul, but so passionate and just dark, but, like,
24:52beautiful.
24:55It was the slowest burn ever.
24:59Over the next couple of months, I waited and waited until I got the news in September of
25:372019.
25:42I feel like a Pokemon.
25:43I just evolved.
25:46I don't know what the name is, but this is the final form, I think.
25:54Liv Morgan versus Ember Moon in a dark match.
25:57I've been off for however many months.
25:59I've been going to the PC.
26:00I have new moves.
26:02I've been watching tons of tape.
26:04I have a very good sense of self.
26:07Like, I know what I'm doing.
26:08I know who I am.
26:09I'm going to have a killer match with Ember Moon.
26:12I love working with Ember.
26:13She brings out the best in me.
26:14She's not scared to go.
26:15She's competitive, and I'm competitive, so we just have a competitive match.
26:30I have new gear.
26:46I knew what I was going to do.
26:47I was super excited.
26:48I was back blonde.
26:49I just dyed my hair blonde impromptu, didn't tell anyone, and I think I'm going to have
26:55a match with Ember, so I'm ready to show my shit.
26:57I'm like, okay.
26:58I want to show everyone, like, okay, this is what you've been missing out on this whole
27:01entire time.
27:05And I'm doing, like, my pre-match ritual.
27:07Thank you and that new-new.
27:08She's on the other side.
27:10Like, I'm about to go out there.
27:11Like, in less than 45 seconds, I'm going to walk through the curtain.
27:21Hold up.
27:21This match is canceled.
27:22Michael, stop it.
27:23Swear to God.
27:24Swear to God.
27:27Then out of nowhere, I just hear Michael Hayes, and he's like, Liv, can't go out there.
27:31And I was like, and I thought I was being, like, I thought they were joking with me.
27:36I was like, are you just, like, ribbing me so I'm not ready?
27:40You know, I don't know.
27:41Girl, what's going on, Bill?
27:43Hey, you there?
27:44Probably not.
27:46She got it.
27:47I can't believe this.
27:48Yeah.
27:5030 seconds before we're supposed to go out, our match gets canceled.
27:54So.
27:55That was it.
27:56It was bizarre.
27:57It was bizarre.
27:57I was super ready to go perform.
28:01And I wasn't allowed out.
28:07So, I didn't go out.
28:13It turned out that I was not supposed to be exposed to this crowd, not in my final debut form.
28:22So, pretty much, I couldn't do this dark match.
28:24I'm not to be seen until I debuted back on WWE TV.
28:29I was shocked, but I was, like, it, like, was encouraging, you know, because the boss didn't want anyone to
28:36see me, you know, not on TV in final form.
28:39I was, like, oh, cool.
28:40Like, you know, like, I'm not forgotten about, like, everyone still cares.
28:43You know, like, we still care.
28:44Like, we want my new debut and character to, you know, stay under wraps until it's debuted.
28:52So, I kind of took it as, like, a good thing.
28:54Like, oh, cool.
28:55You know, like, they're still thinking about me.
28:58They don't want me to go out there and expose what we've been working on or what I've been working
29:01on.
29:02So, I ended up, like, taking it as, like, a little bit of a positive.
29:07It was positive.
29:09Even though I didn't wrestle that night, I felt the momentum was going my way.
29:14A few weeks later, in October, another pleasant surprise.
29:19I was sitting at home during the draft, watching the draft on TV.
29:24And the final pick of the 2019 WWE Draft, Monday Night Raw selects Liv Morgan.
29:35Guys, in the NFL, this pick would be called Miss Irrelevant because it's irrelevant about when you get picked.
29:41It's what you do with the opportunity.
29:43This is a pick of true potential.
29:46That's a great word, potential.
29:48Lining up Liv Morgan.
29:49Liv Morgan now a part of Monday Night Raw.
29:52Okay.
29:53I'm going to Raw.
29:54I'm going to Raw.
29:57And, you know, it was televised.
29:58So, it's, like, a big deal, right?
29:59It's a big deal.
30:00Like, they want people to know that Liv's going to Raw.
30:02And so, I took that as a positive as well.
30:05I was like, cool.
30:07I'm going to debut.
30:09Go to Raw.
30:12I was back to square one.
30:14Again.
30:15Back on Monday Night Raw.
30:18But this time, I had someone in my corner.
30:24What did I see in Liv Morgan?
30:26A confused kid who can't find her way in life.
30:32That has dreams that are defined in her head that she can't articulate or convey to her friends or the
30:38masses.
30:39But is chasing an indescribable dream that only she herself can truly understand.
30:46And there are so many people out there just like that.
30:51My daughter is 18, and she always tells me, stop trying to define me.
30:58And that's what we, as an entertainment company, try to do.
31:02We try to define every character with absolutes.
31:06And here is the exception that defines a rule.
31:11Because Liv can't be defined.
31:15And she doesn't want to be.
31:19Because no one that age wants a label placed on them.
31:33I get a FaceTime from Paul Heyman.
31:36Tells me, you know, this is your debut.
31:38And I'm like, yes.
31:39Because, you know, none of my pitches worked.
31:41None of anyone else's pitches worked.
31:43I'm about to debut.
31:45What is it?
31:46And he, to sum it up, says that I will be crashing Bobby and Lana's wedding.
31:56And revealing myself as a past secret lover of Lana.
32:03The thought process was to re-debut Liv in, like, the biggest way possible.
32:24Marriage is a garden we sow.
32:47If there is a garden or a homeowner,
32:50If there is a garden or a homeowner,
32:52If there is a garden or a homeowner,
32:54Please, may it just pause.
32:57Why these two should not be calling the holy matrimony,
33:02Speak now, walk a river,
33:06And I do need forever,
33:09Hold your peace.
33:13Protect my voice.
33:17I don't.
33:20The love of my life is right there.
33:23I'm not talking about Bobby.
33:30I'm talking about Lana.
33:38You don't like it.
33:41How did you like it?
34:17When you look at a blank piece of paper and you start writing this stuff out, or now on a
34:23computer screen or on your phone, however you write things, I still look at a blank piece of paper.
34:29And then you start to put the elements together and then, oh, and then this twist and this turn.
34:34And then you see it happen in front of your eyes and it plays out in front of a live
34:38audience with millions watching at home and however many in the arena watching it live.
34:42And the oohs and the ahs and the twists and the turns and it plays out as well as it
34:47did.
34:48And Liv and Lana delivering the way that they did.
34:53And that's a high that you get as a writer, director, producer, whatever the title is, that is afforded in
35:03the genre of entertainment that to this day I haven't been able to convey to anybody that hasn't lived it
35:11themselves.
35:14I got told, you know, we're going with, like, Liv is undefined.
35:17She's an undefined character.
35:19As we kept going, I kind of lost more and more sight of who I was supposed to be.
35:27I'm getting the most spotlight I've ever gotten since I've been signed.
35:31This is not the time to, you know, not look confident or strong on TV, but it was very hard
35:36just because I just didn't believe in myself.
35:39Some of you saw the news broken earlier today via WWE social and digital platforms.
35:44WrestleMania this year, two weeks from Sunday, April 5th, will not be taking place in Tampa, Florida at Raymond James
35:49Stadium.
35:50Instead, it will emanate live here from WWE's training facility, the WWE Performance Center.
35:56WrestleMania, with a crowd in the arena it was supposed to be in, was not going to happen anymore because
36:03we are not allowed to have an audience.
36:05So WrestleMania is completely reworked, and we're having it at the Performance Center with no one there.
36:15My colleagues have a little in front of you.
36:18WrestleMania pre-show match that I just found out about, about yesterday.
36:23I just had a match with Natty, and, um, Natty's always been so helpful and so gracious, and, um, she's
36:30a great teacher, you know?
36:32So, she just gave me my first WrestleMania picture.
36:35It's pretty sweet.
36:37It doesn't even feel real.
36:38It doesn't even feel real.
36:39I'm just thankful.
36:42It's cool.
36:43When I think about how far I've come, I think that's what just keeps me so grateful, and I think
36:47it keeps me, like, grateful to a fault a little bit, you know?
36:50I'm just happy to have my dream job.
36:52It's always worth it, I feel like.
36:54It's always worth it because it's the journey, you know?
36:59This is the journey.
37:01I mean, I guess some people would like showing up or then just being pushed to the destination, you know
37:07what I mean?
37:07Like, I'm showing up, and I think I'm crawling.
37:10I'm crawling to the destination.
37:12It's going to be a steady crawl, and it's going to be a consistent crawl.
37:15It'll keep me moving forward, and then eventually I'll be at the finish line.
37:19It's consistent, and I'm trusting the journey, and I'm trusting the process, and I'm going to crawl.
37:26I don't need to run.
37:26I'm going to crawl.
37:27But I'm going to get there, and it's going to be worth it, and it's going to be earned, so
37:30it's all good.
37:41From wrestling in my backyard to the grandest stage at Wrestlemania, from the beginning, this journey has always been about
37:51one thing.
37:53So, I do have four older brothers, one older sister, one younger sister.
38:01It just really makes, you know, being here so special to me, and I just want to be great, and
38:11I want to do so well here.
38:14I want to make my family proud.
38:16They need someone to make them proud.
38:19I'm just really grateful to be here.
38:27The sky's the limit, and she's going to make it happen.
38:34Remember me telling you this?
38:40Definitely.
38:48It's all you, Gianna.
38:54And your family will always love you, no matter what.
39:02When Gianna was born, she was born early.
39:07She was born at 28 weeks.
39:10She's my peanut.
39:13It makes me proud that, through it all, she made it.
39:24She made it.
39:30For all the challenges in the last year and a half, I was at peace.
39:37Sometimes life can be funny, and the answer was right in front of me.
39:41My answer?
39:43Maybe what I thought was in the past wasn't ready to be in the past.
39:54But as of recent, we've been given some time to really show what we mean to each other.
40:08Right back to where I started, kind of.
40:10The squad's getting back together.
40:12Ruby and I, at least.
40:13I mean, Sarah's always going to be a squad.
40:16Calling it the Riot Squad without Sarah seems wrong in some way.
40:20But at the same time, I know Sarah is supportive of anything that we do.
40:25Ladies, a little help, please.
40:33I know that now that we are being given the ball, that they're never going to see it again.
40:45Because Liv and I are too hungry to let the Riot Squad fall through the cracks of history.
40:53Like, we're not letting that happen again.
40:57What would 26-year-old Gianna say to 6-year-old Gianna?
41:04I'd say, like, relax.
41:07Be a kid.
41:09Because whether you know it or not, you're going to do everything that you want it to do.
41:14So be a kid.
41:16Don't be scared to smile, make friends, be social, have fun.
41:19It doesn't always need to be the weight of the world on your shoulders.
41:26And you're going to do great things.
41:28You're going to do great things.
41:31And most importantly, you're going to grow up to be a good person.
41:37And you're going to have everything that you wanted.
41:44In the last 18 months, I have grown.
41:48I am more patient.
41:50More confident.
41:51Through the highs and lows, I am still that little girl with a dream.
41:56A dream to save my family.
41:58To break the cycle.
42:00To be a success.
42:02Liv Morgan is here.
42:05Forever.
42:07Riot Squad is going to make history.
42:09We are going to be in the Hall of Fame one day.
42:13Ideally, one day with Sarah.
42:15Again, after she's busy, you know.
42:19Being an amazing mom.
42:20We are going to be something somebody remembers.
42:25Whether they like it or not.
42:28So, this all has kind of come, like, full circle in a weird way.
42:31You know, I started this journey with the Riot Squad.
42:35And I'm kind of ending this odd chapter with the Riot Squad.
42:42There's no way I'd do anything that I didn't believe in.
42:51And now I feel like I have a refresh, because now I'm back at my starting point.
42:56I have a rare opportunity to rewrite history.
43:02I'm right back to where I started.
43:05So now, where I go from here, I can make it whatever I want it to be.
43:13I'm right back to where I want it to be.
43:13I'm right back to where I want it to be.
43:14I'm right back to where I want it to be.
43:16I'm right back to where I want it to be.
43:17I'm right back to where I want it to be.
43:17I'm right back to where I want it to be.
43:19I'm right back to where I want it to be.
43:22You
