00:05Hi there, how are you doing? It's Tom Dumont here. I just wanted to say hi. The last couple of
00:11months I'm getting ready for the No Doubt Sphere shows. It's been very fun looking through old footage and looking
00:20at old photographs and relearning old songs and rehearsing and creating all the video stuff for the screens of the
00:28Sphere.
00:30It's kind of made me think about how grateful I am for the life I've gotten to lead as a
00:38musician all these years.
00:40And it's thanks to our families and our friends and listeners and you and everyone who's come to our shows
00:49over the years. Thank you.
00:50The other thing I wanted to talk about was my health. So a number of years ago, I was experiencing
00:57a number of symptoms.
00:59I went to my doctor. I went to a neurologist and I did a whole bunch of tests and I
01:06was diagnosed with early onset Parkinson's disease.
01:10It's been a struggle. It's a struggle every day. And I'll make another video with details about what Parkinson's entails.
01:18The good news is I can still play music. I can still play guitar. I've been doing really well.
01:25And the other thing is I've just been very inspired by so many people who have come out to talk
01:31about their health issues on social media and that sort of thing.
01:35I think it helps erase some of the stigma and it raises awareness, obviously.
01:42And awareness is really important for prevention and for research.
01:49So that's it. I just I'm really excited about the shows. I can't wait to see everybody.
01:54And thank you for listening.
01:57Thank you for listening.
