00:00An escape to the country can be about new experiences.
00:05I'm meant to be the hard man of football.
00:07What are people going to say about me if I walk down the street with a miniature pig?
00:10But there's only so much you can teach an old dog.
00:13Look at this view.
00:18We hope our rural houses will strike the right chord.
00:21Can you hear the acoustics and all that?
00:27Not as good as a fall.
00:29So that when the final whistle goes, it's a home win.
00:32This is escape to the country.
00:34This is a proper escape here.
00:35This is escape to the country.
00:36And I want to escape to the country right now.
00:39There's something soothing, calming, even softening about the countryside.
00:49There's something soothing, calming, even softening about the countryside.
01:02It can make even the hardest of us drop our shoulders, forget about our troubles and relax.
01:09And that's good news as today, I'm going to be helping one of football's original tough guys find a home here.
01:16Ex-England international Neil Razor Ruddock is looking to swap his football boots for a pair of wellies.
01:24The pitch for a vegetable patch, the roar of the crowd for the moo of the cows.
01:31He's no longer chasing down strikers.
01:34His goal now is for him and his family to escape to the country.
01:39Right, come on.
01:40She ain't doing this for the camera, by the way.
01:45No, I'm not.
01:46I always do this.
01:47She does this.
01:48I hoover outside.
01:49I think I'm onto something because when you mow the lawn, it all blows onto the path.
01:52Look how clean it's starting to look.
01:54And she'll move the ant off the bar while I'm doing that.
01:57No, but I hoovered one up and I opened it and I got him out when he was still alive, thank God.
02:00Missed a bit over here, love.
02:02Yeah.
02:04Neil, or to give him his official title, football hard man Neil Razor Ruddock,
02:10and his house proud wife Leah, a model and TV personality,
02:14currently live in the Kent town of Ashford.
02:17And while she's all for saving creepy crawlies, they're Neil's Achilles heel.
02:22There's two things I'm really scared of. Heights.
02:25I don't mind spiders.
02:26And spiders.
02:27There's a spider in the house.
02:28Leah! Leah!
02:29What about the one in there last week?
02:30The spider wouldn't be, what you looking at?
02:32It was that big.
02:34What's the odds with the straw roof things?
02:36Oh, erm.
02:37Come on.
02:38Thatch houses.
02:39Thatch roof house.
02:40Yeah.
02:41Too many spiders to me.
02:42Oh, but they're lovely.
02:43I know you like them but spiders.
02:44Well if we see one that we like, I'm sorry.
02:45Yeah, well you've got to be a spider aren't they?
02:47I am anyway.
02:48Alright.
02:49Whether it's thatched or not, they're hoping a new home in the countryside will give them and teen daughters Pebbles and Kizzy,
02:56as well as the five dogs, a quieter way of life.
03:00Good girls.
03:01Well, sort of.
03:02Come on.
03:03Yay!
03:04Yay!
03:05Oh!
03:06We've always lived in a far side, so it'd be nice to calm down, a nice little village.
03:09Bird singing.
03:10Bird singing and smell of cow poo.
03:13We like the smell.
03:14When we're driving around the country, we like the smell of cow dung.
03:17Yeah.
03:18There's one way to guarantee that.
03:20What animals would you like?
03:22Pigs.
03:23Yeah, alright.
03:24Sheep.
03:25Goats.
03:26They can mow the lawn.
03:27They're crazy.
03:28Then I don't...
03:29Oh!
03:30Then I don't get to mow the lawn!
03:31Yes, we're doing it!
03:32Yes, we're going to do it!
03:34Goats.
03:35You're going to have some goats.
03:36We can have some goats.
03:37Donkeys.
03:38Rescue donkeys.
03:39What about a Rudolph?
03:41What's a Rudolph?
03:43A deer.
03:44Rudolph's aren't just for Christmas.
03:48Having styled their current home to within an inch of its wallpaper,
03:52most of Leah's decor will come with them.
03:55My style would be very vibrant.
03:59Very what?
04:00Eclectic.
04:01What's it called?
04:02Eclectic.
04:03No, not eclectic.
04:04I don't know what it's called.
04:05Eclectic.
04:06Eclectic.
04:07Oh, stop it!
04:10What is it again?
04:11Yeah, anyway.
04:12It's very what?
04:13Eclectic.
04:16But Neil does have his own space that he'd like to replicate.
04:19This is my den.
04:20This is my sanctuary.
04:21This is where I come to have peace and quiet from the family.
04:24Wherever we go, I need a place like this.
04:27And they're hoping to leave one thing behind.
04:30We've got a ghost in this house, or many.
04:33It's built on an Iron Age burial.
04:35Number one, non-believer.
04:37Until a wooden thing flew off the wall and hit us.
04:41Yeah, it did.
04:42And I swear, someone said hello in my ear.
04:46And there was no one there.
04:48So, we're looking for a ghost-free house that smells of cow poo.
04:53But in case I missed anything else, here's the rundown.
05:01For their family home in the countryside, Neil and Leah are after a detached four-bedroom property.
05:07He'd like a man-den for his memorabilia and an open-plan kitchen for entertaining.
05:12The garden should be big enough for the five dogs and maybe some extra animals for Leah.
05:18For all this, they are prepared to look at properties up to £850,000.
05:30It looks like I've still got a few things to manage when it comes to Reza and Leah's dream country escape.
05:36But, thankfully, they are on the same team when it comes to Kent being their preferred location.
05:43And, after all, that's fine with me, because this is my home turf.
05:49Reza and Leah want to remain close to friends and family in the Garden of England,
05:53a county which lies on England's south-east coast.
05:57But they're hoping to transfer from the busy town of Ashford
06:00and sign for a quiet Kentish village.
06:03The average price of a detached house across Kent is £603,000,
06:09well above the national figure of £441,000.
06:13But, as Reza knows, the marquee signings are worth the big bucks.
06:18Running through the heart of the county, from the white cliffs of Dover to the fringe of London,
06:26is the Kent Downs National Landscape, boasting woodland, orchards, ragstone villages, vineyards and more.
06:35It's no wonder it has such a huge fan base of all kinds of species.
06:41I do love coming back to Kent.
06:44The scenery is perfection, and the wildlife, something else.
06:51Is that a razor bill I can see?
06:55Hi, Nicky. So lovely to see you.
06:57Lovely to meet you. Oh, there we go.
06:59This is a good sign. Good one. Good one.
07:01Are you both excited? So excited.
07:03So excited.
07:04Because you live in Kent, I'm from Kent.
07:06Are you?
07:07Yeah.
07:08What about?
07:09North. North Kent.
07:10I'm from Hearn Bay, by the coast.
07:11Very nice.
07:12So, my question to the two of you is, how well do you know the Kent countryside?
07:16Not well. We know Lear's from Hastings.
07:19I grew up in Ashford, so we know the towns.
07:21We know Maidstone, Canterbury, Tentendon, a big village, which is a town really.
07:25So, we don't really know the villages.
07:27Let's show you some beautiful countryside and then you can decide, can't you?
07:31Yes, we can.
07:32Now, before we start, question.
07:33You have a little bit of a reputation as a tough guy.
07:36I am...
07:37I think it's quite a big reputation, actually.
07:38I knew I was going to get it wrong.
07:40Slightly nervous to start off with.
07:42Are we going with Neil, Razor or Mr Ruddock?
07:45Razor's good, Razor's good.
07:47Neil's when I'm in trouble.
07:48If I'm out of line, call me Neil, then I'll jump back into line.
07:51My handbrake's with me.
07:53When your handbrake's with me, I'm behaviour.
07:55She's going to be guiding you on these house tours around this countryside.
08:00I'm so looking forward to showing you in this county.
08:02Yeah, I am.
08:03So excited.
08:04Shall we get started?
08:05Come on then.
08:08We're kicking off our search to the north of the county in the village of Bredgar.
08:13It's a peaceful setting complete with a duck pond for animal lover Lear.
08:17And Russia has the agricultural aromas they're both craving.
08:28So here is our first property to show you.
08:32Wow.
08:33Mmm.
08:34Looks lovely.
08:35Doesn't it?
08:36Does look nice.
08:37I absolutely love the sash windows.
08:39That's one of my favourite things.
08:41Is it?
08:42It's pretty, isn't it?
08:43It's so pretty.
08:44With the weatherboarding, do they get dirty?
08:46Are they hard to keep on top of?
08:48No.
08:49Really easy.
08:50It gives it charm and character.
08:51It's very particular around here.
08:52You'll see a lot of weatherboarding.
08:53Yeah, I see you do see a lot when you're driving around Kent.
08:55You do see a lot of these.
08:56Look at this.
08:57It used to be.
08:58Oh wow.
08:59Oh wow.
09:00The village shop.
09:01Wow.
09:02That's amazing.
09:03I love it.
09:04That's Razor with the hat on it.
09:05Yeah, there's me.
09:06There's you.
09:07I love that.
09:08You smile a bit more now.
09:09There's a telephone box got them.
09:10There's a telephone box.
09:11Wow.
09:12I'm guessing it was still a shop in the 70s.
09:15I'm all for character and history and I love all that.
09:18Yeah.
09:19Is that what you make of the inside?
09:20Yeah.
09:21Let's go and have a look.
09:22I can't wait.
09:23Come on.
09:24This former village shop opened in 1827 and was extended five years ago.
09:29But we're starting in the original part.
09:34So step inside.
09:37Ooh.
09:38Wow.
09:39I love it.
09:40You've got everything in here I know you love.
09:43Open plan kitchen.
09:44Yep.
09:45Open fire.
09:46Yep.
09:47Sash windows.
09:48He knows you, Lea, so well.
09:49Tick, tick, tick.
09:50Yeah.
09:51And I love beams.
09:52Why would you want to sell this house?
09:53It's a beautiful house.
09:54It's beautiful.
09:55And the current owners have done so much work to it.
09:59It's lovely.
10:00It is so lovely.
10:01Well done to you, current owners.
10:03Well done to you.
10:04You've got a lovely house.
10:05Yeah.
10:06I know we've literally just walked through the door, but everything so far, I'm absolutely
10:10loving.
10:11You know what impression I've got?
10:12Go on.
10:13If this was one of my mate's house and I walked in here, I'd be jealous.
10:16That's good.
10:17That's how nice I think this is.
10:18That's good.
10:19It's beautiful.
10:20I love that line.
10:21I'd be jealous of them.
10:22I love it.
10:23So far, I love it.
10:24And I want my mate to be jealous.
10:26Oh, that's so good.
10:27So much space.
10:28Well, let's continue, shall we, through here.
10:30Is this a Kitchen of Dreams?
10:31Oh, it's...
10:32Same as ours.
10:33Same as ours.
10:34Definitely a Kitchen of Dreams.
10:35Yeah, it is.
10:36Same colours, same...
10:37And do you know what I love?
10:38When I go in old hours, I'm going to bang my head, but it's quite high ceilings.
10:41Yeah, because you're tall.
10:42How tall are you?
10:43Six foot three.
10:44Six foot three.
10:45Yeah.
10:46Six foot three without your heels on.
10:47Yeah.
10:48Six foot seven, normally.
10:50So lovely.
10:51This is lovely.
10:52And you wanted one of these, didn't you?
10:54I love the island.
10:55We love it.
10:56I love an island.
10:57Can I point out just a little touch in this kitchen?
11:00The rounded edges.
11:01Yes, what have you got?
11:02Yeah.
11:03I really love that.
11:04It's for kids when they come in and don't bang their heads.
11:06Oh, for you too.
11:07Mmm.
11:08Yeah, they don't bang your whatnot.
11:10Who does the cooking?
11:12Well, when you say that, I'm not allowed to cook because I make too much mess.
11:16I'm the best cook.
11:17Oh, okay.
11:18Modest.
11:19A modest chef.
11:20It's hard to be humble when you're as good as a cook as me.
11:22But he's a messy cook.
11:23No, I'm saying.
11:24I'm a messy cook.
11:25I could cook in the old kitchen to let me mess away.
11:27Yeah.
11:28But new kitchen.
11:29She gets in.
11:30Yeah.
11:31Am I getting the impression that we've got to have a second kitchen?
11:33Oh, I wish.
11:34Oh, God.
11:35What's with that being?
11:36Not with a den.
11:37Your own kitchen?
11:38Could you imagine?
11:39Not with a den.
11:40Could you imagine his own kitchen?
11:41Not with a den.
11:42Well, let's see.
11:43Oh, no, come on.
11:44We've got options.
11:45You've got a problem.
11:46You've got a problem.
11:47I've got a big problem.
11:48No way.
11:49Come and have a look.
11:50No way.
11:51Off the kitchen is a utility room with a shower that leads to the garage.
11:56Oh, yeah.
11:57Yes.
11:58Big.
11:59You could easily convert this into a sort of semi-outside kitchen if you wanted your own.
12:03Yes.
12:04But we have to sort out the den, don't we?
12:06If you want to follow me.
12:08Oh.
12:09Oh.
12:10And the winding staircase.
12:13Oh.
12:14Razor's Den.
12:15day this is what it's all about look at that view oh wow basically you can have a kitchen
12:23downstairs so we just bored myself there and this is sure i live in here yeah when you drive me mad
12:34the bedrooms are all upstairs in the main house so this oh oh this is nice it's the main bedroom
12:40look i love this nice and bright i'm sweet oh not with this you've got the guest room which has got
12:50the ensuite i'm not allowed to use it anyway why because it's hers yes there you go as long as you
12:58keep it clean i prefer downstairs and upstairs only the only problem for me is is the size of the doors
13:06yeah that would be a problem you've got to be careful if you buy this property your housewarming
13:11gift will be plasters yeah you'll wake up and you'll be on the floor there would be yeah
13:18there are four bedrooms in total pebbles ensuite ensuite kisses they can share the ensuite
13:25and that's when you come home late so that'll be yours all the time probably that's it sorted
13:30but outside the garden includes two entertaining areas
13:41and enough room for the dogs to stretch their legs all 20 of them that's legs not dogs
13:51so it's a very pretty landscape gardens lots of mature plants and trees yeah i love that
13:57good size i love trees it's really pretty i love this i love the island i think i think the garden
14:02all the barbecue just see the barbecue so i could cook there there you go you see i can make a mess
14:06out here oh yes you can make the door the door from the den straight to the barbie straight to the
14:10den see exactly what do we think on the price wow oh um
14:16seven hundred what do you go on and fifty thousand wow i'm hoping that's six three five no way
14:31kent is quite a spicy county exactly when it comes to pricing asking price is eight hundred thousand
14:37homes i was hoping i was hoping i was really hoping that it would be yeah that's an interesting
14:43reaction and that's also an interesting guesstimate yeah because if you've been looking around i'm not
14:49sure how much no research you've done we've only we've only online we haven't this could be the reality
14:54check there because it is a beautiful home a rare wide miss from rosa this former village shop has been
15:02elegantly renovated and extended but while downstairs is a winner with the couple they feel the upstairs
15:09doorways come up short the open plan did it for me i love that kitchen magnificent yeah like home
15:17from home love that room for a den yeah you've got your own bit it's like a butterfly garden and it's
15:23beautiful loads of butterflies loads of flowers yes we're surrounded by trees which is one of my main
15:27things i love trees don't i so but yeah it's just the upstairs
15:42before there was razor there was neil born in the south london borough of wandsworth
15:49by the age of 14 he was playing for millwall's youth team and went on to run out for spurs liverpool
15:56west ham crystal palace and england's national side
16:05so race i've got to ask what was it like running onto the pitch at wembley and everybody screaming
16:12your name it is i look at it now i think i used to do that but at the time i mean i left school
16:17become a footballer that's all you knew so there weren't no nerves you know you had nervous energy
16:22no you never go because that's what you've done this that's the only thing i knew was being a
16:25footballer running onto a football pitch but i go and watch it now and think i used to do that
16:30i can't believe now that i never used to get nervous and had you not been a footballer yeah
16:35what do you think you would have ended up doing i'd be my brothers and me you know my dad they're all
16:39shop fitters god what a different life you would have had yeah i wouldn't be i wouldn't have met you
16:43wouldn't have met me wouldn't have met you what a quiet life i'd have had
16:52we're taking the team bus just a short distance to the village of hartlip
16:57there's been a chapel here for around a thousand years and the present church originated in the 13th
17:03century it's said to have a secret tunnel leading to the pub and maybe neil could add another one to
17:10his den as the next house is just around the corner
17:18loving the location i like it
17:19no i'm loving the location nothing to do with a pub you were looking at the fields and the horses
17:28weren't you really do that pub i like the corner plot yeah like that yes yeah we've sort of taken
17:33you still into a semi-rural location you've got more of a village community around you with the pub
17:38and there's facilities here as well but again you've only got to look out of your windows yes it's
17:43beautiful that view and you see the countryside what about the physical look of the house i like it it's
17:49very nice yeah yeah i love the look of the house it's big lovely location i can't wait to get
17:54inside yeah it's very interesting well let's take a look shall we let's go this house along with the
18:01rest of the close was built on farmland 25 years ago this is lovely yeah so to our left we have ray's

24:39price of this five bedroom home i think this is 975 you won't get a lot under a million pound i'm gonna
24:46say 925 quick because i'm scared okay the asking price is 850 000 pounds is it wow is it yeah community

25:02once you might have mentioned it a few more times yeah how many times is there a pub yet
25:07you've got a lovely view both guesses well out but in the best way with a den outside bar and a pub
25:15across the road this house was always going to be a hit but the stylish kitchen light sitting room and
25:21five bedrooms got it over the line i could just imagine sitting out here in in the rain having a
25:27cup of coffee with the kids playing cards where am i you're over the road court of course in the pub
25:33yeah you can go there as long as much as you want excuse me yeah you can did you see that did you

25:58they say football is a game of two halves but for razor perhaps his life has been in thirds
26:05there was the football hard man chapter followed by the party animal chapter and now he's entering a new
26:12gentler chapter with leah and his daughters
26:20we've had a brilliant day today haven't we yeah really really enjoyable but just for a moment i want
26:26to take us away from property really and talk about you because you've had an incredible what the last
26:31five six years yeah well i mean it was it was a great guy had a great career um you know and i think
26:38about football i mean you you're in public eye you know for nearly 20 odd years and all of a sudden
26:43it stops and i don't think anyone's well i wasn't especially anyone's prepared i don't think football
26:48clubs prepare or give you education how to live your life after that month into retirement i just didn't
26:54know what to do you know you i didn't prepare myself so you know i used uh in the end i knew what pub
26:59would be monday tuesday wednesday thursday friday said i know what pub well the most people would be
27:04most lads are in there and i used to that was that was my sort of the snowball effect of uh of
27:11drinking it just wanted to be surrounded by lads at what point do you think i'm gonna have to put a
27:15stop to this no i couldn't walk 100 yards without feeling faint you know i'd gone to 28 odd stone i went
27:21to see a specialist and he told me you know raise you two months you could be gone mate and so you
27:28know i got rushed into hospital and in the end that stopped my heart it's basically killed me
27:33restart my heart so to get it you know regulating to normal normal beats all 60 to 70. then i had
27:39to have a pacemaker fitted um i'd given up you know i couldn't be bothered you know i didn't have
27:44bad things in about ending my life it was in my head as if if i die i'd die you know that's how tired

38:29this is my favorite house we've been to can you hear the acoustics and all that in it
38:36not as good as a fault
38:42it's clear they're already feeling at home
38:45razor yes sweetheart get me a coffee i'm doing the invoices i'm busy in my office two minutes
38:51sweetheart love you hurry the garden covers almost half an acre and includes entertaining space as well
38:59as use of part of the barn giving plenty of scope for leah's menagerie aspirations
39:04so you've seen the house what's the price i'm gonna say nine hundred and fifty thousand wow
39:15razor eight four five no eight four five all the chips are going in eight four five the asking price
39:23is eight hundred and fifty thousand pounds no after failing so badly at the beginning he's pulled it back
39:30i told you i'm a second half player always very well second half that's been a great host
39:37time to say goodbye
39:40see you soon bye
39:44this 19th century oast house offers four bedrooms but it's the knockout features like the open plan
39:50living space the soundproof den and the potential for horses or other animals that i think make this
39:57a front runner it's beautiful this is a dream home isn't it it is it's just stunning this is escape
40:04to the country animals animals on your doorstep yeah loads of all loads of surrounded by beautiful
40:09greenery and trees this is the best house ever by far
40:22one of the things leah wants most from this move is the opportunity to have more animals but first
40:33she'll need to win round razor yeah the whole idea is we bring razor here yep he loses his heart to all
40:40these amazing animals and then you can get more animals in your new home and the range of cuties here
40:47at huckleberry woods in faversham is bound to persuade him no i love animals but don't i think
40:53they're messy they stink and they're hard to look after and because some of my friends
40:58i'd be married to me i suppose
41:04it's important to wear the right attire on the farm but someone's rocking big eyelashes and leopard print
41:11oh my gosh look at his hat i think the best place to soften that hard man exterior
41:19might be with the south town baby doll sheep also known as teddy bear sheep
41:24come on then look how good are they oh look i really love it give him some give him some oh look
41:33they're so sweet yeah mate no they are so don't get i can't help it hold hold the bucket razor have
41:39some of these hold the bucket look look look look look look wow you're seeing you know what you're
41:46already seeing the soft side look i love this yeah i can i drive with these and mad dogs actually when
41:56we caught you off guard you were in the zone i was there you were there you could call the mountain
42:02deck yeah love animals it's just i think they'd be hard work but these are not hard work say the same
42:07about you yes exactly i can just see this in the morning you feeding them you'd love it i wouldn't mind
42:13these actually you love them they're very i do love them he loves it but they're so gentle you see
42:18you're feeding too you're going to buy now get out of the way they're mine here mush come here son
42:23they're mine now here mush yeah mush mush scientists say working with nature can make people less stressed
42:30so we've arranged a little job for razer oh i can sense the tension easing away even a turkey's laughing
42:49at me while razer gets his chill on leah's calming herself in the pig parlour oh look minnie's loving this
42:58oh look at that little spiky hair it's like razer's beard wow hello minnie we're gonna have to get
43:06pigs as well pigs are highly intelligent and can be trained like dogs and then you say minnie sit no
43:13way you haven't got a pig that's it and then jump no way and then spin and then just no i can't believe
43:20oh no no no and if you think that's impressive i give you ludwig van beethoven ready play the piano oh
43:37good boy and again good boy bandit wow wow amazing it's obviously twinkle twinkle little
43:45star it is twinkle twinkle little star the people that can't hear that are mad because i can hear it
43:49good boy and again i've sat through worse auditions as for the donkeys they're known for being stubborn
43:56but they do it with a smile show us your teeth yeah no way no way show us your nashers duke show us your
44:05nashers go on yeah i love it and from nashers to rashers sorry rodney hold up come here rodney this
44:19way mate come on whoa all right rodney thing is i it's not a good look i'm meant to be the hard man
44:26of football what people are going to say about me if i walk down the street with a mini miniature pig
44:30listen rodney come on mate you look great do you think so yeah fashion statement leah knows just
44:36what he likes to hear this is what life's going to be we're going to be going walkie porky pigs
44:42this looks like it's been a huge success i love it i'm really enjoying myself i knew you'd lose your
44:47heart coming here but the fact that razor is in his element yeah this is a whole new lifestyle for
44:52the two of you i do love it no i do really enjoy myself yeah i do love it is this going to be the
44:57future i don't know if i would walk a pig again i do like pigs i think the pig's walking you i saw
45:03you see smiling to yourself with the pig just a minute ago we've got one haven't we yeah did you
45:08get it on camera oh we've definitely seen it on camera too late no i'm really i'm enjoying this
45:12it's been a good day it's been great it's been it's so lovely here i'm definitely noticing a new side to
45:18razor i just hope it hasn't gone too far my new friend
45:33as we head towards the final whistle we're bringing our star player off the bench in the
45:48county's northern village of doddington there's a 14th century pub that offers food and live music
45:54and less than a mile from it in a conservation area is our last property
46:04it's mystery house time and this one well it's not a plum but it certainly is a peach take a look for
46:12yourself razor associates thatch ruse with his biggest fear spiders but we're hoping that with
46:21lear to hold his hand he'll be able to appreciate this grade two listed 15th century cottage constructed
46:28with a mix of oak frame wattle and daub and brick
46:34although that light might freak him out so no one mention our eight-legged friends
46:42oh oh
46:43spiders my goodness that was quick wow that is so sweet that's a fat truth isn't it that is beautiful
46:53actually that's a picture isn't it amazing that's so pretty how old do you think this property is 15
47:00something something might be 14 what's the summit no 1565 1585 wrong oh not 14 no way i was gonna say
47:14that yes it predates the tudor period 1480 oh i should have gone with my gut the majority of that house
47:23so they've been extended the modern extension was in the victorian era no way oh wow how clever were
47:30they back then very it's unbelievable because it's still standing you think what's that scene in its
47:35lifetime it's amazing it looks absolutely stunning it is beautiful intrigued to look around i can't wait
47:42nikki excellent come on let's go over 500 years ago as the wars of the roses period was concluding
47:50the builders of this picture-perfect cottage could frankly never have imagined that one day i'd be
47:57showing razer and leah around for the nation's entertainment they'd have found it as unbelievable
48:03as a pig playing the piano
48:10that's stepping back in time wow look at this this is amazing not your average hallway is it it's really
48:19look at this is this all original yep i love this outside tiles because the animals would have been
48:24through here yeah wow ready to see more yeah okay mind your head oh wow look at this
48:36is that a five it is oh wow there you go we spotted it straight there you go oh look there you go
48:44i'll stand his hand i can't help it i know you're laughing at me but i can't help it i am giggling
48:53because look at this house even though it is centuries and centuries old it's so beautifully done we're
48:59going to call this razer's den is this the den this is the den stop it no way is this i thought this
49:06was the main area this would be the poshest den you'll have a visit no way the oldest poshest
49:13stop it this is your day the old day i can't wait to see my room that's normally my title oldest poshest
49:18but i'll let the den have it the old day the old day i thought i'd say it before he did yeah the old
49:22den yeah do you like it i like it now this is your den yeah though it is nice razer could definitely
49:30make his friends jealous of that den so what do we have for leah oh this is my room this is step inside
49:38angle nook i love this this is so me that's a goal we can play football in a palace love it love it look
49:47all the brickwork and the stonework i love this it's a nice big old room innit can you imagine
49:52christmas in here with the twinkly lights table set christmas tree christmas tree fabulous christmas
49:58treats i've got it all in my head what do you think you're slightly quieter for you it's the doors
50:05again for me innit yeah he's only putting a downer on it because he's worried about the spiders and the
50:10spiders oh i have to say that it is grade two listed is it yes i mean all this work has been done
50:16already so you don't really need to do anything but when it comes to altering doorways and things
50:21like that you would need to consult exactly can you not just do this exactly just punch down i'll put
50:29a sign duck and then you will we'll put a little padding up there for you so yeah one problem solved
50:37and we've also come up with a solution for razer being too messy for leah's kitchen
50:42there's two kitchens go on nikki there's two kitchens no one there's oh wow this is okay your
50:53kitchen my kitchen hang on this is bigger this is my kitchen yeah this is your kitchen we've got our own
50:58kitchens neil face we've got our own kitchens can i say something razor we've got our own kitchens
51:03look at this what's only one cooker but yeah we can make a mess i'll make an allowance if you keep it
51:11clean we've been outside this character you wouldn't expect to walk into a modern kitchen like this
51:15that's unbelievable it is isn't it the same exacting two kitchens oh is it same kitchen is it oh look at the
51:22larder oh it won't be long no nice sink butler sink butler not belfast it's a butler butler there we go
51:31well done give me yeah he knows this stuff have you you're super excited i'm always excited
51:39razor can see the potential of it i'm gonna have to make my mind up after i've seen upstairs okay i'm
51:45going to give you a slight health and safety warning yeah you might need to be on your hands
51:52and knees for a couple of them oh no that's all right yeah i'm not i'm not harking back to the old
