00:01Well, the Governor-General, Sam Mostyn, has described those eight recipients of those
00:06bravery awards as displaying incredible courage and selflessness in the face of unspeakable
00:13circumstances.
00:14This is the second anniversary of the Bondi Junction stabbing attack in which Joel Couchy

00:42Now, we understand that Detective Amy Scott, who was the New South Wales police officer

00:52bravery award as well as Ashley Good, the 38-year-old mother who tragically died trying to defend
00:59her nine-month-old baby from Joel Couchy.
01:02We also have Silas Depreau and Damien Gero.
01:06They were two Frenchmen who essentially confronted Joel Couchy with bollards in the moments after
01:13that attack began.
01:14There were also two security guards who responded to what we heard from the inquest was described
01:21as a code black shortly after the alarm had gone out about that ongoing attack.
01:27Those were Faraz Tahir, who tragically lost his life, as well as Mohamed Taha, who has actually
01:34spoken to the ABC and really spoken about that ongoing trauma.
01:40And that's even something that we've heard from the Governor-General Sam Mostyn.
