00:05So Heidi, you're participating in the world's greatest shave today, how do you feel about
00:09chopping off your beautiful long hair? I'm actually really excited, I feel super honoured
00:14and really grateful that there's foundations like these that allow me to show my support
00:20and my fight alongside the families that need it the most. I think with everything going on
00:25in the world that it's more than ever important that we show our support for one another
00:29and just that pure kindness for each other. Beautiful. So can you tell us about why did
00:35you decide to participate in the world's greatest shave today? I decided to participate in the
00:40world's greatest shave because I wanted to honour my nana who sadly passed away from leukaemia.
00:45Seeing what she went through and what my mum went through with four young children,
00:49that really stuck by me and I just wanted to show my support. I love that. So tell me,
00:55what are you doing today for the world's greatest shave? I am cutting a full bob for the world's
00:59go to shave and I'm donating my hair. I love that. And so can you tell us a little bit
01:06about you're
01:06donating your hair to be made into a wig? So I'm donating my hair to sustainable salons to,
01:12they will turn my hair into a wig for someone that needs it most. I love that.
01:18Right. Um, what else do we got? What else do we got? Do we ever need to get anything else?
01:22You just nailed it. Sorry, I stumbled some words. You just nailed it so easily that...
01:28Do you want to do another... Oh, can you tell... I know, I know, I know. We've got to get
01:32the thing
01:32about beautiful mum taking part as well. So Heidi, you're not the first person in your family to
01:37take part in the world's greatest shave. Can you tell us about your other family members?
01:40Whose footsteps you're following in? I'm actually the last family member to take place in the world's
01:46greatest shave. My siblings and my mum and dad have taken place. So it's definitely my turn.
01:51We've raised actually over $60,000 as a family for the world's greatest shave. And I think that's
01:57something so I'm proud of. And I know my Nana would be proud of as well. Absolutely. How much are
02:02you
02:02hoping to raise through your own world's greatest shave? I'm hoping to raise and hit the target of
02:06$15,000. We're nearly there. We're at $13,600. So we're so close. And how are you feeling about
02:13chopping off your locks today? I feel so honoured. I'm so glad that if someone is wanting to feel
02:18more like themselves, that my hair can help them do that. Oh my gosh, you need to be a mediator.
