Furioza 2 keeps the same nasty energy. After a murder, Golden steps into the leadership role of the notorious Furioza gang, and the plan isn’t just “more trouble locally.” No, it quickly turns outward. Suddenly the violence and the schemes cross borders, because apparently staying in one place would be too boring.

What really makes it fun is the pressure coming from the law side, too. A female cop blackmails her ex’s brother with jail time unless he spies on a hooligan gang. So you’ve got criminals leveling up and someone trying to turn a messy situation into an intelligence operation. Spoiler: it won’t stay tidy for long. This is chaos with a purpose, and the purpose is making sure everyone loses.

Mehr Furioza, mehr Ärger, weniger Ausreden. Nach einem Mord übernimmt Golden die Führung der berüchtigten Gang und merkt ziemlich schnell: Mit Ärger im eigenen Viertel ist es nicht genug. Also wird das Ganze größer, dreckiger und grenzüberschreitend. Weil warum sollte man bei Gewalt klein bleiben, wenn man auch international eskalieren kann.

Und als wäre das nicht schon eine Einladung zum Chaos, kommt zusätzlich die Perspektive einer Beamtin ins Spiel, die offenbar genau weiß, wie man Druck aufbaut. Blackmail ist das Spielzeug, die Drohung mit Haft die Spielregel. Ob das moralisch ist, fragt man in solchen Filmen natürlich nicht. Man schaut nur zu, wie alles kippt.
