Linda is running on fumes, and somehow life keeps adding new problems like it’s a checklist. Her child has a mysterious illness, her husband is absent, and there’s also a missing person situation brewing in the background. That alone would be enough to crack most humans. But then there’s her therapist, and the relationship goes from “helpful professional” to something clearly more hostile, as if therapy starts reflecting back all the dread instead of dissolving it. Meanwhile, Linda tries to keep her life and career together, even as everything around her collapses. It’s tense, awkward, and weirdly sharp, like watching someone argue with the universe and getting out-debated. Yeah, it’s draining. That’s also why it’s good.

Linda steht kurz vor dem kompletten Zusammenbruch. Um sie herum fällt das Leben auseinander, aber sie soll bitte trotzdem funktionieren. Ihr Kind ist mysteriös krank, der Ehemann ist nicht da, irgendwo läuft zudem eine vermisste Person herum. Und als wäre das nicht schon genug, wird auch noch die Beziehung zu ihrer Therapeutin zunehmend… nun ja, feindselig. Nicht dieses gemütliche „Wir reden mal alles aus“-Ding, eher: Was stimmt hier wirklich, und warum hört Linda nicht auf, sich selbst die falschen Antworten zu geben? Der Film macht aus Alltagspanik etwas Unbehagliches, ziemlich witzlos ehrlich. 92% bei Rotten Tomatoes klingen, als hätten alle denselben Kopfdruck gehabt.
