00:03:30I woke up and I just decided I couldn't do it anymore.
00:03:34And that came with the very painful decision of having to step away from everybody I'd known for the past
00:03:4010, 15 years of my life.
00:03:43I lost my entire world overnight.
00:03:47In 2010, looking for a new direction, Lewis spotted a course on how to buy and sell currencies.
00:03:54Trading changed my life and saved my life.

00:25:22I think the main thing really is to get to a teaching assistant job,
00:25:26purely because then it's still within school time. Tell us more about the boys,
00:25:30what do they enjoy other than just being football mad? The boys absolutely adore animals. When we go to
00:25:36the zoo once a year because it's so expensive and they look out for all the big cats.
00:25:40And I know as a mum you want to give your children absolutely anything and everything they could
00:25:45possibly want, and you just can't do that. It's really making me think about the ways in which I
00:25:52can help them eliminate that debt. Just do something to help them not have that burden.

00:26:59And why Grant hasn't managed to get himself a better job. When he lost his teeth,
00:27:03it definitely affected his self-confidence. It's horrible. I would hate it. Day three of their
00:27:09week-long swap. In Grantham, not having a shower is still causing problems. I've got a roll to the
00:27:17side to wash under my arm, then roll to the other side to wash under the other arm. I'm not

00:27:23at baths, it turns out. So, yeah, I don't know how they do this every single day with five of
00:27:28them.

00:31:44Lewis got quite involved in the local church and he was volunteering.
00:31:48He then was struggling with his sexuality and they basically threw him out when they found out.
00:31:53And he'd known these people for a long time. And then as soon as he came out...
00:31:56Came out, that's where.
00:31:58So he then had massive, you know, what the heck was happening in my life? Why am I not accepted?
00:32:05His mother and I both surmised that he may be. He never really sat us down.
00:32:11Can you sort of study this piece for me here?
00:32:14Yeah, I sure can.
00:32:15I chopped this.
00:32:17It's quite eye-opening.
00:32:19Lewis finally came out to find out that everybody in that community then was, like say, pushing him away, pushed
00:32:26him out.
00:32:27How has he gone from, like say, all-time low to now being where he is?
00:32:31I think fundamentally he had all the skill sets, right? Yeah, yeah.
00:32:35To recover. And it took him a little bit of time to do that.
00:32:39He said to me one day, which I eternally regret, I want to borrow £7,000 off your dad.
00:32:44I said, what for?
00:32:45And he said, I want to go on a course to do with finances.
00:32:49And I said, no, I don't want to really, Lewis.
00:32:51I said, just go and get a job.
00:32:54Instead, Lewis took out a £7,000 loan to fund the course he felt sure would change his fortunes.
00:33:01He got more and more into the financial exchange market trading.
00:33:04And now he's doing really, really well and going from strength to strength to strength.
00:33:10It was great to know the background of Lewis and how he's got himself into the trading side of things.
00:33:17I have heard about trading, but I've always thought that's too complicated, you know, out of my reach.
00:33:23And I would love to explore that a little bit more in this week and find out, actually,
00:33:28if it is for anybody and everybody.

00:37:05Lewis is also keen to learn how losing two front teeth has impacted Grant.

00:41:53Because when Lewis started learning how to trade, he knew nothing about trading either.
