Les astronautes américains et canadien d'Artemis II de retour de leur mission-test autour de la Lune font part de leur émerveillement, appelant à l'unité sur Terre après avoir contemplé l'isolement de notre planète, tel un « canot de sauvetage » dans l'espace.

00:0024 hours ago, the earth was that big out the window and we were doing Mach 39 and here we
00:04are back at Ellington at home.
00:07We are bonded forever.
00:09And no one down here is ever going to know what the four of us just went through.
00:13And it was the most special thing that will ever happen in my life.
00:16No one knows what the families went through, man.
00:19This was not easy.
00:21Being 200,000 plus miles away from home.
00:24Like before you launch, it feels like it's the greatest dream on earth.
00:28And when you're out there, you just want to get back to your families and your friends.
00:32It's a special thing to be a human and it's a special thing to be on planet earth.
00:36Thank you.
00:37Even bigger than my challenge trying to describe what we went through, the gratitude of seeing what we saw, doing
00:46what we did and being with who I was with.
00:50It's too big to just be in one body.
00:53So I think I'll start with gratitude.
00:54Gratitude, gratitude for my family, gratitude for NASA, for its leadership, gratitude for Canadian Space Agency, gratitude, gratitude pour les
01:08Canadiennes, les Canadiennes.
01:11And someone asked the question, what makes a crew?
01:14A crew is people or, you know, a group that is in it all the time, no matter what, that
01:25is stroking together every minute with the same purpose, that is willing to sacrifice silently for each other, that gives
01:34grace, that holds accountable.
01:37A crew has the same cares and the same needs.
01:41A crew is inescapably, beautifully, dutifully linked.
01:49So when we saw Tiny Earth, people asked our crew what impressions we had.
01:58And honestly, what struck me wasn't necessarily just Earth.
02:03It was all the blackness around it.
02:08Earth was just this lifeboat hanging undisturbingly in the universe.
02:17I know I haven't learned everything that this journey has yet to teach me.
02:24But there's one new thing I know.
02:27And that is, Planet Earth, you are a crew.
02:33Thank you.
02:40You guys got it.
02:41You guys have got to turn that to the ball.
02:43Merci.
