This time, three sisters return to their old English home for their mother’s third wedding, and you can already feel the tension hiding behind the polite smiles. What starts as a weekend of cake and congratulations turns into a full-on rerun of the past: old losses, unfinished arguments, and decisions that somehow got postponed for years. The house has receipts, and it is not subtle about it. The wedding party also brings a few unexpected distractions, but the real action is between the sisters, where every conversation sounds like a confession waiting to happen. It is funny in a grim way. Not always cozy. But definitely watchable. ---------- Dritte Hochzeit, drittes Drama. Drei Schwestern kehren fürs Wochenende zurück ins alte englische Familienhaus, weil ihre Mutter offensichtlich jedes Mal einen neuen Grund braucht, um ihr ganzes Privatleben auf „Pause“ zu stellen. Klingt erstmal nach Happy End, wird aber schnell ziemlich menschlich. Zwischen Hochzeitsdeko und Blumenkleidern tauchen alte Erinnerungen auf, die man eigentlich in Kartons verstauen wollte. Dazu kommen Konflikte, die sich als Smalltalk tarnen. Und dann wird auch noch klar: Die Feier ist nicht nur ein Fest, sondern ein Abhörgerät für alle ungeklärten Fragen. Wer hier nicht hinschaut, verliert. Also schauen alle. Nur eben mit unterschiedlichen Nerven.
