🌙 Belgrade, gate of the night.
Your streets have hidden my footsteps on my shoes.

How do I lie to myself just to reach you?
The night is cold – too hungry for you.

💨 You passed by – took my gaze,
breathed into my palm, and left a smile.

I can't stop thinking.
I can't fall asleep without dreaming of you.

🎶 My worry, where do I find you?
In which pocket do I warm my hand with you,
while the city lights blind me just when I tremble at the thought of you?

In the city center – you just passed by.
And your scent still lingers.
Chained by it – and the feeling has no key to set me free.

Will you pass again?
I would follow you.

Because the body doesn't lie to the body.
The soul accepts what it already knows.
