00:03The Washington Post reported that you're considering
00:05an arch that's 250 feet high.
00:09Can you talk a little bit about that
00:11and address critics who say
00:12that might be a little bit too large for the space?
00:14We're considering an arch.
00:16It's like the park to triumph in Paris.
00:21So, for 200 years they wanted to build an arch.
00:26There are 57 cities throughout the world that have them.
00:29We're the only major city, Washington, D.C., that does it.
00:33The circle prior to the bridge, you know, the Arlington Bridge,
00:37has been waiting for hundreds of years to have this done.
00:41In fact, there are four eagles that got built.
00:44But it was interrupted by a thing called the Civil War.
00:48And so it never got built.
00:50Then they almost built something in 1902, but it never happened.
00:54So we have an unbelievable park
00:57that I think will be the most beautiful in the world,
01:00being built there, going to be built there.
01:02It's 250 feet.
01:03I don't know what the height is.
01:05It's just appropriate for the site.
01:07We're setting up a committee, and the committee's going to be going over it.
01:11But it'll be substantial.
01:12So I'd like it to be the biggest one of all.
01:15We're the biggest, most powerful nation.
01:17I'd like it to be the biggest one of all.
01:19It's a very exciting job, actually.
01:23They've been waiting for many years, just like the more room.
01:26For 150 years they wanted a more room.
01:29Now we're going to put up the most beautiful more room anywhere in the world, as far as I'm concerned.
01:34And I could have built a much bigger one.
01:38I didn't want to do that.
01:39I want it to be in keeping with, I didn't want it to be taller than the White House, etc.
01:43So I wanted it to be in keeping, but it's a really beautiful building,
01:47done by some of the best architects in the world, the ballroom.
01:52Likewise, the Arc, I think it's going to be great.
01:55We're just setting up a committee now for the Arc.
