EMOTIONAL REUNION OF AN ELDERLY COUPLE AFTER AN ACCIDENT WITH VID By Santiago Hidalgo Check out this heart-warming footage of an elderly couple seeing each other again after being separated into different hospitals for treatment due to an accident. Georgina Coombs, from London, UK, recorded the video of her grandparents when they finally reunited again in Derriford Hospital. The couple, who have been married for 68 years, suffered a serious accident in North Devon that resulted in internal injuries and multiple fractures. However, before long there was a happy ending and they reunited after being together practically all their lives. The video went quickly viral and viewed couldn't get enough of it. Georgina said: "My grandparents were in a terrible me car accident resulting in multiple bone fractures and internal injuries. "They had to be separated into different hospitals for treatment due to Nan’s traumas being too much for the first hospital. "This is their reunion after Grandad was discharged and he came to visit Nan for the first time in her hospital. Emma, a critical care nurse, said: "I had the absolute pleasure of helping to take care of your grandmother - she is an absolute angel and we all loved her tenacity and humour! I’m so so glad to see them back together again!" ENDS
