00:12We first worked on its beloved franchise with Return to Castlevania DLC for Dead Cells.
00:17Since then, we've moved away from our roguelike roots
00:19and have been busy building a brand new 2D action-adventure game.
00:23And I'm speaking for Taniguchi-san from Konami.
00:26My team worked on the Castlevania collections as well as collabs with external studios.
00:31Evil Empire's tribute turned out so good, we really couldn't miss the chance to work with them again.
00:36Together, we're continuing our collaboration for the 40th anniversary of the franchise.
00:41Being a French team, we were arrogant enough to set the game in France.
00:44Except for me, of course, being a humble Englishman.
00:47Now, let me set the scene.
00:52The year is 1499 and Paris has been invaded by Dracula's forces.
00:57As at Belmont, you will hunt down monsters across the city,
01:01scaling the sacred spires of Notre Dame, descending into the skull-lined catacombs,
01:06and duelling corrupted legends like Joan of Arc.
01:10Only the raisin baguettes are missing, but I think you've had enough of that already.
01:14And what will become of Paris when Dracula's castle finally emerges?
