00:03remember this name you're going to be hearing a lot about him in our industry there are one
00:08of a kind scary as ladies and gentlemen and they'll never be another Bob Barker American
00:13thinks he's Santa Claus but backstage whole different thing there was sexual harassment
00:24discrimination and they were just getting away with it and then Bob started having sex with Diane
00:32to add that extra dynamic was like adding fuel to a fire when Bob found out about Diane having
00:40slept with black men the shit hit the thing and Diane goes up the stairs and says I have sucked
00:49his too many times to start kissing his ass now that was the end of Diane Parkinson on the price
00:57is
00:57right she said I'm gonna get my attorney he was sexually harassing me that's when things got even
01:06worse once Diane filed that lawsuit everything changed I was being fired and I would not be
01:16coming back she said hell no Holly's legal battle was epic Holly she's in the ring fighting this
01:26death match with him you already hear some shit I knew Bob was the enemy they were only allowed to
01:37have two black contestants on the show at a time the guts that it took to defend her name against
01:45one of
01:45the most powerful men in the entertainment business they really were the unsung warriors of me too
02:07the quiz show sex scandal that is rocking Hollywood Parkinson alleges sexual harassment but Barker
02:14claims she claims she's a liar when Diane Parkinson sues him for sexual harassment that was significant
02:21because it was the first time that someone really was taking a stand then you also have a willingness of
02:29Bob
02:29Barker to use the media he just went on a full frontal attack to shame her it has been suggested
02:38that since I
02:38terminated this relationship that it might be a bit of the old woman's scorn all you hear left and right
02:47was you know sexual harassment sexual lawsuits and it got to the point where the whole thing turned sour
02:54backstage every time you went to the studio you had to sit with lawyers and all they wanted to hear
03:03was all the bad stuff about Diane and how Bob could not have possibly sexually harassed Diane I wanted
03:14nothing to do with it I was the only one that was asked to give a deposition that did not
03:22I didn't want
03:23to commit felony perjury which is exactly what it would have been if I'd given testimony the fact that Holly
03:30did
03:31not want to testify I think that was a bad choice because if you weren't on team Bob look out
03:43the situation between Bob and Holly was one in which he wanted her support in his legal troubles he
03:50wanted her to back him up and when she didn't do that she was punished that is when Bob Barker
03:58versus
03:58Holly Hallstrom starts so Bob and one of the producers come into my dressing room I was in shock because
04:09Bob would
04:10never come into my dressing room and Bob told me that my weight was a problem and I explained that
04:19I was on a
04:21prescription medication but that my doctor assured me that once my hormones had balanced out the weight gain
04:30would end Bob said well just do whatever it takes to lose the weight I said well that would require
04:37me
04:37going off the medication do you want me to go off the medication he said I just want you to
04:42do whatever it
04:42taste to lose the weight just lose the weight and then Bob told the director I want you to shoot
04:51Holly
04:52differently now only from the head up and only when absolutely necessary and I was cut out of at least
05:0150%
05:01of the show we thought it was kind of odd we knew it wasn't just about the weight they couldn't
05:09use the well
05:10she refused to lie for me excuse to get rid of me so they said it was because of my
05:16weight
05:18that's when I knew I was being set up to be fired
05:23right in the middle of the drama that was happening between Bob and Holly
05:26Diane dropped her lawsuit and again he was making appearances on talk shows the fact that she's
05:33dismissed the lawsuit is total vindication for me when Diane Parkinson dropped her lawsuit against Bob
05:42Barker I wasn't surprised because the powerhouse that she was up against their pockets were endless
05:51and she stepped away the last day anyone on that set saw Diane was the last day she shot prices
06:04right
06:09after that I have never talked to Diane again I have no idea where she is I don't know but
06:17it's entirely
06:18possible that she signed a non-disclosure so she cannot speak so she just disappeared forever
06:40so after Diane got the lawsuit Holly lost the weight but you could feel that Barker was pissed off
06:50that Holly did not give a deposition and he never forgot that after we had wrapped it was late at
07:00night
07:00and Barker and one of the other producers had come into my dressing room again and said my weight was
07:07still a problem and I was going to be taking early retirement when I didn't agree that's when the whole
07:17thing blew up and then the lawyers called me and started negotiating terms of my retirement and I'm
07:28like I don't want to retire there's no need for me to retire but there really was no choice Barker
07:35wanted me gone I was being fired and I would not be coming back after close to 20 years on
07:44the show
07:45it devastated all the fans people who you know really loved me and you can feel that
08:01that's one of the best things about being a celebrity is you can give people excitement and
08:12and make make make a moment special you know and I miss that oh yeah we gotta stop I'm gonna
08:23go in
08:32I hate that man I was young when Holly had her last episode of the price is right
08:47but I think that the people who saw what was going on knew that she was getting screwed keep
08:55in mind that this is one of the most popular people on that show and so the audience is wondering
09:00what's
09:00happening the network put out press releases why Holly was no longer on the show and just said that she
09:09she elected to leave on her own and took her early retirement when Holly heard about that she said hell
09:16no that is not the truth
09:23CBS ran Bob Barker's PR campaign and they were the only people being heard
09:31so I said I'm going to tell somebody the truth I didn't retire I didn't leave and I didn't quit
09:39they kicked me out so Holly Holstrom decides to go on hard copy and tell me exclusively what life was
09:48really like behind those big doors at the price is right and it sounded pretty damn harrowing
09:54after I had gone on hard copy and told everyone the truth I knew he would come after me and
10:05the next
10:05thing you know my lawyers called and said Bob Barker just filed a lawsuit against you for slander
10:13Bible and defamation and after that no one spoke to me no one returned my calls they were just gone
10:24poof it was all gone it was very clear that loyalty was expected and if you didn't provide it you
10:32would be fired because despite all this that was happening Barker's on top of the world this is a guy
10:39who was a national icon he's still so beloved you know all-american game shows looking out for
10:52animals giving everybody a chance and giving them cars it's Barker that's right big bad Barker
11:04that whole world that he lives in just kisses his behind
11:10and now I am so alone gosh so alone and going through the court process by myself it was the
11:22worst
11:22thing in my whole life because with Barker it was just like fighting a giant machine was overwhelming it
11:36stayed that way for a couple years and then one day Linda Riegert she was a production assistant she
11:45called me up and she said Holly I can't stand it anymore and I'm going to tell somebody the truth
11:53because I was there I heard what was said and I know he is lying
12:00Barker wanted her to take early retirement it wasn't a conversation it was a command she was pushed out
12:09my name is Linda Riegert and I worked on the prices right from 1993 to 2000
12:20I started work there when I was about 40 41
12:28that was a dream job for me
12:35Barker always came to me for pretty much everything he always was really good to me
12:40until I overheard those conversations and then everything changed
12:48I would sit in my office it was right next door to Holly's and the walls are very thin
12:54I overheard the very last conversation between them Barker said that wanted her to take early
13:01retirement that she was going to be leaving the show and she said that she had lost most of the
13:05way
13:06I couldn't believe what I was hearing nobody knew that I was in there and now I had a problem
13:14because I
13:19heard everything eventually Barker found out that I had overheard these conversations and my life
13:26became hell on that stage anything that I did and if it was the slightest bit off he would call
13:32me over
13:33to the center of the stage and reprimand me one time he called me a dumb bitch but nobody ever
13:41heard it
13:42because he would drop the mic he would just look into me like he was trying to burn my soul
13:48up it was
13:48just awful I was so proud to testify for Holly but had no idea that it would change my whole
14:00life
14:02once again the horns came out anyone who would speak out against them would lose just about everything
14:11at this time we'd already seen Diane go and now Holly but then Barker had the nerve to sue Holly
14:35for
14:36defamation a defamation of character it really was a dark period of time on the show he was just most
14:45interested in himself and his reputation so Bob was just trying to clear house and you know save face
14:57his hope persona changed everyone felt it we were all really walking on eggshells because we love Holly me
15:11Janice everybody that was there like team Holly but Bob's our boss and little did we know he was gunning
15:19for us
15:23wow I'm really here and here is my dressing room
15:30I spent a lot of time right here sitting in this chair doing my hair
15:42the last time I was in this room I was fired
15:49October 19th 2000 was by far probably one of the worst days of my life
15:59went downstairs and there was the associate producer telling me to go in Bob Barker's dressing room for a
16:08meeting Bob was nowhere around it was the production company who gave us the news
16:15the news he will no longer be a Barker beauty I was numb I couldn't even think I really couldn't
16:27I was like did I just hear him say what I think he said
16:33I called Janice as soon as I got home she said you know that bastard fired me as well
16:43Janice she was there 29 years me 10 years it was so hurtful to let go so abruptly without cause
16:57without a good vibe that was the most cowardly thing
17:01Mr. Bob Barker I think has ever done in his life
17:07in 2000 you had a half a dozen people were let go
17:12wasn't just Kathleen and Janice were fired there were a lot of people
17:16Bob Barker's longtime executive assistant and their director Paul Alter had been working with the company for decades
17:24in one fell swoop them and more gone and it seemed to be at a time when Bob was in
17:30a lot of legal trouble
17:31and he was looking to the people around him to support him blindly
17:37and I think that when people around him didn't support him then came the retribution
17:45one by one each one of us were called into a dressing room or something
17:52the atmosphere was so tense
17:56and this lady from HR
17:58she said well thank you for your work
18:01but you're no longer needed
18:08boy that was tough that was a dream job for me
18:17eventually the truth came out why all six of us were fired we all refused to lie to save Barker's
18:27ass
18:32people lost their jobs they lost their homes they lost their careers
18:37each of these people took a stand to do the right thing and a stand that did cause some personal
18:42consequence
18:44but even at this time it would take more people to turn the tide more people speaking out
18:49and that's where Claudia Jordan comes in
18:54my name is Claudia Jordan
18:55and I was a Barker's beauty from 2000 to 2003
18:59she alleges that she's been sexually harassed
19:03racially discriminated against
19:07it's 1000% abuse of power
19:13you ready to hear some shit
19:25my name is Claudia Jordan
19:27and I was a Barker's beauty from 2000 to 2003
19:31the second black woman in history to be on the show
19:35I moved to LA with $500 to my name
19:40didn't know anybody
19:41and then finally I auditioned for the Price is Right
19:45and I got the job
19:47we have chosen as permanent Barker's beauties
19:50Claudia Jordan
19:52and Heather Kozar
19:55we're pleased to have you with us
19:57and we hope you'll be happy with us for years to come
20:02let's just put it out there
20:03there's no way I could have replaced Kathleen Bradley
20:06I was substituting for her
20:08she's a legend
20:10so I was honored to step into the role
20:15but the more I found out about why she lost the job
20:18the less positive it was
20:27it's happy time
20:30what's up?
20:31I'm so glad they were smart
20:32and just replaced me with such a beautiful person
20:34I could never replace you
20:36but it was an honor
20:37because I used to watch you
20:38and you already know this
20:39you already know how I feel about you
20:40so
20:40and I just
20:41it was bittersweet
20:42I was happy to work there
20:44but I hated
20:45why?
20:46because I
20:46loved you
20:47from afar
20:48and then I got to know you
20:49and I love you from up close
20:50I know
20:51and it just was wrong
20:51it really was
20:52and we were all done wrong
20:53all three of us
20:54I know
20:56The Price is Right
20:57was
20:58a place that was very much about retaliation
21:01oh yeah
21:02doing the right thing would get you kicked out
21:04doing the wrong thing
21:05get you protected for years
21:06look at Phil
21:06how long he was there
21:07yeah
21:07oh my god
21:10how he lasted so long
21:12he was a piece of work
21:14Phil Wayne was a producer
21:16he had been on the show for decades
21:18he was a total Nepo hire
21:20his father was the original executive producer
21:23and he was just
21:24walked on in
21:26he had power
21:27he had position
21:28and he used it
21:31he was also
21:33kind of a lech
21:34he looked you up and down
21:36and knew he knew he was undressing
21:38whomever he was looking at
21:41one day he asked me
21:42if I would like to have breast implants
21:45and he said
21:46yeah I'll pay for that
21:48if you'd like to have
21:48you know bigger breasts
21:51he was always saying things like that
21:56I remember one day I was at the touch up station
21:58before you go on stage
21:59where you can like fix your makeup
22:00and just last looks
22:01and I was in the mirror
22:03and I was kind of like bent over a little bit
22:06and Phil came right behind me
22:09and his face was like right here
22:12and I felt a hand on my butt
22:16he got like cupped my butt cheek
22:18and he was like nice ass
22:24and then he just walked off
22:26and I was like what?
22:28like did anyone see that?
22:30and I looked around
22:31and I just felt like yuck
22:36we all knew that
22:38Phillip was very fresh
22:39he liked the women
22:40you know
22:41very touchy feely at times
22:44he just
22:45took advantage of his position
22:48and of course
22:48Bob was okay with it
22:51this area would be
22:52where the mirrors were set up
22:54this would be the mirror
22:55that was set up
22:55where I was checking my makeup
22:57and hair
22:57when Phil came behind me
22:59and grabbed me
22:59I was just like this
23:01and about to go on stage
23:04having a guy
23:05that you're not romantically involved in
23:08that's not only putting his hand
23:10damn near in your butt crack
23:13it was a very powerless position
23:17I took matters into my own hands
23:20to file a formal complaint
23:22and after that moment
23:24it was never the same for me
23:25at the Price is Right
23:28the retaliation started immediately
23:31I would make sure to get to work on time
23:36and no matter what I did
23:39I would be like three minutes late
23:41I'm like how is this happening?
23:44say the meeting was at 10.30
23:45the clock would be like 10.33
23:48and I'm feeling like I'm going crazy right?
23:51I found out from a security guard
23:53that as soon as I walked in the lot
23:55that they were supposed to report to Phil
23:57when I arrived
23:59and I found out later on
24:00the same security guard said
24:01I think he set the clocks forward
24:03so you would look like you're late
24:04and it only got worse
24:09one day
24:09one day
24:09I get called into Bob Barker's office
24:14it's me, Phil, and Bob
24:17and I thought it was about Phil grabbing my behind
24:21so I was ready to like talk about it
24:23and Bob Barker with a very stern tone
24:27and very intimidating says
24:30now Claudia
24:30I understand you've been late several times
24:34and that's not acceptable here
24:36so if you're late one more time
24:38you will be suspended
24:41and if you're late again after that
24:43then you will be fired
24:45wait, what, wait
24:46that's all we're going to talk about
24:48is me being one or two minutes late
24:50not your right hand man
24:52inappropriately touching me
24:55Bob cut me off and he said
24:57well he said he was sorry
24:59what more do you want Claudia?
25:03and Phil just sat there
25:04with a smug look on his face
25:08once that happened I knew
25:10Bob was the enemy
25:12he does not have my back
25:14he was going to protect Phil
25:16there's a reason Phil was there for 22 years
25:19just getting away with everything
25:21why did this producer
25:24believe that he could engage
25:26in the outrageous behavior
25:28that he was alleged to have engaged in?
25:31well, because Bob Barker said so
25:36I'm Jeanne Harrison
25:37and I'm a women's rights lawyer
25:41I handle sex abuse cases
25:43including representing women
25:46against Harvey Weinstein
25:47and the Weinstein Company
25:48I do think that there are parallels
25:51between Harvey Weinstein's story
25:54and Bob Barker's story
25:56it still is hard for people
25:59to believe that the beloved
26:00Bob Barker could have engaged
26:03in this kind of abusive behavior
26:06but obviously behind the scenes
26:09he was willing to leverage his power
26:12and intimidate people
26:14from speaking the truth
26:16that's when I first learned
26:18the harsh reality of Hollywood
26:20in my experience
26:21Price is Right
26:22was much darker
26:24than anyone could imagine
26:36Claudia Jordan's story
26:38when it comes to the Price is Right
26:39is sad
26:40she was a victim of that culture
26:44of bigotry and harassment
26:48there's a lot of bad behavior
26:49at the Price is Right
26:50it's a good old boys club
26:52but the one man that caused me
26:54the most grief
26:55and stress
26:57and anguish
27:00was the producer
27:01he was abusing me
27:03not only physically
27:04but mentally
27:06all the comments that
27:07Phil would make
27:08carried on that
27:09old spirit of racism
27:11let's make a reverse Oreo
27:13Claudia
27:13and you get in the middle
27:14of the two, you know
27:15white models
27:19telling me I'm the ass model
27:21because stereotypically
27:22black women are known
27:23to have a larger behind
27:25and I guess that's why
27:26he wanted to grab it and feel it
27:33stuff like that
27:34over the course of three years
27:35will kind of weigh you down
27:37or just like damn
27:39why are you so comfortable
27:40to talk to me like that
27:41it definitely revealed
27:43even darker side of the show
27:46and the racial profiling
27:48even down to the contestants
27:50what I'm looking for
27:51in a contestant is someone
27:52ready to have a good time
27:53with us
27:54they would go through
27:55potential audience members
27:56in the line
27:57looking for contestants
27:58I think I'll be chosen
27:59because I'm an adorable person
28:01it was stereotypes
28:03that were definitely
28:05pushed on the show
28:07negative stereotypes
28:08of black people
28:13like the overweight
28:14black woman
28:17the extra loud
28:19ridiculous person
28:26and then I started to hear
28:28that they were only allowed
28:29to have two black contestants
28:31on the show at a time
28:34and that was a direct
28:36instruction from Bob Barker
28:41and to let Barker know
28:44the race of the contestant
28:46that's about to come on down
28:48they would have the letter B
28:51written on the card
28:54I think he just didn't care
28:57to be that close to somebody
28:59that was not white
29:01it was pretty sad
29:06a black contestant
29:07may try to hug
29:08Bob Barker
29:09and he would
29:10kind of
29:12shrink
29:13away from them
29:14hold on
29:15there's one a card
29:16and the prize is left
29:17you one a card
29:19yes
29:19don't
29:20don't attack me
29:20don't
29:21don't touch me
29:25how shitty is that?
29:27that culture
29:28of
29:30racism
29:31started at the top
29:33and trickled down
29:34and trickled down
29:35I think it's very sad
29:36because these are all people
29:37that are looking to live that dream
29:38and as a fan of the show
29:40is just super unfortunate
29:43you know when you go through
29:45something like this
29:45and it's just
29:47multiple incidents that happen
29:49on the racism front
29:50on the sexual harassment front
29:52on the retaliation front
29:55there's only so much a girl
29:56should take
30:00they really did me dirty
30:02I wasn't going to sit around
30:03and just let this happen to me
30:04and be a victim
30:06they messed with the wrong one
30:09I remember the day
30:11came to work
30:13and the end of every show
30:15a model goes out
30:16and has the microphone
30:17and gets to like say hello to the audience
30:20so I got the microphone
30:22and I said I just want to say something
30:26damn I kept on feeling like this already
30:29I was like I can't do this anymore
30:31the stuff I have to deal with
30:32behind the scenes
30:33I can't do it anymore
30:34and I'm going to miss this
30:37but this is my last day
30:39I found the lawyer that was representing Holly
30:43Holly's case definitely gave me strength
30:45and especially since I had the same lawyer
30:46I felt like I had a great case
30:48and they got hit with their paperwork
30:50the next day
30:51they made my life a living hell
30:53and I was determined
30:54to return the favor
31:08I was a young girl
31:09I just had a very honest dream
31:13of coming to Hollywood
31:14being on television
31:15and making my family proud
31:17then to have to deal with some pervy guy
31:20putting his hands on me
31:22and then I just got to shut up and take it
31:24because Bob Barker
31:25who I grew up admiring
31:28watching his show
31:29did not give a shit
31:31that's not right
31:38so I sued the production company in 2004
31:40for sexual harassment
31:43retaliation
31:44racial discrimination
31:45and a bunch of other things
31:52the production company settled with me out of court
31:56and Phil Wayne loses his job
31:59but gets sent off with a hefty package
32:03and that's just how this world goes
32:06boy when I tell you
32:07when I come back on my next life
32:08I need to be a man
32:10a mediocre fat ugly man
32:12that just gets away with everything
32:17but I am proud to say that
32:19mine was the only case
32:21where the perpetrator
32:24actually lost his job
32:28I heard many people try to get him out before me
32:30but apparently the show was okay
32:32with keeping him around
32:34sending the women off
32:35but I did it
32:37and I'll always be proud about that
32:39I feel like I saved
32:40some other women
32:43I've always felt like I was built
32:45to kind of fight for justice
32:48and Holly's case definitely gave me strength
32:51she never gave up her fight against Bob Barker
32:59Bob Barker's defamation lawsuit
33:01against former model Holly Hallstrom
33:03rages on nearly five years later
33:05from the very beginning
33:08I knew that the lawsuit
33:10was going to be a long siege
33:13Bob would never quit
33:15until he had played
33:17every trick in the book
33:19it's like a chess game
33:20it's like a legal
33:22maneuvering chess game
33:24and that went on for years
33:27Holly Hallstrom's legal battle was epic
33:31the guts that it took
33:32for her to defend her name
33:36against one of the most beloved men
33:39in Bob Barker
33:41Big Bob Bob! Big Bob Bob!
33:44that is incredibly inspiring
33:51he really wanted to destroy you until you were as low as you could get
33:59I watched him do it to Diane
34:02and I was determined he was not going to do that to me
34:07the whole thing dragged on for five years
34:12and all of a sudden he dropped the lawsuit
34:16after a five year standoff
34:17Bob Barker has officially dropped his defamation lawsuit
34:20against former model Holly Hallstrom
34:23two, three days before trial
34:25and Bob Barker and the Price is Right
34:28drop their defamation lawsuit against Holly Hallstrom
34:32reads one way to me
34:35the last thing they want is a public trial with testimony
34:40by all of the witnesses who are corroborating
34:44Holly Hallstrom's version of events
34:47but more importantly she doesn't back down
34:51she says I'm going to file a lawsuit against Bob Barker
34:55for malicious prosecution
34:59because when somebody sues you
35:01that is called malicious prosecution
35:06I had a perfect case for malicious prosecution
35:09Holly really was just pissed
35:13she's basically in the ring
35:16fighting this death match with him
35:20they did offer me a settlement
35:22that would include a non-disclosure agreement
35:25meaning that I could not speak publicly
35:28about the show
35:30I knew that I was not going to sign an NDA
35:34because he is a liar
35:37he is a shameless
35:40self-promoting liar
35:42this company
35:44has not fired people over the years
35:48I was fired
35:50I had truth on my side
35:52there was no justice
35:55if you can win because you have more money
36:00over the years
36:01I sold my house
36:03savings account
36:05portfolio
36:06all of it was spent just trying to stay
36:10in this lawsuit
36:12I just didn't want him to win
36:26throughout the whole ten years of this legal battle
36:30I lost everything
36:33I was totally broke and living out of my car
36:38I would just stay with friends and family
36:41because the moment I couldn't afford to stay
36:45in this lawsuit
36:47then I would have to settle
36:49and I was not going to do that
36:55that's a real testament to Holly
36:56she waited this out
36:59she's like I'm digging in my heels
37:01I believe in this plan
37:03I believe he's wrong
37:04I'm not going to settle with them
37:06and then all of a sudden
37:09the lawsuit changed 180 degrees
37:12the judge had denied the last motion
37:16and ordered it to trial
37:17and he could never, never let this go to trial
37:22from that point on
37:24it was over
37:26he had to pay
37:27they gave me everything I wanted
37:31including no NDA
37:34Holly took a very dramatic public stand
37:38and she really wasn't doing it for recognition
37:41this was something she did for herself
37:44she did for those other women
37:45very few people had that fortitude
37:49I was always told to not speak up against the establishment
37:54it would hurt my career
37:56but my life exploded
37:59once I took a stance
38:01and stood up to the powers that be
38:05I filed my lawsuit in 2001 for wrongful termination
38:10I never got a million dollar settlement
38:13but I did have one moment of vindication
38:16at the Ports House
38:18as we met in the hallway
38:20I pointed at him and I said
38:22Barker, one day you're going to go straight to hell
38:27as I was walking away
38:29his eyes got very, very big
38:32because nobody talks to him like that
38:34that was the best moment ever
38:36and it still is
38:40I'll show you who's the boss
38:43Janice and I
38:44put in a lawsuit, wrongful termination
38:47they did give us a nice little settlement
38:51by and large, I wouldn't change a thing
38:53I am so happy and proud that I was able to be
38:57the first black model on The Price is Right
38:59I love you, ooh
39:01and most importantly
39:03the real truth did come out
39:11You know, in 2007, Barker tapes his last appearance
39:15I want to thank you very, very much
39:17for inviting me into your home for the last 50 years
39:25The way that he's presenting it
39:28is that he's in his 80s and the time has come
39:32but, you know, what also is coming out is that he was pushed out at this point
39:40It took the most loyal fan base of Bob Barker so long to realize
39:45maybe there is a dark side to this guy
39:49but his troubles just kept mounting and mounting
39:53There was so much legal pressure on him
39:57that if he had stayed
39:58I think that the force would have been strong enough to not only blow him away but the whole show
40:13Tributes are pouring in today for Price is Right host Bob Barker
40:16who died of natural causes at age 99 at his Hollywood Hills home
40:22Definitely, the fact that he had passed away
40:24I think gave certain people a sense of permission to tell this really important untold story
40:31that has tremendous relevance for right now
40:34When I look at that show now, I really think of the women
40:37and I think of the stands that they took and what they were dealing with
40:40and how they won the game in the end of it
40:45These women brought some of the earliest cases of sexual harassment, discrimination and retaliation
40:55against one of the most powerful men
40:59in the entertainment business
41:02They really were the unsung warriors of me too
41:06Looking back now
41:09I can't believe I made it
41:13This stuff is still going on
41:15and you have to make a choice
41:19Because if you choose to fight, you're going to be fighting hard and for a long time
41:26But if you don't
41:28then you have to live with the fact that you have allowed yourself to be abused
41:36and that will stain your soul
41:39The law is very malleable
41:46This is why
41:47The law is concealed
41:51It is a law
41:51This is the law
41:53The law is a law
41:53The law is without it
41:54The law is under.
