Wheels on stone, wheels on dust,
Lantern low, in road we trust,
Carriage sings, the night replies—
I know the world, I know my eyes.
We roll through towns like passing fire,
Shadows dance on broken wire,
Faces change, the windows glow,
Every mile says “go, go, go.”
Horses breathing, engine hum,
Same old road, and still we run,
Market noise, a foreign song,
But inside me I belong.
And the road bumps hard—boom, boom—
Stones talk back in the moon,
Every shake, every scar,
Tells me quiet who we are.
Life is a road, we ride it through,
Strangers near, and skies brand new,
Places spin like a carnival storm—
But I stay me in every form.
Wheels on stone, heart on flame,
World may change, I keep my name.
Morning rain on rusted steel,
Mud on boots, the axle squeals,
We laugh, we fight, we sing too loud,
We disappear into the crowd.
Some will wave, some will stare,
Some will sell you empty prayers,
But under coats and traveler grins,
We know the truth that lives within.
Slow it down… let the road breathe,
Hear the wheels in the wet leaves,
Then we rise—hands in the air,
Shake the dust, don’t lose yourself there.
Life is a road, we ride it through,
Strangers near, and skies brand new,
Places spin like a carnival storm—
But I stay me in every form.
Wheels on stone, heart on flame,
World may change, I keep my name.
Wheels on stone… wheels on stone…
I’m not lost—just moving on.
