(LaPresse) Mercoledì l'equipaggio della missione Artemis II ha tenuto una conferenza stampa a bordo della navicella Orion, durante la quale l'astronauta dell'Agenzia spaziale canadese Jeremy Hansen ha dichiarato di aver visto cose che non avrebbe mai nemmeno immaginato. «Abbiamo visto cose davvero straordinarie, cose che pensavo avremmo potuto vedere - ha detto - Alcune erano simili a come me le immaginavo, altre invece erano cose che non avrei mai nemmeno immaginato. Siamo molto fortunati a vivere sul pianeta Terra» ha aggiunto.

00:00I've seen just some extraordinary things, things that I thought we might see,
00:05they looked similar to what I thought they might look like,
00:07and other things that I just had never even imagined.
00:11And those were different perspectives that we saw these things from,
00:15but I have to say it hasn't changed my perspective or the perspective that I launched with.
00:21The perspective I launched with was that we live on a fragile planet in the vacuum, in the void of
00:28space.
00:29We know this from science.
00:30We're very fortunate to live on planet Earth.
00:34And the other perspective that I've sort of learned from others through life is that our purpose on the planet
00:43as humans is to find joy,
00:46to find the joy in lifting each other up by creating solutions together instead of destroying.
00:51And when you see it from out here, it doesn't change it.
00:55It just absolutely reaffirms that.
00:57It's almost like seeing living proof of it.
