00:00Steve Cohen, who if I was advising him, I'd say, dude, stay away from Twitter, dude, because you're losing the
00:06fan base.
00:07He's in a mini war now with the fans because the New York Mets gave away an unnamed number of
00:13free tickets to yesterday's game
00:15because they moved the game from 7 to 4 o'clock, and they knew in their heart of hearts that
00:19nobody was showing up.
00:20So they gave away $18 bleacher seats or upper deck seats.
00:25So they got you in the building for free.
00:28I'm not going to knock that out, obviously.
00:29They weren't giving away field level tickets, but they were giving away the upper deck tickets, okay?
00:35And Steve Cohen went on Twitter last night or this morning and said, we got rid of every free ticket
00:42we had available.
00:43So the Mets fans gobbled him up.
00:45Within minutes.
00:46Yes.
00:46He goes, take a guess how many people used them.
00:50And it was 42%.
00:52So essentially 60% of the people that gobbled up the free tickets did not go to the game yesterday.
00:59And that irked him to his core.
01:01Why am I giving away free tickets if you're not using them?
01:05Which, again, is just another tone-deaf moment for the owner of the New York Mets.
01:08Not that he shouldn't be upset that you took a free ticket and didn't go.
01:12Yeah.
01:13But let's also be clear about it.
01:14Why did he want you to use the ticket?
01:17So that you'd spend money at the ballpark.
01:19Absolutely right.
01:20Obviously right?
01:21Yeah.
01:21Not because he wanted 19 people sitting in Section 323.
01:25Yeah.
01:25He wanted to sell more hot dogs.
01:27Absolutely.
01:27Which, again, that's his business.
01:29He wanted people in the building.
01:30He wanted making money.
01:31But I would say this to Steve Cohen.
01:32He wanted making money at concessions.
01:33If you really care about fans going to the game, then don't change the starting time of the game.
01:39That's it.
01:40When most people have planned to go to the game at a certain time.
