00:00I got this on my arm. Uh, someone called Brave Wilderness. I don't know what to do. Somebody better call
00:05someone.
00:06Ah!
00:10Oh, Canada!
00:12In Season 2, the trigger-happy Quickstrike entered the Beast Wars, recruited by Megatron as one of the few official
00:18Fusors aside from Silverbolt.
00:20In Transformers Age of the Primes, he finally got a brand new figure, because he wasn't good enough for Kingdom,
00:26apparently.
00:26Quickstrike transforms mostly into a scorpion, but with a cobra head for a tail, because neither is deadly enough.
00:33That's how it was in Beast Wars, and I'm here for it, because it's a monster. I think I know
00:37how it got made.
00:38Both got buckets of chicken. You wanna do it?
00:40Eh, okay.
00:41Look at that face. No, the flat one with the mandibles and angry eyes.
00:45The metallic blue and gold carry over the exoskeletal body and front arms with giant claws that open, close, and
00:52can hold stuff.
00:52The tail has a long set of ball joints, and check out that freaky flat cobra head with all the
00:57fangs! It's scary!
00:59It's scaly, beastly, I like the blue markings, opening mouth, and blast port tongue.
01:04But whose eyes should I be looking at?
01:06Unplug the main one to use the ball joint.
01:08The little legs don't move, but they're vibrant, and there is a porthole in the belly if you want to
01:13use it.
01:14Oh, and there's a porthole on top, so you can do whatever you want with that.
01:17I love the colors. Maybe the orange is a bit too bright, but everything else really works.
01:21I think the realistic texture of the bumps don't overtake the cartoonish shapes, and I don't want to visit Australia
01:26right now.
01:27Robot mode.
01:29I remember when people assumed he was gonna be a remold of Kingdom Scorpnok.
01:33I never saw it personally, and I'm so glad it's not.
01:36This was made solely for Quickstrike, keeping the claws as the white feet, the well-rounded blue and gold body
01:42that follows the scheme with the head.
01:44Even that little science spoon on the back is accurate.
01:47I'm digging the rounded shoulder pads, but look at the hands.
01:50We've got an unsettling amount of disjointed long bug legs that can open like a trap.
01:55Then his other hand is an entire cobra head.
01:58It's like a Tim Burton thing. I don't want to hold its hand.
02:02Oh, snag.
02:03No notes on the robot head. No critiques.
02:06Look at the blue mask, the spiked cheeks, the alien vent mouth, the red eyes.
02:10He's not traditionally handsome, but he's Quickstrike handsome.
02:13He's almost like, no articulation!
02:15Ball joint to head. Shoulders out and in. Forward to back and rotation below.
02:17Elbow bent. Rotation. Fingers. Ball joint. Ball joint. Ball joint. Ball joint. Ball joint. Ball joint.
02:22Jaw. Tongue. Waist rotation. Hips out and in. Forward to back and rotation below.
02:26Knee bent. Foot tilt. Heels and toes move.
02:27He poses well. It's tight in all the right places. Even the cobra arm doesn't droop.
02:31Weird that one of the three heads becomes the butt, but that's the only kibble.
02:35I said butt, butt.
02:37No weapons, but you can port stuff on the feet, inside the clamp hand, and on the side of the
02:42cobra claw.
02:43When I heard about a new Quickstrike, I got a little nervous.
02:45What if it's not good? What if it looks weird and not Quickstrike weird?
02:49And what if they half-assed it?
02:50I love the fused beast, the shape of the robot, the posing, the colors, and for generations, this is as
02:57good as it's gonna get, and I'm okay with it.
02:59My problem now, though, is which head do I put the cowboy hat on?
03:06My problem.
