00:03After years away, I've finally returned to the farm.
00:07Have you ever seen anything cuter than this?
00:10The divorce is done, and I'm back home,
00:13and I'm reclaiming my life.
00:16I moved down here to Georgia in July.
00:20Me and Tegan broke up.
00:22It's hard to move on.
00:25I really, truly feel like there's unfinished business.
00:31We're going to the farm.
00:34Hi!
00:36We're going to talk about some of the things
00:38that happened around the wedding.
00:40There are so many assumptions made about both of us.
00:42It did some damage.
00:45The night before our wedding was supposed to be
00:47a joyful time celebrating the last night.
00:51It was actually the hardest night of my life.
00:53For me, from the time that you two said I do, it was done.
00:57I think there's a lot still to figure out,
00:59and I think I've seen too many tears from Lydia
01:02to think that everything's okay.
01:18One more thing.
01:23We are here at the farm to have a conversation with the whole family.
01:28There's been hurt.
01:29There's been misunderstanding.
01:30There's been miscommunication.
01:33But just hoping to talk through that, come to understanding, and move on.
01:39The biggest thing that hurt us was everything that was said about us and not to us,
01:45and how it could have just been resolved if concerns would have been brought to us.
01:52Any concerns you have, please come to us, because if I find out that they're still gossiping about Zach and
01:59I,
02:01I will not tolerate it.
02:03Like the situation with the wedding colors.
02:07Wait, what was going on?
02:09Oh, the wedding colors?
02:11I'll just say it all.
02:12So there's nothing left in the dark.
02:15I hope this isn't like totally directed at me, but I guess I know it is.
02:23She wanted a hunter green for wedding colors.
02:25Zach said, oh no, it has to be blue, because I have a blue suit that I wore to another
02:33wedding, and I really pop in that blue suit.
02:36That was one example that I chose to share about a red flag that I saw.
02:42Like, I didn't feel the need to talk to Lydia and find out if it really went the way it
02:48did,
02:48because I had somebody that was there that told me.
02:52I was leaning towards forest green because I had a dress that I really liked if it was forest green.
02:56But that dress was, another guy had bought me that dress.
03:01So when we were talking about colors, and I realized, oh, there's a connection to this dress from another guy,
03:09and this color and everything, I decided I'd want that at my wedding.
03:12So we went with blue.
03:14It makes good sense.
03:15At least she's admitting that originally it was hunter green,
03:20whereas the last time we talked about it, she denied that it ever was.
03:23She called me out on social media, you know, mom said whatever, which just hurt.
03:33So, yeah, that was that whole thing there.
03:35No, Zach is not controlling.
03:36And that's why I was more than happy to lean towards a different color.
03:43Why do you think your mom didn't respond to you when you mentioned the wedding colors?
03:49Um, I mean, with my mom, my mom and I, I think we're just growing our relationship.
03:56Um, and I don't think that looks like a specific thing besides needing to spend more time together.
04:03So.
04:07Gossip is one of the most toxic things that just goes around in this world,
04:12and it's not okay, and it destroys.
04:15So if I find out that that's still going on and you guys aren't coming to us,
04:19that's not gonna be okay.
04:21I agree with Lydia.
04:23There's been times that there's so many triangles of people not talking
04:27because something's going on in their life,
04:30and you're just, like, working around other people's feelings,
04:33and then you're just spreading things intentionally or unintentionally.
04:38Just kind of eats at all the relationships slowly, and I don't want that to happen.
04:43I get that Lydia doesn't want us to gossip, but the dynamics of a large family,
04:48sometimes we're gonna get together and say,
04:50hey, what do you think about this?
04:51What do you think about that?
04:52You know, what do you think about Isaac Peanut Farming?
04:54What do you think about Ethan moving down from Minnesota?
04:57In hindsight, I feel like you two weren't the best communicators a lot of times.
05:07Yeah, and I feel like that's something we all have to work on.
05:11Yeah, we need to work on it.
05:14It's kind of ironic that Micah's the one saying,
05:16oh, we need to work on communicating.
05:18We need to communicate better when he's somewhere down in Florida
05:21and none of us ever hear from him.
05:24Another one of the big problems is there's so many of us,
05:27you might feel like you've communicated everything you need to,
05:30but it was to one person and not 12.
05:32Yeah.
05:34We've never been, like, a family that talks about everything.
05:37But I personally think the big reason for that was, like,
05:41when Joshua died, it was such a tragic experience
05:45and so hurtful to everyone involved, the whole family,
05:50that, like, talking about it around Mom specifically just was too heavy.
05:56And so we just, we didn't talk about the most challenging thing in our lives.
06:00If you're not going to talk about the one thing that hurt the most,
06:03that changed your life entirely, it doesn't actually heal anything.
06:10There's just so many unique things about growing up in such a large family.
06:15We'll just try to do better moving forward.
06:17Mm-hmm.
06:19Yeah.
06:20For practice, should we go around and tell people what they're terrible at
06:23and what they need to work on?
06:25Yeah, let's do that with these boys!
06:27Okay.
06:28Mariah, you never clean your room.
06:31Yeah.
06:34Lydia, you definitely need to work on getting up in the morning.
06:40Mom, you're a really great planner and have lots of great ideas,
06:44but you need to get better at narrowing them down and sticking to them.
06:49Fair.
06:49Micah, I would love to hear from you more often.
06:52Zach, a little less on the let's go.
06:54Let's go!
06:55Let's go!
06:55It's like...
06:56Let's go!
06:59Let's go!
07:00Let's go!
07:01Let's go, Dad!
07:03Ethan, I think you're probably one of the hardest working people I know,
07:08but I also think you need to grow up a little bit sometimes.
07:15All of us need to grow up a little bit.
07:18It's like a season of new beginnings.
07:20Yeah?
07:21Mm-hmm.
07:21New chapter.
07:26Okay, I want to see you guys on the tire swing.
07:28Okay, let's go!
07:32When Kim says, since you said I do, we've kind of accepted you into the family,
07:35and, you know, we don't really have any concerns anymore.
07:40I just think actions really speak louder than words,
07:43and so I just hope that now that she's said that, it actually turns into action.
08:00I feel so free to me.
08:05I don't care what people think.
08:09I love being home with my family.
08:11I think it's good and important that Lydia gets out all of how she's feeling
08:17and how what happened impacted her and how it hurt her.
08:21And it was good that people expressed their concerns,
08:24because I feel like my family usually doesn't want to particularly face a problem,
08:29so we're just like, I think it's fine.
08:32We just clearly need to learn how to express our thoughts and feelings
08:36without hurting each other.
08:38But being able to talk about it all together is a very good first step.
08:45Okay.
08:52Hi, welcome in.
08:54Hi.
08:54How are y'all?
08:56Good, how are you?
08:57I'm good.
08:57So what brings y'all in?
08:58I'm looking for some wigs.
09:01Okay, so do y'all want synthetic, human, mixed blend?
09:06So today, Ethan, Amber, and I are shopping for wigs in Tallahassee.
09:10I asked Ethan, I was like, you would love to come with me, right?
09:13And he went...
09:16Oh, that is really cute.
09:18Yeah, you want me to show you her?
09:19Yeah.
09:20Okay, yeah.
09:20I'm just looking to add to my collection of wigs.
09:24I need as many wigs as I have outfits, right?
09:27Really cute.
09:28Ooh!
09:28Okay, guys, I want your opinion.
09:29Okay.
09:30Ethan, which one do you like?
09:40I don't know.
09:41It's too soon to tell.
09:42Too soon to tell.
09:43Too soon to tell?
09:45They do have different colors, by the way.
09:47Uh-huh.
09:48So, yeah.
09:49Okay.
09:50Let's see this part.
09:52Well, so in the past, I've shared a little bit about my alopecia.
09:59It's an autoimmune condition that causes hair loss.
10:03When I was little, it all fell out.
10:06As I grew up, now and then I'd get little spots, but it was always something I could hide.
10:11But I was still carrying some winds from that.
10:14I just have to figure out what to do about my hair.
10:26I was really insecure about it.
10:29And, you know, around Lydia's wedding, it just started really falling out.
10:36Like, like this.
10:37Like, within a few weeks, um, it was all gone.
10:42Right now, I wear synthetic.
10:44I have one human hair wig.
10:47And I like that one, but it's glue.
10:49And, um, I prefer...
10:50Oh, you're like glueless.
10:51Yeah.
10:52I was just wearing whatever I could find to cover my head.
10:55And I told my mom, I was like, I'm gonna have to, like, shave my head.
10:58And she was like, well, who do you want to do that?
11:01And I was like, Ethan, honestly.
11:05And I told him what was going on.
11:07And he was like, he just was like, of course.
11:09And then he shaved my head.
11:11And, um, I was just, like, sitting there bawling my eyes out.
11:14And it was really, really hard at first for a while.
11:18But, um, just having Ethan do that, it was just, like, very healing.
11:23Very sweet.
11:24Very, like, I just, I just, I don't know.
11:28It was what I needed in that moment.
11:30What you thinking?
11:31You quiet back there, Ethan?
11:32He's always quiet.
11:33He's always quiet?
11:34Yeah.
11:35Sometimes if you just want to hear him talk, you gotta piss him off a little bit.
11:38Mmm.
11:39Yeah.
11:42Mariah, she said she had something to show me.
11:44I don't remember if it was hair extensions or a hat or something, but she took it off and
11:49she was like, I've been losing my hair for quite a few months now.
11:55I just want to shave it off, but I would like you to do it.
11:58I was like, well, if you want that, yeah, I'll do that for you.
12:01And it was emotional, because she, you know, I can imagine how hard that is.
12:06She was crying, and, um, I don't know why she wanted me to, but she did, so I did it
12:13for her.
12:15What do you think?
12:17Well, that's my favorite one so far.
12:19This one?
12:19Yeah.
12:20Agree.
12:20Yeah, I agree.
12:22You know, he told me I was still beautiful and kissed me on the top of my head.
12:27And people don't see that side of him that I sure have.
12:32He really helped me.
12:33He really, really helped me in that time of my life when I really needed him.
12:39I think the baby hairs make it look more natural.
12:41Yeah.
12:42Just trying to see if they'll get, end up getting in my eyes a lot, because I don't have any
12:45eyelashes either.
12:46So, hairs are always, like, getting stuck in my eyes.
12:49Oh, I'm sorry that you're getting on.
12:52I feel content with the way I am now.
12:56It was, like, okay, I guess what I really should do right now is my opportunity to focus
13:01on what's important and do a little inner work instead of being so upset about the cosmetic
13:05side of it.
13:07Okay, so let's try this one on.
13:09I really feel like this is going to be a winner.
13:11Okay.
13:12We're going to see.
13:13I've shared some pictures on social media.
13:17Whenever you're ready, you can take it off.
13:20But I've never done, like, just taken my wig off in a public place before.
13:26Okay, nobody laugh.
13:28Or actually, everybody laugh.
13:29Oh, crap.
13:30You are too cute.
13:31It helps when people laugh sometimes.
13:34Hey.
13:36Ken and I are at Georgia's tonight, celebrating the next chapter of my life.
13:40We have something for you.
13:42I don't mind having a few drinks and letting my hair down if Lydia's there.
13:45But with the tension that's been there with the divorce, I just feel like it might be awkward.
13:52Welcome in, Lydia.
13:53I'm not going anywhere.
13:58I don't want to be on the end or the front.
14:02Doesn't matter to me.
14:03Yeah.
14:04Me and Isaac have always been really good with communication, but I think, like, maybe the past few weeks, the
14:09communication part has kind of gone a little downhill.
14:11Kaylin, can we talk to my truck for a minute?
14:13Okay.
14:14Can you turn your mic off?
14:23Okay, nobody laugh.
14:26Or actually, everybody laugh.
14:28Oh, girl.
14:28Never.
14:29You are too cute.
14:29It helps when people laugh sometimes.
14:33Oh, you're so beautiful.
14:35Put your little dimples.
14:36All three, y'all.
14:38Okay.
14:39So, pull this strap down on the bottom so it can fit tight.
14:44And lean your head back.
14:46Yes.
14:47Does that feel all right?
14:49Yeah.
14:49Well, it's pretty comfortable.
14:51It's not?
14:51Okay.
14:51Let's get you right.
14:53And I'm going to style it a little bit.
14:55Uh-oh.
14:57She's kind of cute.
14:58Not going to lie.
14:59She's cute.
15:01I've never taken my wig off before in public.
15:03But...
15:03And what does it feel like?
15:04Is it freeing a little bit?
15:07Yeah.
15:07It's definitely freeing to just be honest.
15:11And...
15:12I don't know.
15:13Get that...
15:13Get that out there.
15:15I ain't got nothing to hide.
15:17I can't anymore.
15:19Where's the mirror?
15:20Now I got to get the mirror.
15:23Mariah's, you know, she's precious.
15:25And I think she is beautiful.
15:28You know, whether she has it or not.
15:30You know, because I can't imagine what that would be like,
15:32especially for a woman, you know.
15:34Oh, wait a second.
15:36That's so cute.
15:36Isn't it so cute?
15:38Yeah.
15:39Oh, my God.
15:39And it obviously trim right there.
15:41Mm-hmm.
15:41And it matches you so well.
15:43And Ethan ain't saying nothing bad, so it must be good.
15:46It looks good.
15:47Oh, he said it looks good.
15:49Oh, he said it looks good.
15:50That must mean a lot.
15:51It does.
15:52Okay.
15:53Okay.
15:53I can try another one on now.
15:54I think...
15:55Okay, purr.
15:56Mariah's doing really good these days.
15:59She's...
15:59I don't know why she just has her personality back.
16:02She has her weirdness back, which is her personality.
16:06That's cute.
16:07I like this one.
16:08It really makes you see that self-worth doesn't come from your hair or, you know, superficial things.
16:15I think it comes from, you know, your heart feeling loved and accepted.
16:19Ooh.
16:20I love this little stuff right here.
16:22The baby hairs.
16:23A lot of me getting to the place that I'm at was just being loved the way I was without
16:32any hair.
16:33Oh, I really like this.
16:36It's so cute.
16:39What do you guys think?
16:40I like it.
16:40You know, people in my life have gone out of their way to make sure that I am comfortable.
16:46If I want to take my wig off, I'm gonna be totally fine.
16:49Let's see what this one's talking about.
16:51Okay, the black.
16:52Now we're talking black.
16:53Okay.
16:55Let's try this one on now.
16:57Okay.
17:01I have a tendency to, like, really beat myself up or, like, be really hard on myself or just make
17:06comments about myself,
17:07which I'm fine with, but, like, how I saw myself definitely needed to change a little bit.
17:13So, I'm learning to do that.
17:15Oh.
17:16That's so cute, right?
17:18Sorry.
17:19That one's my favorite.
17:20Really?
17:21Yeah, why are you so sorry?
17:22I think this one is my favorite.
17:23Mariah seems a lot more confident now than she ever has in her life, and that makes me happy.
17:30I'll just get these two for now.
17:32Okay.
17:33Perfect.
17:34I change my mind by the time we walk out the door, I'll get all three.
17:36Oh, yeah, just come back.
17:37You know who to come to.
17:38Yeah.
17:39She's accepted it and is doing the best with it that she can.
17:42She's very resilient, and it's kind of inspiring.
17:47Want to see a trick?
17:49Oh, God.
17:51There's something about, like, sharing something.
17:54You no longer just have to struggle with alone and, like, hold it all in.
17:58And that's what I did for so long.
18:01Now I'm like, well, it is what it is, y'all.
18:04I love you, Ethan.
18:06What do you say?
18:07I love you, too.
18:09Aww.
18:09I love you.
18:20What?
18:21I love you, too.
18:22Oh, my God.
18:26Oh, my God.
18:28Yeah, I love you.
18:34Yeah.
18:36Ken and I are at Georgios tonight in Tallahassee for a very special party that my friends Aaron
18:42and Taylor are throwing for me, celebrating the next chapter of my life. Lydia works at
18:48Georgios, and I do too, but I'm not working tonight, but she is.
18:51Hi.
18:52Hi.
18:53Aw.
18:54Good to see you.
18:55Yeah.
18:56It's a great place to have a party.
18:57Yeah.
19:02So where is Lenny?
19:03I need to see her real quick.
19:04The meeting with the family went really good, but there's still obviously a lot of growth
19:07necessary, especially with my mom and I.
19:10And I wanted to be her server because I wanted to show my mom that I'm here.
19:15And I know we've had our differences over the years, and there's been hurt and confusion,
19:23but I'm not going anywhere.
19:26Congratulations.
19:29I think this would be just the next step I can take to keep moving forward.
19:38The talk with Lydia and Zach about the wedding and all of that was really good and productive,
19:42but I feel like there's still some underlying tension.
19:46All right.
19:47Bon appetit, everybody.
19:48Aw.
19:49We have something for you.
19:51Wow.
19:53Ultimately, I did what I did, and I said what I said because I care about Lydia.
19:57I love her, and I was hesitant about her marrying somebody that she really didn't know.
20:08So since, you know, this is your next chapter party, what does the next chapter really look
20:12like for you?
20:13Yeah.
20:14Well, that's a good question.
20:15I don't know.
20:16It's just me trying to figure out the rest of my life, but I know where I want to figure
20:21it out, and I know who I want to figure it out with.
20:23Aw.
20:24Dang.
20:25Yeah.
20:25It's a very good thing.
20:26Yes.
20:27It feels amazing to have some stability after four years, five years, whatever, of moving
20:34around to different properties and then trying to live on a boat.
20:39I feel really good about where my life is right now and where it looks like it might
20:44be headed.
20:45I love Ken, and I love that we're together, and I love that we're at the farm.
20:51I think I've moved five times in the last four years.
20:54I'm never moving again.
20:58Well, folks, we have a little special surprise for you tonight.
21:02We have decided to do the roast of Ken Plath.
21:07Oh, no.
21:09My friends decide to start roasting me, and I'm just a little bit nervous.
21:15I'm pretty good at taking a joke, but with roasting, there's always potential for somebody
21:21to be a little too mean.
21:23Welcome in, Lydia.
21:26I am a little worried about Lydia.
21:29I mean, I don't mind having a few drinks and letting my hair down if Lydia's there, but
21:34with the tension that's been there with the divorce and how she's kind of sided with
21:39Barry, I just feel like it might be awkward.
21:49Well, without further ado, I'm going to introduce Lenny.
21:53Watch out, Ken.
21:56My friends start roasting me, and I don't know what they're going to say, how bad are
22:02the roasts going to get.
22:04It is really nice to see the support system that you have here, and I know that I'm looking
22:09forward to seeing what the next chapter brings, and I know it's going to be beautiful.
22:13Thank you for taking us on this journey, and I just can't wait to see what's next.
22:17Yay.
22:17Love you, girl.
22:20And I have one more thing to say.
22:22I got your full bottle.
22:24Oh!
22:27A few months ago, Barry and I met up to just acknowledge that our divorce was finally over.
22:34Well, it was good having this last talk with you.
22:38Did you get me a glass or a bottle?
22:39There's a bottle there for you.
22:40Okay.
22:42So he didn't actually buy me a bottle.
22:45Okay, whatever.
22:46The full thing?
22:47The full bottle.
22:49You deserve it.
22:50I could definitely say that Barry was a little dry, and now my cup overflows.
22:58And now we have a special surprise for you.
23:04So now the roast can really begin.
23:07We've been very nice so far.
23:09Ethan, take the podium.
23:13Really, there's like a thousand things I could read.
23:17But I want to be allowed back at the farm when it's done.
23:23But she's probably one of the only women in the state of Georgia that has more ATVs than children.
23:30She has 10 children.
23:35Kim Plath has more brain power than all of us put together in this room to come with ideas, but
23:41she never follows through with any of them.
23:45Preach it, brother.
23:49I'll just say that, you know, I'm very thankful that you're my mother.
23:54Aw.
23:54And life is hard sometimes, you know, but it's a lot better when you have someone like you.
24:02There was a period of time where I didn't have my mom in my life, and it affected me, but
24:08I know it probably affected her more.
24:10So it's good to have a peaceful, good relationship now.
24:14It's good to see her and know she's there.
24:18That's all I'll say.
24:24I love you.
24:25I love you, too.
24:26All right, folks, and we've got one last person to speak tonight.
24:31Ken, it's your turn.
24:34I don't know.
24:35A lot of you know that I've recently decided to retire.
24:39Well, I was a little bit worried because I was afraid I was going to get really bored.
24:43But since I moved to the farm with Kim, I realized that there is no shortage of projects that Kim
24:49will have me busy on.
24:51Her most recent project is building trails through the woods.
24:55I love you, and I'm really looking forward to making new trails with you.
25:00Aw.
25:07Hey, folks, really quickly, Lydia wanted to say a few words.
25:13Where should I stand?
25:14I want to...
25:15I guess this is my seat right here.
25:18So I guess I would like to just start off with it's great to see everyone here just so joyful.
25:24It's great to see Mom so happy, too.
25:27I know there's been lots of ups and downs over the years.
25:32Even with you and I, we've had our ups and downs.
25:36And I just want to say, I'm also ready to start a new chapter, start fresh, and move forward.
25:44So.
25:48I love you, too.
25:49I love you, too.
25:50I love you, too.
25:55Oh, yeah.
25:56Any more drinks for anyone?
25:59Lydia's toast.
26:01It's really sweet and really heartfelt.
26:04And I feel like that's definitely a step in repairing the breach that has happened between us.
26:13Folks, I just want everybody to raise their glasses to Kim.
26:16An amazing human being, amazing mother, amazing friend.
26:20Thank you all for being here today to celebrate her.
26:22She takes the back seat a lot.
26:25And it's nice to see her standing out and being brave in this new chapter.
26:30And we wish you nothing but love, success.
26:33And if you fall, we're here to catch you.
26:34Because we know that you would catch each and every one of us if we fell.
26:38So, cheers.
26:38Here, here.
26:39To Kim.
26:43I'm really glad I chose to work tonight and to be on this party.
26:47It's been, it's been really good.
26:50Cheers.
26:52I think something I'm realizing at this dinner is when Mom and Ken first started dating,
26:58it was all too quick, all too sudden, and I couldn't understand it.
27:01And I vocalized that to her.
27:03At the same time, I've wanted my mom to express that, you know, she accepts Zach.
27:09But I'm kind of realizing I haven't really done that with Ken.
27:12Libby, I thought you were off work.
27:15As her daughter, it's so easy to just see the flaws and see everything through the flaws.
27:21But hearing what her friends think of her and how her friends see her helps me see that in her,
27:28too.
27:29So, I guess I should take my own advice to heart and tell her that.
27:39Sometimes you've got to do something or you'll get crazy, you know.
27:42Is there anything on your mind?
27:46He's got faces.
27:47If he is not comfortable, it's...
27:51And if he's just sitting there feeling okay, it's a...
27:58I think I need to get out of here, or I'm probably going to have a heart attack.
28:03Never gonna...
28:04No one got separated from them.
28:06I have to go get them, but please help me.
28:09Please help me.
28:10Please help me.
28:13Please help me.
28:16I was walking along a lonely road.
28:20Headed out of Alabama
28:22Went up over the hill
28:24Came a long, clean Cadillac
28:28This is my buddy Austin.
28:30I think I've known you for maybe about five years.
28:32But since he's back around, we've hung out
28:34about every Friday night for the past two and a half, three months.
28:38And we just enjoy each other's company.
28:40Yeah, that one's a lot better than I remember.
28:44That's good.
28:45At least it's not worse than you remember.
28:47He's also very honest.
28:48I am very honest, yeah, exactly.
28:51That was a good one.
28:53What's the story behind that song?
28:57Well, it's kind of written from a place of pain.
29:02Right.
29:03Like somebody leaving everything, trying to start over.
29:06As the song goes on, the guy finds out that
29:09you can't just run from your problems, you know.
29:11What were you going through to have all that come about?
29:16Oh, that was when Olivia left.
29:19I got you.
29:20Heck yeah.
29:20Mm-hmm.
29:21Depression is a real thing, and I definitely struggled a lot with it.
29:25Music helps a lot.
29:26But also, sometimes music is very painful, too.
29:36Is there anything on your mind?
29:42He's got faces.
29:44If he is not comfortable, it's...
29:48If he's having a good time, it's...
29:51laughing and everything, and if he's just sitting there feeling okay, it's a...
29:56Oh, or he does that, yeah.
30:01Got many faces, buddy.
30:03That's fine.
30:07Have you started writing songs about anything, like, new lately, or...?
30:11I started writing a song about Tegan a few months ago.
30:16Really?
30:17What's it about?
30:21What's it about?
30:26I don't really think I'd want to play it.
30:31I mean, do you still have feelings for Tegan?
30:36Yeah, I mean, I guess I do.
30:41I have a lot on my heart and mind, but, you know, I can't express it.
30:48I definitely think my mom and dad and all of my siblings, we just didn't really learn to communicate very
30:55well.
30:55Even not, like, communicating what you feel or whatever, but just actual communication, you know?
31:03That definitely has not helped me any in my personal life.
31:08And I've had to learn that the hard way, but that's okay.
31:12I'm still learning, working on it.
31:15I was dating somebody before, too, and I thought it was going to be it, too.
31:18But it just wasn't.
31:21And as the time went by, I really, really missed that person.
31:25And there will always be that place in your heart for them.
31:27But it's the part of figuring out what you've got to do to be okay with not having them.
31:35And once you figure out that you're okay with it, life gets easier.
31:40I don't know.
31:41Sometimes when you get in these points in life, it's like you've got to do something or you're going crazy.
31:47Yeah.
31:48They still have a place in their heart.
31:50You can never get rid of it.
31:52And it could be the same way for her to you.
31:55It's just in this time of life, it wasn't right.
31:59And one day it might come back.
32:01But if it don't, it wasn't meant to be.
32:04And that's just something us men, we have to be okay with.
32:08With Tegan, I definitely miss a lot of things, you know?
32:13Doing stuff together, making memories together.
32:17The biggest thing really is she truly was my best friend, like, that I'd ever had.
32:23Not being able to talk to that person or, you know, spend any time.
32:30And then you're just thinking all the time about how quickly time goes by.
32:35And every day, every minute, you can never get back.
32:41Whenever you feel like you're at a low point, I guess, always keep yourself surrounded with the ones that love
32:45you the most, I reckon.
32:46Keep your good pals close with you.
32:48Mm-hmm.
32:49You know, if I'm left to my own devices, I'll just end up spending all my time alone just thinking
32:54about everything.
32:55That's not good.
32:56So it's good to have friends that get you away and not keep everything that you're thinking bottled up inside
33:02of you.
33:03I'm happy to have you as a friend.
33:05You too.
33:06Good to know I love you, brother.
33:09Good to know I love you too.
33:10That was a good smack.
33:12Good to know I love you.
33:32Not a Halloween person at all.
33:34Mm-mm.
33:41I'm waiting for Ethan and Isaac and Kaelin.
33:45Isaac and Kaelin had the idea to do a corn maze.
33:49I guess some people like the adrenaline that they get from being scared.
33:54And I can't do that.
33:55I'm like, I do not like being scared.
34:02I don't like this.
34:03I just saw someone that has, like, a mask on.
34:13Kaelin!
34:14Kaelin!
34:32Kaelin!
34:33I just talked to Isaac.
34:34He said he was still in the fields.
34:36What?
34:37Me and Isaac have actually been together for about a year now.
34:41And I would say that we're doing pretty good.
34:42Me and Isaac have always been really good with communication.
34:44But I think, like, maybe the past few weeks, it's, the communication part is kind of going a little downhill.
34:55You know, my brother will save me.
35:08I don't want to be on the end or the front.
35:12I just got off work and came out here and met everybody and thought it would be fun to do
35:16a little corn maze.
35:17Oh, Isaac, can you please help me?
35:19No, you have to fend for yourself.
35:20Where are we going?
35:22I'm the girl and I get put in the very, very back.
35:25I am being put in the back.
35:27That's how I know something is up.
35:30Honestly, I just can't really put my finger on it.
35:38You know, my brother will save me.
35:43You should really scare my girl.
35:46Oh, my gosh.
35:49Oh, my gosh.
35:51My stomach hurts.
35:52Do you work here?
35:53No.
35:54I told him to scare you.
35:57I said help me.
35:59It's Halloween night and...
36:02You know, obviously, growing up, we didn't celebrate any holidays, anything, except birthdays.
36:08But Tegan really likes Halloween, so she kind of introduced me to it, you know.
36:13Now me and Tegan are broken up.
36:15It's like it reminds me of her, so it makes me sad.
36:18It makes me miss her.
36:22Hey, guys.
36:23Hi, Isaac.
36:23How's it?
36:25What's up?
36:25Hey, Ethan.
36:26How are y'all?
36:27Good.
36:28I just got off work and came out here and met everybody and these guys.
36:32Thought it would be fun to do a little corn maze, but I guess it was fun.
36:35But I've been in a field all day and go get back in another field.
36:40Yeah.
36:41Hmm.
36:42I think everybody's really tired.
36:47I don't want to be on the end or the front.
36:51It doesn't matter to me.
36:55Ethan, I don't want to be in the back, but I also, like, really...
36:58That's okay.
36:58I think everybody's okay.
37:03I just worked 14 hours farming, picking peanuts.
37:07I've had a lot on my mind lately, and I guess I'd rather not be here.
37:10If I could have just gone home and went to bed, that would probably have been the best
37:12thing, but, you know.
37:13Kaelin was there, and she wanted me to come as well, so.
37:18Which way are we going?
37:19I don't know.
37:20Are we going the right way?
37:21I'm just going.
37:24No, Ease, please help me!
37:27No, you don't do that for yourself.
37:28Please help me!
37:30Where are we going?
37:30I'm the girl, and I get put in the very, very back.
37:35I am being put in the back.
37:37That's how I know something is up.
37:39Honestly, I just can't really put my finger on it.
37:44I think I need to get out of here.
37:46Or I'm probably going to have a heart attack.
37:49We were just here.
37:52No, we haven't been here.
37:55No, I got separated from them.
37:58We have to go get them, but please help me!
38:01Please help me!
38:04Is it this way?
38:07Where'd they go?
38:08No, no, no, no!
38:10No!
38:12No!
38:14Okay, guys, what's the plan?
38:15How do we get out?
38:18That's where we came in.
38:20Should we go this way?
38:21This way looks right.
38:22Maybe.
38:28Oh, my gosh.
38:30It's okay.
38:31Mm-mm.
38:32Us girls got to stick together and protect each other.
38:34Mm-hmm.
38:35Because they're in the front.
38:36Mm-hmm.
38:38Oh, we got it.
38:39Finally.
38:41I got to walk slow.
38:42She's got a hold of my shirt.
38:44Did we do it?
38:44I think we did it.
38:45Oh, my gosh!
38:46Yeah, we did it.
38:47Oh, my gosh!
38:48We did it!
38:50Okay, I can breathe.
38:52Whew!
38:53Now, let's go home.
38:55We should watch a scary movie when we get back.
38:57I don't think so.
38:59Kaylin, can we talk to my truck for a minute?
39:01Okay.
39:07Can you turn your mic off?
39:09Okay.
39:10Okay.
39:10Okay.
39:11Okay.
39:12Okay.
39:13Okay.
39:13Okay.
39:14Okay.
39:14Okay.
39:15Okay.
39:16Okay.
39:20There's times where I think, you know, it'd be nice to maybe go out and go on a date and
39:25meet somebody.
39:26It's very easy for me to approach people.
39:28Are you, like, willing to talk to anybody kind of thing?
39:31I like to engage people.
39:33Sure.
39:33Yeah.
39:34Do you think Barry has game?
39:35Are you maybe in a position to help him pick it up a notch?
39:39There's a couple generations separating us, so there might be some different dating cues,
39:43but I'll do my best.
39:46You and I used to be really close, and I feel like all of this other stuff has kind
39:50of crept in over the years.
39:52Like, whenever I would talk to you, it just felt like there was, like, I was talking to
39:56a brick wall.
39:58It's been a lack of transparency, a lack of vulnerability.
40:02She's got to be able to let her walls down.
40:07There's no easy way to say it, but me and Kaylin, I broke up with her.
40:14I felt like it was moving too fast, and I was too young.
40:18I really believed so much that he, you know, was the one.
40:23Nobody saw it coming.
40:24I was too young.
40:24I was too young.
40:24I was too young.
