00:00:56It's nice to have everyone gathered and just have a safe space to kind of like reconnect.
00:01:02It was very much like seeing a just room full of celebrities.
00:01:07For us to actually all be together and spend some quality time getting to catch up, I think that's great
00:01:12and I wish it happened more.
00:01:14I just got done talking to Jesse, just did his, and yeah, everyone's having a blast.
00:01:18When you run your own show, obviously you're like the male lead of your series, so we don't really get
00:01:22to see each other until there's events like this where you get to interact.
00:01:25Folks might believe we see each other all the time, but we don't. We absolutely don't.
00:01:27Just being around these people is just the most uplifting and soul nourishing thing.
00:01:32These crazy people, and I love them so much. It's been amazing.

00:02:01I think this year my favorite one was To My Romeo With Love that I shot with Kayla Brady.
00:02:06We always have a good time working together, and this was a very emotional script, and it was fun to
00:02:11be able to tell that story.
00:02:13I would say probably Undercover Prison King.
00:02:15I got to do a lot of stunts and action, and it was totally different than any vertical I've ever
00:02:20done or any vertical that I've ever seen.
00:02:21Wings of Fire, and that was the coolest show to this day that I've ever shot.
00:02:25We battled the elements, and that was by far my favorite and most memorable project of this year.
00:02:31Dungeons of Ecstasy.
00:02:33I got to shoot in Italy.
00:02:34I can't not say that.
00:02:35It was so much fun, and it was just good cast, good crew, good food.
00:02:41Best.
00:02:41It was amazing.
00:02:41The first one I thought of was the one we recently wrapped for real short called Taming My Bullies, and
00:02:47we just had the best, best, best time ever.
00:02:48It was like the greatest team.
00:02:50Cam, my co-star, and Laura, the makeup artist, and Jen, the director.
00:02:54It was just a dream team.
00:02:56We're all going to be friends for life.
00:02:57I remember when I first started doing verticals, I had no idea what they were.
00:03:01No one knew what they were.
00:03:02And I just was like, okay, acting job?
00:03:04Yes, please.
00:03:05And I had the best time.
00:03:06And it was one of those things where I didn't know what I was getting myself into.
00:03:09And I think stepping on set and realizing, oh, this is a real set, and everybody's here to work and
00:03:13do their jobs was the best surprise.
00:03:15And here I am still doing it two years later.
00:03:18I was on the very first vertical.
00:03:20That's probably the more unique thing about my journey.
00:03:23And I remember I turned to my co-star, and I was like, if I did this the rest of
00:03:28my life, I think I'd be happy.
00:03:29I got the booking for Billionaire Baby Bargain, and I was like, what is this?
00:03:33Hold on a second.
00:03:33It was totally new.
00:03:35And then I showed up on set, and I was like, these guys are going to take over the world.
00:03:38Through teaching tennis, I met someone who's friends with someone who works at Real Short, and after a few months
00:03:45of playing with them, they said, hey, you should audition for my friend, you know?
00:03:49So I sent my tape in, and that was it.
00:03:54I met Erica.
00:03:56She's my agent at Real Short, and she met me when I was working at a meal prep company.
00:04:00And she had walked in there, and I was working there, and she's like, you should come work at Real
00:04:03Short, too.
00:04:04And I was like, all right.
00:04:04My first ever vertical I was on, I was backgrounding a Real Short vertical that Rebecca was starring in, and
00:04:13it was very sweet because I almost looked up to her.
00:04:16I was like, oh my gosh, this girl isn't so many.
00:04:19But I sat there as a background watching her get married, and, you know, it was just so sweet and
00:04:23beautiful to be working with her now.
00:04:25I got an offer for a show, gosh, two years ago now, and it was a little bit more risque.
00:04:35In nature, I was reading through the script, and it wasn't something at the time that I felt like I
00:04:38could really do and make it look authentic and real.
00:04:41And so I told them I couldn't take it, and they were so good to me and so sweet and
00:04:47literally were like, not a problem at all.
00:04:49We have another script that's more, you know, PG-13.
00:04:53I was part of, like, kind of the first wave of people that started doing these verticals.
00:04:57Luckily, I got put on a Real Short production, and that's when I was like, okay, yeah, like, I can
00:05:01do a Real Short.
00:05:02To see where they were and to where they are now, like, it's absolutely mind-blowing how far they've come
00:05:09in just two years.
00:05:10And it's crazy to think where they'll be two years from now.
00:05:12I was at USC, and my agent sent me this thing, and I didn't know what it was.
00:05:17So I went, and I talked to a lot of people who had already been in a few verticals at
00:05:22that point.
00:05:23So they were kind of helping me through, explaining it to me, and then it just kept going.
00:05:27You know, I did my first vertical not knowing it was a vertical.
00:05:30It was labeled as a web series on one of the acting sites, and I showed up, and the cameras
00:05:35were sideways, and I was like, sick, what are we doing here?
00:05:37And then they explained it, and I was like, that's actually incredible, let's do it.
00:05:40I was cast in my very first one, which was called You Fired a Tech Genius, and when I spoke
00:05:46to the head of production, and she offered me the lead role, this changed my life.
00:05:54Is there anyone here that you would like to work with?

00:06:01I don't think we've done a project together, and she's such a sweetheart, and she's so cute.

00:06:57I haven't worked with Jesse yet, or Richard.

00:07:07of the other male leads, like Mark, Richard, Jesse, Chris, any of the boys.

00:07:15Because I see Seth all the time, and we're friends.
00:07:19I think it would be really fun if we played brothers in a vertical.
00:07:23I think that would be a lot of fun.
00:07:24I think that's one of the really cool things about when I got to do American Sniper is we had
00:07:28a cast full of leading men, and that never happens.
00:07:31I don't normally get to work with the other leading men in the vertical space.
00:07:34Who was on the list today, and well, just not all of them.
00:07:38Verticals have done so much for me.
00:07:40Obviously, some of them are campy and silly, but really what they've done for me, I'm a very visual learner,
00:07:46and for my acting, for example, people that aren't in the industry might not know,
00:07:49but when you film a feature film, or you're filming in a television show, you film it, and it doesn't
00:07:55come out for years sometimes.
00:07:57And so by the time you get the chance to watch it and critique your acting ability and learn from
00:08:01it, it's two years down the line.
00:08:04You fix most of those things that you're watching, and you're like, oh, that's not working.
00:08:08But with verticals, the good thing about it is it's like a boot camp.
00:08:12You're on all the time.
00:08:13You're in every scene.
00:08:14You get the chance to develop these characters and take them one way or another.
00:08:17And then you get to see it within two months, so you know exactly where you're at in your acting
00:08:22ability.
00:08:22It completely changed it.
00:08:24I was in a place during the rider's strike was going on, and there was no work going on.
00:08:29My agency went bankrupt, and then I was just working these constantly, and I feel like a lot of actors
00:08:35have kept them afloat when they wouldn't normally have been able to because it's just so slow, it feels like.
00:08:41And I feel like I've just gained a lot of good experience being in front of the camera and good
00:08:46experience with turning around scripts really quickly because we move really fast.
00:08:51And I guess I've gotten a great amount of exposure, and I've gained people that like watching me, which is
00:08:58great.
00:08:58It's been an overall very grateful experience, and I hope it keeps going.
00:09:04What are your goals for 2026?
00:09:06I don't know.
00:09:08I've got to get through this year.
00:09:10I think just keep working and take the projects that really inspire me, make time for friends, and be better
00:09:17about planning out those little breaks where I get to feel me and embrace my hobbies and remember the things
00:09:23that I love and therefore who I am at my core.
00:09:26I want to prioritize my health a little more, get back into Taekwondo, and work on more exciting projects that
00:09:33make me happy.
00:09:34I want to continue to be a greater walk of masculinity.
00:09:38I want to continue to be a man that's trustworthy, who's strong but kind, who's a good leader but not
00:09:45because he demands to be, and continues to serve other people.
00:09:48I definitely want, like, a mixture of both.
00:09:51I want to ground myself more, but I also want to work on way more projects, meet new people, and
00:09:58just continue doing what I love.
00:10:00But I also want to make sure that I make time for myself.
00:10:03Kind of try out some different roles than what y'all are used to.
00:10:06Definitely, you know, something edgier, a little more fun.

00:10:12My goal is, honestly, to keep working.
00:10:14So I'm hoping, which it's looking good, I'm hoping to do at least one project a month in 2026.

00:10:23I want to travel somewhere I've never been before.
00:10:25Those are my two main goals.
00:10:27I think we can, like, branch out and start doing all the other crazy, you know, genres would be fun.
00:10:31I'd love, I'd love to do, like, a Jack Reacher, James Bond kind of version and stuff.
00:10:35Or Taken, for instance.
00:10:36I would love to actually take the action and mix it with my dad.
00:10:40Kind of, like, you know, CEO dad thing.
00:10:41He's like, they got my daughter, I'm coming for you with my unique set of skills.
00:10:45Writing a short right now.
00:10:47It's like my, I did a few in college, but this is the first time post-college.
00:10:50Which is much harder because no one's forcing you to do anything.
00:10:54So I'm doing that and it's kind of like a passion project.
00:10:58I see myself in a new place.
00:11:00I'm planning a move in 2026.
00:11:02Which can be a little bit hard when you're working in this kind of industry.
00:11:06When you just take what comes up.
00:11:07But, um, I'm very excited.
00:11:10Um, moving feels almost like a reset.
00:11:12Like, we're starting new at the beginning of the year.
00:11:15And I hope that just brings, like, even more, like, bright ideas.
00:11:21Whether it comes to social media.
00:11:22Outside of Verticals, really I'm very excited for this cartoon to come out.
00:11:27Because that is just something so, so unexpected.

00:11:34As far as Verticals, like, to find a home with Real Short, it's such a rare thing.
00:11:42I plan on staying with this family for as long as possible.
00:11:47And keep working and keep making people happy.
