00:00Bert, sweetie, I think that car is trying to pass. Why don't you move over?
00:04Welcome to Ms. Mojo.
00:05And today, we're counting down our picks for the most forgotten performances
00:09from iconic actors and celebrities through the entire original run
00:13of the beloved TV series, That 70s Show.
00:16They're bound to show up here sooner or later.
00:20Right?
00:22Number 20, Eliza Dushku.
00:24Breaking into the industry with her role as Faith in Buffy the Vampire Slayer
00:28and its spinoff show, Angel, Dushku waltzed into a one-off role in That 70s Show,
00:34instantly becoming Donna's enemy.
00:37Arriving in Season 7, the Dollhouse star played Sarah,
00:40or to use her radio name, Sizzling Sarah.
00:43Unlike some people, I care about this radio station.
00:47Plus, I just love wearing a bikini.
00:49When I put one on, I jiggle just like jelly.
00:51Hired as a DJ at the same radio station that Donna worked at,
00:55Sarah quickly attracted attention from Donna's friends.
00:58Yet, to make it worse, she also successfully conspired to get her fired.
01:03Sarah, you knew that I would never do this.
01:06You were just trying to make me look bad.
01:08And it's working.
01:11You're fired.
01:12However, after a plan to trick Sarah into playing George Carlin's monologue,
01:16Seven Words You Can Never Say on Television, live on air,
01:20the new employee is quickly unemployed, giving Donna her job back.
01:23I've just been handed a hot new record,
01:26so here's George Carlin with the seven dirty words you can't say on television or radio.
01:33Seems like I almost shouldn't play it.
01:36Oh well.
01:38Number 19.
01:39Gloria Gaynor.
01:41In 1978, Gaynor morphed into a disco legend
01:44after she released the timeless hit, I Will Survive.
01:47I've got all my life to live.
01:49I've got all my love to give.
01:51I'll survive.
01:53I will survive.
01:55So considering that 70s show is set during the same time period,
01:58as the name suggests,
02:00having the icon involved made perfect sense.
02:03In the series' debut season,
02:05Gaynor played Mrs. Clark,
02:07the music teacher at Point Place High School.
02:09Here's a little ditty I've been working on.
02:11Maybe that'll help.
02:13Hit it.
02:26With the episode revolving around prom
02:29and Fez being turned down for a dance with a teacher,
02:32Gaynor belts out her 1978 hit to turn his frown upside down.
02:36It works well, considering the duo takes up the dance floor.
02:39Interestingly, the episode prom night was set in 1977.
02:43So considering this was Mrs. Clark's last appearance,
02:47she probably became Gaynor afterwards.
02:49Weren't you the one who tried to hurt me with goodbye?
02:52Think I'd crumble.
02:54You think I'd lay down and die?
02:57Oh no, not I.
02:58I will survive.
03:00Number 18.
03:01Mary Tyler Moore.
03:02A multi-time Emmy and Golden Globe winner,
03:05as well as being nominated for an Oscar,
03:07Moore is acting royalty.
03:09Fez, I look fantastic!
03:17I always give credit where credit is due,
03:20so thank you God for my fantastic bone structure.
03:24To further add to her legacy,
03:26she was also the star of the Mary Tyler Moore show,
03:29which has been highly praised for its feminism.
03:31So when Moore took a recurring role on that 70s show as Christine St. George,
03:36it was a massive coup for the producers.
03:38You've got spirit.
03:42No, Moxie, yes.
03:43Wait, no, it's gumption.
03:46Oh, there's a word for it, and I can't think what it is.
03:49The character was the lead of the talk show What's Up Wisconsin,
03:53who hired Jackie.
03:54However, she soon discovered that Christine wasn't as lovely as she was on screen,
03:58and had a massive ego.
04:00Moore's appearances in three episodes as Christine
04:03would be one of her last roles before passing away in 2017.
04:07And you snuck a rare peek behind my iron curtain, didn't you?
04:14I know.
04:14You know, I really feel like I got to know you better.
04:17Yes.
04:17You did.
04:18And so you're fired.
04:19Number 17.
04:21Brooke Shields.
04:22In season six, Jackie's mother Pam returned to the fold
04:25after running away to Mexico following cheating on her daughter's father.
04:29Oh, I love making an entrance.
04:31Be a dear and go watch my luggage.
04:33Really?
04:33Thanks.
04:35What are you doing here?
04:36Who cares?
04:37Welcome to my driveway, pretty lady.
04:39However, rather than focus solely on building a relationship with her child,
04:42Pam began dating Donna's dad, Bob,
04:45causing a confusing mess for both kids.
04:47Well, Shields nailed the performance as the bubbly Pam.
04:50I love it in here.
04:52If you put salt around the rim, it'd be like being in a giant margarita.
04:55The actor and model, who made several sitcom appearances in the 1990s and 2000s
05:01with Friends and Suddenly Susan, played Pam in multiple episodes,
05:05stealing the spotlight each time.
05:07Well, you should have heard what you said to me last night in the hot tub.
05:13You told me that you got up to get an ice cream cone.
05:17Yet Shields wasn't the first to take on the role of Jackie's mother.
05:20In season one, Pam was portrayed by Eve Plum,
05:23who's best known as Jan Brady in The Brady Bunch.
05:26The deck is new and this lovely tile walkway leads directly to the pool.
05:35Which is filled with some of the local kids.
05:39Number 16.
05:40Barry Williams and Christopher Knight.
05:42Since we name-dropped The Brady Bunch earlier,
05:45it's only right that we do so again.
05:47Good to see you again.
05:48This is Jeff.
05:53Hi, Jeff.
05:54Where's your wife?
05:55You're looking at her.
05:56Two of the franchise's stars were Williams and Knight,
05:59who played Greg and Peter Brady respectively.
06:02However, when they arrived for a one-off role in season 8 of That 70s Show,
06:06rather than playing siblings, they got much, much closer.
06:09Oh, what a game!
06:11That quarterback is 11 for 12 with no interceptions.
06:15He is hot.
06:17Ridiculously hot.
06:18After all, the duo plays a gay couple, Jeff and Josh,
06:21who become neighbors of the Foremans.
06:23As well as holding hands, the couple also shared a kiss on camera.
06:27When chatting to the TV guide about the role,
06:29Knight complimented his former on-screen brother's lip technique.
06:32The last place we lived, we had to tell people we were brothers.
06:36Who would ever believe that the two of us could be brothers?
06:39Number 15, James Avery.
06:41When Kelso joined the police academy in season 6,
06:45there was no one better to show him the ropes than everyone's favorite TV dad slash uncle, Avery.
06:50Hey, hey, if you want to play games, go join the highway patrol.
06:55Unit 10, we've got a 415 in progress.
06:58What's a 415?
07:00Why don't you look in your manual?
07:02Best known for his work as Uncle Phil in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,
07:06the iconic performer took on the role of Officer Kennedy in That 70s Show.
07:11As a stern, stoic character that Avery excelled at,
07:14Kennedy was the perfect foil to Kelso's wacky antics,
07:18bringing out a lot of comedy whenever the two were on screen together.
07:22Why do you have a frog in your pocket?
07:25It's a surprise for the ladies.
07:28Oh, he peed on me. That's resisting arrest.
07:31While Avery was only in three episodes as Kelso's stressed-out mentor,
07:35his influence on his protege was instant,
07:38as he soon began wearing a cop mustache like Kennedy's.
07:42I hope these two delinquents don't interfere with the progress you've been making here, Mike.
07:45No, sir. Not at all, sir.
07:47Well, we'll see.
07:48I'll have my eye on you.
07:49Number 14. Billy Dee Williams.
07:52Making his screen-acting debut in 1959,
07:55Williams has done it all,
07:57including popping up for a season six episode of That 70s Show.
08:01Eric sometimes likes to talk too much about Star Wars.
08:06I understand.
08:08You do?
08:10See, this is great.
08:12Yeah, Star Wars, the greatest movie of all time.
08:16Considering Eric is a big fan of Star Wars,
08:19you'd think Williams as Pastor Dan would set off some alarm bells as he portrayed Lando Calrissian in the franchise.
08:26But not really.
08:27Eric and Donna went to see Dan at the church for counseling when the couple began experiencing relationship issues.
08:33Okay, so what brings you to counseling?
08:37A firm tug on the old ball and chain, if you know what I mean.
08:42What Eric is trying to say is we wanted to talk to someone about the pitfalls of marriage.
08:47During it, Eric and Dan gush over their love of Star Wars, which drove Donna nuts.
08:53However, it gets worse when Donna and Eric lie and claim they'd never been intimate
08:58when they recently had a pregnancy scare,
09:00causing the duo to be publicly shamed for misleading the pastor.
09:04Turn their backs on temptation,
09:08despite the lure of premarital sex.
09:13Oh no.
09:14Oh yeah, fine.
09:15So here they are, Eric Foreman and Donna Pinciotti.
09:20Number 13.
09:21Melissa Joan Hart.
09:22Playing the title role in Sabrina the Teenage Witch,
09:26Hart was a massive name in the 90s and early 2000s.
09:29Yet at the height of her fame,
09:31she guest starred in that 70s show as Mary in season two.
09:35I'm Episcopalian and my best friend's Presbyterian,
09:37but we're still best friends.
09:39It's hard work, but it's worth it.
09:41She was involved in a double date with Fez and Hyde.
09:45Mary was originally set up with the latter.
09:47However, considering how problematic and criminal actor Danny Masterson turned out to be,
09:52the character thankfully moved towards Fez.
09:55So Fez, my parents aren't home.
09:58Want to come back to my house?
09:59I have a hot tub.
10:00Hart wasn't the only Sabrina the Teenage Witch alumnus to appear in that 70s show.
10:04Her former on-screen BFF, Lindsay Sloan,
10:07who played Valerie Burkhead in The Magic Show,
10:10popped up as Patty, another date participant,
10:13in the same episode as Hart and another later on.
10:17How's it going, Patty?
10:18Good.
10:19I have to be honest with you people.
10:20Patty and I were just outside making out.
10:23Because Patty's my girlfriend.
10:28By the time That 70s Show reached its ending in 2006 with two final episodes,
10:34Long was already an established comedy and horror actor.
10:38You're a frigid, unpleasant woman who enjoys stomping on a man's heart for sport.
10:42You disgust me, Jackie.
10:47Um, I'm not Jackie.
10:49I'm Donna.
10:50Oh, you are gorgeous.
10:51After all, he was in 2004's Dodgeball, A True Underdog Story,
10:56and multiple Jeepers Creepers films.
10:59As such, it was a great idea to bring him in as Andrew.
11:02Playing Fez's childhood friend from his mysterious home country,
11:06Andrew looks nothing like Fez, and has a vastly different accent.
11:10You guys are from the same place?
11:12Of course not.
11:13He's from the west side of the island.
11:15However, this was comedically explained as the duo being from different sides of the island.
11:19Following Fez's breakup with Jackie,
11:22Andrew convinces his pal to return home.
11:24However, the plans change once again when Jackie gives Fez another chance.
11:4411. Bruce Willis
11:47Considering how many cult classics and blockbusters Willis has starred in,
11:51it's shocking he's never won a major award for his film acting work.
11:55So, let me tell you a little bit about what Vic does around here at the club.
11:59Uh, Vic, uh, who's Vic?
12:00I'm Vic. Keep up.
12:02In fact, he won a single Golden Globe for his work in the comedy-drama TV show Moonlighting.
12:07As such, for season 8 of That 70s Show,
12:10the action legend went back to his award-winning roots with a guest role as Vic,
12:14who was head of security at Chicago's Playboy Club that Kelso wanted to work at.
12:19Then, I was gonna make the move here to be closer to my daughter.
12:22Oh, you're married?
12:24I see you're not wearing a ring.
12:25Great minds think alike.
12:27The actor was actually convinced to take the role due to his friendship with Kelso performer Ashton Kutcher,
12:32who also married his ex-wife, Demi Moore.
12:35Reportedly, Willis donated his appearance fee to the American Red Cross
12:39to help the survivors of Hurricane Katrina.
12:42Hit it!
12:43Okay.
12:46Gotcha!
12:49While you'd be hard-pressed to describe Alison Hannigan as a full-on household name,
12:53the comedic actress has snuck and sneaked her way into a handful of iconic films and TV shows over the
12:59years.
13:00You're right.
13:01This one looks like the guy in the What Drugs Can Do to You film strip.
13:06From Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the American Pie film series
13:09to her career-defining run as Lily Aldrin on How I Met Your Mother.
13:1510 seconds!
13:16Suck it, losers!
13:19With so many memorable roles under her belt,
13:22it can be easy to forget that she had a two-episode stint on That 70s Show back in 2004.
13:27Wait.
13:28You like candy?
13:30Yeah.
13:31I'm out of good and plenty.
13:32It says on the box that there's plenty.
13:34But it's never enough.
13:36Jinx!
13:36One, two, three, four, five, you owe me a Coke!
13:38Hannigan played Susie Simpson,
13:41Kelso's police academy friend that Fez develops a crush on.
13:44And you really missed out because I spend a semester in France
13:47and I do stuff American girls think is gross.
13:52Number nine, Jenna Fisher.
13:54Few actors achieve mainstream success overnight.
13:57For example, it took Jenna Fisher seven years
14:00before she landed the role in a certain iconic workplace sitcom.
14:04Along the way, Fisher scored bit parts in a number of different films
14:08and TV shows, including That 70s Show.
14:11Oh, Donna, how awful.
14:13What?
14:14Oh, no, no.
14:14I just know how complete being married has made me.
14:17And I always feel so sad when I see girls your age
14:20whose window to find that kind of happiness is so, so small.
14:25The actress popped up in the season seven episode Don't Lie to Me
14:28and played Stacey Wanamaker,
14:30a character whose name feels a touch outdated
14:33and more than a little sexist.
14:35Oh, well, that's all behind her now.
14:37Honey, I've seen a lot of girls like you
14:40who wasted years on a guy who never came through.
14:43And before you know it, you're past your expiration date.
14:47Number eight, Jessica Simpson.
14:49Season five of That 70s Show kicked off
14:51with Kelso and Donna living in California
14:54after the two ran off at the end of the previous season.
14:57I sat at my mom's house for three hours.
14:59Eric still hasn't called.
15:02Hey, you know what might make you feel better?
15:05Playing pinball.
15:06Oh, there.
15:09It was during his time in the Golden State
15:11that Kelso met and began to date Annette,
15:14who was played by Jessica Simpson.
15:16I didn't know him,
15:17but there's a Carly Simon song that always cheers me up.
15:20No, you don't have...
15:21I haven't got time for the pain
15:24I haven't the room for the pain
15:28I haven't the need for the pain
15:32Oh, that was great.
15:33Anymore
15:37What do I do?
15:38Do I clap?
15:39At the time, Simpson was one of the hottest pop stars
15:42on the planet,
15:43so her three-episode arc was less of a career stepping stone
15:46and more of an attempt by the show's producers
15:48to cash in on her popularity.
15:50Be that as it may,
15:52her portrayal of the air-headed Annette was hilarious
15:54and led to more film and TV work for Simpson.
15:57I'm going back to California.
15:59Baby?
16:00No!
16:01I'll prove that I'm over her.
16:03I'll bet you 50 bucks that if we do it, I'll be into it.
16:07Goodbye, Michael.
16:09Number 7.
16:10Luke Wilson
16:10Luke Wilson was hardly a household name
16:13the first time he appeared on that 70s show.
16:16Hey, maybe I can help.
16:17I always keep a spare case of beer in the Trans Am.
16:21Little tip I picked up in the Army.
16:23However, when he made his final appearance in 2005,
16:26he'd found mainstream success thanks to roles in Old School
16:29and the Charlie's Angels and Legally Blonde film franchises.
16:33As such, it can be easy to forget that he played Kelso's older brother Casey
16:37across six different episodes.
16:39Here's my number.
16:41Oh, you know, I was going to get that from you tomorrow night.
16:43When we go out.
16:45We're going out?
16:46Yeah.
16:47I'll pick you up at the hub after school.
16:49I'll be in the Trans Am.
16:51I love the Trans Am.
16:54Everybody does.
16:56Calm, cool, and collected,
16:58Casey proved to be the perfect romantic foil to Eric,
17:01stealing Donna's affection with his good looks
17:03and devil-may-care attitude.
17:05In the end, Eric prevailed,
17:07but fans were still clamoring for more Casey Kelso.
17:10You see, Foreman, it's just words.
17:15You don't have to mean it.
17:20If you make her cry,
17:24I'm coming right back here to kick your ass.
17:28Number six, Lindsay Lohan.
17:30Okay, I want the full FES treatment.
17:32A wash, cream rinse,
17:33and a lot of that wiggly stuff you do with your fingers.
17:36It's magical.
17:38Abracadabra, baby.
17:40Let's face it.
17:41Lilo's public life, work, and image
17:44have gone through some changes since 2004.
17:46So it's easy for her That 70s show appearance
17:49to have slipped through the cracks of our collective memories.
17:52Lohan played Danielle,
17:53a client that FES attempts to seduce
17:55while working at a salon.
17:57Maybe I should blow off my date
17:58and go out with a guy like you.
18:00And when I say a guy like you,
18:01I mean you, specifically.
18:07Wow.
18:13But Danielle winds up attracting the attention of Kelso as well,
18:16and the two friends end up fighting over her.
18:19Danielle, you have to choose, him or me?
18:20I say choose, woman.
18:23Well, Fez, if I have to choose between the two of you,
18:25I mean, the choice is obvious.
18:28I choose you, Fez.
18:30What are you, stupid?
18:32What was ironic about Fez chasing after Danielle
18:34was the fact that Lohan and Wilmer Valderrama
18:37were in a relationship at the time.
18:39Unfortunately, they broke up not long after working together.
18:42You're sensitive and thoughtful and understanding
18:46and very, very sexy.
18:48Lady, don't ever stop talking.
18:50Number five, Betty White.
18:52Screen legend Betty White was an actor for over 80 years,
18:56and in that time, she accrued over 100 acting credits.
19:00Bert, sweetie, I think that car is trying to pass.
19:02Why don't you move over?
19:04Oh, he's fine.
19:06Honey, I really think you should move over.
19:08Sweetie, he can go around.
19:10Move!
19:10I'm moving.
19:11Among them was a well-received recurring role
19:14on That 70s Show.
19:16White played Bea Sigurdsson,
19:18Kitty Foreman's mother.
19:19In honor of this special day,
19:21I would like to tell you that I am thankful
19:23that you are my mother and I love you.
19:32Isn't there something you would like to tell me?
19:35Actually, I would like some more tea.
19:38In true Betty White fashion,
19:40the character's sweet and innocent exterior
19:42is hiding a caustically sharp-tongued critic
19:45whose quick wit and criticism
19:47often puts her at odds with her daughter.
19:49Mom?
19:51How you doing?
19:52Oh, I'm fine.
19:55Mom, your husband, my father, is gone.
19:58You're not fine.
19:59You're right.
20:00I think I chipped a tooth on your manicotti.
20:04When I die, get a caterer.
20:07Due to the sheer volume of work
20:09that White put in over the years,
20:11we doubt this role would land
20:12in her top 10 performances of all time.
20:14As such, it's easy to forget about her time
20:16on That 70s Show.
20:18Mom, why don't you ever really talk to me?
20:22I told you I liked your cookies.
20:25I'm gonna find your father.
20:30Bitch!
20:32Number four, Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
20:34You don't mind me being your chemistry lab partner?
20:37No, why would I mind?
20:39Just because I, you know, I tend to blow things up.
20:41Joseph Gordon-Levitt only appeared in one episode
20:44of That 70s Show, but it was an attention-getter.
20:47Joseph played Buddy Morgan,
20:48who, by attempting to put the moves on Eric,
20:51was revealed to be gay,
20:52despite owning a totally bitchin' Trans Am.
20:55Oh, hey, your car's still at school, huh?
20:57Yeah, you're damn right it is.
21:00I could drop you off if you're like.
21:02Oh, yeah, sure.
21:03And hey, guys, I'm real sorry I forgot about you.
21:06Hey, did you want to drive?
21:07Hell yeah!
21:09When Buddy steals a date-making kiss,
21:11audiences were shocked,
21:12although less so than Eric himself.
21:14But it's not me.
21:16Mm-hmm.
21:20Even then, it was clear the ultra-charismatic JGL
21:24was heading for mainstream success.
21:25But while he was originally meant
21:27to have a recurring role on the series,
21:29audiences were deemed reluctant
21:30to accept a gay character chasing Eric,
21:33resulting in Buddy and Gordon-Levitt
21:35being dropped from the show.
21:37Listen, man, if you don't want to be my lab partner anymore,
21:40then I'll understand.
21:41No, no.
21:42Oh, I didn't mean it like that.
21:43Um, look, we're still friends.
21:48Really?
21:50Yeah.
21:51Number three, Cole and Dylan Sprouse.
21:54These celebrity twins burst onto the scene
21:56with starring roles on the Disney Channel series
21:59The Suite Life of Zack and Cody in 2005,
22:02having already established themselves
22:04with roles in films like Big Daddy
22:05and shows such as Friends.
22:07When's my daddy coming back?
22:1052 minutes.
22:12The identical twins often split screen time
22:15by playing the same character,
22:17but not on that 70s show.
22:19I miss my friends.
22:21What?
22:22What?
22:24Stop it.
22:25Stop it.
22:26No, stop copying me.
22:27Stop copying me.
22:30I'm stupid.
22:31You're stupid.
22:32Damn it!
22:33The duo appeared together in season four,
22:36hanging out with Kelso
22:36after he gets separated from Hyde,
22:38Fez, and Jackie
22:39while at an amusement park.
22:41Despite limited screen time,
22:43the Sprouse boys still manage
22:44to coax a laugh out of viewers,
22:46teasing Kelso while he waits
22:48for his friends to find him.
22:49Hey, Einstein,
22:50you gonna eat that ice cream?
22:52My name's not Einstein.
22:54It's Kelso.
22:56And yeah, I'm gonna eat it.
22:58What?
23:01That's it!
23:02Number two.
23:03Amy Adams.
23:04Who'd have guessed that the girl
23:06who played Kat Peterson
23:07in the season two episode
23:08Burning Down the House
23:09would go on to become
23:10one of the greatest actors
23:11of her generation?
23:13So, that was fun.
23:15No, Disneyland's fun.
23:17That was nasty.
23:19Six-time Academy Award nominee
23:21Amy Adams' first television role
23:23was playing one of Jackie's
23:24popular friends
23:25who hooks up with Hyde at a party.
23:27Hello, Steven.
23:29Oh, I see how this is gonna be.
23:33So, when you're with your little clique,
23:35you're too good for me.
23:37Right.
23:38But they're gone now, so...
23:41Hi.
23:41The guest spot was hardly
23:43a memorable one,
23:44but it ultimately proved
23:45to be the tip of the iceberg
23:46in regards to Adams' acting ability.
23:48It wasn't long after her appearance
23:50on that 70s show
23:51that she was landing key roles
23:53in films such as
23:53Catch Me If You Can
23:54and Junebug.
23:56God loves you just the way you are,
23:58but he loves you too much
23:59to let you stay that way.

24:52in this hilarious
24:53That 70s show spot,
24:55wherein he plays
24:55Eric's favorite wrestler

25:19Despite spending
25:20half his screen time
25:21wrestling little people
25:22and the other half
25:23complaining about it,
25:25Johnson manages
25:25to imbue his character
25:26with depth and personality,
25:28creating a likable persona
25:30that resonated with viewers.
