00:00I came home after school and saw a Rolls-Royce Worth Millions Park in front of my house.
00:04When I went inside, I noticed a group of strangers in my living room.
00:07Before I could say anything, a very elegant man said that he was my maternal grandfather.
00:11I was completely shocked because, as far as I knew, my grandfather had died years ago.
00:16My mom explained that he really was my grandfather, but years earlier she had run away with my dad,
00:21cutting off all ties with her family.
00:23Then she told me that my grandfather was the president of a major corporation
00:26and that he had come to take me with him so I could inherit the business.
00:30I couldn't believe what I was hearing.
00:31At that moment, my grandfather gave me $10 million as pocket money.
00:35He said he wanted me to start by managing the local branch.
00:38To gain experience, I told him I couldn't, that I was just a student with no knowledge of business.
00:42But he reassured me.
00:43He said the branch was already very stable and that he would assign me a personal assistant to help me,
00:49that I could study and earn money at the same time,
00:51and that whatever I earned would be mine to spend however I wanted.
00:54At that point, I couldn't refuse because earlier that very morning,
00:57my girlfriend had left me for a rich guy, and he had mocked me,
01:00saying that a poor person like me didn't deserve love.
01:03With all of that on my mind, I decided to accept my grandfather's offer.
01:06The next day, I arrived at school in sports car.
01:09All my classmates looked at me with envy, but when I entered the classroom,
01:12I saw my best friend crying.
01:13I ran over to ask what was wrong, and she explained that our group project was going to fail,
01:17because when she went to submit it, the professor hinted that.
01:20If she didn't go to his office that night, for a private tutoring session,
01:23he would fail the entire group.
01:25She said that failing wouldn't affect us that much, because we could always retake the class.
01:29But she had earned a post-graduate recommendation, through great effort,
01:32and if she failed now, she would lose her only chance.
01:35I immediately said I would talk to the school administrators to defend her, but she stopped me.
01:40She said the professor had many connections, and that if we angered him, I could end up being expelled.
01:44I told her not to worry, that I had my own way of handling it.
01:47So I went straight to the principal's office, and told him I wanted to donate some money to the school.
01:51The principal laughed, and said they didn't accept donations of $20 or $100.
01:55I laughed too, and told him, I planned to donate $10 million.
01:59The principal froze.
02:00He thought it was a joke, so I opened my banking app,
02:02and transferred the $10 million to the school's official account.
02:05Minutes later, the principal received a call from the finance department, and almost fainted.
02:09He hung up, and completely changed his attitude.
02:12He treated me like a celebrity, and I took the opportunity to set two conditions.
02:15First, if I couldn't attend classes sometimes, because of work, I wouldn't be marked absent.
02:21Second, that the professor who harassed my friend be expelled.
02:23The principal didn't hesitate for a second, and immediately fired the professor.
02:28To celebrate, I invited my classmates to the most expensive restaurant in the city.
02:32We ate like kings, but when the bill arrived, I realized I didn't have my card, or my phone.
02:36I asked my friend to lend me his phone, to make a call.
02:39And at that exact moment, my ex-girlfriend arrived.
02:41But the rich guy, they told the waiter to keep an eye on us, and called the police, claiming we
02:46couldn't pay.
02:46The waiter was about to make the call.
02:48When the manager arrived, the rich guy complained, and demanded that we be arrested for attempting to flee.
02:53But the manager said the bill had already been paid, and handed my phone back to me, very respectfully.
02:58He said that next time, he would personally serve me.
03:00The rich guy couldn't believe it.
03:02He thought the manager had lost his mind, and asked how a poor student like me could receive such treatment.
03:06Before I could say anything, the manager dropped the ball.
03:09He said, I was the grandson of the richest man in the country.
03:12Everyone was left in shock.
