00:00Jeremy, it's my honor to introduce the President of the United States of America, President Donald J. Trump.
00:06Over to you, sir.
00:09Well, thank you very much, Jared, and you are doing a fantastic job.
00:13And hello, very special hello to Artemis II.
00:16Today you've made history and made all of America really proud, incredibly proud.
00:21We have a lot of things to be proud of lately,
00:24but there's nothing like what you're doing circling around the moon for the first time in more than a half
00:29a century
00:30and breaking the all-time record for the farthest distance from planet Earth.
00:35Humans have really never seen anything quite like what you're doing in a manned spacecraft.
00:41It's really special.
00:42I want to personally salute and congratulate Commander Reed Weissman,
00:47Pilot Victor Glover, Mission Specialist Christina Koch, and Jeremy Hansen.
00:54And I also want to thank the entire amazing team at NASA, headed by Jared, who's a very special guy,
01:01by the way.
01:02And you all made this day possible.
01:05You've really inspired the entire world, really.
01:08Everybody's watching.
01:09They find it incredible.
01:11I just watch you go to the back of the moon, and people haven't been there in a long time.
01:16We can say, but it's going to be more and more prevalent because we're going to be doing a lot
01:20of traveling,
01:21and then you're going to ultimately do the whole big trip to Mars, and that's going to be very exciting.
