“Project Silence” is what happens when weather decides to file a complaint. Fog rolls in hard over a bridge at an airport, visibility drops to “good luck with that,” and a nasty accident turns the whole crossing into a disaster waiting to collapse. People are trying to get out before the bridge gives up, and you think, okay, that’s the movie’s main problem.

Then it adds an extra layer of nonsense. Because once the dust settles, the survivors also run into mysterious creatures. Suddenly it’s not just about getting away. It’s about figuring out what you’re running from, while the environment itself is actively trying to kill you.

It’s South Korean tension with a monster-shaped question mark. IMDB sits at 5.6, but the setup is the kind of panic-fuel that works, even when the answers don’t.

“Project Silence” startet erst mit Nebel, dann mit Ärger. Auf einer Flughafenbrücke wird die Sicht durch plötzlich umschlagendes Wetter so mies, dass ein Unfall einfach kippt. Und während alle noch versuchen, irgendwie heil rüberzukommen, sieht es plötzlich richtig nach Brücke-aus-der-Wand-aus aus. Klar, das wäre schon schlimm genug. Aber nein. Als hätten Nebel und Chaos noch keine genug Drama geliefert, tauchen danach mysteriöse Kreaturen auf und machen aus dem Rettungsversuch einen reinen Überlebens-Blockbuster mit wenig Zeit und noch weniger Antworten.

IMDB 5,6, aber das Teil hat genau den richtigen Zündstoff: schnell, beengt, und mit dem Gefühl, dass hier jede Sekunde eine neue schlechte Idee ist.
