00:05oh my god across the united states this is full dude buried in out of control hordes
00:16holy amen there are treasures you can't even begin to imagine oh my god i'm matt paxton and
00:26my team and i are cleaning out properties rain and poop looking for big scores one of a kind
00:32we found gold for our clients and ourselves and if my instincts are right i think this is legit
00:41everyone wins 82 000. all i can say is wow you give me my house back 110 000. i can't
00:49believe this is
00:49the same house 320 000. hey guys matt paxton here as you can tell doing things a little differently
01:07this week i am on the quickest flight i can get to michigan we got a call from a client
01:12matt i need you to help me clean out my husband's barn and it's starting to cause a pretty
01:18significant rift between her and her husband normally with a horde this big of course i want
01:22my whole team there but it's a bit of a sensitive situation she's very frustrated with her husband
01:27and she needs our help like quickly
01:34i didn't know that was there i didn't know that was there there's four more trunks in that back
01:38corner i swear to god you have got so much hi i'm keith and this is my lovely wife back
01:46this is the bond yeah we got tons of stuff in containers when was the last time you were
01:51up in this area i have no bloody idea it's awesome honey
01:57so keith and beth they've got a 5 000 square foot barn filled with items from their families from the
02:04last four to five generations including all of their boxes from germany when they served overseas
02:10in the war and it is driving the wife nuts keith was in the air force for 22 years we
02:18had a much
02:19larger house in germany so we had 5 000 square feet of stuff thinking that it was going to fit
02:25in this
02:25old farmhouse and we were wrong so one thing i love about military families is they hold on to stuff
02:31man
02:31i love it we just find things that have sat there for sometimes 50 60 70 years all right this
02:38is the
02:39econo line i want it gone i do collect cars tractors down here i got an antique german wagon somewhere
02:47in
02:47there i've got all these old lawnmowers that i hate i can't get them out from the video what really
02:53caught my eye was he's got some cool vintage vehicles and tractors and they look to be in pretty
02:58good shape i've got to get my eyes on them with that being said it's really going to come down
03:01to
03:02the condition of the vehicles and if they run or not and if they do we'll be able to sell
03:06them for a
03:06lot more money big ticket items that are in the barn is a lot of first edition books there's stacks
03:12of
03:13books we have about 40 posters saturday evening post posters that are in pristine condition they have old
03:20vintage possibly first edition books so if they're in good shape and they've been sitting there for 100
03:26years that is a huge win for us more dog dishes in case we get another dog we're not getting
03:32another
03:32dog the barn is overwhelming so matt help me clean out my husband's barn i'm excited i really really
03:42hope i can make a deal with this family and i just got to get in the barn first to
03:46see what i see
03:46when a hoarder is married to a non-hoarder you're gonna have conflict one person wants to keep
03:51everything and the other person wants to get rid of everything it's always a very tricky situation
03:57hopefully they have enough valuables here to put some money in my pocket and keep keith out of the
04:01doghouse in the barn i'm going to try to find the saturday evening post artwork the first edition books
04:07and i'm going to check out all the vehicles scattered across the property
04:13how we doing howdy how are you good good to finally meet you guys in person let's go check it
04:18take a look yeah let's see what we got all right wow yeah okay this is a barn how big
04:26is this barn
04:26i believe the barn is somewhere in the neighborhood of like 42 wide and 55 long okay so
04:34this is like two houses god this is a magnificent barn though my gosh yeah when you look past the
04:41beans are phenomenal i would like to be comfortable walking in here right now i'm never comfortable
04:48these shelves go two or three buckets deep what am i gonna see what am i looking you're gonna see
04:52anything from antique pottery to a huge collection of books and records and then you're gonna find
04:5825 years or 30 years of my collection so y'all traveled all around the world absolutely we're
05:04getting into the cobweb area back that's all right all these boxes and things up here things we haven't
05:09looked in in at least 25 years it's pretty clear keith was hiding this hoarding from his wife in the
05:15barn there is a toy tractor here holy cow these old middle school lockers are phenomenal too but as time
05:21went on it just kept growing and growing and growing and now it's at a point where it can't be
05:26hidden and
05:27that's a huge problem for beth so i see tarps up high that means we're protecting everything below
05:33from something what are we protecting it from that okay all right that looks like one of my son's diapers
05:41i am getting hit with the smell yeah um and i do this every day so for me to really
05:47smell it
05:49either my uncle larry is visiting for christmas or you guys got a lot of poop in this barn yeah
05:55so all of
05:56these it's all back guano thank goodness you guys put the tarps up yeah because it would have ruined
06:01all of this i mean the minute you walk into this barn you are overwhelmed with the smell of poop
06:07i'm
06:08afraid to ask this yeah what does downstairs look like holy cow dude all right what year is this that
06:17is
06:1864. not a whole heck of a lot made is this for sale it could be for the right price
06:25but matt i'll be honest
06:27it's it's my third child doesn't need a whole heck of a lot you know it does need some paint
06:33and it
06:33does need a little bit of body okay yeah all right i dig that the plymouth fury pinnacle of speed
06:40and
06:41strength in the 1960s the plymouth fury wasn't just a family hauler it was a full-size slab of detroit
06:48muscle in fact it was the most commonly used vehicle in the early days of nascar racing the fury sport
06:56came with an optional 426 street wedge engine which was essentially chrysler's more affordable version
07:01of their now legendary hemi engine a pristine 1964 plymouth sport fury is valued at almost 130
07:10thousand dollars i really hope we get this thing started it hasn't been started a long time okay
07:17if this thing runs it's an automatic 20 grand or even more but if it doesn't run we'll be lucky
07:23to get
07:23half that this property has a ton of potential for profit however because of the dangers of the bat guano
07:33and the enclosed space i need to make sure i strike a good deal with beth and keith that makes
07:39it all
07:39worth it i got a bunch of little tractors over here yep tell me what's going on there they could
07:44they could go okay our cleanup's probably going to be between like 10 and 15 000. okay all right say
07:51we made between 40 and 50 000 my goals our profit would be around 30. i would go 50 50.
07:57yeah yeah let's
07:58do it done i'm going to shake your hand quickly so you don't go back on that thank you thank
08:02you thank you
08:03do your magic
08:13day one of the clean out and now that my team is here we need to hit the ground running
08:17so i'm going
08:17to get them up to speed on what i found out on my initial scout of the property this is
08:21an old
08:22school barn you guys old school barn you've probably got a hundred plus plastic buckets in there
08:26and they served all over the world so he bought a lot of stuff shipped it back as they always
08:31did
08:31so there's a lot of cool stuff in here he had a good eye what are our big ticket items
08:35that we're
08:35hunting for we're looking for saturday evening post artwork first edition books and we need to sell that
08:4164 plymouth fury but we won't know how much we can get for it until we see if it actually
08:46runs okay
08:48first we've got to clear out as much space as we can so kaylin and i can climb up into
08:52the rafters to
08:53get that back line thank you guys for being here good to see you yeah you can go put that
08:59on four
09:00we're going to see if this is silver by some chance you got it yeah cool hit the brakes
09:07ain't no brakes on here ain't no brakes on this thing
09:12this can go out to sale oh what is this chuck wagon
09:20oh wow what is this it's a bunch of posters it looks like
09:28dude saturday evening post posters oh wow march uh 30th 1940. this is a rockwell norman rockwell
09:37like his artwork is insanely expensive like up to millions of dollars for one of his original
09:44paintings these posters are not worth anywhere near that amount but we've got a whole bin of
09:48them yeah and depending on what's in here we could have some money okay obviously these aren't the
09:54original norman rockwell saturday evening post paintings but they're still fairly uncommon and very
10:00collectible they look like the posters that would get hung up in the newsstand to advertise the upcoming
10:05issues of the magazine sort of like what movie theaters do with movie posters today we need to
10:11keep these safe until we can really dig into what we've got here yeah let's see what else we can
10:15find we got a lot more to look through yeah it's all waterlogged what you got there i have no
10:22clue
10:23i will have to ask my husband oh nice sport fury
10:31i'm really hoping we can get this fury to run because if it does it'll make its values skyrocket
10:37yeah hold that yeah gotcha oh it's not too awful bad so kaylin's meeting with some local mechanics
10:42to see if they can get this thing fired up holy my moly when was this fired up you know
10:50um seven or
10:52eight years ago okay and he's just headed back in the garage ever since yeah for one thing the injector
10:59pump isn't pumping fuel okay get a little bit of carbon buildup off of it
11:07yeah it's right now all right let's see what happens now
11:16please fire up man we need some money if this thing will turn over it'll change our day let me
11:22know when
11:22go go come on i need you to start on up from me baby
11:35come on baby
11:39on the tour i fell in love with keith's 1964 plymouth fury if it runs we're gonna make a ton
11:45of money and if it doesn't run i don't even know if we can sell it
11:48you have to put a little more down the neck yeah
11:54there we go let me know when to go go
12:05still not getting any spark the coil or it could be dead
12:11oh there's your problem right there control module is is mounted i mean we filed the points and the
12:17points still didn't fire so it's got to be that okay this is exactly what i hope wouldn't happen
12:23looks like we're not going to be able to get the fury to run so that's going to limit our
12:27pool of
12:28potential buyers and it's going to lower the price that i can sell it for day two here in fife
12:34lake yesterday we got some bad news the plymouth fury doesn't run and so far cleaning out the barn
12:40it's been slow going are these donate like all there's a whole bucket of nails you can either
12:45donate or throw it i mean i'm just saying donate or throw donate donate okay great
12:52we got the ford i kind of line it it hasn't been on the road in a while no
12:57so whenever the owner tells me they've driven it i realize it's probably been 10 years longer i mean i
13:03think we're realistic about what this is he wants four he wants four all right let's make a deal on
13:08that
13:08four grand cash four grand cash you the man thank you dude yeah you're welcome four grand is four
13:13grand but we're still a long way from our goal so we really need to dig in and find some
13:18treasures
13:18if we're going to make forty thousand dollars gotta search everything make sure there's nothing hidden
13:23in there babe ruth signs with the braves this is cool sixteen hundred and fifty dollars thank you man
13:29thank you why we gotta suit up for this man bat guano also known as bat poop now that chris
13:43and mike
13:43have made enough space in the barn it's time we do something about that bat poop do this yeah let's
13:48go
13:48bro the only thing is bat guano is toxic to breathe in and you don't want it to touch your
13:53skin you okay
13:54yeah okay all right so that's why we're all suited up like we're on breaking bad we're gonna collect as
14:00much of this bat guano as we can and clean up what we can't because even though this stuff is
14:04gross and
14:05smells even worse what most people don't know is it can be sold as fertilizer for good money that's gold
14:11baby guano better known as bat poop was just a strange word until the 90s when ace ventura made it
14:19unforgettable thanks to their insect and fruit heavy diet bats produce a natural super fertilizer
14:25today guano fetches around ten dollars per pound but collectors will pay big money for vintage sacks
14:32one cave-aged batch was listed online for eight thousand dollars all right okay all right let's get some
14:39poop oh there's a ton up here y'all are we ready for this no but come on all right
14:46okay here we go
14:49oh come on oh come on come on oh come on oh come on i feel like it's getting in
14:55my mouth
14:58go to college kids you all right down there okay yeah i didn't dealt with a lot of poop but
15:04never
15:04bet poop this is a first for me you don't know how hard i just worked cable you don't know
15:09man you
15:10wasn't down here to see what i was going through bro how much do you think these work bro well
15:14that's
15:15ten pounds it's a hundred dollars a pound we got a thousand bites here two hundred dollars a pound
15:20we got two thousand dollars okay that's gold baby that is gold
15:29now that the barn in michigan is safer to hunt in and the crew can get back to picking
15:33another potential client has reached out to me who also is in a time crunch at their property
15:37so i'm headed out to royalston massachusetts to see what they're dealing with wow it doesn't look
15:43like it's been used oh my gosh i can't believe the stuff in here hi i'm kathleen clark my uncle
15:49left me
15:50his home and all his assets there's so much we're doing this because of the financial burden there's a
15:59mortgage on the house we have about six months of funds and my husband and i can't pay off the
16:06mortgage on the house time is of the essence here they need us to clean it out so they can
16:10sell it
16:11pick a room every room is cluttered santa claus's christmas collections from the pictures i've seen
16:17this house looks like it is filled with a lot of valuable items and i'm really excited about the
16:22christmas items they tend to sell well and tend to stay in really good shape there's old books coins
16:28and stamps a grandfather clock from the 1800s it's huge treasure hunt on paper this house looks
16:36perfect hopefully there'll be a big present for us under the tree the target items we're looking
16:41for are santa claus figurines and 1800s grandfather clock and vintage toys hey hey good to see you
16:49thanks for being here good to see you man this place is incredible it has history used to be a
16:54dairy
16:55farm it's beautiful absolutely beautiful yeah what's inside look like come help me find treasures
17:00let's do it y'all go ahead
17:04this was my grandmother's room so she lived here too oh yeah wow a lot of books the furniture is
17:11from
17:11probably the 20s that's incredible i'm just looking around until i'm looking finally lots of
17:16everything you can see he's traveled the world that bag and that clock are just magnificent this is uh
17:22was pete's room still filtering through things and we still have lots of coins and stamp collections
17:30up here he hit them all around the house that's good matt i want to show you what peter loved
17:37the most
17:39holy cow welcome to winter wonderland at peter's world i'm feeling a little uh claustrophobic oh how cute
17:52everywhere you look santa santa santa santa santa whoo if you think of the old haunted houses where
17:58the eyes stare at you wherever you go well the santas are looking at us she's got about a thousand
18:03santa clauses in this room and i'm really hoping there's a 1920s woodcutter santa in here they can go
18:09anywhere from a few thousand all the way up to ten thousand dollars i mean he just loved christmas he
18:15had a
18:15tree in every room if you can imagine i can come on matt we'll go in here whoo he did
18:22collect yes he did
18:24oh there it is 1800s grandfather clock and it's in great shape oh yeah yeah let's go back here
18:33oh wow holy man oh man you guys he's got everything in this room i've got civil war stuff
18:43i've got christmas i've got books my god yeah there's more so what do you think i think it's
18:50gonna be expensive that's what i think are you really okay to sell everything i have to
18:56we have a mortgage on this house that i inherited okay living in north carolina has made it rough on
19:02us to have to try and take care of this property and paying for electricity insurance mortgage payment
19:07all that you know we're just trying to sell to somebody who wants the property and can take care
19:11of it it's not that there's a lot of trash here it's just everything is small yes just that thinking
19:17about the hours to sell all this stuff it's probably about a 20 000 clean out and i'm seeing 40
19:25to 50
19:25000 in sales i'll do 40 60 in your favor what do you think yeah final deal deal it's christmas
19:35eve i
19:35gotta go back and christmas finish the other house all right so we'll be back in a couple days and
19:40we will
19:40bang this out great all right thank you thank you thank you i cannot wait to get going in massachusetts
19:46but first we have to finish the job in michigan it's the final day and we still have a lot
19:51to
19:51clean out unfortunately our sales have been lacking i really need a big score to get us back on track
19:58and i've got my eyes on that 64 plymouth fury i think i've found someone who's going to jump at
20:03the chance to buy it all right so this is the beaut what do you think it needs some work
20:09that's for sure
20:11it definitely needs work yeah the floorboard's kind of rusty got some ice droppings in there
20:16what are you asking for it he wants 15 000 which i know is a little high it's an emotional
20:22price
20:22obviously right the best i can do is about 6 500. i think 65 is fair let me call in
20:32both of them and see
20:33what they think okay on the tour keith said this thing is his baby and he really doesn't want to
20:38part with it but beth wants it gone and we need every dollar we can get so i'm calling in
20:43both of
20:44them to hopefully make this deal go through guys this is phil hi phil hi phil hi how are you
20:49good
20:50glad to meet you it's time to make some thoughts and decisions here i've had a couple people come
20:54around the last three days and i'm not trying to be disrespectful but there's no one that's going to
20:58pay 15 for this except for you okay and the most realistic offer we've had is here all right he's
21:04offered us 6 500. most people think it's worth between six and eight but no one is near 15. so
21:13i think
21:13realistically 6 500 is a pretty good offer that's that's like half it's been sitting for how long
21:28our last day here in fife lake the barn is almost cleared out but we haven't gotten halfway to our
21:33goal in sales yet hopefully we can find some more treasures to make some more money and help beth and
21:38keith get back on the same page more records this is the lightest one so far
21:47man i think i found the first edition what yeah what whitman and winston churchill okay let's look
21:55at let's first look at winston churchill copyright 1912 1913 this could be worth a ton of money chris
22:04let me see that book that's charles dickens yeah oh my gosh all right if this is the first edition
22:12dickens these books look promising but i'm going to need to get an expert out here to authenticate them
22:16most first editions are not authentic so we need to make sure before we sell them keep looking all right
22:23through all of this and over here too okay all right good job dude thank you very good job
22:29i think there's about 38 total posters and that's the norman rockwell that's i mean that's a sweet
22:36piece because it's norman rockwell it's just an iconic image iconic um illustrator so absolutely you
22:43show me the item i've got a guy saturday evening posts matt's my guy you know they made a lot
22:49of
22:49saturday evening post magazines they didn't make a lot of posters yeah posters are a great collectible
22:54because you know they just they don't last in my head i know there's some posters in here that are
23:00worth a couple hundred dollars a piece there's some in here that are worth 500 um and some that are
23:07worth 20 bucks a piece yeah okay that's fair that's fair what would you like to pay for this collection
23:15for all of them i'd offer 1200 1200 bucks yeah okay um realistically i'd like to be a little bit
23:23more than that so where are you at i've got about 40 posters here some of them are worth a
23:28lot i'm at
23:29three thousand dollars you know i do estate sales for a living so i'm trying to get always as much
23:36as i can for the family as well so i understand where you're coming from um yeah i'd love to
23:41add
23:41them to my collection that's all appreciate it have a great one all right be good all right dude believe
23:47it or not this is about as locally grown as it gets oh oh yeah you smell it yeah that's
23:54uh it's
23:55about some good fresh squano there there are two more tubs of this that's about 40 pounds or a little
24:00more i cannot resell it because it is not usda approved okay but i would probably buy it for my
24:07wife's garden if we can come to a deal could you do 300 yeah i'll do three deal i'll take
24:13it 300 bucks
24:14yeah this is the only thing that doesn't smell like that poop at this house dude awesome all right
24:19thanks matt yeah you guys take care now all right paul we found what i'm hoping are authentic first
24:25edition books and i know you're the man who will know for sure yep i can look at these right
24:30here and
24:31tell you right off these are these are the heritage press editions this was a book club that you could
24:35be a member of all right so we were already into mass printing yeah yep yep and this little guy
24:40right
24:40here this is a christmas carol but this is one of them when he went to the apothecary um you
24:46used to
24:46buy be able to buy books there i mean something like this if i was to retail this in my
24:51store i'd
24:51probably put 50 on it okay so none of these are first editions no it's like no uh in our
24:57store we
24:57sell things like that for a dollar because decorators come by and and people doing etsy love them
25:03to do craft work with okay so this is not what we needed to hear i was hoping to sell
25:09these books for
25:09thousands and unfortunately they're not worth the paper they're printed on
25:20all right here we go guys open your eyes come on in look at this oh my god i've never
25:29painted this way
25:31it's amazing i haven't been able to walk through here for years we got all the bat guano out that
25:37was a little harder than we thought it was so hard to come in here and see those tarps holy
25:43it's amazing you got space to do stuff over there it's all workable it's all usable
25:48this is just fantastic we can't thank you enough matt it's i i'm i'm just dumbfounded yesterday i was
25:55what 30 feet up yep questioning my decision to take on this barn
26:02i'm thrilled i'm just absolutely thrilled it's time to talk money absolutely let's do it now when i
26:09get really mad at him and he's down in the barn all the time i could say put your cod
26:13up your
26:13stadium i am going to put a couch down here just in case yeah he can have his own couch
26:17yeah
26:19which is often case in a lot of these jobs the target items maybe don't come out as much as
26:23we
26:23thought they would saturday evening post posters didn't sell for as much as we had hoped for and the
26:27first edition books turned out not to be first editions at all which put us in a hole but what
26:33really got us over the finish line was the plymouth fury it's been sitting for how long did you do
26:4075
26:40we got a deal all right oh my gosh thank god you sold the cars if you hadn't sold the
26:47cars we
26:48wouldn't have gotten anywhere near that okay grand total sales 32 000 holy smokes for all your crap
26:57your costs were low at 10 000 22 000 profits we agreed on a 50 50 split so that's 11
27:04000 for each
27:05of us fantastic oh my god that's i think i'm going over there yeah that's that was my guess give
27:10it to
27:10the ball yes it's a load off of my shoulders like you can't imagine i believe that this is going
27:20to
27:20stay the way it is uh if it doesn't then uh i will be getting a divorce so
27:29thank you thank you for everything good job all right i'm gonna go find the guys we'll see you again
27:35the team and i completed our mission in fife lake and now it's time to head back to massachusetts to
27:43take on the house filled with santa's so the clients can sell their house and rid themselves of a burden
27:48of a second mortgage what are our big ticket items that we're hunting for i mean santa claus
27:53everywhere man there's also a grandfather clock that looks promising uh and then a bunch i mean a
27:59bunch of old cast iron and tin type toys oh that's awesome we got to stay focused and we got
28:05to clean
28:05because we really only have three days and this this is probably a five-day cleanup that's good we're
28:10going to go in and start sorting through the two big rooms upstairs mike caitlin and chris you guys head
28:15up there while i start hunting in the living room any questions no all right let's do it this is
28:21a
28:21tough one this house is big we got you know seven bedrooms four thousand square feet ten thousand
28:28plus items and they're all about that big blankets and quilts
28:37okay all the true values technically these are vintage toy cars there's a difference between vintage
28:43toy cars and old cars these just look old hopefully there's more vintage toys hidden around this house
28:49somewhere
28:52see this behind door number one
28:58what's this
29:01all right now i'm talking
29:05all right now i'm talking what's this
29:14what you're finding chris a old train set
29:18it's not in bad shape either let's see what you got
29:22this is cool this is lionel that's the name you want to see maybe other than marks when you're talking
29:29about vintage toy trains these were really good toys back in the day it's not uncommon to find model trains
29:37but these are better than most of the trains we find pre-war trains are highly collectible because
29:42they're made of metal they're highly detailed and very realistic definitely got trash geez louise
29:48this is shaping up to be a whole set yeah which is great because we could sell individual cars
29:54or we could sell it all as a set these are pre-world war ii toy trains built before 1942
30:01back when they made them out of steel and coated them with tin for durability when manufacturers
30:06switch from using metal to using plastic and die cast it sped up production cut costs and unfortunately
30:14lost some quality chris this is a great find that's what i do i know these trains are vintage
30:21they're toys and they're in good shape if we keep fighting more like this it's really going to help
30:27our bottom line oh there's blades
30:34you got money in there yep everywhere man like look at this now this is some good silver right here
30:41one ounce of silver is a little under 80 dollars on the market right now so that's a half an
30:46ounce see
30:47the difference oh yeah so i mean that's not bad dude look at that i'm just gonna keep striking holy
30:53cow dude 14 karat gold this looks like an old shampoo bottle this looks like some vitamins but it's not
31:01vitamins in here i don't i'm not taking those vitamins yeah absolutely not whoa he had change
31:11everywhere man so this is 40 percent silver holy smokes the gold-plated coins and the mints aren't
31:18worth much but there's a bunch of good sterling silver here we gotta get this all properly appraised
31:23and find a buyer 2100 just these jars and that's not bad dude
31:32with the upstairs rooms bringing us some wins now it's time to focus on the vintage santa collection
31:38which is hopefully going to deliver us some presents in the form of big payouts
31:43man man man wow like santa threw up in here
31:50holy this is totally creepy oh oh oh yeah oh no all right mike so what are we doing with
31:59all this
32:00this is the kind of thing that people walk right past and they don't really appreciate the value that
32:06could be sitting here and if we find the right christmas items they can sell for big money let's
32:13see this this anywhere between five to fifteen dollars okay yeah this guy right here shamrock
32:21santa by lennox what i'm really looking for in this christmas collection is vintage christmas late 1800s
32:29early 1900s items this one they range between 20 to 52 that's great the good news is each of these
32:37range
32:38from five to two hundred dollars and there are a ton of them so we can make some great money
32:44off of
32:44these items if we can find the right buyer we have to look at every single always always
32:54thanks for answering my ad about the vintage cars yeah you got quite a collection here for all 80 pieces
33:00i'm at 600 bucks cash is king let's do it all righty let's see what i got here
33:07charles dickens village man what do villages oh they sell man pretty excited about all the trains man
33:12yeah dude we found a ton of these o gauge pre-war lionel trains i love when the boxes and
33:18everything are
33:18there i love when it's complete you know you have multiple pieces you have everything here for
33:23everything you see i won't be anywhere less than two grand yeah i'm excited i'll do that all right cool
33:31as soon as mike has a buyer over here all these can go yeah and then all this furniture same
33:36thing
33:36do we got a book person coming i think so gotta love it a lot of the hoarders we deal
33:43with they
33:43really don't trust banks they will have money in the strangest places and being that i've been doing this
33:48for so long i know all the places they have money oh 30 minutes later and i'm still going through
33:54books
33:57lorraine nice to meet you nice to meet you we struck out finding any big ticket vintage santa clauses
34:03but the items that we did find have some value they also have a ton of other vintage christmas items
34:10so i'm going to take a chance and sell it all as one bulk lot have you ever seen a
34:15collection like
34:15this no no not this large a somewhat overwhelming collection overwhelming is absolutely the right
34:22word just to be totally up front we are looking to work out a deal for everything all of the
34:28christmas
34:28items in one lot i think there's about a thousand holiday objects here in this room yeah i would really
34:34love to be about ten dollars a piece on these so i'm at around ten thousand dollars well to be
34:41honest i
34:41think it's a little high okay you know i was thinking more in the lines of four i mean i'm
34:47willing to work with you a little bit but you know you're cutting me pretty low there do i think
34:52i could
34:52get 10 grand for all this vintage christmas stuff yeah probably but it would take me a year to do
34:59it
34:59she's here right now and she's clearly interested so all i've got to do is close the deal i'll tell
35:05you
35:05what if you can do eight dollars a piece across the board that would be eight thousand dollars
35:10we can work this out
35:19if you can do eight dollars a piece that would be eight thousand dollars we can work this out
35:26okay that sounds fair to me awesome thank you lorraine thank you do you have a vehicle big enough for
35:32all of this i do it's our final day at the santa house there's only a few more rooms to
35:43hunt through
35:43and a lot to sell if we want to hit our goal of forty thousand dollars one of these little
35:48bobbers
35:49you see all those bobbers on the wall over there i've been looking through books all day
35:55wait hold up oh hey matt bingo matt money money money that's all 50s at least five thousand dollars
36:05chris somehow always finds money it just follows him that turned this into a good day
36:13beautiful clock oh man is it ever this clock is from late 1700s it's not a reproduction they're made
36:19to last clocks like this this clock will outlive me definitely it looks like you took very good care
36:25of it i actually have some paperwork oh fantastic yeah a lot of people who have antique clocks have
36:31reproductions but kathy and uncle peter have actual proof that this clock was made in england in the late
36:381700s and that's a huge difference in values from 1790 made in england and then it was imported by the
36:45poor family wonderful and so i would love to get 4500 for this um all right that sounds good sounds
36:54like a deal to me go get your car and then we'll start loading you up thank you
37:00well sat i appreciate you coming down man of course i kind of need help figuring what i got and
37:05then let
37:06me know if you want any of it yeah the solid silver is definitely where the good money is you
37:10got your
37:11gold coins that's so 4 000 an ounce now so that's a thousand dollars you get the silver pennies so
37:18that's just kind of neat because of when they were using all the copper yeah using the copper for
37:22bullets yeah yeah so all right so obviously we're in the business of selling this stuff yep so what do
37:28you think man um i would do 10 000. could you do 15 000 um that's gonna hurt
37:41that's gonna be tough
37:45let's get this room empty one two three straighten it up you can straighten it up first
