When the twin giant ice-planets Uranus and Neptune quarrel, Dark Truder swoops in and hoodwinks Neptune into becoming part of his newly formed personal planetary system, the Truderverse. But when the dour planet wants out, it's up to The Zula Patrol to release him from Truder's greedy grip.

00:00Way, way up where the planets do the hula.
00:03Spin and shot till you find yourself on Zula.
00:06Let's take off.
00:07We're all ready to go.
00:09It's fun to learn with the Zula Patrol.
00:13Wake up, Gorgah.
00:14It's time to play.
00:16Come on, Captain Bula.
00:18It's welcome the day.
00:19Where's that cedar?
00:21Ready to go.
00:22Wizzy and Wig are good to glow.
00:26Beakers bobblin' turnin' blue.
00:29Molto's makin' somethin' new.
00:32Way, way out where the planets do the hula.
00:35Spin and shot till you find yourself on Zula.
00:39See you around.
00:40Hold submission control.
00:42It's fun to learn with the Zula Patrol.
00:45Way, way up where the planets do the hula.
00:48Spin and shot till you find yourself on Zula.
00:51See you around.
00:52Hold submission control.
00:54It's fun to learn with the Zula Patrol.
01:05Space. Its beauty calls to mind the immortal words of the poet.
01:12Great galaxies! It's the Zula Patrol!
01:16Isn't it beautiful?
01:19It's never going to leave my side.
01:22You know, the Zula Award is given only once a year to the Zula Patrol's most outstanding member.
01:29I know, I know! You've only mentioned it about a hundred times.
01:34What's wrong, Wig?
01:36He's just jealous, that's all.
01:38Am not!
01:39R2!
01:39Am not!
01:40R2!
01:41Calm down, you two!
01:42I don't get it. Wizzy and I do everything together. How come she gets an award and not me?
01:49Now, Wig, be fair. Wizzy did a lot of extra credit work to win that award.
01:55Bula, I hate to interrupt, but we're receiving a report of trouble from the outer planets.
02:01Looks like we've got a planet-sized argument on our hands. Neptune and Uranus.
02:07Oh, not again. Seems like those two are always arguing.
02:11Well, they're almost twins. And as you know, sometimes twins don't get along.
02:20Uh, Molto, why do folks think of Neptune and Uranus as twins?
02:24That, Bula, is a good question. And every good question deserves the Molto-pedia!
02:32Let's go!
02:37Make way!
02:38The blurb's coming through!
02:40Hi, Zula patrollers. I'm Shabby.
02:43I'm Tabby.
02:44We know all about twins. Twin stars, twin beds, the twin cities.
02:48Great! We wanted to know why Neptune and Uranus are thought of as twins.
02:53Good question!
02:54Well, they're about the same size.
02:57And both are blue. Though Neptune's a little bluer, don't you think?
03:00And they're both big liquid balls surrounded by gas, which is part of the air around the planets.
03:06We call them ice giants because they probably have solid cores or centers made of ice and rock and more
03:12ice and rock.
03:13Did I mention ice and rock?
03:14And some metals.
03:15Both Neptune and Uranus have moons and rings.
03:18And both are windy.
03:20Very windy!
03:23Hey, we should go fly a kite there!
03:25Two kites. One for each end.
03:31And there they are!
03:33Well, there's Uranus. I still can't see Neptune.
03:37That's because Neptune's farther from the sun.
03:40From Earth, if you're out in the country away from city lights, you can sometimes see Uranus with just your
03:46eyes.
03:47But you would need a telescope to see Neptune.
03:50You know, Gorga, ever since I was a kid, I've gotten Neptune and Uranus mixed up.
03:59Hey, good idea.
04:01You draw the differences between the two planets as we look for them.
04:05Thanks, Gorga.
04:09And you smell like rotten eggs.
04:13There's no proof of that.
04:15And you're no bouquet of roses yourself.
04:18You're so uptight, your poles squeak when you rotate.
04:21This is a job for the Zula Patrol.
04:25Ahoy, Neptune!
04:27Okay, what's the problem this time?
04:30It's him.
04:30He keeps me up all hours with his loud parties.
04:34Him and his whole noisy gang of moons.
04:38Hey, man, I'm a popular guy, so, you know, it's only natural.
04:43Not only am I super cool, I'm the only planet with rings who goes around the sun spinning on its
04:50side.
04:53Big show-off and talk about a fast life.
04:57He goes around the sun in half the time I do.
05:01That's just because I'm closer to the sun, which also makes me naturally a warmer guy.
05:08And face it, my bro here is a drag and windy.
05:14Hey, you're no gentle breeze.
05:17And what's with the blue color?
05:19Couldn't you find a different color instead of copying me?
05:23Copying?
05:24I'm bluer than you'll ever be.
05:26And I was blue first.
05:29Were not.
05:29Was two.
05:31Were not.
05:31Was two.
05:32Not, not, not.
05:33Two, two, two, two, two.
05:35Yo-ho-ho!
05:37I love it!
05:38And it plays right into my latest plan.
05:41Oh, a new plan.
05:43Imagine my delight.
05:45I have decided to create my own solar system.
05:48With me at the center.
05:51Uh, Trudy, there's only one solar system.
05:55The one with soul, the one and only sun.
05:59You'll need to find another star for your system.
06:01Traxie, I am a star.
06:04And soon I'll have planets and comets and, um, uh, other space stuff all going around me.
06:11And I shall call it the Truderverse.
06:15I do all the same stuff Wizzy does.
06:18And what do I get for it?
06:19Nothing.
06:20Same here.
06:22I'm almost as big as Uranus.
06:24Just as icy.
06:25And even a little bluer.
06:27But I get no respect.
06:30Wouldn't it be nice if we got some credit for a change?
06:34Hey, I think you're pretty cool.
06:36You too, Neppy.
06:43Is this finally your time to shine?
06:46Are you tired of being overlooked and underappreciated?
06:50How would you like more respect, more self-esteem, and more, more, more popularity?
06:56Yes.
06:57A thousand times yes.
06:59Well, friend, then it's time to step up and take your rightful place in the all-new Truderverse.
07:06Sign right here.
07:07Me too.
07:08Me too.
07:09That's what I want.
07:11Whoa.
07:11Azula Squirt.
07:12Can I sell him or what?
07:16Go ahead, Traxie.
07:18Say it.
07:19All hail the center of the Truderverse is Royal Nastiness, Dark Truder.
07:24Thank you, Traxie.
07:27My personal star system is coming together nicely.
07:30Now, look upon the awe and wonder of the Truderverse.
07:36Behold, the planet Spin Sightlea.
07:40Trudy, that's an old washer.
07:42And my second planet, Hookie Down.
07:44Does the dance club know they're missing that?
07:47And the giant blue gem of the Truderverse, my very own Neptune.
07:53And his weird little moon.
07:58Uranus, have you seen my brother, Wig?
08:00Nope.
08:01Actually, I was just wondering the same thing about my brother.
08:05He left orbit and didn't even say goodbye.
08:08Man, brothers are such a pain in the equator.
08:12No kidding.
08:13Still, Wig's there when I meet him.
08:16I don't know how many times he's helped me get out of trouble.
08:19Yeah, Neptune gave me my favorite bongos.
08:22And he doesn't even dig jazz.
08:25Don't tell him I said so.
08:27But when he's gone, I miss him.
08:30And I miss Wig.
08:32Hey, what's that?
08:36It's a note from Wig and Neptune.
08:39They're tired of feeling unappreciated.
08:41So they've gone to join a new planetary system.
08:46We gotta do something.
08:49Is orbiting always like this?
08:52I feel like I'm just going around in circles.
08:55I have to admit, the Truderverse certainly isn't all I'd hoped.
08:59I hear the disco ball already quit for a better job.
09:03I sure miss Pula, Molto, Zitor, and Gorga.
09:07And...
09:08Don't laugh.
09:09But I even miss Wizzy.
09:11I'm not laughing.
09:12I think it's nice.
09:14Huh?
09:15Hey.
09:16You weren't supposed to hear that.
09:18I missed you too.
09:19That's why we've come.
09:20To take both of you home.
09:22Really?
09:23Uranus?
09:24Did you come because you missed me?
09:27Oh, man.
09:28Don't make me say it.
09:30Okay, okay, you may be square, but you're my brother, and I miss you a lot.
09:38That's all I ever wanted to hear.
09:41Well, then let's just all go home.
09:44Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no!
09:47And nobody's going nowhere, no how!
09:49Better not cross him.
09:51He's still ticked off about the disco ball.
09:53Feel the mighty pull of my Super Hold Everything In Place Ray!
10:10Oh, great ruler of the Truderverse.
10:13Since we're sticking around here, we thought you might want to see one of our special talents.
10:19It's called the Big Woosh.
10:21Big Woosh?
10:23Doesn't sound too promising.
10:25Well, give it a shot.
10:27Maybe I can work with it.
10:34I'm coming!
10:40Ugh!
10:48Well, at least we're making a clean getaway.
10:52Wig's the real hero.
10:54He gave Uranus and Neptune the idea that set us free.
10:57Uh, okay. It's true.
11:01Thanks. We're a dynamite team, bro.
11:05What's big and round and very blue, Uranus and Neptune, too.
11:09You might think they're twins, but they're not.
11:13Neptune's full of windy pride. Uranus spins on his side.
11:16And in the nighttime sky, he's just a dot.
11:20Uranus and Neptune, so alike and so into light.
11:23Different just like real brothers are.
11:27Now they hang out together in stormy or clear weather.
11:30And he go in the backseat of the car.
11:34And so ends our saga of two planets.
11:37So alike, yet so different.
11:40Just another exciting day in the lives of...
11:43Flamin' Flapjacks! The Zula Patrol!
11:52Now it's time for our Molto moment!
11:55Can you tell me how Uranus and Neptune are similar and how they are different?
12:01Ooh! Ooh, I can!
12:03They're similar when they're the same!
12:05And they're different when they're not!
12:07No? Wasn't anyone paying attention?
12:10We were!
12:11Uranus and Neptune are similar because they're both ice giants.
12:15They're both about the same size, the color blue, with moons and rings and lots of wind.
12:21But Neptune's the windiest planet in the solar system.
12:24And further from the sun, so it's harder to see from Earth.
12:28And Uranus is the only planet with rings that spins on its side!
12:32See you next time!
12:34No!
12:34No!
12:35No, no!
12:35Just a little bit!
12:35No!
