00:00Where we're doing unbelievably well, well at a level that nobody's ever seen before.
00:05The entire country could be taken out in one night, and that night might be tomorrow night.

00:11I ordered the U.S. Armed Forces to do whatever was necessary.
00:15Over the past 37 days, America's armed forces have carried out more than 10,000 combat flights
00:22over Iran, unheard of, striking more than 13,000 targets.
00:26The F-15 we lost last week was the first manned aircraft down by the enemy in this entire
00:33operation with thousands and thousands of flights.
00:36They got lucky.
00:36It was a lucky hit.
00:38You know, eventually you get lucky.
00:40But we got lucky, too, because we got both of them back.
00:44But it's a record that is unparalleled in the history of military air operations.
00:49Nobody's ever seen anything like it.
00:51It's such an honor to be involved with it.
00:55And we were up late at night, and then we were waiting for those contingent planes to
01:02come in.
01:03And we said, come on, let's go get in.
01:04Because they're waiting out on this farm without a runway, with wet, crummy soil, sand.
01:15Mostly sand.
01:15Wet sand.
01:17And it eats planes alive.
01:18And we're waiting.
01:20And we're saying, I hope that one can land and take off.
01:23And they came in like magic.
01:25Boom.
01:26Boom.
01:26Boom.
01:27Boom.
01:27One after another.
01:27It was like genius.
01:29I'm so impressed by that.
01:31Because we were a little concerned.
01:32We said, boy, if they don't get in and get up fast, we're sitting in the middle.
01:37And that's called Iran Prime.
01:40Right, General?
01:41That's where the whole bed is.
01:44And here we are sitting there waiting for a plane.
01:47But they came in so fast and so hard.
01:49And these guys knew exactly what they did.
01:51Let's go.
01:52Come on.
01:52Get in.
01:53Let's go.
01:53Pwah.
01:54They came one right after another.
01:56Not at the same time.
01:58They don't want to come at the same time.
01:59They had to come right after each other.
02:01They didn't have any room.
02:01There was barely any room to land, a tiny little patch of very wet earth and sand.
02:09So I just, I'm so proud of the people that I have standing up here with me and many others
02:14that worked.
02:15So many.

02:21But the people that are here, the job they did is amazing.
02:25As Commander-in-Chief, I never forget the extraordinary risk taken by the warriors that we send.
02:31And into battle and the genius, I mean, think of it, having a contingency of three planes
02:36waiting because we think the sand is so bad that we probably won't be able to take off.
02:41And the planes really got bogged.
02:44The sand was, this was not much of a runway.
02:47This was a farm, not a runway, it's a farm, but it did the trick.
02:52But to have a contingency as opposed to having to wait two days, can you imagine right in
02:56the middle?
02:57Well, this was central.
02:59This was right, you would call it central casting if you were doing a movie for location.
03:05And probably the toughest area of Iran where we'd be sitting there.
03:09So these planes came in, those pilots came in so fast and so quick and got out of there.
03:14Everybody got aboard and just got 15 minute intervals.
03:18One load out, one load out, one load out, it happened.
03:24And we were watching and we said, that's amazing.
03:27In many ways, I was, I was almost more impressed by the contingency that we had than the fact
03:35that, you know, if we would have had a runway or decent soil, but it was an amazing thing.
03:40But we thank God for every single one of them and the talent.
03:44The genius is not even talent, it's genius, it's the whole ballgame, every one of them.
03:50If you look at what we did with Maduro, we went into a military compound, a massive, with
03:57thousands and thousands of soldiers within a matter of minutes.
04:00And he lived behind iron doors.
04:02There were steel doors, broke them down so quickly.
04:05And within almost minutes, he was in the back of these planes.
04:09It was a similar group.
04:11We have incredibly talented people.
04:14And if the time comes, we move heaven and earth to bring them home safely.
04:19We're going to bring our people home safely.
04:21I want to thank every member of the U.S. Armed Forces involved in these historic operations.
04:26They really were historic.
04:27It's just not something that's done.
04:30And you'd understand it, not that they don't want to do it.
04:33But when you're going into areas, when you look at these helicopters, when you look at
04:37the amount of bullets and everything else that they took, when you go into these areas,
04:41you don't come out like we came out.
04:44God was watching us.
04:45I tell you, well, it was the Easter, we were in an Easter territory, I guess, but God was
04:52watching us.
04:53Amazing.
