“KPop Demon Hunters” walked away with Oscars for both Best Original Song and Best Animated Feature on Sunday, but as CinemaBlend’s Philip Sledge pointed out, there was one major flaw in the broadcast.
The live HUNTR/X performance of “Golden” was incredible, but it came too late in the night. Obviously, they like to save the biggest performances for later to maintain viewership, but when it comes to an animated project with younger fans, perhaps this should be considered.
