00:00But how about this? We have a fantastic race for Rookie of the Year in the NBA. And on the
00:05Kelsey Marketplace, we've had some unbelievable turns. And this goes to show you, Joe, some people
00:11look and say, well, Cooper Flagg wasn't going to win in here. Khan Knippel was setting the record
00:14for three-point shots made. But how about this, Joe? And you might look at the odds and be like,
00:18why would I go against Khan Knippel on April the 3rd? Which, again, it's only April the 6th.
00:23Joe, Khan Knippel was trading at 88.5% to be the Rookie of the Year. Why would I bet
00:28on an
00:28underdog and just throw my money away? Well, here's why. Fast forward to today,
00:33Cooper Flagg is trading at 67% chance to now be the Rookie of the Year. So if you got
00:39in when he
00:39was back at 16%, that is a windfall. But it just goes to show you, market speculation,
00:45what actually happens, the way to let it play out, you can find some of these gems. Cooper Flagg,
00:51now the favorite, when just a few hours ago, it feels like he was the decided dog in this race.
00:57Yeah. And well, you know what it was? Cooper Flagg started slow. It took him a little while to
01:03adjust to the league. But once he got it going, he got it going. And keep in mind, this is
01:08not a
01:08very good Dallas Mavericks team. But at 19 years old, he's the only teenager, I believe, in the
01:14history of the NBA to drop 50-plus points on a team, which is what he did on Friday. He
01:20followed that up
01:21with, what, a 45-burger last night to take down the Lakers. So, yeah, I mean, both of these guys,
01:28former teammates there at Duke that ended up losing to Florida in the National Championship
01:33and are now battling number one and two in the Rookie of the Year. Yeah, it's, what do you,
01:39what do you think matters more? The, you know, the three-point shot or the all-around play
01:43of what Cooper Flagg is doing. It's going to be close, I'll tell you that. Still
01:48some games to separate each other here, though, coming up.
