00:22has been in one word ludicrous like it should not be scientifically possible what he has been able to
00:30do 10 months post achilles surgery uh mego and i talked about this briefly uh on our show on
00:35saturday and i just i continue to marvel at the fact that jason tatum is just you know flirting
00:41with triple doubles or getting triple doubles on a nightly basis now it's three nights in a row that
00:47he's just flirting with or has a triple double he was one assist shy the other night which he was
00:52trying desperately to get couldn't get it against the milwaukee bucks and then yesterday against the
00:56raptors 23 13 and 7 again like this guy is playing like the jason tatum we knew the all pro

02:39you're rested and so as he gets to game shape this is about as good a spot as you could

02:49late last week i'm not sure if any of you guys saw this he was on an nbc sports boston
02:55podcast and he
02:56said that if the celtics win the nba championship this year it will be the greatest championship in
03:03nba history and not just because of jason tatum's return from his achilles rupture but because of all
03:10the payroll that they shed last summer jaylen brown's ascension and while i think that that's
03:16an interesting argument you can go through nba championships and say where would this one rank
03:21i'm a little bit more curious about where it would rank among boston championships because there is this
03:28tier of boston championships in my opinion that's kind of untouchable and it's oh four red socks and oh
03:34one patriots and i wonder if the celtics were able to win the championship this year depending on how
03:43dramatic the playoff run would be and how emotional it would get and most importantly maybe who would
03:49be on the other side if maybe it was the lakers would this get this into that tier of championships
03:56i'm guessing that you picked those two because of the long droughts for the franchises that preceded
04:02them i think also with the patriots because of what it kicked off like maybe in the moment i i

04:08living here maybe in the moment it felt more like wow what a crazy fun story but nobody could sit

04:37to do with this basketball team so if you could if you win the nba championship this season then that
04:44means tatum and or brown have played really well in the postseason and either jalen brown is an
04:53mvp and an nba finals for a second time or jay uh jason tatum has his first coming off an
05:01achilles
05:01where he wasn't even out a full year so that's pretty impressive but also the others part of it
05:07is big like the the brad stevens part being willing to part with poor zingas being what or being told

07:22dustin pedroia you had guys that had won in 07 or 04 or both and yet it was entering the

07:28you're coming off of bobby valentine you had no buzz whatsoever and then the attacks happened a couple
07:34weeks into the season and it was like this galvanizing force behind them they all that's
07:39the only red sox championship that was won at fenway park since the 1910s so if they're able to do
07:45this
07:45this year it really is two guys that we all think are hall of famers but a team that with
07:49this much
07:49talent was thought to be nowhere near a championship
