00:32No official explanation's ever been offered, and of course there's scepticism.
00:36But all these years later, the witnesses still want to know, what exactly did they see?
00:49The footy season had just started.
00:51Me and all my mates were out on the oval,
00:55and all of a sudden we all looked up,
00:57and there's this object going slowly across the sky.
01:02I just shrieked,
01:04there's a flying saucer, and there's a flying saucer outside.
01:09And pupils just stood up and off they went.
01:14And it was just humming, it was just sitting there and humming.
01:18And I just couldn't believe it.
01:20I was just transfixed, because I'd never seen anything like that before.
01:26It was amazing.
01:26And I thought, no, it's not an aeroplane, no engines, nothing.
01:33It's just sitting above the power lines in the sky.
01:38I was mesmerised, I was just staring at them moving around.
01:42They were like a shape of saucer, and they flew.
01:48The significance of the Westall case
01:51is the sheer volume of first-hand eyewitnesses
01:55saying the same thing that they did 60 years ago.
01:58That's a very compelling case.
02:00What frustrates me, and I think all the other pupils,
02:04is the attempts of having it buried.
02:07Could we just find out what it was, please?
02:10That's all we want.
02:16This is what I saw.
02:20That's what I saw.
02:37One more.
02:42You have all these elements to the Westall case
02:44that make it a true enigma and a mystery 60 years later.
02:50And it really just has so many interesting
02:53and fantastical facets to it.
02:55Why not?
02:57Every year we have an anniversary at the Granger.
02:59Most of us go.
03:01Hi, everybody. Thanks for being here.
03:03Great to see people. Keep coming.
03:05It's a chance for us all to get together
03:07and talk about, you know, what we experienced that day.
03:11It's in my head.
03:13I can never leave it.
03:14I don't care what anyone says.
03:16I have one question.
03:18Were you there?
03:19And they all say, no.
03:21Well, I was, and so were all these other witnesses.
03:24What have we got to lie about?
03:26Nothing.
03:26We want an answer.
03:30A lot of the witnesses really felt like
03:32they had been restrained over the years
03:35from talking about the story.
03:37It was something that couldn't be shared,
03:39couldn't be talked about.
03:41So I've sort of kept it under wraps for quite a while
03:44because you don't, you fear of being ridiculed.
03:46They got the message very clearly
03:48from the school authorities
03:50that this was a story that was to stay at Westall.
03:54We were just all told not to talk about it
03:56or we'd get detention.
03:58It's all rubbish.
04:00Some sceptics have suggested that
04:02what was responsible for Westall
04:04was just mass hysteria.
04:06I don't think it's something
04:08that can be completely discounted,
04:11but it's clear they saw something.
04:13No matter what happens,
04:14I will never doubt what I saw.
04:18Of course something must have happened.
04:20It's just trying to find the most reasonable explanation
04:23without jumping to fantasy.
04:26Westall has been co-opted by the hardcore UFO believers
04:29as a classic case of alien visitation.
04:32Now, if aliens are visiting Earth, so be it.
04:34But great, you know, where are they?
04:37I hope what might come about from this 60th anniversary
04:40is some more official information.
04:42We'd all like to see that.
04:49In 1966, Westall was a fast-growing community
04:54on the southeastern edge of Melbourne.
04:59To cope with the fast-growing population,
05:01there were two newly founded schools,
05:05Westall High School
05:06and the adjacent primary school.
05:14The Westall incident actually happened
05:16on the second-last day of term.
05:24We were out in the field.
05:29I looked up into the sky
05:31and I saw a disc
05:36flying around in a very strange movement,
05:42kind of zig-zagging.
05:43It was here one minute and then up there the next.
05:47That's when the commotion started.
05:51I was in science.
05:54It was coming up to morning recess
05:57and all of a sudden,
05:59this student flung the door open
06:01and said,
06:01Mr Green, Mr Green,
06:02there's flying saucers in the sky,
06:04there's things in the sky,
06:05and then just took off.
06:07Well, we just all looked at each other
06:09and started laughing
06:10because we thought,
06:12oh, yeah, right.
06:15And I can remember walking out there
06:18and standing and just looking up
06:19and all of a sudden,
06:20I saw them.
06:26It wasn't particularly high up,
06:28maybe a thousand feet.
06:29Hard to know exactly.
06:31It was large, easily visible,
06:33circular, silver
06:34and clearly under some sort of control.
06:39It wasn't a helicopter.
06:41It didn't have wings.
06:44It wasn't an aircraft.
06:46It was a flying disc,
06:50a two-story kind of flying disc.
06:55I saw three,
06:56but some saw two,
06:58some saw one.
06:59It depended on where you were in the school.
07:03And they moved incredible speeds.
07:07Straight up in the air,
07:09and you'd look
07:10and they would be there.
07:11And you'd look again
07:12and there's one there
07:13and there's one over there.
07:14And, oh, my God,
07:15then they're over the power lines.
07:19I was working on the market garden.
07:22My back was feeling a bit sore,
07:24so I stood up
07:25and right in front of me,
07:28there was this object in the sky.
07:30It was just there.
07:34As I was looking at it,
07:37the colouring changed,
07:38becoming translucent at the same time.
07:42I didn't believe it
07:44because it couldn't be happening.
07:50I saw what I saw,
07:52and so did all my school friends,
07:53hundreds of us.
07:55It was unidentified.
07:57It was flying,
07:58and it was clearly an object.
07:59It wasn't a mirage.
08:00So it got referred to as a UFO,
08:03an unidentified flying object,
08:05because it met all those three criteria.
08:09A lady named Mrs Robbins,
08:11she was my science teacher,
08:12and she came out with a camera
08:13and started taking photos.
08:19And all of a sudden,
08:20all these little planes
08:21come flying through.
08:23We were used to planes
08:24because of being so close
08:25to Moorabbin Airport.
08:27And anyway, they'd fly in
08:29and they'd get near the saucers.
08:31The saucer would just go
08:32straight up in the air.
08:33It was like they were playing
08:34cat and mouse with them, honestly.
08:37It was quite amazing to watch.
08:40A few of us girls,
08:42who were on the fence
08:43and we were crying,
08:44thinking it was the end of the world.
08:45Total hysteria.
08:47It was just incredible.
08:48And then it did a controlled descent
08:51down behind some pine trees.
08:55Now, the area was known to us kids
08:57as the Grange,
08:58and it was a few blocks
08:59behind the school.
09:01That's when a lot of the kids
09:02jumped the fence
09:03and took off.
09:07I was teaching English.
09:10Three lessons straight.
09:12Dying to get a cup of tea
09:14and to smoke.
09:16I met Andrew Greenwood coming in.
09:19He was a science teacher.
09:23And the first words he said to me,
09:25I think, were something like,
09:26did you see it?
09:28Did you see it?
09:29I missed out on it by minute.
09:31So that's exercised my imagination
09:33for the last 60 years.
09:37Andrew told me that the kids had gone
09:39over the fence
09:40to follow the flying saucer.
09:43He said it had landed beyond the trees.
09:45I just ran in the direction
09:47of where this one appeared to go down.
09:51And there was this strange thing
09:54just sitting there,
09:55hovering above the ground,
09:57quite big,
09:58and I could hear a low buzzing sound.
10:02I could see two other girls
10:03that had gotten there before me.
10:05One was crying
10:06and quite hysterical, actually,
10:08and the other girl
10:09was just on the ground.
10:12And then as I was literally staring at it,
10:14it started to rise up very slowly.
10:16And then when it turned on that,
10:18when it was on that angle,
10:20it could go really fast.
10:24I never saw the craft,
10:27whatever you'd like to call it,
10:29on the ground.
10:30But by the time I arrived at the spot,
10:34the grass was flattened.
10:42I walked around
10:43to the other side of the school
10:45and I noticed these two jeeps.
10:50The jeeps would have arrived,
10:51I reckon, probably 10 minutes
10:53after the craft had disappeared.
10:55It was very quick.
10:56And now the men get out
10:57and they've got clipboards and whatever.
10:59Now, they're all in green uniforms,
11:01but some of them were in camouflage.
11:04And then they jumped back in
11:06and took off
11:06and went, obviously, down to the ground.
11:10There are people
11:10who very clearly remember
11:12there being a military presence.
11:14I definitely had a line of sight.
11:17Yes, I saw everything
11:18that went on over there.
11:19One of the army guys
11:21came over and spoke to my boss.
11:24The guys all started
11:25looking at the ground,
11:27inspecting it.
11:36They had a bit of trouble
11:37trying to get everybody
11:38back into class.
11:42It was later
11:43that we had the assembly,
11:45the special assembly.
11:50Mr. Sambelby,
11:51the headmaster,
11:53dictated to all the students
11:54that what we saw
11:56was probably just a weather balloon.
11:58Right?
11:59And that we're not to talk
12:00to the press
12:01or anybody else
12:01about what happened.
12:03OK?
12:03And that if we did,
12:05we would get into real strife
12:07with him.
12:09It seemed quite a normal thing
12:11of a headmaster
12:12who doesn't want to see
12:13his school running amok.
12:15No one would have wanted
12:17their school
12:17to be
12:19the centre
12:20of a UFO sighting.
12:22I was taken by the principal
12:25to a little interview room
12:27where two gentlemen
12:29were seated.
12:37They told me
12:39that what I had witnessed
12:41wasn't a balloon.
12:45Even at that young age,
12:47I disputed that fact.
12:50That's when
12:51they changed
12:53their tactic.
12:54They intimated
12:56that we don't
12:58want this
12:59getting out there
13:00into the media.
13:02They wore dark suits,
13:04white shirts
13:05and skinny ties.
13:09They made me promise
13:11not to
13:12discuss it.
13:14I kept my word
13:16to the point
13:17where I did not
13:18discuss it
13:18with my mother.
13:19I did not
13:20discuss it
13:21with anybody.
13:30When school finished,
13:32Channel 9 news team
13:33was out the front
13:34and they were asking
13:35students if they'd
13:36be interviewed.
13:37So we told them
13:38what we saw
13:39and then this man
13:40appeared.
13:41He was a policeman
13:43and he said
13:43to the cameraman
13:44and to the reporter,
13:46you stop filming
13:48and you go away.
13:53We all watched
13:54the news at 6 o'clock
13:55and yeah,
13:55there I was
13:56pointing up
13:57into the sky
13:57telling my story.
14:05After the Westall
14:06incident,
14:07it kind of fell
14:08off the map,
14:09it went dark,
14:10it wasn't talked
14:10about until many,
14:12many, many decades
14:13later where
14:14some researchers,
14:15Australian researchers
14:16started asking questions.
14:20I was particularly
14:21curious about
14:22the Westall story
14:22because hardly
14:24anything had been
14:25written about it.
14:27I presume the story
14:28was at least
14:30in part urban legend,
14:32that there were
14:33elements of the story
14:34that had probably
14:35been embellished
14:36and added on to
14:37over time.
14:38but what I was
14:40interested in was
14:41what was at
14:42the core
14:43of the story.
14:44There's been a
14:45mushrooming
14:46of flying saucer
14:47clubs.
14:47Flying saucers
14:48were a big part
14:49of the culture
14:50when I was growing up.
14:51What do you think
14:52they are?
14:53They are real
14:54anyway.
14:54They come from
14:55the other planets.
14:57There were stories
14:58about flying saucers
14:59on TV,
15:01in the movies,
15:02comics.
15:03It was something
15:04that was very much
15:05part of the zeitgeist
15:06at the time.
15:06In the past decade,
15:08the mounting
15:08accumulation of evidence
15:09demands our attention.
15:14People see things
15:15all the time
15:16around the world.
15:17I mean,
15:17it's a global phenomenon.
15:19But to have
15:20a mass sighting
15:21in broad daylight,
15:24it's more rare,
15:25right?
15:25So those,
15:27in my opinion,
15:28deserve a proper
15:30investigation,
15:31a deeper dive,
15:32because,
15:33what is it,
15:33was it a mass
15:34hallucination?
15:42This is the science room.
15:44So this is the room
15:45you were enjoying.
15:46Yeah.
15:47I've been in contact
15:48now with easily
15:49more than 200 people
15:51who were witnesses
15:52at Westall that day.
15:54This is what all
15:55started.
15:56Yeah, this is where
15:56it started.
15:58It's hard to know
15:59exactly how many people
16:00saw the UFO,
16:00but when I met
16:02Andrew Greenwood,
16:04the science teacher,
16:05who's now sadly
16:06passed away,
16:07he was very clear
16:08to me that
16:09when he went out
16:10onto the sports
16:10ground with his class,
16:12that there was
16:13something like
16:13more than half
16:14the student body
16:15seeing what
16:16he was seeing,
16:18and that was
16:19more than 300 kids.
16:21I was standing
16:22beside Andrew,
16:23Andrew Greenwood.
16:24He sort of
16:25looked at me
16:25as if to say,
16:26don't run
16:27and don't jump
16:28the fence
16:28like somebody
16:29else we know.
16:30You lay it off
16:31and you're already
16:32gone, I know.
16:34It's amazing to me
16:35that there is so much
16:35commonality across
16:37the witness testimonies,
16:38and this became
16:39very apparent to me
16:40very early on
16:41that people were
16:42and are telling
16:43the same story.
16:45So the big misconception
16:47is that we have
16:48good memories.
16:49We don't.
16:50Our brain
16:51reconstructs things,
16:53elaborates,
16:54forgets to include
16:56things.
16:57There's a very
16:57interesting thing
16:58when people get
16:59together,
16:59there's a group
17:00reinforcement of
17:02the common story.
17:04It's not malicious,
17:05it's just the way
17:06we are.
17:11I desperately
17:12wanted to track down
17:13that original
17:14Channel 9 news footage
17:15which aired that night
17:17and which had interviews
17:18apparently with
17:19the witnesses.
17:21And the film
17:22couldn't be found.
17:23It was an empty
17:24film canister.
17:29Lots of people
17:30have memories of
17:31photographs being taken,
17:33so I tried very hard
17:34to find those photos.
17:36But those photographs
17:38have never been seen
17:39in public.
17:40We don't know
17:40what became of them.
17:43But there was a
17:44possible other photo
17:46taken four days before
17:47on the 2nd of April
17:49that may have had
17:51some connection
17:51to what happened
17:52at Westall
17:53taken by a man
17:54called James Kibble.
17:58James Kibble
17:59had never spoken
18:00in public
18:01on TV before.
18:04So this is
18:06a print
18:08from the original
18:09photograph taken
18:10by James Kibble.
18:11This is his handwriting
18:12he sent to me.
18:14This was taken
18:15just a few kilometres
18:16away prior
18:17to the landing
18:18at the school.
18:21James Fox,
18:22American filmmaker,
18:23was very interested
18:24in covering both
18:25the James Kibble story
18:26and the Westall story
18:27and possible connections
18:29between the two.
18:31This tremendous
18:31flash of light
18:32and I looked up
18:33and I saw
18:34this object
18:35and I pulled it
18:36I had a Polaroid camera
18:38and I pulled this up
18:38and hit myself
18:39on the face
18:41and I took the picture
18:42and I thought
18:43the photograph here
18:44this is the original Polaroid.
18:46That's it.
18:47This is what it is.
18:49It looked like
18:50it was made out
18:50of some form of metal
18:52and it was engineered
18:53and being an engineer
18:55I was sure
18:55it was
18:57and this is when
18:58I took the photograph
18:58and it tipped around
19:00and I could see the bottom
19:00and it looked like
19:01it was rotating
19:02to me.
19:03That was it
19:04and then after that
19:04it sort of gave a bounce
19:06and it rocketed
19:08away to the north
19:08at very high speed.
19:09Can you describe
19:11the acceleration?
19:12It was like
19:13almost insustaining
19:14it's like it had been
19:15shot out of a gun.
19:17Wham!
19:17You know.
19:23When I look at this photo
19:25I think
19:25wow
19:26it's a great photo
19:27but of course
19:28you can look at it
19:29and think
19:29well
19:30is that
19:31a bicycle bell?
19:33Is it
19:33a hubcap?
19:35And I don't know.
19:36I know what
19:37James Kibble
19:37told me
19:39and
19:41I'm just not
19:42in a position
19:42to know
19:43of course
19:43one way
19:44or the other.
19:49Even though
19:50the news footage
19:51doesn't exist anymore
19:52there are actually
19:53newspaper articles
19:54that date
19:55from that time.
19:59There was a
20:00very small article
20:00in the Age newspaper
20:02the following day
20:05and it should be
20:06just here somewhere
20:07there it is
20:07it was tiny
20:09and really
20:11didn't give any
20:11extra details
20:13except to say
20:14there had been
20:15a weather balloon
20:15launched in Melbourne
20:17that morning
20:17and given the wind
20:19on that day
20:21it's possible
20:22that the thing
20:23that was seen
20:23at Westall
20:24was that weather balloon.
20:28So that's a
20:30weather balloon.
20:31It's definitely
20:32the wrong shape
20:33isn't it?
20:36It wasn't a weather balloon.
20:38It had some elements
20:40of the shape
20:40and colour
20:41of a weather balloon
20:42and it was silver
20:43and circular
20:44in looking up
20:45from underneath
20:46but nothing hanging
20:48underneath it
20:49as a payload.
20:51Now if we were
20:52to invoke
20:53the principle
20:54of Occam's razor
20:55which basically says
20:56the simpler explanation
20:58is often the best
21:00one to choose
21:00then the weather balloon
21:02is a very likely candidate
21:04but that's not to write off
21:06and discount
21:07what they're saying
21:08it's just not enough
21:09for us to make
21:10a proper conclusion.
21:12There's no evidence
21:13that it actually
21:14was a weather balloon
21:16there's no mention
21:16of the weather balloon
21:17being collected
21:18and being identified.
21:21When I looked
21:21into the weather data
21:22for that day
21:23it actually didn't stack up
21:25at all.
21:25The winds
21:26as predicted
21:27and as reported
21:28actually blew
21:29in the opposite direction.
21:34The Dandenong Journal
21:35was the only newspaper
21:36that covered this story.
21:38For me I found
21:38that really surprising.
21:40So this is the first article
21:42but it was really
21:43in the follow-up article
21:44that we got
21:45a little bit more information
21:46about what happened.
21:48There were some interviews
21:49with a couple of the kids
21:51and Andrew Greenwood
21:53the science teacher.
21:56He never spoke
21:57about it again publicly
21:58until James Fox
22:00and I and others
22:01were able to encourage him
22:02to speak on camera
22:03for the first time
22:05but he didn't want
22:05his face to appear.
22:07Two older men
22:08one in uniform
22:09asked for my description
22:11of what I'd seen.
22:12I was then told
22:13that I hadn't seen anything
22:15but I'd made it all up
22:17possibly because
22:18I was drunk
22:19and that they would
22:20have to report that fact
22:21to the education department
22:22and I would lose my job.
22:25I was told
22:26that I would be prosecuted
22:28and that I had
22:29to keep quiet about it.
22:30Why did I have
22:31to keep quiet?
22:35I heard reports
22:36that he had been
22:37threatened and told
22:37that his reputation
22:38was on the line.
22:39He went very quiet.
22:41I think it cost him
22:42to say what he had to say.
22:43Others might have been
22:44more circumspect
22:45but we knew
22:47he had seen something.
22:51So many witnesses
22:52had seen
22:53five planes.
22:57In the Dandenong Journal's
22:59final article
22:59they were going
23:01very hard
23:02trying to find
23:03the five pilots.
23:06The five planes
23:08seemed to be
23:09somehow connected
23:11to the UFOs.
23:13And they tried
23:14very hard
23:15to find those pilots
23:16but never did.
23:20Basically
23:21the newspaper
23:21were saying
23:22the trail
23:23had gone cold
23:24and nobody
23:25would talk to them.
23:26The school
23:27wouldn't talk
23:27the Moorabbin Airport
23:29wouldn't talk
23:30and that they
23:32suspected
23:32that somebody
23:33had actually
23:34put pressure
23:35on the school.
23:37The fact that
23:38the story
23:38seemed to have been
23:39shut down
23:40by somebody
23:41would make me think
23:42it's more likely
23:43to have been
23:44military involvement
23:45or government involvement.
23:47Do you know
23:48like where it came from?
23:50Well I wish I did.
23:51Did it look new
23:52or did it look
23:53like old and rusty?
23:55Well I thought
23:56it was pretty
23:56new looking.
23:57It was 1966
23:59the Cold War
24:01was on
24:01the Space Race
24:02was on
24:02it was a time
24:03of rapid change.
24:05A day of wild
24:06excited scenes
24:07of welcome
24:08for President Johnson
24:08in Sydney.
24:11There were lots
24:12of theories
24:13for what had been
24:14seen at Westall.
24:171966
24:17was definitely
24:18a time
24:19of a very
24:19burgeoning
24:20relationship
24:21between Australia
24:22and the United States.
24:24We believe
24:25that it is right.
24:27that the strong
24:28should help
24:30the weak
24:31defend
24:32their freedom.
24:36Our alliance
24:37with the Americans
24:38was a particularly
24:39strong one
24:40and we had
24:41something of a
24:41dependence
24:42on each other
24:44not only in terms
24:45of personnel
24:46but also
24:46of equipment.
24:51Melbourne
24:52as a city
24:53was a very busy
24:54place in terms
24:54of government
24:55research and
24:56development
24:56and not very far
24:58away from Westall
24:59there was the
25:00government aircraft
25:02factories
25:02and the
25:04aeronautical
25:05research laboratories.
25:07Both of those places
25:09were trying to
25:10progress experimentation
25:12with different
25:13sorts of aircraft.
25:18The threat
25:18of nuclear
25:19attack
25:19was very much
25:20on people's
25:21minds.
25:23There was
25:24a program
25:26called
25:26Highball
25:27and it was
25:27a cooperative
25:28program
25:28between
25:29the Australian
25:30government
25:30and the
25:31American
25:32government's
25:33Atomic Energy
25:34Commission
25:34to send up
25:35these very large
25:37high altitude
25:38balloons
25:39to measure
25:39the presence
25:40of nuclear
25:41fallout.
25:45Some of those
25:46balloons got
25:47away.
25:48Did it happen
25:49that one of
25:50these sophisticated
25:51balloons drifted
25:52down to Melbourne?
25:54It could have.
25:56Why not?
25:58It would explain
26:00possibly the
26:01appearance of
26:02government officials
26:03at the school.
26:04There hasn't been
26:04any supporting
26:05evidence to
26:05confirm that
26:07hypothesis today.
26:09but that's
26:09one that's
26:09been put
26:10forward.
26:19I had never
26:20heard of what
26:20had happened
26:21at Westall
26:22until a
26:23journalist
26:23approached me
26:24and asked
26:25me as a
26:25historian and
26:26a researcher
26:27to see what
26:27I could find
26:28particularly
26:28with my
26:29defence
26:29background.
26:31I don't
26:32really know
26:33of course
26:34what those
26:35three UFOs
26:36were.
26:39I have a
26:39high degree
26:39of confidence
26:40however that
26:41they were part
26:41of a research
26:42and development
26:43project which
26:44was underway
26:45in Australia.
26:47I personally
26:48believe it could
26:49have been a
26:50United States
26:51project which
26:52they were
26:53developing here
26:54in conjunction
26:55with us using
26:56our expertise.
26:58I am reasonably
27:00confident that
27:00what happened
27:01at Westall
27:02on that day
27:03was that
27:04something certainly
27:04went wrong.
27:06That would
27:07account for the
27:08rapidity,
27:09incredible rapidity
27:11of the troops
27:12if I can call
27:13them that
27:13who responded
27:14within the hour
27:16on that day.
27:18I don't
27:19discount that
27:20it could have
27:21been top secret
27:22military technology
27:23that was being
27:24tested or
27:25trialled and
27:26an operation
27:28went not
27:31according to
27:31plan.
27:32But again
27:32where's the
27:32evidence to
27:33support that?
27:34That's what
27:34we're trying to
27:35find.
27:38So I've
27:39submitted many
27:40many Freedom of
27:41Information Act
27:41requests trying
27:42to get some
27:43documentary evidence
27:44but unfortunately
27:45there has been
27:46no explanation
27:47provided by the
27:48Australian Government
27:49or the Australian
27:49Department of Defence
27:50as to what was
27:51responsible for
27:52what was seen
27:54in the skies
27:54above Westall
27:55High School.
27:59I guess I'm
28:00lucky to have
28:00had the chance
28:00to see it
28:01but you know
28:02a bit of a
28:02sliding doors moment
28:03didn't affect me
28:04in any way
28:04you know
28:05no one came
28:06and boomed me up
28:08certainly
28:08there's ongoing
28:09interest in the
28:10story from people
28:11who weren't there
28:11because it's pretty
28:12unusual I guess
28:13looking back
28:13from 60 years
28:14later
28:16It's okay
28:17to talk about
28:18it now
28:18you know
28:19saying look
28:20we saw something
28:21that was so
28:22different all
28:23those years ago
28:25at my age
28:26now
28:27it doesn't
28:28matter if
28:29somebody thinks
28:30that I'm a
28:30little bit
28:31loony
28:31it has no
28:33relevance
28:33I know
28:34what I saw
28:36We're all
28:37telling the
28:37truth
28:41I know
28:42what I saw
28:42and
28:43end
28:44it
28:44story
28:45and I'm
28:45not
28:46accountable
28:46to anybody
28:47but myself
28:57So where we
28:58are now
28:58is the
28:58UFO
28:59playground
28:59at the
29:00Grange
29:02I actually
29:03suggested
29:04to the local
29:05council
29:06that it might
29:07be a good idea
29:08to put something
29:09here
29:09some sort
29:09of commemoration
29:10of what had
29:11happened
29:12all those
29:12years ago
29:17History is
29:18something that's
29:18really fragile
29:19and so having
29:20something physical
29:21here
29:21then creates
29:22an opportunity
29:23for people
29:23who have come
29:24afterwards
29:25to know that
29:26something happened
29:27that day
29:27something mysterious
29:29something real
29:31and like all
29:33the witnesses
29:33who were here
29:34that day
29:34I too
29:35just want
29:36to know
29:37if there's a truth
29:38to be revealed
29:39I think it's time
29:40to reveal it
29:41and I think we
29:42as the public
29:43can handle it
30:32have a great
30:32of hope
30:32I think it's time
30:32to reveal it
