00:00:28They became famous due to their skills in navigation and geography.
00:00:33One day, the Sultan of Lost Island asked Sinbad and his sailors to go on a journey
00:00:39to retrieve a treasure that is supposed to be on Cyclops Island.
00:00:45Now, the Sultan has given many missions to Sinbad in the past,
00:00:49but this time, the reward was above and beyond any of Sinbad's expectations.
00:00:55Half of the treasure will be given to him.
00:01:00To be sure, he will return the treasure.
00:01:04The Sultan sent a few of his personal guards to assist him to the eye.
00:01:11He took a few days to get the boat ready to sail.
00:01:14Sinbad, his sailors, and the Sultan's guards leave Lost Island to get to Cyclops Island.
00:01:22Once, they were able to see Cyclops Island on the horizon.
00:01:27It was time for Sinbad and his sailors to prove their skills to the guards

00:16:04It's a great honor and privilege
00:16:06for me to be out here, a part of such an incredible event, the Sydney Humanoe Easter Show, I believe
00:16:12is maybe the most spectacular event in the southern hemisphere of the entire world, and
00:16:18what an honor as a career entertainer to be invited to witness that and be a part of it.
00:16:26Now that's some great entertainment going on, we're going to try and keep the momentum
00:16:29up here with a cannon shot. I'm going to tell you a little bit about what I'm going to
00:16:34experience here and what's going to happen in front of you and where I come from. See,
00:16:38I'm a second generation human cannonball. When I was just a kid, I used to watch my daddy
00:16:43get glassed out of cannons all the time. And I also remember the day that my father brought
00:16:50the first Guinness World Record home to the family for the farthest flying human cannonball
00:16:54in history. I'm very proud to say that since that day, the world records have never left
00:17:01our family. Now my career has lasted 29 years. And like anything, I started at the very beginning,
00:17:08and over the years I've gotten farther and farther. Our science, our cannons, everything
00:17:13has improved. And today I'm standing on top of cannon number eight. This cannon is handcrafted
00:17:21designed and designed and built by my family with one purpose of being the most powerful human cannon
00:17:28ever built for this crazy purpose of blasting ourselves out for your entertainment. Maybe more
00:17:35importantly than being the most powerful, this is the most accurate human cannon that I've ever produced,
00:17:41the most stable in a firing position. And over the years, it's allowed us to fire me up to
00:17:47unprecedented heights. And today is no different. We're going to take this cannon, we're going to
00:17:53point it way up into the air for launch. I'm going to climb down inside at the very bottom
00:17:58of the gun and prepare myself for a blast that will fire me from zero to about 70 miles per
00:18:05hour
00:18:06in about one half of a second. What I prepare for inside when I'm in the cannon, I'm at the
00:18:12bottom
00:18:12of the gun. And I am in one of the most intense environments, heart-pounding environments,
00:18:18imaginable for me at least. Because I know that five seconds after this cannon fires, my fate
00:18:25will be determined. And in order to have a successful outcome, I need to get them to be in a
00:18:31perfect
00:18:31position to resist the forces of the cannon on acceleration to get blasted up well over 75 feet
00:18:38high this afternoon. Once I get to the top of that cannonball, that's when I really spot
00:18:44my target and begin a full somersault to accelerate back down and come crashing into the red landing
00:18:51net. Now that netting is the only thing between myself and a very rough day out here. So right
00:18:57now, I'm going to take one last trip down to the netting to make sure that it's ready to catch
00:19:03me.
00:19:03And while I do that, what do you guys say? We fire up the cannon and get it loaded for
00:19:08launch.
00:19:09Are you guys ready?
00:19:12All right, Jimmy, here we go. It's showtime.
00:19:16Ah, yes. David the Bullard Swift coming down to this, ladies and gentlemen.
00:19:24As David said, the 13-foot cannon there at the 55-degree angle.
00:19:31At the peak of this last night, I'll tell you what, it is quite the angle indeed. He's
00:19:35set a lot of records that exist for visitors, but he is going for height for extra entertainment
00:19:41for you out there, Jimmy.
00:19:44How about it, David?
00:19:49And his catching net over here. David was telling me during the media release, he was saying
00:19:53that it's really important the tension of his catching net. If it's too tight, he's going
00:19:59to bounce, he's going to end up over the side of this anyway. And he's too loose, makes his
00:20:04way all the way down to the ground anyway, and he's lights out.
00:20:15How about it, David?
00:20:16And he needs some more. Let's get some more. Come on up here, Jimmy.
00:20:23This is going to be answering more of the ladies and children.
00:20:27David, how's it looking out there, my friend? We're having a problem tonight.
00:20:32Have a ride. Now, as I speak, my son Maverick is actually inside of the cannon control room.
00:20:42He's doing the hiring and firing here to speak, and right now he's making sure that the cannon
00:20:48will load with the right amount of pressure and accuracy to blast me safely to my landing target.
00:20:55Now, in just a moment, we will receive the signal, but the cannon is loaded.
00:21:01At that time, I'll climb on top, we'll raise the gun up into firing position, and I'm going
00:21:06to disappear down inside the mouth of a loaded gun.
00:21:11Now, once I'm ready to fire, and all systems are low, Tommy will begin to count down backwards
00:21:17from 10, down to blast off, and I ask you guys all to please make a lot of noise and
00:21:24help us
00:21:24count it down. Would you do that for me, please?
00:21:31Alright, that's it. Time to put down the microphone and put on the crash out, and I'll see you on
