00:02I'm Andy, this is Jen, we're a team out on a mission!
00:05Our magic club takes us on a dino expedition!
00:08We're going back to 68 million years ago!
00:11It's Andy's Dino Island!
00:13Ready, set, go!
00:14One, two, three, four, let's all go to Andy's Dino Island!
00:20It's time to throw!
00:21Following the dino, discovering what they do!
00:26Yeah, I used to come through!
00:27The expedition tent is our base camp and our home!
00:30We're back in the contagious times, where dinos roam!
00:33Perhaps we'll see a T-Rex or a Raptor when we go!
00:36So let's have a great show!
00:38It's time to start the show!
00:39On two and four, let's all go to Andy's Dino Island!
00:44You can do it!
00:45And join the crew!
00:47Following the dino, discovering what they do!
00:51Yeah, go to!
00:53Go to Andy's Dino Island!
00:55Andy's Dino Island!
00:59Yeah!
01:04He's still here!
01:06Ho, ho, ho, ho!
01:09Oh!
01:10Hi!
01:10I'm Andy!
01:12I've spent the morning mapping Dino Island, so I thought I'd take a rest and enjoy a nice,
01:16delicious breakfast!
01:18I made it myself, and I can't wait to try it!
01:20I call it my Super Sensational Sunrise Sarni!
01:24It's got all my favourite ingredients in it!
01:27Beef, lettuce, tomato, meatballs, tuna, sweet corn, mayo, cheese, ketchup, scrambled eggs, oh!
01:34And broccoli!
01:35Ho, ho, ho!
01:35Perfect combination!
01:37And do you know what makes it even better?
01:38I've gone so far back in time, that birds like seagulls haven't evolved yet!
01:44So nothing can swoop down and take it from my hands!
01:48Now for the best bit, the first bite!
01:55Hey!
01:56Where'd my sandwich go?
01:59I forgot about the pterosaurs!
02:02Give me back my breakfast, you prehistoric pest!
02:08Not exactly what I had in mind!
02:14Ah!
02:16Ah!
02:32Hi Jen!
02:32Ah! Hi Andy! How was your trip to the desert? Did you have a nice breakfast?
02:36Not so much. A pesky pterosaur swooped down and stole my super-sensational sunrise sarnie.
02:42Oh, that's a shame. I know how much you love your sandwiches.
02:45Yeah. Not to worry, though. Lunchtime's not far away. What are you up to?
02:49Oh, I'm using my seismograph to do some research on plate tectonics.
02:54Plate tech who?
02:55Plate tectonics. It's a scientific theory that the planet's surface is like a giant jigsaw puzzle
03:00made up of lots of different pieces called continental plates that are constantly moving around each other.
03:06So that's why the map of the Earth is slowly changing.
03:09Yes, but very, very, very...
03:12Very?
03:13Very slowly.
03:15And when two continental plates move against each other, they can cause the ground to shake.
03:20Like a tremor or an earthquake.
03:22Exactly. And that's what I'm measuring here on my seismograph.
03:26Oh, in fact, I think I can hear a small earthquake right now.
03:32Oh, no, actually, Jen, that's just my tummy rumbling.
03:35I am so hungry.
03:37Oh, you poor thing.
03:38Nothing that a bit of food won't fix.
03:40Fancy joining me on one of my practically perfect prehistoric picnics?
03:44Oh, I'd love to, Andy, but I'm so busy.
03:46I want to take lots more seismic readings from all over the island.
03:49Maybe I can help.
03:51Really?
03:51Yes. I can take some readings on my gizmo whilst I'm out on the picnic.
03:55Oh, that's a great idea. Thanks, Andy.
03:57No problem.
03:58Time to go on a Dino Island adventure.
04:08Hat, waistcoat, backpack, gizmo, check.
04:18Ah, there's nothing like a nice walk on the plains to build up your appetite.
04:23And I am hungrier than a 10-tonne titanosaur.
04:26Can't wait to find a good spot so I can tuck into my practically perfect prehistoric picnic.
04:31But first, I need to get a seismic reading for Jen.
04:34Let's find out what's going on underground.
04:42Great. Everything seems calm.
04:46Oh, there.
04:48Hi, Jen. How are you getting on?
04:50Really well, thanks. I've been getting lots of good seismic readings from around the island.
04:54Great. And I've just taken one here, too, on the plains. Everything's fine.
04:58Great. If you could get one at the river, too, that would be amazing.
05:01Of course. I'll head there straight after my picnic.
05:05Thanks, Sandy, but be careful.
05:06From all the readings I've been getting, it looks like there might be a few small earth tremors coming your
05:11way.
05:11Oh, thanks for the warning. I'll be extra careful.
05:15Besides, I don't want anything ruining my practically perfect prehistoric picnic.
05:24Now, what do I have here?
05:27Oh, yes. There we go.
05:30How about this for a perfect spotty?
05:32Amazing views in every direction.
05:35Nice clear skies.
05:36And no pesky pterosaurs to come and steal my food.
05:39It's me and my picnic.
05:41Now, what should I start with?
05:43You?
05:43Oh, you.
05:45I think I'm going to go with you, Celery.
05:48My favourite.
05:50Oh.
05:52Where did you guys come from?
05:55No.
05:56No.
05:57Leave my food alone.
05:58No.
05:59No.
06:00Hey, my currants.
06:02That's the problem with pachycephalosaurus.
06:04They may not want to eat me, but they do want to eat anything that's made of plants, including most
06:09of my picnic.
06:10Shoo.
06:11Shoo.
06:12Go on.
06:13You picnic-pinching pachycephalosaurus.
06:16Good.
06:16That's it.
06:17Now, let me eat my picnic in peace.
06:20Whoa.
06:22What is that?
06:25Oh, hang on.
06:26That must be one of the ground tremors Jen warned me about.
06:29It's okay, everyone.
06:31There's probably no reason why we should prove...
06:36Panic!
06:40Oh, my...
06:42Oh, that's my celery ruined, covered in a thick layer of dust.
06:47Just like me.
06:49Oh, what else have I got?
06:53Oh.
06:55A meaty samosa.
06:57Oh.
06:59Pork pie.
07:01A slice of pepperoni pizza.
07:05All for me.
07:10Or maybe not.
07:15It's a T-Rex.
07:18Luckily, I'm covered in so much dust, I don't think he can smell me.
07:23But he can definitely smell my food.
07:26Maybe this will distract him.
07:29Here goes.
07:29Oh.
07:48Oh.
07:51That was lucky. T-Rex have an incredible sense of smell, so my food distraction worked a treat.
07:58Hopefully, I'll be able to find somewhere else to have one.
08:02Picnic!
08:18Well, that will teach me for not watching where I'm going.
08:24And now the water's washed all the dust off, it looks like the T-Rex can smell me.
08:29Excuse me.
08:35Whoa!
08:48Phew! That was close.
08:51I think I'll head straight to the river.
08:53I can grab that extra seismic reading for Jed.
08:56And it should be a great place for a picnic, too.
09:00Boy, am I hungry.
09:01Oh!
09:10There! That's the river reading done. I'd better let Jen know.
09:16Hi, Jen!
09:18Everything all right? You look a bit wobbly.
09:21Oh, I'm fine. It's just another earth tremor out here in the desert.
09:25Oh. I've taken a reading here at the river and the ground is perfectly still.
09:29Oh, interesting. Thanks, Andy. I'm heading back to base camp now to look at all the data we've collected.
09:35And I'm finally going to have my picnic. See you later, Jen.
09:38All right. Let's see.
09:43Ah. What food I have less.
09:51Oh, a nice bowl of tomato soup. Perfect.
09:59Well, that isn't perfect.
10:01Oh, the ground isn't so still here after all.
10:04I'm too hungry to wait for it to stop.
10:16Oh, there goes my delicious tomato soup.
10:20Well, at least the shaking's stopped.
10:24Oh, I've still got a doughnut left.
10:29Hey.
10:30Huh?
10:32Oh.
10:32Get...
10:33What the...
10:34Oh.
10:35I forgot that flies were already around in the time of the dinosaurs.
10:38Oh.
10:39And this one really wants my doughnut.
10:41Get away. Shoot.
10:42Get out of it.
10:43Yeah.
10:44Oh.
10:45Finally.
10:47I can now enjoy my doughnut.
10:51Oh, no.
10:53Oh.
10:54Yeah.
10:54What?
10:56Get out of it.
10:58Oh.
10:59Oh.
11:00Leave my doughnut alone.
11:02Hey.
11:03Stop.
11:04Stop.
11:05Get out of it.
11:06Shut up.
11:07Oh.
11:08Unfortunately, there's only one thing for it.
11:11Farewell, my friend.
11:13And you...
11:14Oh.
11:20Have I got rid of the flies?
11:22And my doughnut.
11:24I'm not sure the river's the best place for a picnic after all.
11:28Let's find somewhere better.
11:30Oh.
11:45At last.
11:46A place where I can see all around me and somewhere where no dinosaurs can reach.
11:50And there are definitely no flies.
11:52And the best thing is, I've still got some of my practically perfect prehistoric picnic left.
11:58My super special salad sandwich.
12:00With all the trimmings.
12:02And I cannot wait.
12:06Hey.
12:08No stealing my food this time, you pesky pterosaurs.
12:10I've got my eye on you.
12:12No one's taking this sandwich.
12:14Huh.
12:18Oh, no.
12:19Not again.
12:21Oh.
12:23Every time I go to have my picnic, the ground starts shaking.
12:27And this time, there's nowhere to go but down.
12:30What am I going to do?
12:32I can't jump.
12:33Oh.
12:34I'm too high up.
12:37There's only one thing for it.
12:40Hey, parasols!
12:42If you want my sandwich, come and get it!
12:45Here you go.
12:46One super special salad sandwich with all the trimmings.
12:52Three, two, one.
12:55Lift off!
12:57Whoa!
12:57These parasols like my sandwich with just as much as I do.
13:02If you take me back to camp, this one's all yours, my flying friend.
13:06Woo!
13:07Woo-hoo!
13:18Hi, Jen.
13:19How's it going?
13:20Great.
13:21Thanks to all the readings we took, I've discovered that the island lies just above a spot where two continental
13:26plates meet.
13:27So, there might be a few earthquakes from time to time, but nothing too dangerous.
13:31Well, I'm glad I could help.
13:33And, I think I've finally found the perfect place for my prehistoric picnic.
13:37Really?
13:38Where's that then?
13:41Right here.
13:42I'm too tired to go anywhere else.
13:44See you next time.
14:09See you next time.
