00:00Was Natasha Lyonne ever going to play Alicia Masters?
00:04How did you land on that the way that it was?
00:07You know, I love Yancey Street.
00:09I love, you know, Ben's history.
00:11I loved the idea of creating this place that felt surprisingly grounded and not technologically advanced compared to the rest
00:18of the city.
00:19There's something about Yancey Street that doesn't change.
00:21That's a collision of all these different cultures.
00:24And Ben even says, you know, I love that things don't change down here.
00:27And he's drawn to it.
00:28It's a way that he recharges going back to his neighborhood.
00:31And that's true in the comics as well.
00:33And so I love the idea that he meets somebody special down there that he creates a bond with.
00:38And, you know, you see it in the film, you know, in terms of his shyness about it, you know,
00:44because he is this incredible, you know, character who's so hard and rough on the outside, but so soft on
00:51the inside.
00:51He's the only member of the four who can't change at will and go back to being Ben Grimm in
00:57human form.
00:57And so it was a way to help tell that story of what it's like for him personally and the
01:01cost of that.
01:02And so, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know,
01:02you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know,
01:02you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know,
01:02you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know,
01:02you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know,
01:02you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know,
01:02you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know,
01:02you know, you know, you know, you know
