00:00I want to ask you this. I have a 10 years old daughter and I think that only when you
00:06have kids you become very worried about the future.
00:10I want to ask you, you have two kids, they are very young now, but I want to ask you
00:14how much worried are you about the future.
00:18You are just an actress in a festival, but outside here the other day there was people protesting for what's
00:25happening in Palestine.
00:25Kids are dying, not only kids, but kids are dying in Palestine, but also they are dying in Ukraine and
00:33in other countries.
00:34I would like to ask you how worried you are for the future of our kids and your kids. Thank
00:40you so much.
00:41I'm terrified and it's mortifying. What's happening is no less than a genocide and it's unacceptable.
00:55I'm terrified for my children, for all of our children. On top of everything else, what makes me so sad
01:03is that this disrespect and the discourse in American politics right now is going to be normal to them.
01:16I mean, people who are, the kids who are voting right now at 18, it's going to be totally normal
01:22to them that politics has no integrity.
01:25Politicians lie. There's no empathy and everybody needs to remember that when you ignore what's happening on one side of
01:35the world, it won't be long until it's on your side as well.
01:39And I wish that there was something that I could say, something that I could do to fix this extremely
01:54complex and disgraceful situation that breaks my heart.
01:57But the reality is our fear and speaking too much or answering too many of these questions is that my
02:07words will just be used to add more fire and rhetoric to something that is in the hands of our
02:15elected officials.
02:16And I just want people to stay focused on who is responsible and the things that they can do and
02:22when they need to show up and vote and not let the actors and the artists who are trying to
02:30express freedom of art, freedom of speech, take the heat for the individuals that are actually responsible.
