00:00:00How do you take a story that millions of people already know by heart and make them feel like
00:00:04they're experiencing it for the first time? That's not a simple question. Because when you
00:00:09adapt something as beloved as One Piece, you're not just telling a story. You're making a promise.
00:00:15A promise to every person who grew up with these characters, who cried at these moments,
00:00:19who carried this world with them through different chapters of their own life,
00:00:22and season two of the live action. It doesn't just attempt to keep that promise.
00:00:27It reaches for something deeper. What fascinates me most isn't the spectacle. It's the weight.
00:00:33The way certain scenes land differently when you're watching real human faces carry emotions
00:00:38that used to live in ink and color. There's something almost strange about it. Something
00:00:42that forces you to ask, what does this story actually mean? Not what happens. But what it
00:00:48means. And that's what we're here to explore today. My name is Mipax, and before we dive in,
00:00:53I have to take a second for the people who make this channel worth showing up for.
00:00:57To my YouTube members, Zachary Brewer, Yumnam Renubala, Teth Xchik, Petch the Nepinsonvi,
00:01:04and Antonia Sadiociana, thank you. Genuinely. And to my Patreon supporter,
00:01:11Biaschiznar4, your support keeps this going more than you know. If you haven't seen my season one
00:01:16live action breakdown yet, that link is sitting in the description. Go watch that first.
00:01:20It sets the foundation for everything we're about to get into. But if you're ready,
00:01:24today we're covering the complete story of One Piece live action season two.
00:01:28The story kicks off right where we left those two losers who got absolutely wrecked by Nami
00:01:32and Luffy while trying to steal a Grand Line map in season one. Meanwhile, furry pirates from the
00:01:37notorious Baroque Works organization are currently laying waste to the marine base in Shell's town,
00:01:43leaving everything in total shambles. The remaining soldiers are frantically running for cover to
00:01:48escape their wrath. But then one of the pirates makes an entrance. A woman named Sunday accompanied
00:01:53by her flowers. But these aren't just any flowers, my friend. They allow her to sprout hands wherever
00:01:58she pleases. She walks toward them with absolute confidence, completely unfazed by anyone trying to
00:02:04attack her. Anyone who gets close enough finds her hands sprouting on them, taking them down before
00:02:08she even touches them. She walks up to the last surviving soldier and coldly asks,
00:02:13where do you keep the dead? This is because they are looking for a member of their crew specifically,
00:02:18Mr. Seven from the Baroque Works organization. Just a quick reminder for you. Zorro actually killed
00:02:23Mr. Seven back in the first part because he tried to recruit Zorro into their organization.
00:02:28Zorro flatly refused and took him out instead. So, the big question is, what are they going to do
00:02:33to Zorro now? Can he hold his own against them, or is he in trouble? We're about to find all
00:02:38that out
00:02:39as we continue. They eventually squeeze the info out of the last marine as Zorro is headed for the
00:02:43Grand Line with his captain Luffy. Life on Luffy's ship is as eccentric as you'd expect. Sanji is
00:02:48busy whipping up meals while Usopp is busy wasting all the spices to make his ridiculous bombs.
00:02:54Meanwhile, Nami is locked in, focusing entirely. She's studying the Grand Line map to figure out the
00:02:59path to the One Piece treasure. Sanji suggests they should do some shopping before entering the
00:03:03dangerous Grand Line, especially since Luffy has a bottomless pit for his stomach and they need extra
00:03:09food. Usopp hates the idea and complains to Zorro, asking if he's really okay with this childish
00:03:14shopping trip. Zorro actually agrees with Sanji, saying he needs two more swords since he's currently
00:03:19down to only one. Usopp gives up on Zorro and decides to talk to the captain instead. He tells
00:03:24Luffy they want to head to Logetown, a place known for being incredibly dangerous, just to go shopping.
00:03:31Luffy initially refuses, because he just wants to hit the Grand Line. He's eager to find the One
00:03:35Piece, but Nami mentions that the legendary pirate king, Gold Roger, was actually executed in Logetown.
00:03:41Suddenly, Luffy is hyped to see the very spot where the king met his end. He immediately orders the crew
00:03:47to head there. Flashback to the past, right when Roger was about to face the scaffold. The crowd
00:03:52gathered there was massive, swarming like a colony of ants. Inside the prison cell, Vice Admiral Gar paid a
00:03:58final visit to his old rival. These two legendary figures had spent countless years playing a tiring
00:04:03game of cat and mouse across the oceans. This time, Garp came to deliver the news regarding the official
00:04:08end of the pirate king's era. Even with death looming over him, Roger managed to ask Garp for one final
00:04:14favor, to raise his infant son. He insisted that the child shouldn't be held responsible or bear any
00:04:20guilt just because his father happened to be the king of the pirates. He knew deep down that Garp
00:04:25was fundamentally a good man. After hearing the request, Garp put on a grumpy face as usual,
00:04:30but in his heart, he silently accepted the responsibility. For now, let's get back to Luffy
00:04:35as he enters Logetown, a place crawling with wicked pirates. It's known as the city of the beginning and
00:04:41the end for the pirate world, where the whole One Piece legend started. Nami hands out some money to
00:04:46everyone. She tells them to go buy whatever they want, but warns them to stay alert because the marines
00:04:51are literally everywhere in this town. While they're distracted, they don't notice that someone
00:04:55is watching their every move from a distance. Shortly after, the terrifying Captain Smoker of
00:05:00the marines arrives, a man who has half the pirates in the world crying in fear. He arrives dragging a
00:05:05pathetic pirate to be locked up and immediately asks for someone named Tashigi. His soldier says he
00:05:10hasn't seen her all day. Smoker warns him that the town is starting to retract too many pirates and
00:05:15tells them to stay sharp while he goes on a patrol to see if he can find any other scum
00:05:19to throw in a cell.
00:05:20During this time, Nami is completely absorbed in examining some world map books. Seeing her passion,
00:05:26Usopp pipes up with some encouragement, suggesting that one day, she will be the one to personally
00:05:31draw an entire map of the world all by herself. Nami is absolutely delighted to hear that. She
00:05:37encourages Usopp that he should also do something special for himself, perhaps something related to
00:05:41his hometown and loved ones. A specific name immediately flashes in Usopp's mind. Without wasting a second,
00:05:47he grabs a transponder snail to make her call back home. To talk to Kaeya. At the same time,
00:05:53the perpetually lost Zoro is wandering around looking for a sword shop when he accidentally
00:05:57bumps into a young woman. The moment he sees her face, Zoro completely freezes for about five seconds.
00:06:02So, here's the deal. This Tashigi girl looks exactly like Kuina, the girls Zoro used to train
00:06:07with when they were kids. She offers to help him find his way, thinking he might be lost.
00:06:12To avoid dwelling on painful memories, Zoro brushes it off and continues to the sword shop. Once inside,
00:06:18he shows the owner his cash and asks how many swords that'll get him. The shopkeeper dismissively
00:06:24tells him that's only enough for a kitchen knife, telling him to get lost. Just as Zoro is about to
00:06:29leave, the owner catches a glimpse of the sword he's already carrying and asks to see it. When he unsheathes
00:06:34it,
00:06:34he's absolutely blown away by its quality. He tries to scam Zoro out of it, offering him a huge pile
00:06:39of
00:06:40money or even three other swords in exchange for that one blade. Zoro refuses instantly because that
00:06:45sword is incredibly precious. It belonged to Kuina before she passed away. Right then, Tashigi walks in,
00:06:51absolutely geeking out because she recognizes the blade as a legendary, one-of-a-kind treasure,
00:06:58worth at least a million berries at a minimum. Now that the owner has been caught in his lie,
00:07:03his face falls because he just missed out on a huge profit. Taking advantage of this lucky break,
00:07:09Zoro asks the living encyclopedia Tashigi for her advice on picking out new gear and she happily
00:07:15agrees to help. A bit later, Zoro's attention is caught by a mysterious black blade. Tashigi immediately
00:07:22rushes over to warn him that it's a cursed sword and anyone who dares to use it will eventually meet
00:07:27a tragic end. The shop owner is also breaking out in a cold sweat, advising Zoro to just leave it
00:07:32alone and
00:07:33pick something safe. But our guy Zoro isn't the type to be scared of anything, ever. He boldly
00:07:40declares that he wants to see if the sword's curse is stronger or if his own luck is greater. With
00:07:45that,
00:07:45he tosses the blade high into the air and holds his bare arm straight out to catch it. It's a
00:07:50heart-stopping moment for both the onlookers and the shopkeeper. Swoosh! The sword falls and plunges
00:07:57straight into the floorboards, landing right next to his arm without even grazing a single hair.
00:08:02That's some serious conviction right there. Zoro decides to take the cursed black sword immediately
00:08:07and tells the owner to grab one more so he can complete his set. Elsewhere, Luffy and Sanji are
00:08:13busy scouring the market area for food supplies. Once they have enough, Luffy splits off from the
00:08:17group and goes running around trying to find that old execution square. By pure coincidence,
00:08:22Nami bumps into a guy with a rooster head hairstyle named Bartolomeo. With her world-class thieving
00:08:28skills, Nami swiftly swipes his entire wallet without him noticing a thing. Meanwhile, back at
00:08:32the sword shop, everyone is witnessing a legendary test of Zoro's incredible character and resolve.
00:08:37The shop owner is now completely won over and full of respect. He brings out a treasure of the shop,
00:08:43one of the 50 finest blades in the world, and gives it to Zoro for absolutely nothing. He nods in
00:08:48admiration, remarking that the sword itself has clearly chosen its rightful master.
00:08:52Just like that, Zoro ends up with a collection of top-tier equipment. Zoro now has his full set
00:08:58of three swords. He thanks the lovely Tashigi and walks out of the store looking like a total badass.
00:09:04As night starts to fall, the naive Luffy is still wandering around searching for the
00:09:07execution site when Bartolomeo approaches him, offering to act as a guide. In reality,
00:09:12the guy is just drooling over the thought of Luffy's massive bounty and isn't being helpful at all.
00:09:17He leads Luffy to a nearby circus, and oh boy, Luffy falls right into a giant trap set by Buggy.
00:09:23And it's not just Buggy the Clown there, he's joined by the formidable Alvida as well.
00:09:27When Luffy sees his two former enemies working together, his eyes go wide in total shock.
00:09:32Alvida is still nursing a deep grudge against the kid. Because he wrecked her ship in the past,
00:09:37she swore to make him pay back every bit of that debt with interest. Without wasting words,
00:09:41Luffy immediately launches a powerful Gomu Gomu no pistol right at his opponent's face.
00:09:47But weirdly enough, the moment his fist makes contact with her, it just slides right off harmlessly.
00:09:52It turns out Alvida has eaten the Subei Subei no Mi Devil Fruit.
00:09:55She now automatically deflects any and all physical attacks directed at her.
00:09:59Taking advantage of Luffy's confusion, Alvida uses her power to send him flying back.
00:10:04Buggy seizes the opportunity to slap a pair of special Sea Prism Stone handcuffs on him,
00:10:08instantly neutralizing his Devil Fruit powers. Now, this villainous duo is ready to take their
00:10:14revenge on our main character. At that very same moment, the big boss, Smoker receives intelligence
00:10:19that pirates are causing absolute chaos in the city. He immediately calls his assistant Tashigi to
00:10:24gear up and head out to restore order. Meanwhile, the rest of the crew gathers together and finally
00:10:29realizes that their captain is missing. With no other choice, they start racing around at full speed
00:10:34to find him. It turns out, they were right to worry. Over at the circus, the villainous pair
00:10:39is holding a mock trial of their own making to judge Luffy. The death sentence is quickly handed down.
00:10:44All their subordinates break out into a roar of applause, cheering for the execution.
00:10:48Right at the most critical moment, Luffy's loyal crew members arrive on the scene just in time.
00:10:54Alvida's henchmen charge forward and the two sides clash in an intense battle. Nami and Usopp combine
00:10:59their high IQ tactics, throwing specialized bombs that manage to bypass Alvida's slippery defense,
00:11:05leaving her completely overwhelmed and defeated. In the middle of the melee,
00:11:08the marines also arrive to shut things down. Tashigi takes one look and immediately realizes
00:11:13that Zoro is actually a high-profile pirate after all. Up on top of the execution platform,
00:11:18Buggy has Luffy tightly bound and is holding a sword to his throat, asking if he has any final words
00:11:23before he leaves this world for good. Luffy takes a deep, steady breath and shouts out at the top of
00:11:28his
00:11:28lungs that he will find the one piece and become the king of the pirates. Even facing death, he
00:11:33manages to give a wide, iconic grin, apologizing to his crew because he won't be able to continue
00:11:39the journey with them. That legendary smile completely shocks Smoker's psyche, reminding him
00:11:44instantly of the legendary Roger from years ago. Just as the blade is about to fall, a massive colossal
00:11:50bolt of lightning strikes down from the heavens right onto Buggy, completely destroying the execution
00:11:54platform in the process. Luffy falls to the ground surviving by a miracle while Bartolomeo watches in
00:12:00absolute disbelief. After that, he quickly reunites with his friends and they start running away as fast
00:12:05as their legs can carry them. While retreating, Zoro is cut off by Tashigi. She is absolutely fuming
00:12:12because she realized she accidentally helped a pirate obtain some incredibly powerful swords. Without
00:12:17another word, the two of them engage in a fierce duel. At first, Zoro holds back and stays on the
00:12:22defensive,
00:12:22but with just a few basic moves, he easily defeats Tashigi. He then turns his back and walks away.
00:12:28On another part of the battlefield, Luffy and Sanji are facing off against Smoker. The two of them
00:12:33charge in with everything they've got to attack him, but Sanji is quickly taken out of the fight.
00:12:39An angry Luffy launches a flurry of punches at Smoker's face, but unfortunately, the captain has a
00:12:44logia-type devil fruit that turns his body into intangible smoke. Physical hits are as harmless as a light
00:12:49breeze to him. Turning the tables, Smoker uses his smoke to pummel Luffy and then pins him firmly to
00:12:55the ground. He tells Luffy that his life isn't even worth his bounty before preparing to finish him off.
00:13:00Just as things look completely hopeless, a mysterious man suddenly appears and stops Smoker's
00:13:05killing blow in its tracks. He declares that the boy's time hasn't come to an end yet, and then he
00:13:10vanishes along with Smoker. Sanji rushes over to pull Luffy up and both of them were totally confused,
00:13:15having no idea what mysterious force to save them. They decide to just focus on escaping back to the
00:13:19ship for now. From a distance, the mysterious man watches the ship depart with a satisfied smirk,
00:13:25feeling content because Luffy is finally starting to look like a true pirate. That night in a local bar,
00:13:30Tashige is still sulking over her defeat at Zoro's hands. Suddenly, the beautiful Robin glides over and
00:13:37speaks to her with sweet words. Ignoring Tashige's cold attitude, Robin begins to shower her with praise for
00:13:43her intelligence and skills, and then drops a business card, inviting her to join the Baroque
00:13:48Works organization. The moment the bar door opens and Smoker walks in, Robin has already vanished
00:13:54without a trace. Smoker is absolutely furious right now because Luffy managed to slip through
00:13:58his fingers. He begins to visualize the image of Roger again, realizing with a click of his tongue
00:14:03that these two are cut from the very same cloth. Ever since Roger's death, knowledge of the One
00:14:11Pirates. Smoker is determined not to let some rookie like Luffy inherit the Pirate King's will.
00:14:16He decides he's going to head straight into the Grand Line to tear out the problem by its roots.
00:14:21By the time the next morning rolled around, Luffy and his crew had successfully navigated their ship
00:14:25to the very foot of Reverse Mountain, the iconic and intimidating gateway that marks the official
00:14:30starting point for any pirate daring enough to enter the treacherous waters of the Grand Line.
00:14:35The entire team is fired up and ready to go, full of energy and bloodlust,
00:14:39prepared to face whatever storms lie ahead. Not long after setting sail, they luckily manage
00:14:45to cross over the mountain range. However, what greets them on the other side is the massive,
00:14:49gaping mouth of a giant whale. When Luffy finally wakes up, he finds... himself lying alone on the
00:14:55shore. It turns out that thanks to some classic protagonist luck, he was thrown clear, while his
00:15:01friends weren't as fortunate. Just as he's feeling completely lost and unsure of how to handle a
00:15:05situation, he encounters the lighthouse keeper who shows off some incredible skills. The old
00:15:10man lands a tranquilizer dart with pinpoint accuracy from a distance, knocking out the massive whale in
00:15:15a single heartbeat. After that's done, he turns to Luffy and advises him that his crew is likely long
00:15:20gone, so he should stop dreaming and just accept reality. Naturally, Luffy says no way. He stubbornly
00:15:27insists on getting his friends out and starts pestering the old man to spill the beans on the history of
00:15:32this enormous whale. Realizing he can't get rid of the annoying kid, the old man gives in and tells
00:15:37him a heartbreaking story. It turns out he's been guarding this lighthouse for years and hasn't really
00:15:41liked anyone. Neither people nor animals usually take a liking to him. That was until one day when
00:15:47the rumbar pirates stopped by. This crew was a bunch of party animals who were always singing and making
00:15:53music, and they even had a baby whale named Laboon following them. Little Laboon was lonely and found
00:15:58their music so captivating that he just kept following them until he eventually became a
00:16:02core member of their crew. Their leader, Yorkie, cherished Laboon like a precious treasure and was
00:16:07ready to protect him at all costs. But the old man knew all too well that the monster-infested Grand
00:16:12Line was no place for a young defenseless whale. After being convinced, Yorkie decided to leave Laboon
00:16:17in the old man's care while the crew ventured into the Grand Line. Before departing, they promised
00:16:22they would return soon to pick him up, but as they say, life is full of unexpected twists.
00:16:28Rumors began to circulate that the entire crew had perished, but Laboon stubbornly refused to
00:16:33believe the news. Day after day, he would slam his head against the cliffside, determined to break
00:16:38through the mountain and swim into the Grand Line to find his friends. If the old man didn't use
00:16:43tranquilizers on him every day, the whale would have probably killed himself with his stubbornness long
00:16:48ago. However, because of the frequent doses, Laboon is starting to build a tolerance and the medicine
00:16:54isn't as effective anymore. Hearing this, Luffy is moved to tears and says there must be a way to
00:16:59knock some sense into him so he can finally face the truth. The old man finds Luffy's comment annoying
00:17:05and fires back, telling him to look at himself since he can't even accept that his own crew is gone.
00:17:10Meanwhile, Nami's group is still very much alive inside Laboon's stomach, working hard to find an exit.
00:17:15Usopp gets a bright idea believing that inside a whale that swallows ships, there must be some
00:17:21useful equipment lying around. So the long-nosed sniper drags Saji off to scavenge for loot,
00:17:26leaving Zoro and Nami to brainstorm an escape plan. Zoro plans to use a harpoon he just put together to
00:17:31poke a sensitive spot on Laboon to make him sneeze, hoping they can fly out in the process. Nami doesn't
00:17:37think that's a very smart idea. While they're arguing, a woman calling herself Miss Wednesday suddenly
00:17:42appears and swipes Nami's compass. At first she acts all arrogant and superior, but unfortunately
00:17:47for her, she is quickly intercepted by Sanji and Usopp. The two of them even manage to capture her
00:17:53partner as well. It turns out these two were plotting to steal the going Mary to make their
00:17:58own getaway. Things just got serious. The crew ties the pair up for interrogation. Seeing their arrogant
00:18:03and boastful attitude about their powers, Zoro immediately senses something familiar about them.
00:18:09As it happens, in the past, he encountered a guy named Mr. Seven who tried to recruit
00:18:13him into a shady organization called Baroque Works. Since he wasn't interested, Zoro just went ahead
00:18:18and sliced the guy in half. And now he's looking at Miss Wednesday with that same exact look of
00:18:23contempt. Zoro decides it's best to just toss them into the acid lake in the whale's stomach
00:18:27and be done with it. But Nami quickly stops him, knowing that Luffy wouldn't approve of such a
00:18:32cold-blooded move. Even though Nami just saved her life, Miss Wednesday stays true to her character and
00:18:37starts mocking Nami for clinging to such a useless, basic compass. She laughs sarcastically and decides
00:18:43to give them a quick lesson. In the Grand Lime, the magnetic fields are so chaotic that normal
00:18:48compasses are complete garbage. To survive here, you need a specialized tool called the Log Pose.
00:18:53Seeing that this amateur pirate crew lacks any decent gear and doesn't even know what a Log Pose is,
00:18:58Wednesday breaks into uncontrollable laughter. Just as the tension is peak drama, Giant Laboon starts
00:19:04waking up from the drugs. The massive whale thrashes around violently, causing the entire ship to shake
00:19:09and everyone to go tumbling. But in that life-or-death moment, even though she has a big mouth,
00:19:14Miss Wednesday who looks tough actually ends up accidentally helping the group. Or at the very
00:19:19least, she manages to pull Usopp back and save his life. Outside, Luffy initially tries to act all tough
00:19:25and aggressive, shouting at the top of his lungs at Laboon. But when he sees the massive whale,
00:19:29doesn't even blink, he immediately switches his strategy. He clears his throat and starts loudly
00:19:34singing the exact same favorite song that Laboon's old pirate crew used to sing. Surprisingly,
00:19:40this psychological tactic works wonders. Seeing Laboon starting to soften up and look at him,
00:19:44Luffy seizes the chance to use his talk no jutsu, launching into a deep lecture about how in this life,
00:19:51meetings are a matter of fate, people come and go, but there will always be those who choose to stay
00:19:55by her side. Ending his speech, Luffy begs the whale to spit his friends back out, and surprisingly,
00:20:01Laboon obediently complies. The going area is successfully back in the water, with the added
00:20:06bonus of two unwanted tagalongs. Before they set sail again, the whole crew throws a little farewell
00:20:11lunch with the old man. Nami and the others tell Luffy about catching the two prisoners. At the same time,
00:20:17Nami complains about how messed up the Grand Line's magnetic fields are. Their normal compass is useless
00:20:22and the crew is completely unprepared. Unexpectedly, the generous old man sponsors them with the high
00:20:27quality log pose navigation tool that Nami so desperately needs. After that, and before they
00:20:33continue on their journey, Luffy shows off his artistic skills by painting a giant straw hat pirate
00:20:38logo right on Laboon's scarred forehead. He warns the whale not to bash his head into rocks anymore,
00:20:43or he'll ruin that awesome new tattoo, and he'll have to live with the consequences. They promise to
00:20:48return for him eventually. After a tearful goodbye, the crew sets sail with pride to continue their
00:20:53epic adventure. Once the ship is out of sight, the old man pulls out a photo of the former king,
00:20:58Roger, for a quiet chat. He thinks that maybe this kid is the chosen one they've been searching for.
00:21:03The one who might finally be able to claim the One Piece for himself. Switching over to the marines,
00:21:08Smoker is absolutely dying to chase after Luffy, but he's bogged down by annoying red tape and
00:21:12administrative procedures. Entering the Grand Line requires permission from the big boss, Garp.
00:21:17Toshigi hesitantly reminds him about his authority, but Smoker just replies,
00:21:22rules are nothing to me, I don't give a damn. As soon as he finishes speaking,
00:21:26Vice Admiral Garp arrives at Logetown along with the two rookies, Kobe and Homeppo,
00:21:30to have a discussion. The two of them get into a heated verbal sparring match over whether to pursue
00:21:36Luffy. When Garp hears Smoker compare Luffy to Roger, he just dismisses it immediately. Smoker insists,
00:21:42You weren't there, you don't know. That brat has the exact same aura as Roger. I know you're just
00:21:48being soft on your grandson, though. Garp cuts him off right then and there, telling him he's still
00:21:52far too inexperienced. He smoothly explains that a trashy pirate ship could never climb mountains
00:21:57as efficiently as a top-tier marine vessel. They'd probably sink before even reaching the Grand Line.
00:22:03To summarize, the Straw Hat crews nothing more than tiny specks of dust right now. The marines have
00:22:09bigger headaches, like the Kingdom of Arabasta being on the brink of a brutal civil war. Their
00:22:13princess has vanished without a trace, too. On top of that, the Revolutionary Army is rapidly
00:22:18recruiting new members and making moves to overthrow the entire world government. But even that isn't
00:22:24the main issue. Garp came all the way here to give Smoker a new mission. He needs to get moving
00:22:29and
00:22:29hunt down the dark organization known as Baroque Works. This group has its tentacles spreading
00:22:34across every sea, including the Grand Line. And they recently ambushed and completely destroyed
00:22:38the Shellstown outpost. This organization is so secretive that the marines haven't managed to catch
00:22:43a single member yet. Their big boss goes by the name Mr. Zero, but what he looks like remains a
00:22:48massive
00:22:48mystery. While they're in their private meeting, an eavesdropping Tashigi bursts into the room. Just as she
00:22:53looks at the projector screen, she's horrified to recognize the beautiful robin who tried to lure her at the
00:22:58bar the other day. Discovering the connection to Baroque Works, Tashigi decides to stay quiet,
00:23:04keeping the information to herself and not saying a single word to Smoker or Gart. By the end of the
00:23:10meeting, Garp gives the order that they must quickly apprehend one Baroque Works member before they
00:23:14manage to tear apart any more of their bases. After receiving the orders, Smoker plans to leave
00:23:19immediately and tells Tashigi to stay behind and behave herself in Lobetown. But no, she's a different
00:23:24person now. After absorbing some wisdom from Helmepo and Kobe, Tashigi realizes that blindly following
00:23:30orders is for losers. And a real marine has to play by their own rules. She shouts back at her
00:23:35boss,
00:23:36I'm not staying. I have my own targets to hunt down. I swear I'll recover that masterpiece of a sword.
00:23:42From his hands and from anyone else who is worthy of carrying a blade. You'd think Smoker would tear
00:23:47into her for that. But instead, he just nods in approval and lets her come aboard the ship.
00:23:51Returning to the Straw Hat crew, Mr. Nine is being so moody and aggressive that the entire crew is just
00:23:56ignoring him, focusing on Miss Wednesday instead. Even though Wednesday is being all defensive,
00:24:02Luffy just wants to get to know what kind of person she really is. After some casual chatting,
00:24:06he concludes that she doesn't seem dangerous at all. No sooner said than done, he decides to make
00:24:11a completely wild decision to untie her and set her free right then and there. The whole crew freaks
00:24:16out and starts arguing loudly with him, their guard higher than ever. But once Luffy makes up his mind,
00:24:21there's absolutely no stopping him, right in the middle of their noisy argument. Everyone's heart
00:24:26skips a beat because of the appearance of Cactus Island. Mr. Nine and Miss Wednesday seize the golden
00:24:31opportunity to dive overboard into the water and disappear. As soon as the Straw Hat crew sets foot
00:24:36in the small town, they are immediately greeted with suspicious glares and hostile looks from a local
00:24:40residence. Just when they think trouble is brewing, Mayor Igaram pops out of nowhere. He says something
00:24:46that totally shocks the crew. We actually love pirates here, because this is the first stop for
00:24:50rookies right at the entrance of the Grand Line. The townspeople realize that it's much better to
00:24:55throw a party and serve the ocean's outlaws than to stubbornly resist and have their homes destroyed.
00:25:01After that, Igaram takes over as their guide and leads them on a tour through the streets,
00:25:05where they happen to run into a nun. She lets a little taunt slip, saying she hopes his group is
00:25:10more
00:25:10fun than the tulip pirates who were here before. His curiosity peaked. Usopp quickly asks if the
00:25:16tulip pirates are still hanging around the island. Igaram immediately waves off the question to cover
00:25:20it up. Right then, the dinner bell rings, and the villagers lay out a massive, luxurious feast for the
00:25:25pirates. The cost is dirt cheap all they have to do is sit and tell some stories in exchange for
00:25:30food.
00:25:31Who could possibly turn down such a great deal? The entire crew heads straight into the tavern.
00:25:36Usopp takes the chance to tell some absolutely wild tall tales. Luffy is raising his glass and
00:25:41partying hard in the bar to enjoy himself. The only one who doesn't fit in with the comedy show is
00:25:45the
00:25:45dead serious Zoro. Our Mosshead friend's face is all grumpy and full of killing intent, mostly due to
00:25:51the lingering psychological impact of meeting his idol Mihawk. Seeing this, Luffy claps him on the shoulder
00:25:57to comfort him, saying there will be plenty of opponents to test his skills against on the road ahead.
00:26:01While they're partying hard, Luffy suddenly gets a craving for sweets. He remembers,
00:26:07spotting a bakery while they were walking earlier, so he sneaks away from the table.
00:26:11Just as he's stuffing his face with a pastry, Mayor Igaram looms up in front of him. Luffy,
00:26:16with his mouth full, assures him he'll pay the bill and won't skip out. But Igaram flips his
00:26:21personality faster than a pancake, and tells him he doesn't care about some petty change. He flashes a
00:26:26wicked smile and delivers a lecture about how you should never trust anyone. Rewinding a bit,
00:26:31earlier Luffy had warned Igaram that two assassins would be washing up on the island.
00:26:36At the time, the old man acted all clueless and surprised, but in reality, he is a high-ranking
00:26:41agent of the Dark Baroque Works organization. Just as he's threatening Luffy, Miss Wednesday shows her
00:26:46face from behind him. The two of him combine their powers for a sleep-inducing attack. Igaram plays a
00:26:52tune on his musical instrument while Miss Wednesday performs a seductive, hip-shaking dance, which
00:26:57successfully knocks the naive Luffy right out. However, he's not alone, because on the other side,
00:27:02both Sanji and Usopp have also fallen victim to a honey trap technique. Meanwhile, Nami is busy in
00:27:08a drinking contest with a nun. With her legendary tolerance, Nami obviously crushes her opponent.
00:27:14Looking out the window, our boss lady spots a mountain that looks pretty interesting, so she
00:27:18decides to head over and check it out. The drunken nun rambles on about how dangerous that place is,
00:27:23but as the saying goes, the more you forbid something, the more people want to do it.
00:27:27Nami is itching to visit and check it out no matter what. And just as expected,
00:27:31once she arrives, Nami realizes the whole area is just one giant trap. Right as things look bleak,
00:27:37a bizarre and totally unfamiliar voice called out from behind her. It was that creepy local grave digger.
00:27:42After she expertly delivered a few solid thumps to his head to knock some sense into him,
00:27:46she scrambled back toward the tavern to sound the alarm for the rest of the crew.
00:27:50Along the way, she practically tripped over Zoro, who was busy showing off his swordsmanship in the
00:27:56middle of the path. The two of them. They shared a quick look and instantly realized the terrifying
00:28:00truth. This entire town was nothing more than a stage filled with actors working for the Baroque
00:28:05Works organization. Nami immediately sprang into action, formulating a tactical plan on the fly.
00:28:10She decided to track down Luffy and get the going Mary's engine roaring for a quick getaway,
00:28:14while our favorite moss-headed swordsman was tasked with rounding up Usopp and Sanju to get them back
00:28:19to the ship. Once their roles were settled, Zoro gripped his katanas and marched straight into
00:28:24the bar with intent. As soon as he swung the doors open, he spotted Mr. Nine's striking and dramatic
00:28:29pose, clearly waiting for a confrontation. This was exactly the kind of stage Zoro had been itching for,
00:28:34and he was more than ready to let loose and start the real party. Mr. Nine was suffering from a
00:28:39massive
00:28:39case of overconfidence, naively believing that with a hundred to one advantage he could win this with
00:28:45his eyes closed. Unfortunately for him, he completely underestimated the absolute monster that is Zoro.
00:28:51Our green-haired warrior flipped his hurricane switch, slicing through the waves of Baroque
00:28:56Works minions as effortlessly as a chef dicing up vegetables for a salad. But just as he finishes,
00:29:01more enemies burst through the doors. They managed to knock him back, which only pisses Zoro off.
00:29:06He tears through the remaining group until only a nun is left standing. He hesitates to strike her,
00:29:11but she immediately blows a cloud of blinding poison into his face and stabs him right in the
00:29:16shoulder. Now, Zoro is in a tough spot. Unable to see, Zoro has to rely entirely on his sense of
00:29:23hearing. The moment she lunges at him, he strikes her down for good. He ducks into cover to hide from
00:29:29the others who are armed. Suddenly, he sees a vision of Mihawk who mocks him for struggling against 100
00:29:34low-level fighters. The Phantom Mihawk gives him some advice. He needs to master his two new swords
00:29:40if he ever wants to win a real rematch. Zoro takes the hint and starts wielding the blades in tandem,
00:29:46tapping into their true power to take out enemies from a distance. He fights his way up the stairs,
00:29:51clearing the path as he goes. Our swordsman Zoro runs into one big guy from the Baroque Works
00:29:56organization. He manages to snatch a mallet from him, using it to shatter the wall standing in his way.
00:30:01This turn of events actually works out perfectly for Zoro, as he finds himself face to face with
00:30:06the two thugs, holding Usopp and Sanji captive. Without breaking a sweat, he wipes them out in
00:30:11the blink of an eye, liberating his crewmates from their confinement before making a swift exit.
00:30:15Zoro spots the big guy waiting for him and wastes no time in knocking him right off the bridge,
00:30:20effectively neutralizing him. He continues on his path, only to be confronted by Mr. Nine,
00:30:25who is thirsty for revenge, but Zoro puts him and another Baroque Works goon down without any trouble.
00:30:32By now our hero has completely mastered his dual wielding style, having successfully dispatched
00:30:36a hundred enemies already. And it's clear he's destined for another epic clash with Mihawk soon.
00:30:42But at this very moment, Luffy finally wakes up from his nap. He's absolutely furious when he
00:30:47realizes that someone had the nerve to try and steal his ship. Meanwhile, Igaram and Wednesday are making a
00:30:52high-speed getaway in a strange, candy-themed car, but Luffy manages to latch onto the vehicle and
00:30:57refuses to let go. Nami spots the chaos and yells at him to bring that car to a halt by
00:31:02any means
00:31:03necessary. Nami demands that Luffy stop them, so he uses his rubbery strength to flip the entire car
00:31:08over with them inside. As Igaram and Wednesday pick themselves up, they try to explain that they were
00:31:14forced into these actions against their will. Suddenly, the atmosphere ships as Mr. Five and Miss
00:31:19Valentine from the Baroque Works organization appear from the shadows behind them, looking like
00:31:23they mean serious business. These two are acting on direct orders from the mysterious leader, Mr. Zero,
00:31:29tasked with eliminating Igaram, Wednesday, and Luffy's entire crew. Mr. Five shows off his truly
00:31:35disgusting power. He sticks his finger in his nose and flicks explosive boogers at them. He ate the
00:31:41bomb bomb fruit, which turns his body's secretions into deadly explosives. Meanwhile, Miss Valentine reveals
00:31:48her own unique ability to manipulate her body weight at will. She can become as light as a feather to
00:31:53float into the air, then instantly change her weight to several tons to crush her enemies like a massive
00:31:58iron ball. Nami makes a break for it, heading toward the boat to escape the impending carnage.
00:32:03Mr. Five and Miss Valentine stay hot on their heels, tracking their every move, but just as they are
00:32:08preparing to launch a final strike, the truth behind Wednesday's identity is about to be revealed.
00:32:13Right before the attack lands, it's revealed that Wednesday is actually Princess Vivi of Alabasta.
00:32:19Fortunately, the agent strike fails to hit its mark and they emerge from the dust unharmed.
00:32:24Rebe then explains the whole situation. She and Igaram had infiltrated the Baroque Works organization
00:32:28as undercover spies to find out who was behind the chaos in her kingdom, and now that they've been
00:32:33discovered, the organization wants them dead. The threat is real, and before they can even plan their
00:32:38escape, they notice Igaram has been badly injured with a large wooden splinter lodged in his side.
00:32:44He desperately tells Vivi that she must flee and return to Alabasta because her people are counting
00:32:49on her. Vivi is understandably devastated and refuses to leave his side, but Igaram stands tall
00:32:54and introduces himself to Luffy, revealing his true title as the captain of the Royal Guard of Alabasta.
00:33:00He emphasizes that Vivi is the princess, and her safe return is the only thing that can prevent a
00:33:04bloody civil war. Nami, ever the businesswoman, sees an opportunity and declares that they won't
00:33:09protect royalty for anything less than a million berries. Igaram agrees to the price immediately,
00:33:14and tells them he'll stay behind to act as a distraction while they make their escape,
00:33:18heading out to confront Mr. 5 and Ms. Valentine head on. Igaram unveils his bizarre secret weapon
00:33:24multiple machine guns hidden inside his massive curly wig and starts blasting away,
00:33:29sending the enemy agents scurrying like cockroaches. This bold move buys just enough time
00:33:33for Luffy and the others to scramble back to the ship where Usopp and Sanji are waiting.
00:33:37Once they are safely on board, Princess Vivi is visibly overcome with worry for the loyal guard
00:33:41who stayed behind to save them. Tragically, Mr. 5 manages to close the distance and triggers a
00:33:46massive explosion right in front of the princess, seemingly ending Igaram's life. Nami rushes to
00:33:52comfort the sobbing Vivi as she mourns the loss of her faithful protector. By the next morning,
00:33:57as they sail across the open sea, the princess is seen clutching Igaram's handkerchief,
00:34:02using it to tie her hair as a solemn tribute to the ultimate sacrifice he made for her.
00:34:07Vivi officially introduces herself to Luffy and explains that she has finally uncovered the true
00:34:12identity of Mr. Zero, the mastermind behind Baroque works. She stresses that she must reach her father,
00:34:18the king, with this vital information to halt the civil war tearing Alabasta apart. Suddenly,
00:34:23an unexpected sight greets them as flower petals begin raining down on the deck from every direction,
00:34:28signaling a new arrival. The mysterious Missal Sunday, the second-highest-ranking member at
00:34:33Baroque Works, appears out of nowhere. The crew instinctively grabs their weapons, but they are
00:34:38totally unprepared for her power. She manifests extra hands that sprout from their own bodies,
00:34:44effortlessly snatching their weapons and tossing them aside like toys. She calmly tells them that
00:34:49she isn't there to kill them, despite having the perfect opportunity to do so. She claims she's just
00:34:54there for a chat and to get a good look at the famous rubber boy, Luffy, even going as far
00:34:59as
00:35:00to snatch the hat right off his head. She warns them that she won't bother killing them now,
00:35:04because they are heading straight for Little Garden, an island so incredibly dangerous that the
00:35:08prehistoric perils there will surely do the job for her. It's a chilling warning about the road ahead.
00:35:14Claiming she has taken a liking to them, she offers a deal, an eternal post that will lead them to
00:35:20a
00:35:20different safe island, where they can hide out and remain undetected even by her own organization.
00:35:25Most of the crew thinks this sounds like a pretty sweet deal to avoid certain death,
00:35:29but Luffy, as usual, has a completely different perspective on how their adventure should go.
00:35:34Luffy lives for the thrill of the unknown, so he grabs the compass and smashes it to pieces
00:35:39right in front of Miss All Sunday's eyes. She just laughs mockingly at his bravado,
00:35:44telling him it's his loss and reminding him that his friends are made of rubber and won't survive
00:35:47the dangers as easily as he might. For a scaredy-cat like Usopp, this sounded like an
00:35:52absolutely golden opportunity that he was ready to jump on immediately.
00:35:57Luffy flatly refused, saying he didn't care about the Grand Line or her pathetic organization.
00:36:02Even though she was rejected, the lady didn't get angry. She just gave a little smirk.
00:36:06She warned him that from the very second they brought that princess aboard their ship,
00:36:10they had essentially stuck their own heads into a guillotine.
00:36:13She wished them good luck before vanishing into thin air,
00:36:16leaving the entire crew to huddle up and figure out their next move.
00:36:19Princess Vivi was absolutely trembling as she warned him that now that Miss All Sunday had
00:36:24located their ship. It was only a matter of time before the entire Baroque Works organization sent
00:36:29an endless wave of assassins to hunt them down. But in stark contrast to Vivi's sheer panic,
00:36:34the Straw Hat crew seemed completely unfazed, acting as if they didn't have a single care in the world.
00:36:40Luffy and the gang were just casually hanging out like nothing was wrong.
00:36:43Through her tears, Vivi thanked Luffy for saving her back on Cactus Island,
00:36:47but she didn't want to drag him into any more danger. She suggested that once they reached
00:36:52Little Garden, they should simply go their separate ways. A little while later,
00:36:56the ship finally drifted into the mysterious shores of Little Garden. The sight that greeted
00:37:00the crew left them all completely stunned. The island was named Little Garden, but it was
00:37:05actually gargantuan in size. As soon as they peered into the dense jungle, they could hear the
00:37:09terrifying roars of massive beasts in the distance. Instead of being afraid,
00:37:14Sanji and Zoro immediately started a competitive bet to see which of them could hunt the biggest
00:37:18monster for dinner. They were dead set on outdoing each other for the title of the best hunter.
00:37:23Meanwhile, Nami and Vivi were busy chatting away as they explored. Vivi was honestly baffled at how
00:37:28this crew could still be smiling and acting so nonchalant. Especially after their intense encounter
00:37:34with Luffy and Missal Sunday earlier that day. Nami just gave her a comforting pat on the shoulder,
00:37:38explaining that it's just the way they are and not to worry too much about it.
00:37:42Suddenly, they noticed that Usopp had completely disappeared. Nami instantly figured out his game,
00:37:47assuming he'd gotten scared and retreated back to the ship to hide. With the group split up,
00:37:52only Luffy and Vivi remained as they ventured deeper into the dark forest. As they walked,
00:37:56they finally understood why the place was called Little Garden. It was because everything there was
00:38:01scaled up to an XXL size, making normal humans look like tiny little insects in comparison.
00:38:07They soon came face to face with a massive long-necked dinosaur that towered over the trees.
00:38:12Luffy, being his usual self, immediately got the urge to try and ride the thing.
00:38:16Without waiting for a second thought, he leaped onto the dinosaur's head and dragged to screaming
00:38:21Vivi up with him, completely ignoring her protests. Since she was stuck up there anyway,
00:38:26Vivi decided to make the best of it, sitting atop the massive beast and sharing stories about
00:38:30her childhood in Alabasta with Luffy. Meanwhile, the bickering duo of Sanji and Zoro encountered
00:38:36a ferocious Tyrannosaurus Rex. For fighters of their caliber, taking down a beast like this was
00:38:41child's play. However, they were so busy arguing over who actually landed the killing blow and who
00:38:46was the better hunter that they didn't even notice what was happening around them. From the distance,
00:38:51the faint sound of childish laughter drifted through the air. In a brief moment of distraction,
00:38:56Zoro suddenly found a strange, magical tattoo mark appearing on his body. He frowned, sensing
00:39:02that something very bad was about to happen. As it turns out, dinosaurs weren't even the biggest
00:39:06things on this island. The true residents were much, much larger. The island was honed to legendary,
00:39:12authentic giants. Back with Nami, she had returned to the ship to check on Usopp, only to come face to
00:39:18face with a massive giant named Brogy. Both of them were absolutely terrified, thinking they were about to be
00:39:24turned into a giant-sized snack. To their shock, however, the giant was actually very friendly
00:39:29and invited them for a meal. Brogy wasn't alone on the island, he had a neighbor and rival named Dory.
00:39:35These two had been locked in an epic combat for the last 100 years, simply because they had nothing
00:39:41better to do. They had been fighting for so long that they actually managed to forget the original
00:39:45reason why they even started hating each other in the first place. Brogy spoke about their homeland,
00:39:50Elboff, a place where you can't go outside without bumping into a giant. While Nami and Usopp were
00:39:55enjoying a drink with one giant, Luffy and Vivi were hitting it off with Dory. It was a classic
00:40:00case of don't judge a book by its cover. Despite their intimidating size and rough appearance,
00:40:05these guys were actually incredibly kind and sweet. The giants were as big as temples,
00:40:10but had hearts of gold. Unfortunately, Mr. Five and Miss Valentine had also successfully tracked
00:40:15them to the island. Upon entering the forest, they ran into Mr. Three, a smug agent who uses a messy
00:40:21candle wax ability to create weapons. He arrogantly announced that he was taking over the mission.
00:40:26He claimed that Mr. Zero knew the other two were incompetent, so he was stepping in to finish the job.
00:40:32He only let them live so he could use their manual labor for his complex plan to take down the
00:40:36two
00:40:36giants that Luffy's crew had just befriended. Mr. Three knew the giants had a ritual of sharing a drink
00:40:42before their battles, so he ordered Mr. Five to sneak an exploding booger bomb into their wine barrel.
00:40:47From a safe distance, the group consisting of Luffy, Nami, Usopp, and Vivi were excitedly watching the
00:40:53giants' legendary combat, completely unaware of the trap being set. Just as the two elders were about
00:40:59to clash with full force, a strange cloud of smoke suddenly started billowing out of Brogy's mouth
00:41:04after he took a drink, signaling that something had gone horribly wrong. The Straw Hat crew watched in
00:41:09horror. At first, they thought Dory might have cheated, but then they spotted the Baroque works
00:41:14agents lurking nearby with sinister looks on their faces. They screamed themselves hoarse,
00:41:19trying to warn the giants, but it was useless. Even though Brogy felt something was wrong inside
00:41:24him, his giant pride wouldn't let him back down from a duel. He believed that dying with honor was
00:41:29better than being called a coward, so he pushed through the pain, but Dory hit him with a crushing
00:41:33blow that knocked his friend Brogy flat on the ground. Luffy, however, missed the climax of the fight
00:41:39because he was already sprinting off to chase down those sneaky Baroque works agents.
00:41:43In the middle of the chaos, Mr. Three's young partner, Miss Goldenweak, stealthily approached
00:41:47Nami. She was alone behind that mysterious tattoo on Zoro earlier, and now Nami was her next target.
00:41:53As soon as the magical paintbrush touched her, things started to get very strange. Both Nami and
00:41:58Zoro suddenly started acting completely dazed as if they were under the influence of something,
00:42:02losing all their will to fight. Seeing her chance, Miss Valentine launched a powerful kick that sent
00:42:07poor Usopp flying into a deep ravine, before capturing Nami as easily as picking up a helpless
00:42:12chicken. Usopp landed right in the middle of the battlefield. After picking himself up,
00:42:16he immediately spilled the beans to Dory about the beer being poisoned with explosives by Baroque
00:42:21works. Hearing the heartbreaking truth that his rival had been sabotaged, Dory was completely devastated
00:42:27by grief. The overwhelming guilt of accidentally dealing a lethal blow to his lifelong friend because
00:42:32of a cheap trick drove him into a frenzy of screams and tears before he disappeared into the jungle.
00:42:37Meanwhile, Luffy was in the middle of a chase when he stopped dead in his tracks,
00:42:41spotting a young girl carrying a tray of paints. His heroic instincts flared up, thinking she might
00:42:46need help. Luffy was about to offer his assistance like a true hero. However, from a distance,
00:42:51Vivi could see right through the enemy's trap and screamed at the top of her lungs for Luffy to get
00:42:56away
00:42:56from there as fast as he possibly could. It was already too late. Luffy fell right into the
00:43:01psychological trap, standing there frozen as he was brought under her control. Seeing the disaster
00:43:06unfold, Vivi tried to bolt, but Mr. Five suddenly appeared and ambushed her. At this point, the crew's
00:43:11only remaining hope rested on Sanji's shoulders. But unfortunately, while his friends were fighting
00:43:16for their lives, Sanji was casually strolling back to the ship, whistling a tune and wondering where
00:43:21everyone had gone. Back at the battle, Luffy was completely trapped by Mr. Three's partner.
00:43:26She was using her magical paint abilities to manipulate him like a puppet. She was forcing
00:43:30him to sit down and play house at a make-believe tea party. Meanwhile, Dory returns to Brogy's cave,
00:43:35wanting to pay his respects to his fallen rival with the proper warrior's farewell. However, he is
00:43:40caught completely off guard when the villainous Mr. Three appears from the shadows to spring his trap.
00:43:46Mr. Three unleashes his wax-wax fruit powers, trapping the giant Dory against the cave wall
00:43:50with a massive amount of hardened wax that is said to be stronger than steel. He completely coats
00:43:55Dory in wax and retreats to his original spot just as Vivi starts to wake up. Vivi regains
00:44:00consciousness only to find herself held captive alongside Nami and Zoro. She quickly realizes that
00:44:05both Nami and Zoro are in a total trance, completely oblivious to the chaos happening around them.
00:44:11Suddenly, Vivi catches sight of a mysterious symbol painted on Nami's leg. So she crawls over and quickly
00:44:16wipes the mark off to break the spell. As soon as the mark is gone,
00:44:20Nami snaps back to her senses immediately. Vivi explains that this hypnotic symbol belongs to
00:44:25Miss Goldenweak, who works with Mr. Three and the Baroque Works organization, and it works by
00:44:30hypnotizing anyone the paint touches. Hearing this, Nami desperately tries to reach over and wipe the
00:44:35matching mark off of Zoro's leg to wake him up too. Nami tries to help Zoro, but he just keeps
00:44:40moving
00:44:41away from her while cracking jokes in his dazed state. Vivi informs everyone that they're currently trapped
00:44:45inside Mr. Three's wax shack, explaining that this man possesses a supernatural ability to transform
00:44:51anything he touches into a lifeless wax statue. Vivi can only pray that someone from their crew arrives
00:44:56soon to rescue them. Desperate for a savior, Nami remembers that Usopp fell off the cliff earlier
00:45:01and starts to worry about his safety. When they ask Zoro about Sanji's whereabouts, he just laughs and
00:45:06suggests that Sanji is probably lost somewhere deep in the woods. For a second, Nami feels her hope slipping
00:45:12away. Yet deep down, she remains confident that things will turn around. Nami is sure Luffy will
00:45:17come to the rescue, but Vivi delivers the bad news. Luffy has fallen under the same hypnotic spell as the
00:45:24rest of them. Meanwhile, out in the jungle, Usopp is lurking around and happens to spot Mr. Three
00:45:29having a conversation with Miss Goldenweak. During their talk, Mr. Three receives some very interesting
00:45:35information from his partner. Miss Goldenweak reveals that Luffy is just sitting on the beach,
00:45:39and Mr. Three mentions that Nami, Zoro, and Vivi are all locked up in his wax hut. Hearing this,
00:45:45Usopp sprints toward the beach to find Luffy, completely unaware that his captain is under
00:45:49Goldenweak's influence. Even when he spots the weird symbol painted on Luffy's face, the gravity of the
00:45:54situation doesn't click for him. Usopp doesn't even think to wipe the mark off. Instead, he keeps
00:46:00shouting that they need to go and save their friends right now. However, Luffy is trapped in a state of
00:46:05overwhelming guilt caused by the specific painting on his face. He's stuck in a loop of self-blame,
00:46:10convinced that everything happening to his crew is entirely his fault and that he's failed them.
00:46:14Believing he'll be the reason they all die, Luffy is unresponsive, so Usopp leaves him to search for
00:46:19Sanji so they can mount a rescue together. While trekking through the forest, Usopp stumbles upon
00:46:24Sanji's clothes discarded on the ground and covered in blood. This horrifying discovery leads Usopp to
00:46:29believe that the Baroque Works gang has managed to capture Sanji as well. Back at the beach,
00:46:34Miss Goldenweak approaches Luffy and sits down, pulling out her toys and complaining that nobody
00:46:38ever plays with her because of her strange powers. Noticing how incredibly sad Luffy looks,
00:46:43she decides to swap his mood by painting a green mark on him and wiping away the blue one,
00:46:48which was the source of his intense sorrow. Luffy tries his hardest to resist her psychological
00:46:52manipulation, but he ultimately fails and ends up doing exactly what she says, even sitting down to
00:46:58drink tea she prepared. Meanwhile Sanji is still scouting the forest for his crew until he discovers a
00:47:02mysterious white shack. He decides to burst inside to investigate, only to find the place seemingly
00:47:08deserted. Since the shack is empty, Sanji sits down and finds a stack of files containing photos
00:47:13of himself and the rest of Luffy's crew, complete with detailed intel and every member's strengths
00:47:18and weaknesses. He grabs the documents to show the others, but just as he's about to leave,
00:47:23the silence is broken by the sudden ringing of a telephone nearby. Sanji answers the call and
00:47:28quickly realizes he's talking to Mr. Zero, the mysterious big boss of Baroque works. Sanji
00:47:33plays along and keeps the conversation going, benefited by the fact that the transponder snail
00:47:38distorts voices to prevent call tracking. However, it doesn't take long for Mr. Zero to get suspicious
00:47:43that the person on the other end isn't one of his men. Suspicious of the intruder, Mr. Zero dispatches
00:47:48two agents known as the Unluckys, Ms. Friday and Mr. Thirteen, to the shack. The moment they spot Sanji,
00:47:54they open fire with their weapons, forcing him to duck back into the hut for cover. Once Sanji
00:47:59manages to get Ms. Friday alone, he doesn't hold back, quickly overpowering her and snapping her
00:48:03neck to finish her off. After taking out the first agent, Sanji goes back to the phone and coolly
00:48:09tells Mr. Zero to hold on a second. He puts the boss on hold while he deals with Mr. Thirteen,
00:48:14taking him out with zero effort. Once the second agent is dealt with, Sanji picks the receiver back
00:48:20up to resume his chat with the leader of Baroque Works, as if nothing happened. Sanji mockingly
00:48:25informs Mr. Zero that his two messengers are dead, which sends the boss into a silent rage.
00:48:30Mr. Zero grabs a nearby flower and makes it wither instantly, giving us a hint that he possesses a
00:48:35deadly devil fruit power that can kill with a single touch. Sanji hangs up and heads out,
00:48:40ready to make his next move. Sanji loots an eternal pose for Ms. Friday's remains and sets off to reunite
00:48:45with his crew. Meanwhile, the situation is looking dire as Mr. Three has captured Zoro,
00:48:50Nami, and Vivi, pinning them onto a giant wax cake he created. Ms. Valentine and Mr. Five suggest
00:48:56finishing them off right then and there to get the job over with. Mr. Three stops them, insisting that
00:49:01he wants to enjoy watching his victims suffer first. He commands Mr. Five to light the massive candles
00:49:06on top of the wax cake, causing a fine mist of wax to rain down on the three captives. This
00:49:11sadistic
00:49:11method is designed to slowly encase them in wax, killing them by inches as they watch their own
00:49:16demise. Mr. Three explains with glee that they are slowly being transformed into permanent wax
00:49:21statues, which he considers the height of artistic pleasure. However, the sharp-eyed Nami notices that
00:49:27Zoro's hands aren't actually stuck in the wax yet, and he still has his swords. Thinking fast, she decides
00:49:34to use her wits to manipulate Mr. Three. Nami insults Mr. Three's artistic integrity, pointing out that Zoro
00:49:40looks like a joke because he's still laughing under the hypnotic spell. Her plan is to provoke Mr. Three
00:49:45into snapping Zoro out of it so he can fight back. Surprisingly, the plan works. Mr. Three gets
00:49:51offended and wipes the mark off Zoro's leg to make him a more serious statue. The moment he's free from
00:49:56the trance, Zoro grabs his blade and tries to smash through the wax, but it's far too hard to break.
00:50:01Mr. Three laughs at their struggle, demanding that Nami finally admit he's a true master artist.
00:50:06Nami feels a wave of frustration as her plan hits a wall. Meanwhile, we cut back to Luffy,
00:50:11where Miss Goldenweak is forcing him toward the ocean. Goldenweak knows that as a Devil Fruit user,
00:50:17the sea is Luffy's absolute weakness and will kill him instantly. Just as things look hopeless,
00:50:22Usopp arrives in the nick of time. He shouts at Luffy to fight through the hypnotic control.
00:50:26This enrages Goldenweak, who starts chasing Usopp to bring him under her spell as well.
00:50:31Usopp pulls off a slick maneuver and manages to evade her, causing Goldenweak to accidentally
00:50:35collide with her own paint. She ends up getting hit right in the face by her own have-notted colors,
00:50:39trapping her in a cycle she can't easily break. With her distracted, Usopp rushes over to Luffy
00:50:44and helps pull him away from the dangerous seawater. After the close call to water,
00:50:48they rush to help the others, but they find them looking like finished wax statues.
00:50:53Mr. Three smugly informs Luffy that his friends have less than two minutes of life left.
00:50:57He explains that they are currently surviving on the tiny bit of oxygen remaining in their lungs,
00:51:01and once that's gone, it's game over. Luffy steps up to fight,
00:51:05but Mr. Three proves he's a total coward by turning tail and sprinting into the jungle.
00:51:10Luffy tells Usopp to focus on saving their friends no matter what,
00:51:13while he takes off after Mr. Three to settle the score once and for all.
00:51:17Left behind at the wax cake, Usopp finds himself in a standoff.
00:51:21Usopp is now facing both Miss Valentine and Mr. Five. He bravely suggests a fair fight,
00:51:27one-on-one, and chooses to take on Miss Valentine first. She's actually thrilled by the challenge,
00:51:33noting that it's been quite a while since she's killed anyone, and she plans to savor every moment
00:51:37of his defeat. Usopp knows he's completely outclassed, but he cleverly goads her into
00:51:42attacking with everything she's got. The sheer impact of Miss Valentine's powerful strikes
00:51:47actually causes the wax encasing his friends to shatter. With the spell broken, Nami and Vivi
00:51:52immediately launch a counterattack on Valentine, sparking a fierce battle. Zoro is ready to take
00:51:57down Mr. Five, but he realizes his feet are still glued to the wax base. Seeing this, Usopp provides
00:52:03cover by peppering Mr. Five with shots from his slingshot. Zoro uses that brief distraction to
00:52:09finally rip his feet free and charges at Mr. Five with his signature lethal speed. Zoro successfully
00:52:13finishes his fight with Mr. Five, just as Nami and Vivi manage to overpower Miss Valentine and knock
00:52:18her out cold. Meanwhile, we check back on Luffy, who is scouring the forest for
00:52:22Mr. Three. When he finally catches up, he's confronted by a dozens of identical copies of
00:52:27the villain, so he starts swinging his legs at all of them. Luffy soon realizes he's just
00:52:32punching wax decoys, and more statues of Mr. Three keep popping up throughout the jungle.
00:52:37It's a confusing mess, and Luffy isn't sure how to find the real one. In typical Luffy fashion,
00:52:43he decides the best strategy is to just smash every single statue until the real Mr. Three reveals himself.
00:52:48Once Luffy starts making progress, the real Mr. Three bolts toward Brogy's cave. He lures Luffy
00:52:54into a trap, managing to encase Luffy's hand in a heavy wax hammer to limit his movements. While stuck,
00:53:00Luffy spots the giant Brogy also trapped in wax, and Mr. Three begins to taunt him about how easily he
00:53:05defeated the giant. Luffy's anger reaches its boiling point as he listens to the villain's bragging.
00:53:10Gathering all his strength, he uses the very wax hammer meant to restrain him as a weapon,
00:53:15smashing it into Mr. Three with incredible force. The blow knocks Mr. Three out instantly. Luffy then turns
00:53:21his attention to the giant Dory who is still pinned by the wax. Luffy decides to free the giant and
00:53:25then
00:53:26heads back to reunite with the rest of the crew. Overjoyed to see that everyone has escaped their wax
00:53:30prisons, Sanji arrives shortly after and hands Nami the eternal pose he took from Miss Friday earlier.
00:53:36Upon inspecting it, Nami is relieved to see it's functioning perfectly. The compass is set specifically for
00:53:42the kingdom of Alabasta. Just then, Dory the giant approaches and offers a sincere thank you to Luffy
00:53:47for saving his life. Sanji is absolutely stunned when he sees the massive warrior, as he had no
00:53:53idea there were actually giants living on this island. After the introductions, the crew prepares to depart.
00:53:58Luffy and the crew head back to their ship, happy to see Dory and Brogy finally settling their
00:54:03differences. After a warm farewell to their giant friends, they set sail for Alabasta. Vivi is beaming with
00:54:09joy when Luffy reassures her that they are prioritizing her kingdom above everything else.
00:54:13Their departure is suddenly interrupted by a gargantuan sea monster rising from the depths.
00:54:19Seeing their friends in trouble, Dory and Brogy combine their strength for a massive joint attack.
00:54:24The power of their strike is so intense, it literally carves a hole through the monster's body,
00:54:29allowing Luffy and the crew to sail the Going Merry right through the beast. Back at the wax shack,
00:54:34Miss Valentine is laying into Mr. 3, blaming him for the entire failure because he ignored
00:54:38her advice to kill the Straw Hats immediately. Suddenly, the transponder snail starts ringing.
00:54:44Mr. 3 begins to panic, knowing that Mr. Zero is on the other end, surely demanding a status update
00:54:49on their mission. If the boss finds out he failed, Mr. 3 knows he's a dead man. Miss Valentine tries
00:54:55to
00:54:56answer the call to tell the truth, but Mr. 3 reacts instantly, using his powers to turn her into a
00:55:01wax
00:55:01statue so she can't rat him out. Later that night, Luffy and the rest of the crew are seen
00:55:06celebrating their hard-won victory over the Baroque Works agents. As the crew enjoys a celebratory
00:55:11dinner, Nami mentions to Luffy that she's feeling a bit under the weather and decides to head to her
00:55:16cabin early. However, as she reaches the deck, her condition takes a sudden turn for the worse.
00:55:21She collapses and loses consciousness right then and there, leaving everyone in a state of alarm.
00:55:26Now we cut to Miss Allsunday, who is taking a call from Mr. Zero regarding a specific secret mission.
00:55:31We see that she's currently in the company of a man named Waple, the former king of the Drum Kingdom.
00:55:37Waple is clearly irritated because Mr. Zero refuses to meet with him personally. Waple isn't
00:55:42happy about having to deal with Miss Allsunday instead of the boss himself, but she calmly explains
00:55:47that Mr. Zero is far too busy. This makes Waple even angrier. He rants about how much money he's
00:55:53poured into Baroque Works and demands they start showing some appreciation. Miss Allsunday simply tells
00:55:59him to relax and keep his cool. To quiet him down, she presents him with the devil fruit,
00:56:03stating it's a personal gift from Mr. Zero. Waple's mood flips instantly to excitement,
00:56:07knowing the legendary power these fruits hold. He curiously asks Miss Allsunday exactly what kind
00:56:12of power he'll gain, but she mysteriously tells him he'll just have to eat it and find out for himself.
00:56:17After she leaves, we return to the ship where Nami is finally waking up. Sanji is there by her side,
00:56:23and she's shocked to learn she's been unconscious for four whole days. Her concern turns to horror
00:56:28when she notices the veins in her body are starting to turn a dark, ominous black. But Sanji tries his
00:56:34best to stay positive. Sanji promises Nami that they will find a cure for whatever is happening to
00:56:39her, urging her to get more rest. He then gathers the rest of the crew on deck to deliver the
00:56:43grim
00:56:43news. Nami's condition is critical and they need to find a doctor immediately. Vivi points out that
00:56:49her kingdom is still quite far away and Nami might not survive the trip. Vivi suggests that the best
00:56:54course of action is to pull over the very next island they find to seek medical help.
00:56:59Everyone agrees it's the right move. Meanwhile, on an island named Rain Base, which houses a marine
00:57:04communications hub, we see Captain Smoker and Tashigi arriving with a very specific goal in mind.
00:57:09Smoker and Tashigi are there to intercept and monitor the communications between Baroque works
00:57:14agents, hoping to pinpoint their locations and make some arrests. It's revealed that Smoker plans to
00:57:18keep any findings secret from his superiors because he's obsessed with tracking down Luffy's crew
00:57:23first. Smoker's primary goal is to catch the Straw Hats himself. As they walk through the base,
00:57:29Tashigi trips over the body of a fallen marine soldier. Examining the wounds, they determine the
00:57:34soldier was killed by a sword, leading Smoker to suspect that Roronoa Zora might be responsible for
00:57:39the attack on the facility. Smoker is genuinely puzzled about why Luffy's crew would suddenly decide to
00:57:44raid a marine communications outpost. Regardless, he heads deeper into the base to investigate
00:57:48the damage himself, instructing Tashigi to contact marine headquarters and report the incident so
00:57:54they can send over some reinforcements. Upon entering the comms room, Smoker finds all the
00:57:58equipment completely trashed. Suddenly, a Baroque works agent named Miss Thursday appears before him.
00:58:04Realizing that the criminal organization, not Luffy's crew, is actually responsible for the
00:58:09destruction, Smoker prepares to use his smoke powers to end the confrontation. Things move incredibly fast from
00:58:15here. At that very moment, Tashigi bursts into the commander's office only to find him lying there,
00:58:19lifeless. Suddenly, a Baroque works agent known as Mr. Eleven appears right before her eyes, wielding a
00:58:25sword. It instantly clicks for Tashigi. This is the man who murdered the commander and the guard she found outside
00:58:31the base. Without a single moment of hesitation, she launches an attack, and a fierce battle breaks out between them.
00:58:37Tashigi manages to land a powerful blow that knocks him out cold. Just then, Smoker enters the room and
00:58:42informs her that they have taken down another member of the dangerous Baroque works organization, the same
00:58:48group responsible for destroying the communication base. Smoker insists that they must uncover the
00:58:53underlying motto for these attacks. Meanwhile, Luffy and his crew finally spawn an island ahead of them.
00:58:58Vivi explains that this is the Drum Kingdom, but she makes a very serious request. They must not mention to
00:59:03anyone that she is actually the princess of her own kingdom. The reason for her secrecy is King Wapol,
00:59:09who has a massive, long-standing grudge against her kingdom and would surely harm her if he discovered
00:59:13she was there. Despite her fear, Vivi tells the crew they have no other choice but to land. This island
00:59:19is
00:59:19famous for its skilled doctors, and they are Nami's only hope for a full recovery. To understand the
00:59:24tension between Vivi and the Drum Kingdom, we have to look back ten years into the past. Back then,
00:59:30a young Vivi was peeking through a window, watching a high-stakes meeting of the world government.
00:59:35It was a massive gathering attended by some of the most powerful leaders on the planet. Among
00:59:39the attendees were Vivi's father and the arrogant King Wapol of the Drum Kingdom. The head of the
00:59:44meeting was discussing the grave threat posed by Dragon, the leader of the revolutionary army who
00:59:48was upsetting the balance of power between nations. Fun fact, Dragon is actually the one keeping an eye on
00:59:53Luffy's crew. As it turns out, Dragon is actual Luffy's father. During the council, King Wapol dismisses the
01:00:00concerns, boastfully claiming that he rules his kingdom with an iron fist and that his people
01:00:04would never dare to question him. It's at this moment that Vivi watches her own father, King Cobra,
01:00:09step in to challenge that mindset. King Cobra argues that a true ruler must treat his subjects
01:00:14with kindness and respect. This infuriates Wapol, who starts screaming at Cobra, leading to a heated
01:00:19confrontation between the two kings. Fast forward back to the present day, where Luffy's crew is just
01:00:23arriving at the shores of the Drum Kingdom. They are immediately greeted with gunfire from behind the
01:00:28Kingdom's gates because the locals are definitely not welcoming to pirates. Vivi actually gets hit
01:00:33in the shoulder during the chaos. Luffy loses his temper and prepares to smash the gates down,
01:00:37but Vivi stops him just in time, realizing that fighting back isn't the answer. Vivi insists that
01:00:43violence won't get them what they need. She humbly apologizes to the guards, explaining that they
01:00:47desperately need medical attention for their sick friend. The gates finally open and Thalton,
01:00:52the captain of the Royal Guards, steps out. He allows them entry and offers a sincere apology for
01:00:57the hostile reception they received. When Luffy mentions they need a doctor for Nami,
01:01:01Dalton reveals a grim reality. There is only one doctor left in the entire kingdom. King Wapol took
01:01:07all the others with him. This doctor, a woman named Kureha, lives in a castle perched at the very peak
01:01:13of
01:01:13a mountain. However, a local named Maria gives them a chilling warning. Maria warns them that Kureha is
01:01:19more like a witch who uses very bizarre methods to treat her patients. Despite the scary rumors, Luffy is
01:01:25determined to get Nami the help she needs. He decides to scale the mountain himself with
01:01:30Sanji's help, while Zoro stays behind with Vivi. Luffy hoists Nami onto his back to begin the climb.
01:01:36Luffy and Sanji start the grueling ascent up the mountain to reach Dr. Kureha. During the climb,
01:01:41a massive storm hits, making things incredibly dangerous. At one point, Sanji actually falls,
01:01:46but Luffy uses his powers to stretch out and catch him. He gathers every bit of strength he has left
01:01:51to
01:01:51make sure they all keep moving upward. With a final surge of effort, Luffy manages to get them
01:01:56to the very top, though he is completely exhausted and on the verge of passing out. Just as his vision
01:02:01begins to fade, he's startled to see the legs of some kind of creature nearby. Using his last breath,
01:02:07he begs the creature to save his friends before he finally collapses. Hours later, Nami finally wakes
01:02:13up and finds herself in a room that looks like a hospital. She realizes she's hooked up to an IV
01:02:17and
01:02:18feels significantly better than before. However, her relief turns to worry the moment you spot Sanji
01:02:23lying unconscious in the bed right next to her. Suddenly, a tiny reindeer named Chopper enters the
01:02:27room. When Nami calls out to him, he gets spooked and tries to hide, though he still keeps a shy
01:02:32eye on her from a distance. Right at that moment, Dr. Kureha walks in and explains that she is the
01:02:38one
01:02:38responsible for treating Nami and saving her life. Kureha reassures Nami that her condition has stabilized,
01:02:44explaining that she'd contracted a deadly infection from a rare insect bite. The doctor begins discussing
01:02:49medical details with Chopper, who clearly knows his stuff. Nami, still concerned for her crewmates,
01:02:55asks if Luffy and Sanji are going to be alright as well. Kureha mentions that Sanji is dealing with a
01:03:01couple of broken ribs but is being well cared for. Before Nami can even ask about Luffy, he bursts into
01:03:07the room yelling.
01:03:07He bursts into the room yelling. He's convinced Kureha is a total lunatic who wanted to feed them to her
01:03:13pet monster. Luffy's shouting is so loud that it actually wakes Sanji up from his rest. Sanji ignores
01:03:18Luffy's rambling because he's just so happy to see that Nami is finally back on her feet.
01:03:22Tureha patiently explains to Luffy that she was actually performing medical treatments on him,
01:03:27prompting a clumsy apology from the captain. Luffy realizes he overreacted and takes a moment to
01:03:31properly thank Kureha for saving Nami. After Luffy apologizes for his behavior,
01:03:36he spots Chopper and is immediately fascinated by the little reindeer. Nami mentions that she is
01:03:41absolutely starving so Kureha instructs Chopper to show the boys where the kitchen is so they
01:03:45can whip up a meal using whatever supplies are available in the castle. While Sanji and Luffy
01:03:50are busy preparing food for Nami, they notice Chopper watching them intensely from the shadows.
01:03:55They try to invite him over to chat but he's too shy and stays in his hiding spot. While exploring,
01:04:00Luffy happens to find an old pirate flag tucked away inside a box nearby. The moment Luffy touches
01:04:05a flag, Chopper gets surprisingly angry and snatches it away, stuffing it back into the box before
01:04:09walking off looking heartbroken. Later that night during dinner, a curious Luffy asks Kureha why
01:04:15Chopper is so sad and what the story is behind that mysterious pirate flag he found. Kureha begins to
01:04:20recount Chopper's emotional backstory. We flashback several years to a time when Kureha was constantly
01:04:26on the run from the king's soldiers. King Wapol had ordered the arrest of every doctor in the land so
01:04:31he could keep them locked in his palace for his own personal health needs. During those days,
01:04:35we meet a man named Dr. Hiraluk who was also hiding from the royal guards. It's clear that he
01:04:41and Kureha didn't see eye to eye on medicine and they even got into a loud argument about their
01:04:45conflicting methods. After they parted ways, Hiraluk spotted some very strange looking footprints in the
01:04:51snow. Hiraluk followed the tracks until he discovered a young Chopper who was badly injured.
01:04:56The doctor tried to approach him to help but Chopper was terrified and fought him off with
01:05:00everything he had until he eventually collapsed from exhaustion. The next day,
01:05:03Chopper finally woke up in a safe place. Chopper realized he was lying in a bed inside Hiraluk's
01:05:08home. When the doctor asked how he was feeling, he was absolutely stunned when Chopper answered
01:05:13him in human speech. Kureha realized the truth and asked if the reindeer had accidentally eaten the
01:05:18devil fruit, a question that left Chopper confused. Chopper explained that he had just been hungry and
01:05:23didn't realize what he was eating. He also revealed a painful truth. Whenever he gets angry,
01:05:27he transforms into a giant monster, which is why humans have always hunted and shot at him.
01:05:33Hiraluk listened as Chopper described how he returns to normal once he calms down.
01:05:37Hiraluk explained that the devil fruit had granted him extraordinary abilities.
01:05:41When asked about his family, Chopper sadly shared that he was an outcast because of his blue nose.
01:05:46Hiraluk, feeling a deep connection to the lonely creature, decided to adopt and promising to be his
01:05:51friend and teacher. The two lived together happily. With Hiraluk teaching Chopper everything about
01:05:56medicine and gathering herbs from the forest. One day, Chopper asked about the pirate flag hanging
01:06:01on the wall and the strange red fruit symbol on it. Hiraluk confessed that in his younger days,
01:06:06he'd actually been a pirate himself. He shared a miracle story. He once had a terminal illness,
01:06:12but was cured simply by the sight of cherry blossoms. Knowing no one would believe such a tale,
01:06:16he kept it as his own secret and decided to make the cherry blossom the symbol on his flag,
01:06:21believing it represented a hope stronger than any disease. To Hiraluk, the pirate flag wasn't a
01:06:27symbol of death, but a banner for fighting sickness using nature's gifts. He spent his
01:06:32days conducting endless experiments, desperate to find a universal cure that could heal any ailment.
01:06:37Despite many failures, he never stopped searching for that perfect formula. One day,
01:06:42while walking back from the shore, Hiraluk suddenly told Chopper to go away,
01:06:46claiming he was cured and didn't need him anymore. Chopper was absolutely devastated and confused,
01:06:51unable to believe his friend was abandoning him. He pleaded to stay, but Hiraluk was firm and pushed
01:06:57him away. Hiraluk retreated into his house and slammed the door shut. Chopper collapsed outside,
01:07:02begging to be let back in, unaware that Hiraluk was crying on the other side, asking for forgiveness.
01:07:08Heartbroken, Chopper finally left. The next day, he watched the house from a distance and saw a
01:07:12surprising visitor. Chopper saw Dr. Koreha examining Hiraluk and realized the truth. The doctor was
01:07:19dying of a terminal illness. He had pushed Chopper away because he didn't want the little reindeer
01:07:23to witness his painful final moments. Hiraluk begged Koreha to look after Chopper once he was
01:07:28gone and to finish his life's work. He wanted her to continue his research until a true cure for
01:07:33humanity was found. Although Koreha felt for him, she hated seeing him so defeated. She told him that
01:07:39he wasn't dead yet and that he should be the one to complete his experiments and find the cure with
01:07:44his own hands. Inspired, Hiraluk spent the next day working feverishly on his formula and finally
01:07:49believed he had succeeded. Just then, a battered and bruised Chopper burst into the room. He was
01:07:54clutching a specific mushroom in his hand the fabled, magical mushroom people whispered about.
01:07:59Chopper explained that he had braved the dangerous Death Valley just to get that mushroom to save his
01:08:04friend. Touched by the gesture, Hiraluk embraced him and thanked him. He then ate the mushroom,
01:08:09telling Chopper that he immediately felt his health and strength returning to him.
01:08:12Hiraluk said he needed to go to the king's palace to check on the other doctors.
01:08:16After he left, Koreha arrived looking for him. When Chopper told her that Hiraluk had gone to the
01:08:21palace, she was shocked. Knowing how incredibly ill he actually was, and wondering how he had the
01:08:26strength to walk, Chopper excitedly told her that Hiraluk was cured because of the mushroom he provided.
01:08:32Koreha grew serious, insisting that his illness had no cure. She demanded to see what kind of
01:08:36mushroom it was. So Chopper pointed it out in a book, explaining that Hiraluk,
01:08:41told him the symbol on it, meant it was a healer. Koreha lost her temper and shouted at Chopper,
01:08:46revealing a terrifying truth. He had misread the book. That symbol actually meant the mushroom was
01:08:52highly poisonous. Chopper was in total denial, arguing that it couldn't be true since Hiraluk ate
01:08:57it and said he felt much better. Koreha broke the news that Hiraluk had sacrificed himself,
01:09:01just to spare Chopper's feelings, after seeing how hard he had fought to find that mushroom.
01:09:06She added that Hiraluk was on a suicide mission to the palace to save the other doctors from Waple.
01:09:11Chopper burst into tears and ran as fast as he could toward the palace. Meanwhile,
01:09:15Hiraluk had reached the palace and was using explosives to fight his way through the guards.
01:09:19He finally confronted King Waple, demanding that the king release the imprisoned doctors so they
01:09:23could go back to serving the people of the kingdom who desperately needed them. Waple refused and
01:09:28ordered Hiraluk's immediate execution. Before the guards could act, Hiraluk stopped them and gave a
01:09:33final message to Dalton. He told him that a monster would soon arrive, but he begged Dalton not to harm
01:09:39it, explaining that the creature was actually his son and a peaceful being. Without warning,
01:09:44Hiraluk set off explosives from his bag, choosing to end his own life on his own terms. Waple just laughed
01:09:51mockingly at the scene and ordered Dalton to find and kill Hiraluk's son. Just as the smoke cleared,
01:09:57Chopper arrived at the palace gates. When Chopper saw Hiraluk's hat lying on the ground,
01:10:02he knew his mentor was gone. Blinded by rage, he transformed into a massive beast,
01:10:08ready to tear Waple apart. Dalton stepped in, managing to calm him down by explaining
01:10:13Hiraluk's final request and urging him to flee so his father's sacrifice wouldn't be in vain.
01:10:18Moved by Dalton's words, Chopper retreated and ran back to Hiraluk's home. Once there,
01:10:24he begged Dr. Kariha to take him in and teach him everything about medicine,
01:10:28vowing to fulfill Hiraluk's dream of becoming a great doctor.
01:10:32And that, my friend, is the tragic story of how Chopper became who he is.
01:10:36Back in the present, Luffy and the crew are visibly moved by the story. Luffy stands up,
01:10:41walks over to Chopper and takes Hiraluk's old pirate flag, proudly hanging it back up on the wall.
01:10:46Chopper watches in absolute awe as Luffy demonstrates his amazing stretching abilities.
01:10:50Chopper admits that he also ate a devil fruit and transformed into a monster, just like Luffy.
01:10:55Luffy insists that the flag should never be hidden in a box again and encourages Chopper to honor
01:11:00Hiraluk's memory by pursuing the dream of healing everyone in the world. A small smile forms on
01:11:05Chopper's face as he promises to follow that path. Meanwhile, down below, Dalton is with Zoro and Usopp.
01:11:11He notices a plume of smoke rising from the mountainside and realizes someone has set up a camp,
01:11:16which is strange since no new boats have arrived at the harbor. Dalton decides to investigate the
01:11:21mysterious camp immediately. Before heading out, he tells Zoro that the safety of the kingdom and
01:11:26its people is in his hands until he returns. At the same time, Vivi is walking through the village and
01:11:32kindly offers her own gloves to some local children who are shivering in the cold. Vivi's gentle moment
01:11:37is interrupted by a shock. She spots Miss Sunday from Baroque work standing right there among the
01:11:41villagers. The mysterious woman vanishes into the crowd, prompting Vivi to chase after her.
01:11:46When she finally catches up, Vivi demands to know what her endgame is. Vivi asks what she could
01:11:52possibly gain by working for a madman like Mr. Zero. Sunday cryptically replies that it's personal
01:11:57business. She also warns Vivi that Waple has gained monstrous powers from devil fruit and has
01:12:02an army of soldiers that no ordinary person could hope to defeat. Sunday challenges Vivi to show her
01:12:08how she and Luffy's crew plan to protect the kingdom before walking away. Meanwhile, Dalton reaches the
01:12:13mountain camp. As he nears the source of the smoke, he is suddenly ambushed and struck by three arrows
01:12:18causing him to collapse in the snow. It turns out Waple's men were the ones who staged the ambush.
01:12:23They drag the wounded Dalton to Waple, and Dalton is horrified to see that the king has transformed
01:12:28into a bizarre metallic beast. He realizes Waple ate a devil fruit that allows him to become whatever he
01:12:34consumes. Waple can literally turn his body into a weapon based on what he eats. Dalton transforms
01:12:40into his beast form to fight back, declaring that Waple is no longer fit to rule. However,
01:12:46Waple stabs him in the shoulder and then disturbingly begins spitting out an army of mutated soldiers from
01:12:51his mouth to take over the land. Down in the village, Zoro and Usopp spot these metallic monsters approaching.
01:12:56They immediately start evacuating and hiding the villagers. Vivi arrives and shares the warnings from
01:13:01Miss Sunday, making it clear that these oncoming beasts are actually Waple's specialized soldiers.
01:13:07Zoro takes his promised Dalton seriously and prepares for battle.
01:13:10He tells Usopp to head up the mound to get Luffy, but Vivi insists on going herself.
01:13:15She argues that Zoro and Usopp are the strongest fighters and need to stay behind to hold the line
01:13:20against the invaders. Usopp gives Vivi a special climbing tool he invented to help her scale the peak
01:13:25quickly. She successfully reaches the top and breaks the news about the attack to Luffy.
01:13:29Without missing a beat, Luffy prepares to head back down and take on Waple and his army of freaks.
01:13:35Kureha tells Chopper they should pack up and run, but Chopper firmly refuses. He feels it's his duty to
01:13:41stay and protect the people. Kureha leaves him to his choice and, on her way down, finds the injured
01:13:46Dalton. Initially, she's reluctant to ambush him from behind, but she changes her mind after hearing him
01:13:51speak. When Dalton quotes the late Hyruleuk, Kureha has moved to tears and decides to treat his wounds.
01:13:57Meanwhile, the battle in the village is going poorly. The monsters are overwhelming everyone.
01:14:03One of the metallic beasts is just seconds away from killing a defenseless village woman. Dalton
01:14:07appears out of nowhere and saves the woman just in time. Usopp watches in amazement,
01:14:12as Dalton utilizes his own beast transformation to fight. Dalton then spots another monster,
01:14:17targeting Maria and her group, leaping into action to take the creature down permanently. Just as a monster
01:14:22grabs Usopp and prepares to finish him off, Dr. Kureha arrives and blasts the creature with fire
01:14:28to save him. Back at the mountain castle, things take a turn for the worse when Waple sneaks inside
01:14:33using a hidden passage catching the crew off guard. Waple targets Hyruleuk's pirate fly with a cannon
01:14:38blast, but Luffy leaps into the air and blocks the shot with his own body to protect the symbol.
01:14:43The crew is horrified to see Luffy take such a hit, while Waple mocks him calling him a fool for
01:14:48risking his life for a piece of cloth. Waple is stunned when Luffy emerges from the smoke still
01:14:53standing. Luffy declares that the flag is precious to his friend Chopper and that's why he'll never
01:14:58let it be destroyed. He stands tall, ready to settle the score with Waple once and for all.
01:15:03Waple transforms his hand into a saw to try and cut Luffy down, but Luffy dodges the strikes with ease.
01:15:08However, Waple eventually corners and pushing him aside. Just as things look dire, Sanji provides an
01:15:13opening and Luffy uses his stretching ability to reposition himself.
01:15:16Luffy pulls himself back and launches a devastating counter-attack that sends Waple flying right out
01:15:21of the castle. Down in the village, the monsters surrounding Zoro and the people suddenly lose
01:15:26their strength and revert back into normal humans. The threat has finally been neutralized. The soldiers
01:15:32surrender now that Waple's control over them is broken. Peace finally returns to the Drum Kingdom.
01:15:38Kureha visits the formerly imprisoned doctors to tell them that the nightmare is over and that they
01:15:43must now get to work healing the six citizens. Kureha leads Zoro, Dalton and Usopp back up to the
01:15:48castle through the secret passage. They reunite with Luffy and Vivi and everyone is relieved to
01:15:53hear that Waple has been defeated. The kingdom is finally free from the Tyrant's shadow thanks to the
01:15:58Straw Hat crew. The crew is introduced to Chopper and Luffy officially invites him to join them as their
01:16:03ship's doctor. Overwhelmed with joy at finally being accepted, Chopper agrees to join the journey.
01:16:08He shares a heartfelt goodbye with Kureha, thanking her for everything she taught him. Dalton offers
01:16:13his sincere thanks to the crew for saving his home. As they prepare to leave, Chopper surprises them by
01:16:19pulling a large sled. He invites everyone to hop in, explaining that he'll use it to help them all to
01:16:24send the mountain quickly and reach their ship. Dalton bids them farewell as they head out. When they
01:16:29finally reach the Going Merry, Chopper is wide-eyed with wonder. It's his very first time seeing a real
01:16:36pirate ship. As they set sail, Chopper takes one long, final look at the kingdom he's leaving
01:16:41behind. Usopp comforts him, saying they all felt that way when they first left home.
01:16:46Nami brings Chopper a medical bag that Kureha left for him. Inside, he finds a mysterious,
01:16:51brightly colored ball. When Nami asks what it is, Chopper just gives her a knowing smile. Chopper tells
01:16:57Nami that the ball is a medical secret of his. Meanwhile, back at the castle, Dalton brings Kureha a
01:17:02massive cannon she requested, though he's completely baffled as to why she would ever need such a thing.
01:17:07Little does he know, she's about to fulfill a promise. Kureha reveals that Hyrule actually
01:17:12succeeded in creating a cure-all. She loads a special canister into the cannon and fires it into
01:17:17the atmosphere. Suddenly, the sky is filled with a pink powder that looks exactly like falling cherry
01:17:22blossoms, coating the snowy island in beauty. As the pink snow falls, Chopper remembers Hyrule's dream of
01:17:29the cherry blossoms that could heal a sick heart. He breaks down in tears of joy and sorrow. Sorrow
01:17:34gently lifts him onto his shoulder to comfort him while the rest of the crew watches the beautiful
01:17:38scene in silence. The next day, the crew throws a big party to welcome Chopper to the team. He's
01:17:43clearly having the time of his life with his new friends. However, Nami notices that Vivi looks a bit
01:17:48downcast, likely because she knows she'll eventually have to leave then to save her own kingdom.
01:17:53Luffy reassures Vivi, promising that they won't stop until Baroque Works is defeated
01:17:57and Alabasta is safe. The whole crew chimes in to support her, making Vivi feel like a true member
01:18:03of their family. They are all in this together until the very end. Meanwhile, Smoker and Tashigi
01:18:09manage to intercept a call between Sanji and Mr. Zero. Tashigi recognize Sanji's voice and they
01:18:14realize that Princess Vivi is traveling with the Straw Hats. They know Crocodile will be gunning for her
01:18:20now that she knows his true identity. Smoker and Tashigi decide to head straight for Alabasta to find
01:18:24out what Vivi knows. At the same time, Miss Sunday and Mr. Zero are meeting to discuss their next move.
01:18:30Sunday reports the latest news, including the fact that King Waple is no longer a factor in their plans.
01:18:35Luffy's crew has successfully taken Will Paul out of the picture. Mr. Zero, revealed to be the
01:18:41formidable Sir Crocodile, tells Sunday to prepare for the final phase of their operation in Alabasta.
01:18:47He even addresses her by her real name for the very first time. Her name is Nika Robin, and she
01:18:52has a
01:18:52massive bounty of 79 million berries on her head. She gets annoyed when he uses her real name. But
01:18:57Crocodile calms her down, assuring her that everything is proceeding exactly as they have
01:19:02meticulously planned for years. Crocodile declares that Operation Utopia is officially underway,
01:19:07the codename for the total takeover of Alabasta. He believes that once this operation succeeds,
01:19:12they will be one step closer to finding the legendary One Piece treasure and ruling the seas.
01:19:16The Baroque Works headquarters is revealed to be a massive underwater base surrounded by deadly
01:19:21crocodiles. This chilling reveal marks the end of the current chapter of the story.
