00:05oh my god across the united states this is full dude buried in out of control hordes
00:17holy amen there are treasures you can't even begin to imagine oh my god
00:23i'm matt paxton and my team and i are cleaning out properties rain and poop looking for big
00:29scores holy one of a kind we found those for our clients and ourselves and if my instincts are
00:37right i think this is legit everyone wins 82 000. so all i can say is wow you give me
00:46my
00:46house back 110 000. i can't believe this is the same house 320 000. oh my gosh
01:03all right here we all y'all new boston mission not old boston not old boston new boston this week
01:11the
01:11crew and i are going to take on a type of horde we've never seen before i'm kind of excited
01:16about
01:16this one it's a family they live here on the farm and dad his stuff has been isolated to a
01:22chicken
01:23coop no no that is the 4 000 square foot chicken coop that is completely filled i won't be able
01:31to show
01:31you all of it because we can't even get to all of it honestly come on in oh my goodness
01:37i don't even want to touch anything oh it's not that bad hi i'm madison and this is my dad
01:43frank
01:43my dad is a handyman i fix everything you know machines motorcycles kind of a macgyver type person
01:51this stuff doesn't bother me as much as it bothers them see room for two
01:57i've always been a sort of a pack rat it's been top having all this all this clutter you know
02:03growing
02:03up my whole life it's a lot it's a lot of baggage to have i didn't even know that this
02:08was here you
02:09didn't there's at least two motorcycles maybe three he has these timeless pieces that not not many
02:16people can even say that they've seen before his things do hold a certain place in his heart my dad
02:22is retired now you know they're on a set income things have been tough starting to hurt a little
02:28bit and i figured you know kill two birds with one stone and get some of this stuff out of
02:33here
02:33to good homes to get the space back and to have the family united is is more important when the
02:41motivation is money sometimes it doesn't work out when we sell everything but when the motivation is
02:47family i feel like it always works out i have at least two coke machines in there so i have
02:52a safe
02:53lots of cool items in here you know the one thing that gets me excited safes that's what i like
02:59man
02:59in this giant chicken coop we're hunting for a few things frank says there's a one-of-a-kind vintage
03:04coke machine a few suzuki motorcycles and we have to find that locked safe who knows what's going to be
03:11in
03:17there so this is a 4 000 square foot chicken coop said it was big yes so it was empty
03:27when you guys
03:27got here yes what happened just i like collecting things i've always did since i was a kid it's getting
03:33to where it's a problem i think let's just get into it chris i'm gonna have you look around back
03:39and mike and kaylin i want you guys to go to all the way the other side of the chicken
03:42coop and
03:43try to get in that door okay all right thanks guys just watch your footing we can do that
03:50oh my god wow and this goes way deep yeah oh my goodness yeah i mean this is full dude
03:59yeah i know
04:01i get it i'm not putting you down i'm just no i know
04:05this chicken coop is insane i can't even see the wall i can't see across the room all i can
04:11see
04:11is the four inches in front of me holy oh my hey you smell that that's the first thing i
04:22smell when you open
04:23the door oh you go first no problem this is this is so dangerous yeah but look at this you
04:38know we've got all
04:39kinds of tools we got flammables okay we've got uh yard equipment we got sharp objects
04:48i'm already seeing dollars you're seeing danger i'm already seeing dollars matt's counting on me to
04:54be able to justify taking this job on if i don't see enough value it's not going to make sense
04:59for
05:00us to pay so much to clean the chicken coop everything i'm handing you is money but yeah
05:04but the wheels got up
05:11here you go buddy all the service
05:17i gotta come over here real quick sorry i'm just trying to figure this all out
05:21and there's another 10 plus feet that way yeah actually that's where you might find the coke
05:26machine okay who knows that's my dirt bike okay it's a tm bikes that's a tm 250. there's more this
05:35is definitely a really cool 1980s suzuki and he says he's got more if there's a gsxr 750 buried in
05:42there we'll be off to the races for the smoothest ride on two wheels look no further than the all
05:47-new
05:48gsxr 750. one of the first true race replicas the gsxr 750 brought the speed and performance of a
05:57racing motorcycle to the streets it's light and powerful with an aluminum frame and an oil cooled
06:03engine it had an unmatched power to weight ratio for its time and turned heads when people saw it
06:09flying down the highway and sales of this bike still turn heads a pristine 1987 gsx r750 sold for
06:18over 22 000 dollars man so what was it like growing up in here um when i was a kid
06:25it was fun uh as i
06:27grew up though it became a little a little bit more uh sad especially because it has gotten more
06:33packed packed yeah it's been a long road the horde has put um a strain on the relationship ever since
06:43i was a kid it's always been like the secret it was embarrassing i'm ready because we need to
06:49make things better here as a family and i want to enjoy my family more than than the stuff now
06:57i've got
06:57the guys checking out the rest of the property um let's head back that way assuming we all make
07:03it out of here alive i'll meet with the guys i'm seeing glimpses of big ticket items but everything
07:11is buried deep all i see is horde and i'm going off of what frank has told me and i'm
07:17going to take his
07:18word for it all right let's talk this out y'all i'm kind of lost on this one like i'm
07:24looking this way
07:25and i'm like we got to do this and i look that way i'm like this is a horrible decision
07:28and i keep
07:29going back and forth there's silhouettes of things that we just can't get to motorcycles could be in
07:36there the safe we're looking for so i'm actually feeling really good about this give me the news
07:42what's it going to cost it's packed my clean note is going to cost it 25 to 30. i mean
07:47yeah because
07:47it's going to be what how many guys at least 10 guys for this one and then the dumpsters how
07:51many
07:52dumpsters i want to start off at 12. yeah that's probably 30 grand you're right
07:56so we'd have to make 50. let me get with the family i need every junk guy in southern michigan
08:01okay i'll come back and find you guys on a few all right all right the team knows this is
08:07not going
08:07to be a walk in the park but now it's time for me to make a deal with frank and
08:10madison
08:12all right guys all right this is a tough one a really tough one i do think there's a lot
08:19to sell in
08:20there my concern is but the amount of dumpsters we're gonna need expenses are between 25 and 30
08:26000. wow it's just so much and there's so much unknown anything over our clean out costs 50 50 cut
08:34at the end 50 50. how do you feel about that yeah i like i like to have it a
08:41little bit different i'll
08:42go 49.51 if you want to do that that makes you feel better about it i will go 49
08:47.51
08:48did that make you feel better yeah we'll go with that all right 49.51 okay all right yeah i'm
08:53gonna
08:53literally get the guys and we're gonna get started right away right cool hey it's time to start hunting
09:03this is gonna be a tough job but i brought in a small army to help us clear out and
09:06pick through
09:07this coop all right we gotta clean this entire barn in the next three days we're gonna split teams up
09:14we're gonna go six on that side with kaylin and mike six on this side with me and chris all
09:20right
09:20let's do it thanks man appreciate you there's only two doors to this coop so we're gonna start on
09:26either side and work our way into the middle keeping our eyes peeled for a vintage coke machine
09:30a suzuki gsxr 750 and the safe i must say this is trash oh boy once we get to the
09:41ground there we
09:42want to go straight to here and go all the way that way all right okay the target items are
09:47always
09:47crucial because they give us that big lift of price trash and so you just got to keep digging until
09:52you
09:53find it but we're relying on some good surprise finds in here if we're going to make a profit on
09:57this
09:58job guys this is trash this is trash man the smell trash trash yeah about five more minutes i'm about
10:09to give me some fresh air spunky i don't know if there's something dead in here but it smelled like
10:14it
10:16this is metal there's a lot of trash in this chicken coop but fortunately a lot of it is scrap
10:22metal
10:22and that is something that we can sell all metal yo make sure you keep that metal separate from the
10:29trash trash
10:38this is a great fine man oh man absolutely let's get it out
10:45good news is it was covered up so hopefully that protected it frank wasn't lying we're starting
10:51to pull a lot of motorcycles out of here look what i got here unfortunately it's not the big ticket
10:57ones we were hoping for ah literally that's not even that's a wild animal okay is that raccoon i think
11:08it's huge you've been doing this job as long as i have you unfortunately know how to identify animal
11:14poop they didn't cat they didn't cat that's too big to be cat
11:22cat poop dog poop bear poop you name it you smell it you see it i know it
11:33what do you got here oh dude look at this man this trash what is this
11:47okay got some knives i got a few of them we can make money off of this money money money
11:57that's what we need these knives will definitely sell
12:03that'll sell
12:07nice here we go bell helmets were the jam this is a 1968 holy cow a shorty
12:18this is a 50 year old helmet people don't realize sometimes the helmet's worth more than a bike
12:23these helmets are in really good shape they could easily catch a couple hundred bucks each
12:32like i said anything can be buried in here
12:37what you finding i don't know i think i just found something
12:42oh it's either an elk or a caribou but i think it's an elk
12:46we're finding some interesting stuff but there's a lot of trash and not much treasure although some of
12:51this trash is going to have to be someone's treasure depending upon where you live in the country
12:58you can anywhere from 500 bucks to a couple thousand
13:09uh oh
13:11uh oh
13:12uh oh
13:15oh man this might be the suzuki that matt is looking for so we can fill this beauty up
13:30so we can put this beauty up this is a big board too gt 185 oh man we found an
13:3980 suzuki all right
13:40yeah i might get pretty it up we were hoping for a gxr 750 this is the gt 185 it's
13:46worth a fraction of
13:47the 750. man this is a huge blow
13:58somebody's got to grab the front here and take it while the crew continues to pull everything out of
14:02the coop i'm going to move the needle on sales all right what kind of offer would you like to
14:08make
14:08you got 21 knives here would you do two grand maybe a grand a grand let's do 15 meet in
14:15the middle
14:15yeah i'll do 15. damn you got a deal man i'll throw in both the boxes
14:20it's caribou also known as a reindeer i'm hoping 500 bucks
14:25uh okay you got me we got a deal man i love it it's a couple drops in the bucket
14:29on our way to 50
14:30000 but it's a start the team's been hard at work but we've only gotten through about 25 percent of
14:35the coop so far and the target item we found was a letdown so we need to find the vintage
14:41coke machine
14:41and the safe asap
14:56i'll learn one day all right so if i was a coke machine where would i be oh i found
15:04it there it is
15:07oh no i didn't you know coca-cola memorabilia is pretty sought after in collector circles it's
15:13all about americana nostalgia every meal is a treat with an ice cold glass of coca-cola
15:21from its iconic red logo to some of the most memorable commercials in tv history the coca-cola
15:27company is practically synonymous with americana ironically the original 1886 recipe wouldn't even
15:33be allowed on shelves today as it contained a dose of cocoa leaf extract with cocaine yeah real
15:41cocaine by 1904 the formula was cleaned up and the brand took the world by storm that cultural imprint
15:47is why collectors chase coke memorabilia so fiercely to this day in fact a 1950s bendo 81d coke machine
15:56recently listed for over twelve thousand dollars
15:59uh-oh here we go look at this oh my gosh this is nice my god jackpot man these are
16:21in incredible shape
16:23it's not a coke machine but these vintage coolers are really awesome i bet we can get some good
16:28money for them if we find an interested buyer i mean you got 600 to 700 worth of coolers and
16:34then
16:34right behind it there's two inches thick of raccoon poop it's amazing i love it
16:44that is a huge dump truck full of scrap metal and i think we'll get five thousand dollars for that
16:51would you do 150 say what 200 you got a deal sounds good awesome i'm at 600 bucks you got
16:57a deal yeah
16:58awesome oh yeah that's another one i got
17:08since we haven't found any of our other target items in the chicken coop yet happily taking a break
17:13from the new boston horde to go check out another potential client not too far up the road in st
17:19claire shores larry and anna they've got tents in the backyard they've got lots of different sheds
17:25they've filled up that lets us know the entire house is filled i'm hoping we'll have better luck
17:31with valuables here so we can turn a profit on this trip clutter has taken over the whole house all
17:37three bedrooms always afraid of that avalanche we have too much we need to start our lives i've got a
17:45lot of items from when my grandmother passed my uncle my when he passed he was a hoarder i accumulated
17:51a bunch from him we have all these movie reels and cruciers yeah we've got a seinfeld signed script
18:00someone in their family owned both a movie theater and a bookstore and they've got film that has bruce
18:06lee the reality is this could be a one-of-a-kind film the one that really got me excited
18:12is they have a
18:14copy of the centennial declaration of independence and i just had it and i put it on the stairs it's
18:23not on the stairs or anywhere around if they actually have a copy of one of the centennial
18:28declaration of independence this could be worth a ton of money this house has got a little bit of
18:34everything so we're going to keep our eyes peeled for that declaration of independence the bruce lee
18:39movie reels and the seinfeld script signed by the cast come on in matt hey nice to finally meet you
18:49guys i know i'm so glad you're here really good thank you for coming well i can see why you
18:54called
18:54yeah there's just a little bit in here though all right well give me a tour oh let's see what
19:00i'm
19:00looking at uh this is our kind of office do you guys both work out of here yeah we can't
19:06get to
19:07it we can't get to it really how many generations of stuff are in this house my uncles and then
19:12my
19:12grandparents then your whole life with your first wife and now we have all y'all's stuff yeah and
19:19stuff from your previous life yes we have five different lives i'm gonna have to draw a family
19:23tree just to clean this house but i like it let's keep let's keep looking all right so y'all
19:28like putting
19:28stuff on the steps larry so he's got four family members worth of his stuff and he gets to anna's
19:34side
19:34it's her parents stuff this was a bedroom at one time and all of her stuff all put together this
19:41is a lasagna of generational stuff well here's the backyard backyard is like the house
19:49you've got enough contents god we got to be able to make some money yeah all right but man we
19:54got a
19:54lot of work i think there's probably 15 to 20 000 on cleanup costs okay i think contents of the
20:01house
20:02are probably worth 40 or more i'd probably want to do a split of 50 50. like 60 40. i'll
20:12take 60 if
20:13you want to 60 take 40. no no no no 60 40. i'll go 40 60. done you gotta do
20:20it all right you feel good
20:20about that yes i do all right so much let me go call the guys we'll finish up the other
20:24job and we'll be
20:31back i know you like trail bikes and three wheelers i'll give you four how's that you know what i'll
20:37give you the deal man hey mike yo hey look what i found man see what you think about this
20:48oh my god
20:50this is a vectrex machine this was one of the original home video games wait a minute got something
20:58else for you hold up you're gonna love this look at this here we go dude this is insane i
21:07mean look at
21:08this iron man number four amazing spider-man number 29 like these are unbelievable and they're all in
21:17really good shape this box could be three to four grand and this vectrex machine that could be another
21:23grand oh that was a big fan then okay you did really good you're welcome buddy
21:36this could probably go for scrap
21:43what is this i think i got a target item
21:55what is this i think i got a target item
22:01coke machine
22:05it's in good condition and it got sodas already in here this is a really cool coke machine but
22:11unfortunately it's not rare matt's not going to be happy about this but hopefully we can find a
22:15collector to take it off our hands hey look man did you see this stuff over here no what is
22:21it look
22:22i mean this is probably 500 bucks in scrap metal yeah and we didn't that scrap metal is going way
22:29up we've already had three trucks leave so this will fill a fourth with all this thank god for the
22:34scrap metal if we find an extra 20 bucks here an extra 100 bucks here and then we find an
22:38extra 500
22:39800 bucks in scrap metal it starts to really really pay off
22:53these old lighters are awesome
22:58what that was a snake bro what when you move the top you run and don't say anything i mean
23:04i thought
23:05you knew the rule man when you see one person run everybody run i was thinking 1500 for the three
23:10anyway you can go any lower a little lower yeah 1200 maybe you got a deal dude 1200
23:16i'm at 5k i think you've got three to four grand value in the comics
23:21maybe a thousand dollars in the vectrex can you do four thousand you got a deal buddy awesome
23:30frank had a lot of motorcycles but this suzuki really stands out
23:33it wasn't the model we were hoping for but it's pretty cool in its own right
23:37and hopefully with the right buyer we can make some really good money
23:42looking at the suzuki yeah this is a gt 185 classic two-stroke engine ram air cooling system
23:49i'm looking for something to work on a project with my son looks like it does need a little work
23:55but
23:55it does look good what were you thinking on price here we were hoping 15. 1100 and we'll shake on
24:01it
24:01right now done you got to deal man enjoy it i hope you have a good time with your son
24:05the motorcycles
24:06are rolling out and the money is rolling in but we're still a long ways away from our goal of
24:1150
24:11000 and we still haven't found that safe we're going to the backyard with it
24:20andy thanks for coming out man thanks i have a couple things here i thought you'd love to see
24:25we've got vintage coolers and the vintage coke vending machine i had high hopes for the vintage
24:32coke machine but it's not from the 40s or 50s it's from the 70s and it's just not as valuable
24:37as what
24:38i'd hoped but we can still get a couple bucks for it holds 56 bottles classic design cut to the
24:45chase
24:45let's just do 1100 and call it a day sounds fair to me all right congratulations man
24:53man this was a hard job a lot of work a lot of sweat and now that the coop is
24:59clear
24:59i get to bring madison and frank in and show them our results
25:04all right guys we did a lot of work this week let's see how we do wow oh my goodness
25:13wow that's
25:14a lot of space dude wow you've got over 40 000 pounds of that we threw away thank you i
25:23realized
25:24why you are so jack all right let's keep walking are you kidding me it's a big room dude when
25:31you
25:31actually walk it you realize how big it is i had no idea 22 years of life and i've never
25:37seen this
25:37this is absolutely insane no no oh my goodness i am so proud of my dad i know that it
25:46couldn't have
25:46been easy at all for him to let go of the things that really he holds dear to him this
25:53is gonna be
25:54the workshop i'm just glad a lot of stress has taken off everybody it really i i didn't know how
26:01much it affected them but obviously it did we're gonna do woodworking over here if my daughter never
26:10reached out to matt uh i i would just be stuck where i was and that that really wasn't a
26:16good place
26:17all right you guys ready to talk numbers yes we did very well on the video games we did well
26:22on the
26:22motorcycles we did well on some helmets we did really well on knives and on some comic books
26:27we didn't end up finding a safe but the majority of the trash was actually sellable scrap
26:33so that ended up making us some money and shaving down the cleanup costs so believe it or not total
26:39sales
26:4335 000 i'm just as shocked as you are costs were right around 15 000 so just around 20 000
26:52profit
26:52wow 51 to you 49 to us and ten thousand two hundred dollars for you there you go brother thank
27:01you so
27:01much you guys enjoy it thanks money is nice but family and and freedom in your own space is is
27:10unbelievable matt thanks so much for coming here and bringing a uh a great crew here to to help me
27:18and my family i appreciate you learned that you can you can choose family
27:26we know we did some good here for this family we made some space we made him some money we
27:31made a
27:31difference
27:38we barely scraped by at frank's house we're gonna need a big payout at the second house
27:43so now we're headed to ann and larry's house we'll be hunting for the centennial declaration of
27:48independence some kung fu movie reels and a seinfeld script autographed by the cast
27:59there's a lot of stuff in this house and with this one i only have three days and so we
28:04have to
28:04come in and hit the ground running quarters typically hide their most prized possession in
28:10one space for this family it's the office so we're gonna start there and hopefully find some target
28:15items that we can sell fast
28:21oh as soon as i walk in what do you got this would be worth a couple of pennies
28:28walking liberty there's more than a few pennies but we need dollars
28:35it's tiffany and company this is gold oh the legend mike kelleher larry bird oh yeah the other
28:45legend i'm gonna keep picking and keep hunting okay let's do that all right i know we're looking for
28:52some seinfeld this is gonna be the new look for the 90s you're gonna be the first pirate but i
28:58don't
28:58want to be a pirate arguably no 90s sitcom had as massive a cultural impact as seinfeld
29:05seinfeld finale in 1998 drew a staggering 76 million viewers it was the show about nothing
29:12but everyone wanted a piece of it the actual puffy shirt jerry wore in season five episode two sold for
29:19incredible 54 000. all right oh my gosh dude i just found a seinfeld script no you didn't yes i
29:34did no way

29:58one is insane what do you mean there's no signatures yeah this one isn't either we need the signatures
30:04where are the signatures let's just keep looking for the signed one man yep it's a seinfeld script but
30:11it's not signed and if it's not a signed script it's barely worth the paper it's printed on
30:24all right what is this fix the bruce lee wait
30:32in 1966 a little known martial artist and actor named bruce lee was first introduced to american
30:40audiences as cato in the television show the green hornet within less than a decade he would transform
30:49into a global icon kicking off a global kung fu craze his 1973 film enter the dragon known for its
30:58pioneering fight scenes grossed over 400 million dollars the equivalent of 2 billion today in 2024
31:04bruce lee's stunt nunchucks from enter the dragon smash records at auction selling for more than 190

31:38knockoff films starring look-alike lees from bruce lie to dragon lee these are radio spots unfortunately
31:47these commercial reels are audio not video but bruce live memorabilia is extremely rare so that means for
31:55us less of these around man we are definitely going to be able to sell these well unfortunately these
32:01are not real bruce lee reels but they are pretty cool and we're going to be able to sell them

32:44it's pretty baller
32:58heroes in 1917 now this is really cool it's a military story stick and it looks like it dates
33:05back to world war one this would have been passed down from guys in the military and at the beginning
33:10in war one they would whittle it so it tells the story when these guys were in the war look
33:15here is
33:15in 1917 that's world war one war war one soldiers were often hunkered down in the trenches for days
33:26or weeks at a time so trench art was created story sticks or memory sticks were made out of whatever
33:32material they could find and they'd etch important dates thoughts really anything into them since they
33:39survived the trenches they're extremely rare today and usually sell at private auction
33:45i mean this is one of a kind american history i just found a bunch of first day cover stamps
33:55you got to find a stamp buyer which is getting harder and harder all the time
