00:00Let's talk about another team that is in the headlines because they're hoarding all of the good players.
00:05Rumor has it, my friends, that Miami is looking to hire two massive players.
00:12Bernardo Silva on a free transfer from Manchester City and no other than the Brazilian legend Casemiro.
00:22That would replace the whole left behind by Busquets for sure.
00:25Those are power moves, my friend.
00:27Is this a cheat code?
00:28Are we seeing that MLS is allowing this team to just run wild, hoard all of the stars?
00:34Now, Glimmer of Hope, Griezmann officially signed to Orlando.
00:41This is balancing, at least.
00:43What do you think, Nick?
00:45I'm a huge proponent of teams being able to hire and keep whoever they want to keep
00:50because as a Galaxy fan, I watched us give up a player, Jovic, a few years back who won us
00:55the Cup.
00:56We had to get rid of him just because of all the rules that MLS has.
00:58I think, yes.
00:59Is it good for fairness and balance?
01:01Probably not.
01:02Rules that only apply to certain teams because…
01:04That's a different conversation.
01:06That's a different conversation.
01:06If you're talking about it being, you know, not across the board yet because it's not, right?
01:10It's not.
01:10I mean, how is it different for Inter-Miami?
01:12How?
01:12I mean, Miami won, you know, they won the championship and they didn't get rid of, you know, the players
01:18that are bringing in.
01:18They could be DP and any other team.
01:21Now, the rumors of the players that are going to come in, you know, I mentioned this before.
01:25When Leo Messi coming to MLS, MLS 4.0 is going to open up more spaces for teams to be
01:30able to do what Miami is doing because they're allowing them to do that since the beginning.
01:35Sure.
01:35You know, they have always break the rules.
01:37What are the markets that we really need megastars in?
01:41We know that L.A. needs a megastar.
01:43We have Sony.
01:44We have Buanga.
01:45We…
01:46I think that New York lacks that star power right now.
01:49We have Miami with the most, you know, the most winning player of all times.
01:57Now, Griezmann coming to Orlando.
01:59Florida is taking care.
02:00James is in Minnesota.
02:02Who else is lacking of a really star power?
02:05Austin.
02:07Yeah, the South, man.
02:08Yeah, for sure.
02:08They have to, you know.
02:09I mean, even Galaxy, they need a big name.
02:12Galaxy.
02:12Yo, Casemiro, come.
02:14This is like a Brazilian squad.
02:15We'd have Peck in the midfield.
02:17We'd have João Claus up front with Casemiro in the midfield.
02:19Woo!
02:20That would be hot.
02:20Now, let's talk about the league at large.
02:22My friends, there's one team that I'm very excited to see what's happening,
02:27and that's New York Red Bulls.
02:29They have a complete different philosophy than everything else in the league.
02:33When we see these teams bringing European proven talent to their teams,
02:38they're looking inside, they're looking into their academies,
02:41and they're lining up teen-agers that are making a difference.
02:45What about that, guys?
02:46Is that the new way that some of these teams might be looking to get an edge
02:50with younger, faster, more technical players that might be running circles
02:54around the viejitos?
02:55I hope so.
02:56I think you've got to find a balance when it comes to that, right?
02:58You have to have the players that are going to teach the youngsters
03:01how to deal with pressure, how to play the games that are very decisive.
03:08But having that mentality of bringing players out of your academy
03:11to play for the MLS team, I think that makes a huge difference,
03:17not just an impact for Red Bulls, but also for the soccer in the United States,
03:21for the national team.
03:23And not just for the national team, we've seen it with Chivas, for example,
03:26with the MLS.
03:27Mexican-American players are going to League of America's teams,
03:32especially to Chivas, and those are players that are being developed
03:35in New York, in Dallas, and that's only going to make it better
03:38for the league because they're going to have so many players out there,
03:42but also for the national teams, not only from the USA,
03:44but also from El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, etc.
03:47A lot of growth.
03:48Nick, any exciting games that you're looking for this weekend?
03:53Yeah, definitely.
03:53I'm really looking forward to Minnesota versus the LA Galaxy.
03:57That's going to be a huge matchup.
03:58We were just talking about James Rodriguez, Yeboah,
04:01a huge goal scorer for Minnesota.
04:02That's going to be a great head-to-head against Zhao Klaus,
04:05another great goal scorer.
04:06We can expect a lot of goals.
04:08If you're thinking about getting spicy, you want to throw some money on the game,
04:11I would bet over two goals.
04:13I would bet the Galaxy probably winning.
04:15We have a slight edge, just historically speaking.
04:18And just as a squad, I think we are stronger despite coming in.
04:21So I am eyes glued because right now,
04:24this is going to determine the rest of the season for the Galaxy.
04:26We're pretty mid-table, low mid-table,
04:28so we need to win these games now to cement our place somewhere in the playoff contention zone.
04:33So I'm all eyes on Galaxy right now, of course.
04:36What about you guys?
04:37Any LAFC game, man, at this point.
04:40LAFC versus Cruz Azul.
04:42I want to hear your take.
04:43LAFC versus Cruz Azul.
04:44It's going to be a very tough match.
04:45Cruz Azul is playing a really, really good football.
04:49But also LAFC, I think that with this new coach, Dos Santos,
04:53he's finding a formula of always putting pressure on top,
04:57not giving up on any balls, and that's going to make a difference.
05:00LAFC versus Cruz Azul is playing a really good football game.
