Winter isn’t done yet. Two late-season storms — Winter Storm Joseline and Winter Storm Kadence — are bringing snow, ice, and dangerous travel conditions across parts of the northern United States.

From the northern Rockies to the Great Lakes and northern New England, these storms could dump several inches of snow while freezing rain makes roads slick and hazardous. Some areas may see more than 6 inches of snowfall, along with strong winds that could cause power outages and tree damage.

Although these storms are not expected to be as intense as last month’s historic blizzard, they may still disrupt travel heading into the Easter weekend.

And believe it or not, snow in April is actually normal across much of the northern U.S. In some regions like the Upper Midwest and the Rockies, snowfall can even continue into May.

Stay informed and stay safe as winter makes one more appearance before spring fully takes over.
